Eman was so nice! Food was fantastic as well

We were served by Eman last week and let’s just say everything was top notch. We were seated promptly. She was very kind and accommodating as we were one of the last tables at the end of the night. Regardless the food tasted incredible. Her recommendations for desserts are commendable. Really enjoyed our night.

The food is so disappointing. The pizza is dry and you can tell that they didn’t cook it but just took a frozen pizza and threw it in the oven. For an Italian restaurant that’s disappointing. The prices are extremely high. We waited one hour for the order. The atmosphere is decent though.

After over 1 h of waiting after receiving starter when our son complained that he is hungry we contacted waiter and found out that our main was not even sent to kitchen .they was not even busy we came late to see friend and now we have to change the plans to find something to eat for our son. Of course we did have to pay full price for wine and starter around 36 pound they did not even offer discount

Eman looked after us very well as we were time limited. Food was great and wine good value. Good we were accommodated on a busy Saturday afternoon in Oxford!

Great service by Sanjay. We were a group of over 15 and were quite chaotic, normal for such a large group, sometimes waiters get annoyed, but Sanjay handled it with a big smile and he answered questions patiently, he was fast and smart and was able to retain information and change orders seamlessly, he truly cared to provide a good service. Food wise, enthusiastic recommendation for the king prawns!

We went to Zizzi in Oxford for lunch around 1 p.m. on a Sunday,the restaurant was almost empty,3-4 tables of 4 people were sitting.We waited for our two pastas for 40 minutes although saying that we are in a rush.Waiters took ages to come to us and take our order,was impossible to call them as they were going around our table.As well as the normal toilet was out of order and the extra one was dirty and nasty.The food was actually nice but everything else could be better.

Fab place, fab staff and fab food. But chilly by the door but highly recommend

I got the Chicken and prosciutto salad and i thought it needed a bit more sauce. Other than that the service by Sanjay was incredible!!

Food was lovely but service was abysmal from the older man, may have been a manager. He was also incredibly rude to the other staff working. Won’t go back.

Very nice pizza with a warm welcome!

Visited here on 7th October 2024. Had reason to stay in Oxford until evening and was helped by Ben to look after luggage. We were served by Ben and Erica and could not fault their service. Sorry for delay in reviewing. Thanks once again would return if ever back in Oxford.

Ben is an incredible asset. Excellent customer service, and very happy to look after us for the entirety of our visit. This is a lot more than I can say about the rude manager. Who turned his nose up at us and snapped at us when we requested to sit downstairs. Refused to give us table service if we sat downstairs so made us order on the app. Ben saw us there and looked after us all night, and quite happily took our order. Such a friendly guy, and he managed to ensure this review ended up positive. Food was excellent, but the attitude of your manager really put a dampener on an otherwise lovely evening.

We had a great experience at Zizzi’s the atmosphere was such good vibes. The service is great, we had Sanjay as our waiter, he did an incredible job to make us welcome. The food was delicious, myself and my family ate everything! Would recommend people sit on the ground floor as the lower ground smelled a bit damp. Overall a lovely experience!

I was very disappointed to see that the pork belly dish has been taken off the menu. This is my favourite dish here and I’m afraid I am thinking of never coming back if you do not put this back! But Ben was a very good waiter and very kind!

Amazing food and service. The place is cozy and they make you feel at home. Federica was a lovely host.

Starter (Calamari) was bland and undercooked, aioli was tasteless. Mains were overcooked, veg microwaved and overall impression was poor. Place is understaffed, we stood waiting to be seated for several minutes and basically ignored. For a high street chain this was simply not good enough and we won’t be going there again.

Since we were on Oxford Street and were looking for a restaurant, we chose the Zizzi restaurant chain. Was there several times and was always satisfied. Although we didn't have a reservation, there was still space for 4 people. Recommended!

