Perios in Oxford

Zigi had just finished cleaning when I walked in to get food he said he didn't have much left (nothing that I faniced) I explained I'm a night worker and everything else is closed he asked me what I'd like and he would cook it for me. The food was unreal and obviously really appreciated the effort he put in just to feed me what I wanted

Always mess up my orders. it's either it cones less than ordered or they deliver something else entirely different. I ordered 2 portions of sweet potato fries and I've just received a portion of regular fries.

Ordered online through JustEats and received a Chicken burger instead of a Falafel burger. I rang them to inform about it and was replied with a very unhelpful "contact JustEats". Justeats refused to refund, Perios were no help and said "they ran out of Falafel". You don't just send a chicken burger if you ran out of Falafel. I don't mind anyone eating meat but I'm a vegetarian and the chicken burger is of no use to me. Lost 2x my money as order from Perios was just money lost with no refund + more spent on another order.

Unfortunately the wrong item was sent! Just Eat are not doing anything to stop this continious major problem from many restaurants!!!

I ordered 4 portions of sweet potato fries for £16 and got like 20 pieces of fries.

Cheapest wings in Oxford that's the only thing I've had from here but they're always decent, every time I've ordered 18 I only get 14-15 though which fills the little box you get them in but if I've ordered 18 wings I want 18 not 15. I'm pretty sure they only have one sauce as well because they all taste the same (all the way from Jamaican jerk to Mediterranean herbs).

Food was good as ever but the first estimate of delivery time was 21:25 to 21:40 and I got it at 22:00.. More than half an hour later and I didn't have too much time to eat because I started working 20 min later..

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Disgusting tasteless food. Wings were not even cooked in the sauce I chose instead just poured on top of tasteless wings. Gourmet beef burger has absolutely no taste cooked without any seasoning. Food was not edible at all had to throw everything waste of money!

I had the classic chicken burger and was cooked to perfection was absolutely lovely definitely the best chicken burger on the road bar none friendly staff highly recommended can't wait to go back and try something different.

I was visiting Oxford with a friend. First time at Perios. Opted for the Philly Steak Burger meal. Tasty & filling. Options of vegetarian or meat. Reasonable prices. Ours cost about £10 each. Good food. Would recommend.

Such a worst food ever in oxford, the burger was completely burned, no taste at all, and over charged for small portion of chips. The guy was arrogant and always hungry for money.

Fantastic venue, food is great and the variety of drinks is good value. Davide our host was great fun and was quick on anything we needed. Top guy! Definitely worth a visit!

Perios used to be banging, the chicken was tender and succulent, the chips were amazing, the packaging was pro, like they actually cared. Now it's just a disappointment, been willing to forgive the last few orders but just can't defend or recommend anymore. Such a shame.

Food was delivered stone cold, phoned restaurant and they said to report to just eat, did that to request refund and they replied saying I will have 5 pound credited to my account, absolutely ridiculous. Wanted them to come back and get food, they weren’t interested in the slightest! Only gave 1 star because I can’t give zero

Pizza was okay, and grilled chicken was tasty and juicy.

On our order one burger was very good the other was tough. The nachos were a joke.

Ordered for collection. Given a collection time and when I arrived 10 min early to collect, the order wasn't started. I was given a further 20 min to wait, which became 28 min. Why did I order in advance to have to wait 28 min in the shop? Also a warning that lemon pepper seasoning on chicken is neither mild, nor lemon pepper. It's tasty, as long as you don't mind chilli. It didn't work for us because I was feeding a young child. A whole chicken was not available, so I was given 4 portions of chicken, which was smaller than a whole chicken.

It is the second time that I have problems with the order... today they have not left me the drink, they are ridiculous

Great food and a perfect spot to sit and eat on Cowley road! Had a few problems in the past but the owner was amazing in sorting things out and compensating any mistakes made.

I didn’t receive my garlic bread and the dip of my chicken wasn’t that one that I ordered

Do excellent Portuguese pizzas (and burgers) - including three vegetarian ones! 😮 Been meaning to visit for a while and, with lockdown easing, everywhere else at 10:30pm on Cowley road was closed or crazy busy. This place had a bit of a wait but, when they said 15 minutes: it was (despite a queue of four). 🍕 Unusually they had three decent veggie pizza options - Vegetarian, Al Fungi, and Vegetaiona (yes: we didn't know how to pronounce it either!) Went for a Vegetaiona pizza 🍕 Can of Apple Tango 🍎🥤 (super rare but they have it, and it's only 5.9g of sugar) + Chips (with sauce). 🍟 Total = around £7. All super tasty, despite the queue. 😋 Rather funnily: Server: "What sauce on the chips?" Me: "Brown sauce." Server: "We don't have that - we only have ketchup, mustard,... and BBQ sauce..?" 🤨😂

Always enjoy my perios. Staff are friendly. My food is delivered hot. On time and correct. Thanks guys.

Food was awful. Burrito was dripping in grease. Couldn’t taste anything else. The deserts were like school canteen food and inedible and everything arrived either in ripped packaging or spilling out of the containers.

