Zizzi - Market Harborough in Harborough

Food was good, but the little details were missing, my Ravioli was served in a cold dish which made the pasta on the outside colder than the pasta in middle. No ambient music just quiet with only a couple of other tables occupied. Okay though.

Zizzis in market harborough was ok. It was my first time trying this chain and enjoyed it enough but I wasn't blown away by it. I had pasta and meatballs and it was a wee bit bland if I am totally honest. The service was a wee bit lacking also but not bad. Just felt the staff were a little over worked which is no fault of their own at all.

First time here and a decent vegetarian selection. Good service too!

Really enjoy both the atmosphere and our food. The lady who served us was nice, she gave us space to choose our food then came back later. Although it was busy, we still felt relaxed. Would definitely go again.

Slow to acknowledge our arrival. Taste was good but pasta overcooked and portions were small especially spaghetti Bolognese, looked more a child's sized portion.

Maybe they need to tell you before you enter that it is card only!;food was great but feel like you are forced to add a tip at the end!

Not been for a couple of years, Zizzis is as good as ever. Enjoyed a fabulous Calzone Carne Picante I asked for less chilli's and I got less chilli's just perfect. GREAT servers. We'll be back..!

Try to call the number but nobody wants to answer the phone calling about 10 times no answer also BAD point for Zizzi is card payments only which is not really great options in case if card not working for some reason you are not able to pay the bill very frustrating

Eight of us dined. Asked for three separate bills at start if the evening. Upon completion we were handed one bill. Complained that we had requested separate billing. The manager was passive aggressive and told us to work out our own individual bills. Then explained that the £25 service charge was outlined on the menu. I pointed out that in the UK we have something called "minimum wage ". I tip when I feel that I have received good service above and beyond what is expected. I don't tip for average service. The food was good but just average. The service was just standard. Overall the eight of us graded the evening and meal 6/10. Its the little things that let Zizzi Market Harborough down. If customers request separate billing what's the issue? The days when restaurants put their own service charges automatically onto your bills are a thing of the past. Pay your staff a reasonable wage so that they are not dependent on free handouts from customers. Customers tip at their own discretion if they feel that they have received good service that they wish to reward. I don't think any of us will be rushing back anytime soon 😟

Serving main before people have finished starter isn't the best idea. Staff appeared under trained and overwhelmed

One of Market Harboroughs treasures. The food is great, well presented at reasonable prices. The bonus comes when you have a voucher to use as well. Two people can eat adequately for £30 on voucher days as we have done on a regular basis.

OK, for a quick lunch. Portions of risotto were small and not many mushrooms but hot and had tastey. Tiramisu was tasteless.

We have visited zizis twice now and both times have been disappointed. Last nights meal was very dry and bland. The dish I chose came with vegetables, there wasnt even a fork full of vegetables. I feel this place is over priced and the food isn’t acceptable for the price.

Casual dining at it's best. Great food reasonably priced. You can feast or just go for a quick tasty bite.

Service is great, but portions have definitely reduced while prices seem to have risen.

Really good from start to finish

We had one amazing server, who was incredibly helpful throughout or meal at Zizzi. However, one of the managers was extremely passive aggressive and rude to my family member, who is autistic, when didn’t like his meal and was too embarrassed to send it back, our waitress convinced him that it was okay, she would get him a menu and he could replace it with something else. Then the manager came over and in a very rude and belittling way, said ‘what was wrong with it’ multiple times, then proceeded to tell other staff members in the restaurant about him sending food back, further spreading the ‘evil’ looks towards our table. This made my family member very uncomfortable and embarrassed and no longer want to order another meal even though they were still hungry. In the end we ended up with a new main course, but by the end of my family member finishing all they wanted to do was leave as they felt like the staff were talking about them and hated them.

The pomegranate spritz was very, very tasty. Pizzas were all nice.

Nice food.. Even better when i use my taste card....

Fast service, very good and fresh food

Monday evening was busy but service was still efficient. Drinks menu limited. Food menu felt like more of a pub menu with a slight Italian twist. I'm still looking for an "authentic" Italian restaurant in the UK that serves a variety wider than pasta and pizza but so far no luck.

