The taste, friendliness, and atmosphere are all excellent. In particular, the male staff member with his hair dyed yellow was very friendly and nice (evening time).

Been to Pizza Express locations across the UK. This one stood out for it's rude service combined with multiple errors with our order.

La comida estaba bien, pero no era una gran bienvenida, ya que a la llegada nos dijeron que solo podíamos tener la mesa durante 1 hora y 20 minutos, ya que esperaban estar ocupados. Al final no nos echaron después de 1 hr 20 minutos, que fue bueno, ya que éramos seis de nosotros y todavía estábamos comiendo. El límite de cal de mesa debe comunicarse claramente en el momento de la reserva, no cuando estamos sentados.

A long term customer for more than 30 years and we had the worst service at the Kew location. We entered the restaurant last night the waitress sat us down and about 5 mins later the manager abruptly came over and asked about a reservation, proceeded to scold us for sitting down at the table even though the waitress seated us there. The commotion was unnecessary, we were called out in front of 6-8 folks waiting at the door and the surrounding tables curiously looked over to see what was happening. He then asked us to leave the table and go upstairs to another table but with an attitude. I politely offered him some feedback about his abruptness and rudeness he appeared uninterested. So we felt unwelcome and left and will never go back.

Ad hoc visit when they were bust but the manager accommodated us. Thanks !

Pizzas took 45 mins to come and and staff were so slow and rude (except for the women that greeted us)

El gerente de este restaurante en Kew no fue amable, vinimos el domingo 3 de noviembre de 2024 con más de 2 niños, no se da menú para niños, nos pregunta si estamos listos para ordenar y dice que el camarero estará con nosotros en un minuto, ningún camarero vino hasta que llame a uno en 20 minutos, nuestro pedido lo que se ha colocado y luego se eliminó de alguna manera, lo que nos hizo esperar otros 30 minutos para el segundo pedido colocado, los niños comenzaron a molestarse por el hambre, sin disculpas. Nos perdimos nuestra última entrada a Kew Gardens debido a los retrasos y sentimos que este lugar o no tiene personal suficiente o tiene algunos problemas de organización. Los camareros parecen estar trabajando muy duro y estresados. No es un lugar feliz para ir con los niños tristemente a pesar de que nos encanta pizza express en otros lugares.

Really enjoy our family experience at Pizza Express. It is a very convinient and nice place to come after school pick up with kids. Food and service are always really good. Especially Alexis and chef Jose and liz.

I have been to this Pizza Express a few times and it is consistently great. Today I attended with a large party including young children and two very large buggies. Arnold who served us was absolutely AMAZING - very kind and great with the kids, super efficient and accommodating, lovely and smiley! Everything was delicious and came very quickly. We had a wonderful lunch!

The food was soo good and very filling, immaculate service from the manager Karun and the server Fayaz! The lights in the evening are stunning and perfectly set the mood. I'd recommend going here on a weekday evening if you like a quieter, more intimate night, and a weekend lunchtime if you love the liveliness of it all.

First visit to this one and we enjoyed our meal. Everyone finished what was on their plates! The restaurant is well laid out for its size and even though it was full, it wasn't cramped and it was clean. Staff are so friendly and the service was fab. There is some parking outside but there are restrictions.

The food was really good, lots of vegan options and the service was excellent.

Poor service and extremely loud atmosphere. Couldn’t even hear ourselves talk. Upstairs closed, which was unfortunate as normally a bit quieter. Food was average at best, but wouldn’t expect anything more from a pizza express. Had to ask for tap water 3 times before being brought it, the second time was the manager as well. At which point we had already finished our meal. We got a good deal on the pizza from Unidays so £7.95 per classic pizza, otherwise not worth £15.25.

Came here with some friends for dinner with our kids in tow. The restaurant got pretty busy very quickly but our waiter Alexi provided really professional service despite how busy it was, and he also took the time to deal with our special requests without complaint. Really great service makes such a big difference - will definitely come again when visiting Kew Gardens.

Lovely place for lunch after a visit to Kew Gardens, only a short 10/15 walk from the gate. Cheap prices and consistent food across all their branches. They have an upstairs section too but this was closed when we visited. Went for dough balls, halloumi bites, Pollo ad Astra pizza and Fiorentina pizza and it was all delicious and service was fairly fast. We were quite disappointed by the drinks through. They had a new “Peach sparkle” drink advertised but it was just poured out of a can into the glass. Most staff are very friendly and helpful, the gentleman who took our order was very attentive towards allergies and we had people check in on us throughout the meal. However, there was a waitress who seemed like she was having a bad day and was yelling at the chefs in the kitchen and arguing against another waiter. She also tossed around spare chairs for another table when they didn’t need it. It was quite awkward to watch and the other waiters looked embarrassed on her behalf. This is the first time I’ve visited this branch so I can’t comment if it’s like this all the time but it was really uncomfortable to witness and we tried to avoid her!