It took 1h and 15min to bring 2 pizzas, BOTH COLD ONE WHICH WAS WRONG ORDER - ORDERED SPIC, CAME PLAIN WITB 5 CHUNKS OF BELL PEPPER ON IT AND THE SAUSAGE WRAP AROUND WAS STILL ON GOT STUCK IN MY TEETH. THE DELIVERY GUY WAS WITH A CAR. NEVER AGAIN

I'm not sure if it's just due to Covid and that in "normal" times this is a good sit down service, but my take away chicken wings were probably the worst I've had in Oxford. If you look at my other reviews you'll see I have tried most chicken places. These were bad, dry and tiny.

food was good as usual but i received 3x330ml cans of pepsi when i was expecting the 1.5l bottle i’d wanted :( i understand if they only had cans, i was just hoping they’d give the equivalent to 1.5l as that’s what was on the order

Delivery was pretty good- the food was quite disappointing. Chicken is dry, the buffalo sauce is not really a buffalo sauce, and the Philly steak sandwich is with minced meat! This is not a Philly steak.....

Food was fab, but no buffalo wings came. I rang restaurant and they said they'd send the money back - no problem! Alas, they did not. This is really disappointing.

Not much flavor. Chips were pretty soggy and tasted of (not very good) oil. Burger was overcooked and drenched in mayonnaise. Mexican nachos are store bought tortilla crisps with some sauces on. It is very cheap but there is a reason.

Driver picked up food items on time, it’s less than 2.5mile from restaurant to delivery address, food was scheduled to be delivered at 13:50, got here at 14:40. Cold.

I’m very disappointed, I’ve ordered two whole chickens with lemon and herbs sauce which is not spicy, and they sent them with the most spicy sauce, my wife can’t eat spicy food

We ordered through Uber Eats. One burger came with cheese, when we explicitly asked for just a burger in a bun. We also asked for chicken with no sauce, but it was slathered in what was supposed to be sweet and sour, but was more like sweet chilli. Two portions of Mexican corn were missing. When I called the restaurant, they could not have cared less, referring me to Uber Eats. They said that they had called about the missing corn. We had no call, either on mobile or landline. When I asked if they were going to put their errors right, "no" was the resounding answer. I wish I'd read the reviews on Tripadvisor before ordering a birthday meal from them. The three (of five) meals they did get right were adequate, rather than good or excellent.

the buffalo wings never disappoint!

Food was delicious as usual, and warm. An item was missing from my order, though. when i rang the restaurant to tell them, they blamed it on the driver and told me to contact the driver instead. Neither Just-eat nor the restaurant were able to give me the driver's contact details. I did, however, receive a refund in just-eat credits after complaining to just-eat.

Calm chicken, bad burger and a bit later than quoted for pickup

Order wasn’t correct sent two of the same burger when one was meant to be peri peri hot and not smokey bbq. One of the chips came with maybe around 20 chips in it? Compared to the other which was full. (We ended up sharing, but still we paid for two meal deals). The driver was also not the friendliest, key worker working on the mental health wards it takes us a moment to get out especially when the order is 20 minutes early - 9/10 when we set a time for collection at a hospital it’s because that’s when we free to come and collect! Over all 2.5/5 stars!

Food was delicious and warm, portion size very generous. I appreciate that the restaurant instantly called to let me know my side order is unavailable so i could ask for a suitable substitute of my own choice. Customer service top notch. Delivery driver was so swift and polite. Social distancing measures were complied with. Chips were a little too salty but the texture was very good. Thank you perios

In the menu it said 2 waffles, but there was only one small waffle delivered. Disappointed

This is the worst place ever, the food is nasty and chicken is dry, if you are thinking of eating here avoid at all cost.

I have order Buffalo pizza but they bring me cold margharita.

My boyfriend and I had a takeaway last Friday. He ordered chicken and fries (but there were literally 10 fries) and I went for a philly burger with texan buffalo sauce and sweet potatoes (still 10 pieces). There was no sauce at all,and tasted it not very good. Since that, I ve started feeling unwell and having diarrhoea. I now have infection for food poisoning. I am sorry to leave this negative review, but you need to be very careful with food or you make people feeling sick.

Really disappointing, fries and the sweet potato portions were so small that we could count 10 pieces each. The burger did non ho have the sauce requested.

Terrible food. Tasteless, dry. Purchased two strip meals for my kids and half a chicken for myself. Dissapointed is an understatement. Actually struggling to work out how you can dry chicken out that much in the 10 minutes I had to wait. Chips also cold with the texture of cardboard in fact I'd rather eat cardboard. I would never order from there again. Disgusting.

Very good and doesn’t feel too greasy either

We didn’t get what we ordered and this was a huge disappointment. We were fasting all day and then when our food arrived, they didn’t match our order. The burger flavours were not what we ordered at all. This shows carelessness, unreliability and lack of attention given by staff. I am very disappointed as we did not enjoy our food after being hungry all day.

The food was awful . I ordered 3 burgers& chips . The chips were ok but the burgers was all dripping with grease and one beef burger was like crushed up mince on the inside spread over this wet bread . The texture on all three of the burgers was so mushy & wet from the grease . Jus did not seem cooked at all either that or the hygiene was off . Just pure grease all the way through so so mushy soggy . Did not taste or even look like burgers at all . They were like wet squashed subways . We couldn’t eat them .
