I was invited here by friends unexpectedly. It had a good number of customers, but not full, which was fine for me, as our conversation was important. Both the manager and waiting staff were friendly and attentive. I had the lasagne grande, which I have to say had great flavours and texture. I made a special point of telling the kitchen staff.

Had a fantastic experience, Andreea provided outstanding service from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the warm, welcoming ambience made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We arrived at 8 and were told that the restaurant was closing soon We were constantly told that it was closing. Not very relaxing. Only one staff member was working and very busy with the small number of tables there. Food was delicious, well priced and arrived fast. DiDidn'stay for dessert as were rushed out.

Ordering took forever, it wasn't until we reported that someone came and took the order. And so it went on, it took a long time until the food came, then until the dessert for the children's menu came (we had to ask for it ourselves), until the bill... Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty either

The greeting we got when we walked in should have been enough to make us turn around and walk out again but against our better judgment we didn't. We ordered drinks. The wine was like vinegar and the beer was warm. I had King Prawn Al Forno for starter. This came out dry and the prawns were rubbery and stuck to the plate along with the ciabatta. My partner had olives which was the only thing they didn't manage to ruin. We both had the Pollo Della Casa which was extremely peppery and quite unpleasant. The creamy mushroom sauce we were looking forward too was a runny thin liquid. The dishes had clearly been microwaved for some time as when the plates were bought to the table we were warned it was very hot. This warning wasn't necessary though as they were bubbling furiously away in front of us. The whole experience in this place was pretty grim but it didn't stop them having the cheek to ask if we wanted to leave a tip. Here it is......try harder and get some new staff!

El saludo que recibimos cuando entramos debería haber sido suficiente para hacernos dar la vuelta y salir de nuevo, pero en contra de nuestro mejor juicio no lo hicimos. Pedimos bebidas. El vino era como vinagre y la cerveza estaba caliente. Tuve al rey Prawn Al Forno para empezar. Esto salió seco y los langostinos estaban gomosos y pegados al plato junto con la ciabatta. Mi compañero tenía aceitunas que era lo único que no lograron arruinar. Ambos tuvimos el Pollo Della Casa que era extremadamente picante y bastante desagradable. La salsa cremosa de hongos que estábamos esperando también era un líquido escurrido. Los platos estaban claramente en el microondas desde hacía algún tiempo, ya que cuando se compraron los platos a la mesa nos advirtieron que estaba muy caliente. Esta advertencia no era necesaria, ya que estaban burbujeando furiosamente delante de nosotros. Toda la experiencia en este lugar fue bastante sombría, pero no impidió que tuvieran la mejilla para preguntar si queríamos dejar una propina. Aquí está. . . . . esfuércese más y consiga un nuevo personal!

Coco was very gentle didn’t charge me for the pasta, that’s very kind of him because we where waiting for a long while… but I am happy with the food & service, I’d recommend to try the vegetarian version of pasta, definitely must visit…

Visitamos preguntar Oxford antes de ir al teatro. pedimos bebidas, entrantes y comidas principales. Las bebidas llegaron sin problemas mientras esperaban nuestra comida disfrutando de nuestras bebidas un miembro del personal estaba dando vueltas alrededor de las mesas diciendo a los clientes que tienen una emergencia y que iban a cerrar por favor, podría salir. Llegaron a nuestra mesa y nos pidieron que nos fuéramos. Esto fue alrededor de las 7. 00 un sábado por la noche. No había urgencia para que nos fuéramos y el personal seguía trabajando, así que realmente no sé cuál era el problema. Nos fuimos pero no pudimos conseguir una mesa en ningún lugar cercano, así que terminamos en la hamburguesería para llevar a pocas puertas de distancia. Pregunte a Oxford gracias por rellenar nuestra noche. por favor, saque una hoja de su restaurante Abingdon, nunca hemos tenido problemas allí. Mi esposa Vicky también ha enviado correos electrónicos a su oficina central, pero aún así no han tenido respuesta de ellos.

We visited on 29.03.25 I had some olives as a starter and my partner had garlic prawns. The olives were sprinkled with dried herbs for some obscure reason which added nothing to the dish other than it felt strange to eat,partners prawns were ok.my partner asked for a lime and soda but the waiter said they didn't do it which is ridiculous. Main was fetucini bologneise which was devoid of any flavour even after parmesan,salt and pepper were added a truly awful experience i ate about three fork fulls in total it was so poor. partner had prawn tagliatelle which was also bland and tasteless,she also left the good majority of her meal still in the dish. I asked for the bill and the waiter commented on why we had left so much so I told him respectfully that it had no flavour so he picked up both dishes and took them back to the kitchen,when he returned I asked if he showed them to the chef and he said yes and still charged us the full price of just above £63. A truly uninspiring experience ,good simple tasty food is not difficult but this was neither good or tasty Ps.we also had chips which would have been ok but it tasted like someone had grated raw garlic over it,what were they thinking.

