Gusto Italian, Oxford in Oxford

Food was delicious. However pizza wasnt cut into pieces. The knife was dull. We tried to cut and couldn’t. Then we asked the waitress to bring it to us cut. She refused.

We arrived withoit a reservation on a thursday night. The starters were nice and for the main dishes we took pasta and lasgania they were amazing! Service was very good and fasy, the waiters were very kind and happy to help

My niece finds busy environments overstimulating and we had forgotten her noise cancelling headphones, but she had her heart set for a pasta from the menu. Our lovely host Prasana was amazing, he offered us a table in a much quieter area to accommodate her sensory sensitivity, which made our experience so much more enjoyable! An excellent example of being understanding and inclusive! The food was also delicious and overall service efficient. Would definitely return!

We had the carbonara it was very dry the spaghetti was very thick and no taste Overpriced and the service charge was not worth it

The main waitress was great however the lady who brought the mains had an attitude, our starter plates hadn't been cleared and she expected us to juggle the plates, when someone else cleared the plates she pulled a face......its a shame as the food was good and main service good.

Gusto’s food was delicious, especially with the plant-based dishes offered. The Garlic Dough Petals in particular were delicious. My waiter, Mihai, was polite and his upbeat demeanour was appreciated. I hope to eat at Gusto again if I get the chance to visit Oxford.

Jesus was very helpful and answered all queries we had. Also was very good with allergies. Food was very tasty, and fabulous to see an option for the Carbonara.

La calidad de la comida era buena , tuvimos un camarero amable y el ambiente era lo suficientemente agradable . Sin embargo, la comida y bebida era muy mala relación calidad-precio. El vino por copa costó bastante más de £ 10 y la pasta con cangrejo alrededor de £ 18 , una hamburguesa cercana a las £ 16 . Un pequeño trozo de pan de focaccia con aceite de oliva de más de £ 4. Ellos sabían bien, pero eran muy caros. A precios razonables volvería aquí pero no a los niveles de precios actuales. Soy un comensal habitual en Oxford y hay opciones mucho mejor relación calidad-precio a pocos metros de Gustos

Jesus truly arrived for Easter.

The food and service — stellar. Mihai was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, joyous, and made delicious recommendations. The atmosphere would have been stellar, too, if the music wasn’t up so loud and if the host hadn’t been such a stick in the mud.

My experience was pretty good, i think the food overall was one of the best ive had in oxford but especially the service. Jesus has been incredible always respectful and understood exactly what i wanted, we could both communicate in Spanish facilitating my queries, thank you jesus hope i see u around when i come back.

We ordered Margherita and Arrabbiata. The pizza had no tomato sauce. It was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. As for the pasta, there was too much garlic. It upset my stomach a lot. Given the high prices, you expect a good meal, but it wasn’t.

Best bottomless brunch, due to Mihai, our waiter. Very attentive and made us feel like the only customers.

Service was good steak cold and crème brûlée was just custard with sugar sprinkled on. Food could have been much better.

Fantastic Italian restaurant with authentic carbonara. The pasta and lasagna were delicious. We were served very well, and in Spanish, by Jesús.

Tuvimos la comida más increíble en Gusto’s anoche. El pan de Focaccia para empezar fue cálido y acogedor cielo, seguido por el filete de chateaubriand para compartir y el tirimasu, bombalini y brownie para terminar. Nuestro servidor Tash no podía hacer lo suficiente para garantizar que nuestra experiencia gastronómica era perfecta. Ella era muy conocedora del menú y atenta durante todo el tiempo. Un lugar obligado para cenar casual y una ocasión especial! ¡Estamos muy contentos de que perdimos nuestra reserva en Marco Pierre's y pudimos tomar una mesa aquí!

A great Saturday evening and delicious food. Jesus was a great server, full of energy and professional.

Some of the food was cold and the adaptations that the server requested on our behalf were missed. But the issues were rectified very quickly and sincerely apologised for by both our server and the manager. Over all the service was better than the food.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food with generous portions and friendly staff. We were lucky to get a seat by the window and even with the place packed, the staff were really attentive and gave us some great recommendations.
