Came here for lunch with a friend. The service was friendly but they were really rushed off their feet and really needed an extra pair of hands. Many food to go orders with pickups seemed to be a priority over those eating in. Food was good but toppings on our pizza and pasta could have been more

Catch up with a friend, fancy Italian food so went for Zizzi. Ordered: King Prawn Spiedini Cheese garlic bread Prawns linguine Chocolate cheese cake The food was okay, just simple tasting food for a reasonable price.

Visited here as we had a gift card. We are a couple in our 70s and I use a stick. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food was good although we did think the toppings on the rustica pizza were sparse. When it came to tipping, the manager Greg refused it as he was only doing his job, very commendable. We then gave it to the waiter who on being told we were celebrating our wedding anniversary put a candle in our dessert, nice touch. We will definitely go here again.

Loved the new dishes on the menu and all the food was excellent. Our server, Morgan, was brilliant and really added to the experience with the way she looked after us- thank you!

Recently visited Zizzi Kingston and had a great experience quick , attentive service and welcoming staff . Waitress was great black curly hair and continuously made sure we had a great time . Lovely decor too 👍

Tasty food, good service, unfortunately prices are too high especially for small desserts and small dishes.

Came in here on 13th february booked and greeted by a manager who frankly had an attitude like she couldnt care less if we were in there. Garlic bread had oil dripping off it, meatballs had too much garlic were too salty and a rubbery like they had been frozen (doesnt take long to make a meatball). I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. If senior managers could read this review that'd be great because maybe they can do something about it.

Really enjoyed coming here with my family last night, food came out of quickly and we were recommended our dishes by the waitress. I would definitely come again.

The manager Gregg was very rude and could hardly speak English, very rude when explaining I couldn’t use my taste card for 4 people, as per his discretion when other Zizzi’s in Hampton Court and Bexleyheath have let me. Don’t take your family there

I had a very upsetting experience from Zizzi Kingston last night. Ordered on deliveroo, and when we received the order, one main was missing. When I called the restaurant, the man’s response was “Oh yeah, we forgot to pack that one but you’ll have to take that up with Deliveroo, not us”. When I questioned why this was Deliveroo’s problem instead of theirs, he immediately passed me to his manager, Magda. Magda herself couldn’t have been less empathetic, repeatedly telling me that she didn’t pack the order so it wasn’t her fault, showing no understanding that although it wasn’t personally her fault, a manager is responsible for the actions of their team - this coming from myself who also manages a team. There was absolutely no remorse shown from her for the fact that my nephew now didn’t have dinner (his was the only pasta dish ordered, as he doesn’t like the pizza from Zizzi, so we couldn’t even share our pizzas with him), I never once heard the words “I’m sorry”. Instead everyone, including the manager, kept passing the blame to someone else. I’m absolutely appalled at the inhumane service, and will never be giving any business to Zizzi Kingston again.

I often go with friends for lunch as the food and service are good. But we were there the other day, had ordered and were awaiting food when we noticed new people arriving were turned away despite only maybe ten tables busy. It got a bit chilly and the toilets were a very cold. It transpired only when we asked that they had a problem with the plumbing and no hot water. The heating was off. You’d of thought they’d offer customers there complimentary hot drinks at least. It really was chilly and no apology. Food and service good, building needed attention and a plumber

Food is ok but expensive for what it is and the restaurant has no heating and is cold. Service is poor and staff not overly helpful. Waited a long time for a hot chocolate which wasn’t very nice. Won’t be coming here again.

Ordered the sausage lasagna and I was very disappointed, dry, burnt and tasteless. It used to be our go to for a quick meal and lived their three layered lasagna but the quality of food and service is consistently disappointing.

Update 04.01.2024: came again on a rainy night and things got better again. The fresh truffle pasta was back to like the first time I had it. Update 06.05.2023: came again and ordered the truffle pasta but this time it not only had a different pasta shape but the nice truffle taste is gone too. So therefore it’s now back again to a ordinary 2 star Italien chain restaurant what a shame I usually stay away from Italien chain restaurants but since zizzi has the new fresh pasta menu I decided to give it a try and must say the truffle and pancetta pasta dish is indeed very nice.