Reservado aquí para la cena antes de ver un espectáculo, para empezar con muchas de las cervezas que no tenían ya que dijeron que estaban cambiando de menú. Luego pedimos comida, los entrantes estaban bien, pero cuando llegaron los platos principales, salieron 3 y no había explicación de dónde estaba la otra comida. Llamé a alguien que se fue y dijo que venía. La comida que sacaron estaba fría y yo tenía ragu de res que parecía una porción de entrada. No hay oferta si queremos queso parmesano. Después de otros 5 minutos, preguntamos dónde estaba la otra cena, cuál y cuándo finalmente llegó de nuevo agobiante. Me quitaron algo de dinero de la cuenta, pero prefiero pagar el precio completo y tener una buena comida, que es lo que esperas cuando reservas para comer en algún lugar

I love Ask Italian. We had carbonaras and the nduja pasta. Our server, Coco, was so lovely - 2 of us were gluten free and he showed us the allergen list and full GF menu. He was so friendly and funny and really made our night.

The staff seemed a bit annoyed. The food was very tasty, but the portions were relatively small and very expensive.

Waited for 39 minutes for my food and when the pasta came it was not well cooked and hard to bite and the taste was really bad feel so disappointed

We were going to the ballet over the road from the restaurant and needed a quick meal. Even though there were 9 of us in the party, the service was excellent and very swift! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Seafood pasta, spicy calzone, prawn pizza etc great!

Very busy pizzeria in the heart of Oxford. I thought I would try a chain restaurant, hoping I would be impressed but it was the opposite, left quite deflated. As our experience was very underwhelming. The menu was quite limited for non alcohol drinkers. Our food came out quickly but only to find it was luke warm in temperature and quite tasteless despite adding seasoning and Parmesan. The hot chocolate portion size was small but tasted ok. The pizza cutter was fairly blunt so cutting the pizza was a bit of a chore. The hospitality was non attentive. After we got our food, the staff didn't check on us or ask if we wanted anything else. When we got the attention of the staff, we were told they didn't have change if we were to pay cash which was a bit unfair for cash payers. Sorry but wouldn't return here or recommend this restaurant as there's plenty of better options in Oxford.

I went there today at 2.30 pm today , the restaurant was empty , the service and staff rude and we waited 90 minutes for our food ! The staff were not client oriented and watching you tube videos , we had no service eventually left . Refused to pay for main course we were the only ones in the restaurant. They were more interested in delivery orders for Uber eats . They didn’t make us pay for drinks but very disappointed with their attitude . They should probably be a uber delivery restaurant than a restaurant for tourists in Oxford . They didn’t even check if we were okay . Went across the road and service and ambience amazing fed in 15 minutes.

I got some lunch from here on a late Thursday afternoon. The food was delicious, I got prawn pasta and some cheesy chips. The pasta from fresh and tasty, the fish was too. The chips tasted like triple cooked chips and the garlic mayo was delicious too. Fantastic service from the staff. Lovely and warm interior and atmosphere. Great job guys and girls.

The restaurant experience was disappointing. I was served a cup with visible lipstick stains, which was extremely unhygienic. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, with no apology at all. This lack of basic hygiene and poor service is unacceptable.

Entró por suerte. Hoy Quizás 8 personas esperaron durante casi 10 minutos para que alguien reconociera que estábamos allí cuando estábamos de pie en el lugar que dijo que esperara aquí para sentarse. El personal nos ignoró por completo, ya que estaban demasiado ocupados charlando entre sí sobre cosas personales El restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío después de 10 minutos de espera viéndolos charlar nos dimos por vencidos al otro lado de la carretera a Bella Italia Y se sentaron inmediatamente y también reconocieron a pesar de Bella Italia estar más ocupado Puedo ver fácilmente por qué

I went with my partner for a lovely meal. The food arrived fast and was delicious. I want to especially thank Andrea, our waitress for having served us very professionally. She was very nice and checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was good.

I come here alot and never had a bad meal. The food is reasonably priced and the staff is always nice. The location of the restaurant is also very good as it is close to the centre and also the theatre. The tiramisu is my favourite dessert, I definitely recommend trying it!

The prices are too high even by today’s standards. £18 for a pizza is a joke — if you’re charging me that much it needs enough meat topping to not look like a cross-contaminated margarita. The staff were also very slow to take our dessert orders despite the restaurant having emptied out and apparently had no intention of coming to our table to take the bill. Unfortunately was stuck with this as there was little choice available for a large group booking on a Saturday, but would definitely not return

Dinner for two, very friendly service. Nice food, nice atmosphere, very pleasant. Small portions. Compared to pre-pandemic it's quite noticeable. Shame. Pasta doesn't cost much but Ask in Abingdon is the same so must be a national choice.
