Very delicious but small portions. Kind of expensive i would say. Also the toilets were dirty with bad smell while there were just few people in the restaurant.

when you put my order in it said 30 mins delivery that was fine 10 mins later I looked at my phone delivery time had changed to 50 min then it actually turned up 45 mins after that so I don't no what was going on there

Camarera nos dejó de pie en la puerta (nos había mirado varias veces, pero nos estaba ignorando a propósito) ... entramos en el restaurante y pedimos sentarnos, entonces nos rechazó a pesar de que habíamos reservado una mesa en línea porque dijo que estaba por su cuenta y demasiado ocupado... el restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío (seis mesas con personas como máximo) … . Más confuso aún, puedes pagar y ordenar usando un código QR, por lo que la declaración de demasiado ocupado no era válida en mi opinión, ya que todo lo que tenía que hacer era llevar la comida a la mesa. Muy decepcionante

Necesitas una buena imaginación para traducir lo que fue un tazón de masa con papas y salsa, en - ‘NewBeef Brisket & Venison Stufato Un guiso de carne de res y venado cocinado lentamente. Elaborado con vino Chianti, cebollas y patatas. Todo enclavado en nuestro tazón de masa con scamorza crujiente y salvia’. No fue tan bueno como parecía.

Can’t remember how many times I’ve come to Zizzi’s. Amazing food and great service! Shout out to the fabulous Ben again for being such a friendly and professional staff!!

Habíamos reservado y estábamos encantados sentados antes de nuestra hora de llegada. Desafortunadamente todo comenzó a salir mal, tomó unos buenos 20 minutos más allá de nuestro tiempo de reserva original para tener nuestro pedido tomado, luego más de una hora después de que nuestra comida llegó y luego solo 4 de nuestras 5 comidas. En ese momento nos dijeron que no podían hacer una de las cosas que habíamos pedido y nos presentaron un menú para reordenar, en ese momento solo nos quedaban 5 minutos para comer antes de que fuéramos al teatro, así que terminamos compartiendo la comida que conseguimos entre nosotros. El restaurante estaba muy poco personal, por lo que pudimos ver 2 camareros y una sola persona en la cocina - uno pensaría que con un restaurante ocupado con lo que eran claramente asistentes al teatro todos con una hora de finalización similar en mente alguien habría tomado la decisión de dejar de dar un paseo - ins y sin duda dejar de tomar órdenes de entrega!

I didn't receive any order, how is it possible for them to show me that I received the food?

I came here tonight for dinner with my mum and daughter the place was packed with only two people on floor to do it all! However both team members a man (manager I think) and a lovely lady (big gold hoops) were nothing short of fantastic, nothing was a problem for them and although you could see how stressful it must have been they done everything with grace and massive smile! not forgetting the chefs who were smashing out the food all night but even more impressive was the quality of the food still, piping hot and delicious! I never normally leave reviews but I couldn’t not tonight! Thank you so much to the amazing staff for another enjoyable meal, I really hope the staff are proud of themselves as they should be and are a massive asset to zizi working in hospitality myself I was beyond impressed with how they handled the situation if I could give more than a 5* I would

We walked in at 11:30am - waited by the door for a moment. No staff member in sight so we made our way to a table by the window. The waitress then very rudely exclaimed to us to not sit where we want and to wait by the door next time. She wouldn’t let us sit at the table we wanted. There was only one other person in the whole restaurant. We got up and left straight away because of this persons attitude.

Update 1 Mar 2025: there is good service and there is amazing service. Georgina was so friendly, thoughtful and professional that I have had to give her a special shout out. She genuinely enjoys working in Zizzi Oxford and it makes my dining experience extraordinary! Ben is an extremely friendly waiter. He goes the extra mile to make sure I liked his service. With his charming smile, handsome looks. What else could make the experience better? Food and drink business is always tough. Especially more so for F&B business in Oxford. Which is why I treasure Ben our waiter so much. He is such a kind soul and went out of the way to make our meetup lunch a pleasant one. I love the way he jokes with customers. And how he splendidly dishes out the plates and speaks to us in the most cordial way. We need more service staff like Ben. Please send our regards to this handsome cordial lad!

Food was very cold when arrived so had to reheat which was a shame as pizza was good.

The customer service at Zizzi was absolutely amazing from the staff especially Georgina. She was always asking us if we were ok and if we needed anything extra. Very smiley, bubbly staff. Food was amazing but one thing that the temperature could have been hot as it was a bit cold when receiving it.

Food was good as expected from Zizzi - you know what you're going to get! The service from Ben was lovely. He was friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and didn't rush us.

Fake death to avoid lightning! After eating for an hour and waiting for 50 minutes, Oppo phones are not as good as yours. The service attitude is also quite relaxed and they treat customers as friends. I ordered food and sat down to chat with others. Why don't you lie on the customer's lap? I ask. Not allowed to come.

I had a wonderful dinner with my family at Zizzi Oxford. Georgina was fantastic—she was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. While the food was similar to other branches and didn't stand out as exceptional, my kids thoroughly enjoyed it and finished every last bite of their plates. Great Saturday evening at Zizzi's! Our server Ben was very friendly and attentive to all our needs, much praise to Ben! 👏 😊 Food was good but the bruschetta bread was abit cold, needed to be toasted a little longer. Portion size of ravioli was also abit small. Atmosphere and the restaurant setup, decor was spot on!, thoroughly enjoyed my evening there. Best Zizzi I've ever visited. Thank you!

This was the first time that I'd been back to a Zizzi in MANY years and we both really enjoyed our evening out. We had a friendly welcome and Emma was especially lovely throughout our meal. The goat's cheese and hot honey bombe was insanely delicious and I also really enjoyed my Sticky Pig pizza main. Great service, food and atmosphere means we will be returning soon for sure.