It's my favourite place to eat in Kingston. The pasta dishes, pizzas, coffees, desserts and cocktails are simply amazing. This time we were served by waiters Guilherme and Steven, who went through the effort of getting us exactly the table we wanted and both carrying loads of character and making sure evering is perfect. The manager on shift was Eleanor and not only she made sure everything is ok on a number of occasions, but helped us personalize our dishes so they suit our taste and preference.will definitely be coming back and recommending the place. The team make it happen! EDIT: 4 years later. I just came to leave a good review when I found my old one. Well, things haven't changed. For a long time, the manager was an Irish guy. He is great - the level of customer service is 10/10. Last night, it was someone else. And it was New Years Eve. And guess what? They were great again! I was the annoying customer that ordered 15 minutes before close , and then got a dessert for takeaway. Sorry guys and thank you for the dinner! The manager was as polite and helpful as anyone could ever wish him to be! Food was great! Will keep coming back! Keep doing what you're doing!

Prices are noticeably more moderate away from central London which has become a dining disaster zone. Service here was good and the food not at all bad but I want to point out one thing - a thing close to my heart (and stomach) in a variety of locations. The menu proudly proclaims that the pizza (illustrated) has 'three times as much' pepperoni as before. Really? What did it look like before? To be clear, it was a nice pizza but with one third of the pepperoni it would have been a mean offering. Why are pizza restaurants so tight with their toppings?

Always had good service and good food here. Tesco clubcard boost for food too. Also usually good for vegans / someone with a dairy allergy.

Not amazizzing but friendly staff service, average food, great location. It's a busy corner spot just of Kingston market but so few Italian eateries around we though we would try it out. To be fair for a chain, it is not bad but the taste was a little bland and could do with some seasoning. Tke kings prawn starters were while calimari was a little dry and bland. Our main on king prawn (4 prawns!) Linguine and Beef and Chickb calzone, well presented but need plenty of seasoning to bring the taste out. At the end not too bad. Reasonable price, with very pleasant service from the over worked staff.

Really good food and a good service

Zizzi as a chain serves great food but the service and the atmosphere varies from location to location and the Kingston branch isin't that great unfortunately. You will still get good food :)

Grabbed a spot of lunch but let down bu the service. Short staffed it seemed to had to wait a bit. Only two of us so only two meals but one came first before the drinks. Then had to ask for the second maybe 15 minutes later. Generally a disappointing experience.

Really disappointed. My partner and I came here for dinner and the service was terrible. The staff were slow, unattentive and disinterested. Our food took an age to arrive - we spent two hours at the restaurant. Food was lovely, but we'll never come back. Tables weren't cleared, nobody took our empty glasses after we'd finished our drinks. Bathrooms were a mess and it was clear they hadn't been checked the entire time we'd been there. I tried to pay with a gift card and nobody knew how to process the payment. I had to tell two different staff members that it would be a contactless transaction. One team member returned and told me their manager had said the card was invalid. My partner explained for a third time that it was a contactless payment, and it went through seamlessly when finally processed in that way. So disappointing - have had excellent service in other branches.

Impressively bad service, took two hours from start to finish. At least in Wetherspoons they clear glasses off of tables. Toilets were gross too. Food good though, pretty tasty, I feel bad for the chefs surrounded by such incompetence.

Reasonable food let down with atrocious service. Had to wait 30 minutes for our order to discover that the order was wrong. Was given the salmon risotto rather than a mushroom one. Had to wait a further 15 minutes for the correct food to turn up at which point any prospect of eating together had gone. Staff are very slow. Tried to pay the bill via the table QR code but the bill had the wrong main written down. Asked a server if they could correct it and for us to pay. 10 minutes later we still hadn't been able to pay. Had to go up and say "we've asked to pay, if you won't take our money we'll just leave". Really shouldn't have come to this. Disgusting service. Won't be going back again. Other customers in the restaurant were also clearly disgusted with the service. Food was decent when it came although not a very big serving of risotto

Service is joke. Waited for 40 minutes to starters arrive. Server with long hair lied to us by saying “ I will be checking your orders” and she vanished. And starters arrived only after 20 mins later. Not recommended at all.

Waiting time for a table less than 5 min. Place is dated and need a refurbishment. Staff is friendly but that doesn't compensate for an average horribly overpriced. £14 to 16 bowl of pasta.

Decent restaurant with variety of dishes. Ambiance is warm and welcoming as well. Portion size to cost is not the best...

Terrible service, coffee machine wasn't working so the cocktail's we ordered couldn't be made, food was tasteless and every single waitress who had long hair, did not have it tied back. Zizzi has really gone down hill and I will not be returning

We just had lunch at Zizzi, one adult with two girls( 11 years old and 8 years old). We ordered one lasagna and one spaghetti from the adult menu and two starters to share. The waitress who took our order memorised our order without writing it down or recorded it on the pad, nor confirmed the order back to us. So, we got served two portions of adult lasagna instead of one. I understand that misunderstanding things happens, although personally, I think she should confirm the order at the beginning. BUT, the worst part is that the waitress just came to us and said: I'm very sure that you ordered two lasagna. So, you don't want it?🙃🙃 Really?? No comments on this attitude regardless of the issue.... In the end, I still chose to pay a 7.5% service charge as another young lady took care of our table in a polite manner.

