Nothing special even for pizza express

Took my kids to have pizza for dinner. Our waiters Beto and Alex were very welcoming and the service was very good. The chef Lalo made them really lovely pizzas, we were able to request a plain Margherita and it came as we asked.

The staff are always so helpful and friendly! The Kew pizza express is our families favourite branch to visit together

I ordered a shared pizza from the menu with separate toppings for take away. I got two pizzas and since I trusted that at least the toppings are then right, I was totally surprised when I opened the box: the other pizza was not the one I ordered. Also the bottom was raw, as thin as papadami bread and whole thing was totally tasteless. Even frozen pizzas are better and half the price. No thumbs for this chain. Good luck if you wanna try...

Beto was amazing!!! And the manager. They were so kind with our tricky order and made our party of 28 people very relaxed and all the food was brill.

Beto was a great server and it was a nice touch on the Mother’s Day cards! Lovely food as always. Pizza Dolce desert is to die for!

The pizza was too hard, couldn't even cut it with the roller they provided at the table and also not with the table knife, it was extremely difficult.. don't remember what I ordered, posting this review after three weeks

Found ourselves in the town after a tour of Kew Gardens and was looking for a place to eat. Came across Pizza Express and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Food was very good and the service was very good as well. Glad we decided to give it a try

The Best pizzas you can find in London

My experience at this pizza express was great, especially because of our waiter, Beto who got all the food to us quickly and efficiently.

Service awful - staff just couldn’t be bothered and it wasn’t busy.

Can’t recommend for a place to go out for dinner. Only recommend if have kids as restaurant is very child friendly. Pizza is good, although pizzas almost too thin but if you like that then quality is good. Prices have gone up massively at pizza express. Over £18 for some. Plenty of much better and authentic Italian pizzas to go to instead. Restaurant seemed quite dirty, used napkins on floor. Service poor - waiters forget things, seemed uninterested. Always very busy so they much make lots of money but go somewhere else unless you want a quick meal.

Our waiter (Arsh) was really brilliant. We were quite a chaotic table with 2 children under 4 making a lot of mess, but not once did he appear flustered or make us feel anything other than welcome to be there. He was so kind, went above and beyond with our requests and in general was just a star. Thank you, Arsh!

Visited with grandchildren and initially very busy which was good! However table near serving area and not to our liking so we asked to move. We were told that wasn’t possible but the manager sorted it out. The meal was very good and we will certainly return!

We went to eat when all the establishments had their kitchens closed (it was 2:00 p.m.). We decided to go to pizza express as we knew it (we had seen it in London) and the kitchen was open. We were served by Beto, a pleasant and helpful waiter. The food was good!

Have been to Pizza Express several times and always left feeling unimpressed There is nothing wrong with their food or service but there is nothing special And it it's very expensive when compared to other pizza places in London where you get more of everything for few less quids.

Sat upstairs. Not sure if that is something I'll do again. Slow service a d by the time the food arrives it's cold. Prices have shot up like most restaurants.

I went with my girlfriend … We love the place, the atmosphere that it has, the staff is very friendly, it has a very nice terrace, it is small but if you are lucky you find a place, we were lucky😎, the waiter who served us was Arsh and he was always very attentive to everything what we need, he gave us recommendations about each of the pizzas, the desserts, and the sides, the pizzas are spectacular, delicious, and they have a coupon system through their app that sometimes makes what you order It's very cheap for you. It really was a very pleasant experience, obviously we will return

We are on holiday from the USA! We had just visited kew gardens and were looking for a place to eat dinner before heading back to our AirBnb via the train. We stumbled into pizza express because it looked kid-friendly. And it certainly was! We had a great meal with afriendly waiter. All the staff were moving quickly to accommodate everyone and the food was comforting and exactly what we needed. We highly recommend!

I had the best Sloppy Giuseppe I've ever had - and I've eaten a few. I can't go back to the ones you buy in the supermarket now.

Lovely pizza express restaurant situated next to the station in Kew Gardens. Had my standard garlic bread followed by a pizza. Was both really nice and as always, cooked to perfection. My only comment would be that I think it is getting expensive and the brand needs to watch out that it doesn’t become too dear! Overall, however the restaurant was top notch

We received no acknowledgment when we went into the restaurant. Deliveroo and takeaways were a priority. Staff were unfriendly and when we asked if we could order, we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes. Express? It’s such a shame. It used to be good in here. We had to leave and go elsewhere as we were hungry.

The atmosphere is a bit noisy and it felt a bit chaotic. But the food was fresh and tasty and Alex’s customer service was impeccable which made up for the atmosphere.

Left my umbrella which I think is an easy thing to do given the changeable weather of the UK summer. Disappointing to find heading there the following day and it was gone. The staff blamed another customer, but do people really leaving as the last customer see that they have an opportunity to steal an unassuming wet black umbrella when it is no longer raining or it is more likely the staff when closing up realise it is an expensive one and decide to take it for themselves. Needless to say I will not be going to this restaurant ever again nor recommend anyone else stop by there. Was hoping honestly would be the outcome here, but seems stealing something that isn't yours is much more appealing to some people.