Everything was okay, the service was awesome, the food was great, but I put four stars for the atmosphere because the chair was uncomfortable. “Was a bench” and now I have back pain! Otherwise it was okay. I recommend zizzi for everyone who looks for a good time. 👌👌👌By the way I’m Italian and the coffee was water 😵‍💫🤬

Food was lovely although 10 mins after ordering we were told 1 dish was no longer available. Service a little rushed but it was Father's day and the resturant was very busy.

Last table to order on a very quiet night - only 3 or 4 other tables occupied, all of which had food on their table. Ordered a starter to share between 3, which was OK. We all ordered pasta as mains. Arrived about ½ hr later but had clearly been made at same time as starter. Pasta was congealed & cold. Yes, after complaining it was re-made, but it shouldn't have been served in the 1st place. Ours was the only order they were dealing with, so they were hardly busy! Won't be going again

Food is outstanding. Starters are delicious. Full of flavors. Real Italian kitchen. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The environment is cozy and has a few different halls. Prices are barely higher, but you get what you pay for, and drinks are of a higher range of a usual market.

Staff brilliant, shame the menu seems to have gone backwards in terms of the number of options for vegans.

Part of a chain so all food prepacked and portioned. Found portions a little small so left still feeling a bit hungry. Pizzas did look amazing though.

Been way too long since I have ate here and I was really surprised how its improved both in service and food

Out of 11 of us, only 2 meals were good. The others were not acceptable or very hot. We did advise the management who gave us a discount to compensate but still disappointing as it was a birthday celebration and we would have all preferred to have had a great meal.

Overpriced. Food. Service was a bit odd. Not relaxed. I ordered a pint of coke, and was bought a tall glass which had had a small bottle of coke poured into it. Felt scammed. Stick with independents.

Restaurant was nicely busy, lovely atmosphere. It's a family restaurant great for children. Parts of the restaurant the lighting was bright.

Went for a family dinner with my kids and it turned out to be the worst mistake. The lady manager wearing white top took our order and had no idea how to speak. Afterwards she shouted at one of her staff members right in front of the kids. We didn’t even finish the food and left the place immediately. I’ve never had this kind of experience in market Harborough. They really need someone with better behaviour and communication skills.

Excellent food, cheerful and friendly staff, quick service even though it was very busy.

Very nice lunch. The only downside was the restaurant is quite noisy when busy due to an echo effect. Loved how each meal had calorie count next to it.

Just had a meal here and I’ve got to say I have never had such a small portion of food. A lot the restaurants are at it these days. I ordered prawn linguine and I counted 4 prawns and half the amount of tagliatelle you would normally get. I finished my food before my husband did which is a first and I’m still hungry. I have given it a 2 because the food was nice. To charge £15 for that is a complete rip off. These restaurants need to get a grip and stop giving people half portions at an over inflated price

Food and service very good as usual. Lost a star for the drafty table front of house. Had to eat with our coats on!

Childrens menu is a good price. Adults I thought overpriced. Pasta , one of their specials had little taste ...disappointing! Also pork belly was just one slice with a tiny square crackling. Won't return given the prices and quality!

Food was BASIC and service was "what are you talking to me for?" Type of attitude. It was awful. Side of carrots was 1 carrot cut into quarters.... For £4 ! Pizza tasted like a Sainsbury's stonebaked pizza. Would recommend missing Zizzi's and go straight to Pizza Express.

Really nice rustica pizza, generous size... was full after it. Along with the pizza crisps and a brownie. Quite expensive I guess, but alright when ou have a tastecard!! The little one loved his ham pizza too.

Italian style chain restaurant in name only. To be honest this place can only be visited for pizza. The rest of the food is substandard. No basics such as salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar which should be the basis. The dishes are not completely tasted and what is more, they are prepared in advance and reheated. I ordered calamari which was rubbery and tasted like cardboard. Ordered main course - chicken calabrese (three pieces of dry steamed chicken breast stewed and heated, topped with tomato sauce and fries from a bag) and a dessert cheesecake that was terribly sour and had sugar on the tongue at the same time. Someone who has been to Italy and ate there experiences a shock being in this type of place. I definitely not advise.