The Pasta is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS but the pizza is a thin as paper it took 35 minutes just for pasta and pizza.

Booked a table, but rude waitress said kitchen was backed up, she pointed to an unprepared table and said we could sit there but it would be a long wait. Strange as it was early and the restaurant was half empty. She never even asked the name of the booking. Felt so unwelcome we left.

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant just after 12 midday, we ordered wine, a starter and main course. The wine came soon after, but we waited about twenty minuets for the starter with some items missing and three quarters of an hour for the main course. My wife's pizza came without the extra toppings she had asked for, and my calzone left a lot to be desired. The only saving grace was the very understanding waitress. She removed the charge for the items missing and the service charge. But we will never go there again after that experience. It was overpriced too.

Awful. Used to come here quite often but haven’t been for a few years, has gone completely down hill since then and we wont be visiting again. The service was awful, the worst I’ve ever received in a restaurant. Moody staff who clearly didn’t want to be there, leaving tables dirty and didn’t smile once when taking our order, bringing meals, our bill, etc. Food was below average. Salt coming out in huge chunks, from a dirty grinder which had old peppercorns in it. Served my pizza on a wooden board which had a huge crack in it - should be thrown away - completely unhygienic. Service was extremely slow even though they had enough staff. Took them over 20 minutes to ask if we wanted any drinks. The lady serving us served food to the next table and they had to ask her for cutlery as she hadn’t given them any 🙈 table’s weren’t cleared after people left. Just awful service by miserable people who clearly didn’t want to be there. It was my birthday meal too, what a huge disappointment.

Don't trust Cora , she's going to scam you out of vouchers for herself later , great service by the girl that unfortunately left too early , very on the ball the rest of the team well let's say we were still waiting 10 mins for our bill after having to find one of three hiding in the corner !

Strongly avoid! We visited last Friday and literally noticed a mouse running from one corner to the other. Alerted the waitress who came and saw the mouse hiding behind the chair but her response was “ there is nothing I can do about it” and simply opened the door with the hope that it would just magically decide to leave. Shocking experience to say the least! Even asked for full payment of meal and drinks. Never again!

Disappointed as I was unable to use a voucher for a free side. Was told that it couldn’t be used without the purchase of a full priced item on the menu, but this is not stated in the terms of the voucher. Have since used the voucher successfully at another zizzi’s.

Visited here at the weekend. Amazing pizza. Best in Kingston. Great atmosphere and great service. It’s the place for pizza in Kingston!

In the past couple of years we have had disappointing experiences here and vowed not to return. But we are glad we gave it another chance and went last week, they seem to have addressed the problems and found solutions. The food was tasty and hot, the service improved and we had a good lunch

Very friendly greeting, nice ambience, and nice table, but went so downhill after that. Service so slow it was better to order online, and I had to get salt and pepper myself. Prices are very high. Signage to toilets terrible. Feels like this place is surviving on the brand, but for how much longer I don't know.

Had our hen meal here, had the pork with potato and was ment to be carrots, Service was good but food wasn't worth the money. Left disappointed 😞

Came with family for dinner, got told to come back after an hour as they didn’t have food and they were preparing food again as lunch time was busy. Went back after an hour sat down and ordered our food the service was horrible, the man the was serving us didn’t seem like he wanted to help anybody, he looked so miserable and had no manors at all. So many people walked in and they turned them down saying they have bookings but half of the restaurant was empty. Overall such a bad experience won’t go again. Zizzi HQ should look into this, how can you be turning every single person down when there was free tables available.

Every time I come to this place with my mother they tell us it’s booked up and they don’t have no availability even though there is an upstairs sections also and the restaurant was so empty. I don’t think I will go again and get turned down

Popped in with my son Aleks for pizza on Thursday early evening. Had garlic bread followed by a pepperoni pizza and a meat feast. Amazing quality and a lovely glass of red wine. Staff and management amazing

Very lovely staff and service. The waitress Emmy was lovely and the food was so good. Tried the bruschetta and garlic meatballs for starters, spaghetti bolognese and the new truffle carbonara for mains and to finish our meal, we tried the biscoff calzone and chocolate melt for dessert. I would rate the food an 8/10 I really enjoyed the meal but next time would substitute the pasta in the carbonara for spaghetti, as I believe it would be better that way! The service 10/10 the waitress Emmy was amazing. Will come back again, hopefully.