Went to have a solo celebratory meal using a voucher I had ! From start to finish the service was fantastic with a lovely boy (im sorry I didnt catch his name) welcoming me to my table and the fantastic Erika who is making sure everything is A okay ! Always love a trip to Zizzis and this new prawn dish was delicious. Looking forward to seeing you again soon

Good and friendly service, nice food and a lovely vibe

My Daughter Graduated from Oxford University on 28/10/24 and wanted to eat at somewhere and was significant in her academic journey, Zizzi in Oxford. This was the first restaurant she went to in her first year. We pre-booked a table for 6 knowing that the restaurant would be busy. We received our drinks after a 30-minute wait and watched 2 tables of customers leave the restaurant as they had to wait too long for their food to arrive. An hour after receiving our drinks I asked to speak to a lady who worked there as she seemed to be the only member of staff who knew what they were doing. This lady's name is Federica. We calmly spoke to each other and she heard my frustration as to why we had to wait so long for our meal. Federica was so apologetic and did everything she could to bring in our meal, dessert and drinks. Federica is an absolute star and is a mahoosive asset to the Zizzi brand. I wish I could say the same for the actual meal that we had at Zizzi'z Oxford, but Federica was the one person who saved the occasion, making my daughter's Graduation Day complete. Thank you Federica.

Ben is an extremely friendly waiter. He goes the extra mile to make sure I liked his service. With his charming smile, handsome looks. What else could make the experience better? Food and drink business is always tough. Especially more so for F&B business in Oxford. Which is why I treasure Ben our waiter so much. He is such a kind soul and went out of the way to make our meetup lunch a pleasant one. I love the way he jokes with customers. And how he splendidly dishes out the plates and speaks to us in the most cordial way. We need more service staff like Ben. Please send our regards to this handsome cordial lad!

Ben, the waiter was really nice, he gladly helped us and was really kind. The food was really really good. Also the vibe, really cozy and nice seats. Also the price is fair to what you get for it, I would recommend it and probably go again if I'm in Oxford.

Booked here as part of our group are celaics and we know they cater well. Nice atmosphere and food very good but massively understaffed, 2 people at the front of house and they were up against it, our drinks took ages to come because there was no staff. The chap who served our large table could have done with some help and we felt sorry for him but he did a sterling job. Would visit again as the food was good but they need to employ more staff.

Amazing food, one of the best if not the best from different Zizzi locations. Service is perfect, very friendly staff. It's necessary to add tip option to payment app. 10/10

Our waitress was great! The food was fantastic! If you like thin pizza… this is the place to go! We got the margarita and pinoli pizza. Absolutely delicious, I did prefer the pinoli pizza the most! Be dry flavorful.

Typical Italian from a chain, it was not very crowded and the staff was very friendly, complete dishes but also "complete" prices... definitely in Catalonia/Spain we do not value what we have.

We called in for tea at Zizzi in Oxford and we’re not disappointed. Food was amazing and Ben took our order and looked after us throughout our meal. Very attentive, funny and genuinely interested in how our day had been. He’s a really asset to the team. Thank you Ben, we will definitely be popping in again when back in the area.

I went there to have dinner with my friends around 8:00pm. We have 6 people in our group so it took us some time to decide what to get. Then a women with glasses came and yelled at us to order faster cuz they are closing in an hour and 15 minutes. I think she is a manager or something because she was the only one without the uniform. She serves our table without smiling to us once. We saw her scolding to the other waitresses and giving zero attention to the customers. The food was good but in a restaurant there should be a good customer service to make the restaurant environment welcoming and enjoyable but with her attitude I am never coming back again.

My kid is a frequent patron of Zizzi because he loves the kids menu from starter to the chococcino! Today, the chicken pieces of the Chicken Spendini were particularly small (given we have been to quite a couple of zizzi ordering the same dish every time, we could tell the difference.) Other than that, the staff were really nice, especially Ben who interacted with my kid as if my kid was in a high-end posh restaurant.

I have a few things to say here. First of all, the people working there are very friendly and the restaurant looks very good from the inside. When it comes to the food though I am a little confused. It’s not so much Italien after all I think. The pizza at least, can’t say much more about the rest. It lacks tomato sauce. There is a small amount of it there in comparison to the huge amount of cheese. I ordered a „rustic“ style pizza but was sad not to have a giant crust all round with lots of fluff in the dough. Nothing like that was to be found sadly :/ Especially for the price of about 15£ Lots of thing to improve in the kitchen I believe