A bit busy when we were there so a bit slower than hoped for but food good, great vibe in the place and set in a super market town.

Had a £30 voucher to spend, this was sent to me as I had complained about the disgusting treatment I had experienced at Zizzi Fosse Park. We went to Market Harborough as will never return to the Fosse Park one. I booked my table easily online. Service was swift and friendly. The staff all seemed happy and relaxed plus even though the venue was busy nobody looked stressed. Food was quick to come and delicious. Fosse Park could learn a lot from this place.

It was very nice, food very good, we went on a Friday evening at 6.30, and was told that a some of the food was off as they didn't have it which we thought was not very good for Friday evening. But staff were very good. Would go back hopefully they would have plenty of food.

Friday night dinner for two. It was fairly busy but with only one staff at front of house, the lengthy wait to be acknowledged and seated was somewhat disappointing but bearable. Servers were a mixture. Look, I know it's a tough job with low pay, so I always try to be friendly and engaging. Wasted on one girl who clearly didn't want to be there, unresponsive with a forced smile falling off instantly. The manager needs to gently point out that they are likely to earn more in tips by being welcoming and friendly even if they hate being there. Conversely, a Thai (or Filipino?) lady who wasn't our main server was delightful in every way. Now to the food which was really poor and reflected rushed sloppy cooking by the chefs in what must be an indifferent kitchen. The starters were both undercooked and over cooked in equal measure (calamari, batter soft and pale not crispy, barely warm and woefully undercooked and tasteless) and (risotto balls, excessively deep fried and hard with a fairly unpleasant centre which didn't taste of anything) Mains: my friend had the veggie lasagne which came on a hot plate with the contents literally boiling. When it eventually cooled enough to eat, it had become a liquefied mush, totally unpalatable. My dish of king prawn linguine was actually quite good, tasty and spicy with decent texture and sauce. Well done at last! the worst thing is to leave an eaterie feeling disappointment and regret that you chose poorly. Unlikely to go again, with so many great gastro pubs a few minutes drive into the surrounding country it's easy to find good service and excellent real cooking.

Went here for our wedding anniversary and they were fantastic. Food was perfect from starter to desert and was delicious. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommend!

Our experience is always excellent when we dine at Zizzi's but today they went the extra mile . A lovely young lady by the name of Nikita served us and when our bill arrived she asked for our gift voucher code. Unfortunately this wasn't being recognised so instead of dismissing it she sat with us and helped us renew the voucher in between serving other customers with a smile a true gem. We really appreciate all her efforts thank you very much Nikita.

I love the food but have found some of the staff to be quite rude on more than one occasion. With missing items from our order and food not being served together, for what wasn't a large party. Also the fake Italian accents from obviously not Italian staff is off putting. The three stars are for thefood. We will continue to frequent the St Peters Square restaurant in Leicester.

Offering a good range of pizza and pasta in a welcoming restaurant. We were a large party but service was really good with little waiting. The food was all really good and not too expensive. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff very helpful.

Had pizza which was great side salad what was not so great I can put a few lettuce leaves in a bowl with a dressing and a bit of hard cheese for a lot less than £4 .. staff were very helpful and pleasant but not so much the bowl of lettuce

Great-newly refurbished, informal dining, great pizza and friendly service. Just here for the night but seems to be a popular place. Lively so not for quiet, romantic night out! On main street easy to find, big premises but nice ambiance -relaxed.Recommend the orawn skewer starter and the piccante rustica pizza. The latter is enough for two!

Service was good, but food very bland

Food server was friendly, certain dishes were off the menu which we were not made aware of until we ordered. Fries were dry the salad was served swimming in water and a salad dressing. It was soggy and unappetising. Nobody checked on us whilst we were eating. No worth the money and disappointing.