We visited last night for my dads birthday and it was really lovely. Service great with lovely waiters, food was really lovely (amazing pizzas), great choice of wine and desserts too. The restaurant itself is lovely and clean and modern. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Went to Zizzi Kingston on Saturday night and I was quite disappointed because needed to use the toilet, but it smelt that bad I couldn’t use it, and when speaking to a member of staff. They said really. I will tell the manager. Disappointed and won’t rush back

The Zizzi in Kingston is a long-standing Italian restaurant in this area. Great for families and those looking for good portioned meals. Service was prompt and really friendly.

Excellent service!!! We had a lunch party at Zizzi Kingston this Saturday. The restaurant was very busy but the staff was very attentive and very professional for our needs. The manager Emma took an amazing good care of us, and other staff members named Zack, Enrique, Anna and another waitress made our experience unbelievably fantastic! Also the chefs delivered an amazing food, very tasty and very good portions! We definitely come back because is one of the best restaurant with the best staff in Kingston!

Emma who is the General Manager was simply amazing! Super customer service from the get go! She took great care of us and made the whole experience so much better! Merci beaucoup Emma!

Visited yesterday as a family of 7. Service was good but the menu has changed and there are only two vegan pizzas now (including a vegan margarita). Super disappointing. I ended up having one of the spicy meat pizzas, without the meat and mozzarella, with vegan cheese and vegan meatballs. It was ok but not as good as the old vegan choices. Zizzi have more options for plant based people! You've taken a massive step backwards!

We have come to this zizzi’s several times whilst shopping in Kingston, it’s a lovely restaurant, attentive welcoming staff, great food and wine. Highly recommend

Went here today to the Kingson upon thames, restaurant. Ordered drinks starter and two mains. One drink came incorrect so had to be changed. There was a really long wait for the starters the when it came one was incorrect asked for no onions on the garlic bread but it came with it on. My wife ordered risotto for main, I ordered a chicken salad. I was later advised that they had run out of risotto. Five minute later was advised there was no avocado for the salad. My wife had change the risotto to the meatless meatball calzone, which she left most of as it was bland and was pretty disgusting. Long wait between starter and main also. Overall badly organised, terrible service, lack of choice due to lack of provisions.. probably the worst zizzi's I have been to.

Our family visited this Restaurant tonight. The food and drinks were reasonable, however the service was poor. The bill had so many items on it which were not ordered by us. My husband pointed this out and they brought an amended bill which we paid.Despite the poor service we even paid a tip.However once my husband had left , the Manageress came over to me to say she wanted more money as the second bill was also wrong. When I asked her why they were messing us up she said 'excuse me very rudely and left in a huff with no apology.

Amazing day with my 2 and 3 year old. We don't go out much and decided that we can treat ourself. The food was delicious and the staff were professional and kind. They bought the kids meals first and even when my 2 year old was fussy, they came to giggle and were kind Great food great staff great atmosphere Totally recommended

We visited weekdays dinner time, was pretty quiet. Weekend may need book, we visited Sat evening it was fully booked. 😂😂 generally staff are friendly and helpful. Gentlemen staff was great help and friendly. 👍👍 We enjoyed rustic pizza at Zizzi. This brunch made great pizza 🍕 we loved it! And the place as clean also we tired fist time Tiramisu in here. Very delicious 😋 enjoyed time in here!

In general the food is good! I would recommend going there to have pizza! We were given the wrong item and wrong drinks, but the waiter had quickly given us the right one.

We returned for another lunch even after a disappointing previous visit. Sadly, again, the food took forever to arrive and was not worth the wait. It was tasteless and disappointing. Twice in a row is not a good sign and you really reluctantly pay the bill for a less than mediocre meal. Staff start attentive but they trains off too. I hope they bounce back from whatever current situation they are in as they did use ti be very good

Dependable, family favourite of the Italian chains. Pizzas were a knockout. Some sites are less appealing than others and food quality can differ but overall we had a really good time (table of 14) with great service too.

My friends and all got sick from eating here. My friends lasagne was cold on the inside and had to be reheated... I got zizzis special which was the meatballs. It looked like slop. You didn't get any meatballs it was so over cooked it had mushed into the pasta!! We should have returned our food and said something but we were starving and the staff were very busy. No excuse for the condition of food, not being cooked properly. The only positive was the garlic bread and fries we had....we didn't finish our mains of course it was disgusting. I would avoid this place, all of us were up throughout the night with stomach pains and vomiting. Never again.

Lovely venue, nice decor inside and great atmosphere. Food is delicious and has great prices. Staff are very friendly. I've tried the calzone, lasagne and prawn tagliatelle. All delicious. Also they take taste card and have good offers on the millionaires club app.