AVOID WITH CHILDREN!!! We walked in on a Saturday afternoon with two sleeping children in strollers. There were other strollers in the restaurant and the place was half empty. They didn't acknowledge us until I asked if we could have a table and then they asked us if we had reservations (we didn't) and then told us that it wouldn't be possible to accommodate our strollers. When we pointed out that there was space and other people had strollers too, they said it was only one stroller per table not two.It was completely ridiculous!!! We walked out and went to the nearby Gail's where they didn't even comment on our strollers.

I’ve been to Kew a few times and on all occasions I’ve been they have been so kind and friendly especially manager as I have children the service is excellent the whole experience is the best I’ve had at any pizza express il be back again thanks kew 🙂🙂

Love the Leggera Pizza (they cut the middle part of a pizza and fill it with salad) I care about my body, but not too much.

Last Tuesday we’ve had the greatest day in Kew! And this restaurant had a huge part in it! After we had lunch here, we wanted to eat here in the evening as well, one of the staff, Fayaz immediately made sure we would have a spot in the evening! Later that evening during dinner we were helped greatly by Arnold the manager! They have a fantastic vegan menu, with lots of options. Staff and manger Arnold are very friendly, and were a huge part of our great experience.

Tuvimos una experiencia increíble en Pizza Express el mes pasado. Era la fiesta de cumpleaños de nuestra hija de 7 años, y no solo se lo pasaron genial, hicieron deliciosas pizzas y se mantuvieron ocupados y felices. Pizza Express (especialmente el miembro del personal que cuidó de nuestro grupo, Norby) hizo un excelente trabajo para mantener a todos los niños satisfechos, felices y ocupados. Se les dio a cada uno un poco de masa en una sartén, para extender. Norby ofreció ayuda a cada niño y pronto se estaban divirtiendo mucho. Había una gran variedad de coberturas, y atendían a todos los niños. Sin embargo, el proceso de cocción tomó bastante tiempo, por lo que sugerimos ir un poco más temprano para asegurarse de que su almuerzo llegue a tiempo. Los productos terminados eran deliciosos, y los niños estaban muy orgullosos. También daban helado como golosina al final, con salsas también. En general, la fiesta fue extremadamente entretenida para los niños, y fácil de localizar y organizar!

Very lovely place; for my son's sixth birthday, we have scheduled a pizza-making party where the kids can make their own pizza. Alex was a very helpful along with the kids, as well as the Shop Manager, thank you

Pre ordered via app , when at the resturant to collect still had to wait almost 40 min for order to be ready, walk in customer had been seated and served their food before my order was ready. However the food quality and tast was good.

Great pizzas as ever. Though added anchovies on a Margarita could be a bit more generous. The Padana Romana is always a favourite. Service by Beto was prompt and attentive. Quite quiet on a wet Saturday evening at 8.30 but can be very busy with family groups - and visitors coming back from Kew Gardens- earlier in the day

Came in for the birthday party for my 7 year old daughter. The process was convenient from booking to the day of the party. On the day, Alex helped us and was super helpful and supportive. He kept the kids engaged in the pizza making process and was very kind to help kids who were also a bit late.

Our favourite local pizza express. Always vibrant with great service. Kids friendly too! Yash is amazing and makes you feel welcome. He is full of humour and yet very professional and courteous at the same time! We love this haunt! Yash you are amazing!

A quiet Saturday evening (19:30). The Dough Ball dips were lacking in flavour, the garlic butter lacking in garlic. The tomato sauce with the Cannaloni was bland, the cheese sauce thin, no substance to the pasta. A mixed side salad was flavourless (rocket, tomatoes....). One male waiter was friendly, otherwise non memorable staff. Just stating the truth....

Nothing special even for pizza express

Took my kids to have pizza for dinner. Our waiters Beto and Alex were very welcoming and the service was very good. The chef Lalo made them really lovely pizzas, we were able to request a plain Margherita and it came as we asked.

I ordered a shared pizza from the menu with separate toppings for take away. I got two pizzas and since I trusted that at least the toppings are then right, I was totally surprised when I opened the box: the other pizza was not the one I ordered. Also the bottom was raw, as thin as papadami bread and whole thing was totally tasteless. Even frozen pizzas are better and half the price. No thumbs for this chain. Good luck if you wanna try...
