I was served by Kenneth on my birthday at this Zizzi. We were given quick and efficient service by him, and he made sure that everything was comfortable for us. He is a great member of this team and knows exactly how to look after his customers. We come to this branch a lot and are never disappointed. I recommend this Zizzi to anyone in the area.

Amazingly, my first time in Zizzi. It was a Sunday night and the place wasn't busy, but Tara, my server, was great. Polite, smiley, attentive without overdoing it. Nicest I've had in a large chain restaurant. Food was good too and came really quickly.

We arrived for a performance, I looked for a place around the theater with a gluten-free option. I'm so glad I found Zizzi. Nice interior, the free pizza is also very delicious, as well as the cake, which was completely free of everything and we are glad to have met Natalia! You were very kind and helpful to us and made our dinner truly unforgettable, thank you for everything, Nati!

Great food but the waitress was inattentive. I made eye contact with her several times to indicate that we were ready to order more food, but she ignored us completely. As a result we paid our bill with another server and left without tipping.

I have been to a few Zizzi restaurants before and always had good food and service. This restaurant was appalling from beginning to end. 1. arrived at our booked time was seated but for the next 25 minutes we were ignored and even when I asked for someone to take our order the guy just said can’t you see we are busy and then after another 10 mins had to go and get a waiter and drag them to the table. 2. Giving the order was painful as the guy couldn’t understand us which was probably why we got the wrong garlic bread starter. Lucky we didn’t have an allergy in the group. 3. Drinks arrived after the starters and only when we chased for it. The wine glasses were actually aperol spritz glasses as they had ran out of wine glasses. 4. I like my food but the wagyu meatballs I had were dry and tasteless. I also think the dish had been out into a microwave to heat it up. I did look for pepper as the sauce was bland but there wasn’t anyone and no server to help. 5. My partners carbonara dish was dry and bland. Hot on inside and cold on edges. She had about 2 mouthfuls and didn’t eat anymore. 6. No one checked on our meal at all. The guy who cleared out plates couldn’t honestly be bothered or attempt customer service. 7. Had to again chase someone to do our bill so we could leave. 7. The tip was automatically added to the bill and was paid. It would have been zero but couldn’t take it off the bill. I won’t be back to a Zizzi in a hurry.

I really hate to write a review like this as I used to work for Zizzi but considering I understand how the place is meant to run, I feel obliged to. I visited for lunch with a group of friends and it took the staff about half an hour to even acknowledge our table. When they eventually came they had to take our food and drink order at the same time and it felt rushed. I completely understand when a restaurant is short staffed and how stressful it can be, but the manager kept accepting more and more tables into the restaurant which likely were not all bookings. The food came promptly and was very nice which I want to give credit for. However, it took the staff ages to clear our table.I should also mention that it is the rules at Zizzi that only managers serve allergy dishes and the waiter that served my dish (I’m an allergy sufferer) was not the manager due to his uniform and forgot who actually had the allergy on my table- this is not really acceptable. We had to ask twice to ‘sort out’ our bill as I requested, and after a very long time a member of staff just dumped the actual bill on the table (we were hoping to use student discount). After we received the bill we noticed service charge was added which I know from working at Zizzi is standard where there is a table of more than 6 people. However, service was not present at all, no check backs, nothing, and I think they should have recognised that. The bill also included burrata which my friend never received. After getting the bill we had to ask many times again to physically pay and to use our student discount. The thing that was most annoying about our experience was the fact we came to London for a day out and excepted to come for a short stop for lunch. We ended up staying in the restaurant for almost 2 hours having only had 1 course. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such bad service and its left me really disappointed in a company I used to pride myself in working for :(

Do you think you know the Zizzi chain? I did – I had visited them in various locations over the years. This latest trip to Central London upgraded my opinion which was already at reasonably good. Staff - We had a meeter / greeter / seater who whisked me to my bench – The place was large, and they located me in a sensible spot with an expansive view of the open kitchen – its chefs creating pizzas and skilfully throwing pasta and sauce around in frying pans. My server was swift and pleasant with a genuine smile. The staff training must be way above average, especially for central London – This was near Tottenham Court Road with plenty of competition from the Arcade food hall next door. The food deliverer asked if I needed anything to help the meal along – again swift and effective. And the manager seemed present, fast and observant. 10/10 for the human element. The menu is expansive but runs on familiar Italian lines – long rustic pizzas on wooden boards, garlic bread, pasta with luxury sauces, etc. Value - I was looking to see how little I was going to eat and spend as, pre my theatre matinee, I did not want to overdo it. I chose the classic Rustica pizza - £15 and a coke with ice and lemon - £4. The pizza looked pretty with rosemary liberally sprinkled over the round delight. I got the heat from the chilli oil, the smoky tang of the sausage, the protein threads from the ham and the rest of the ingredients fighting for the attention of my taste buds – all on a thin crust with a slightly sweet note. Great. Place - This venue, at the bottom of an office block, 2 minutes from Tottenham Court Road tube station looked 2 or 3 storeys high with local graphics covering one wall, a pile of log ends 25 foot tall around the huge pizza oven and a tree in the middle with orange autumnal sycamore leaves. The tables were made of thick wood and whole place was enormous. At 1PM on a September Saturday it was at 40% of capacity, and the background chatter was pleasant. I do not know what it would be like on a Friday lunch time with buzzing office workers talking excitedly about their weekend plans. Thoughts - I was impressed by the staff’s energy, the kitchen show, and the value as well as quality of the food – Flavour, Value and Service. Recommended.

Wanted a bite to eat and ended up here, there was plenty of seating available but had to wait a while to get a table. Took a while for the waiter to come to us, drinks took longer than expected to arrive. The food was lovely and all piping hot . Cocktails we chose were on point and moreish.

Didn’t notice the small cashless sign on entry. Tried to pay in cash when we had finished dining. Queried with staff what would have happened if I hadn’t got a card with me, was informed they staff are required to use their personal cards and take the cash themselves. What a terrible employer, is that even legal?

Perfection! Place, food and view! But this review is for FARNAZ, she was the loveliest! Her service went far and above the minute we stepped in! Catered to us, our friends and our baby as a professional, incredibly warm and friendly, sweet and helpful! First time being at Zizzi and bringing our daughter to London so thank you for making it so special🤍Definitely recommend and ask for Farnaz 🤍

A large restaurant close to Tottenham Court Road station in a nice square of various restaurants. There is seating inside and outside. Staff were friendly and welcoming on entry. We were seated quickly and tables were clean and the restaurant looked well presented. Service however was slow and the waiter we had was not the best. We had to repeat our order several times before it was eventually put through. We could see food being prepared in front of us and I felt this gave the place a nice vibe. The food was alright but nothing special, fine for the prices. We did have to ask for the bill several times as well. Overall though it has a nice light atmosphere. They do also often offer a good value set menu option

I can any I have lived in London all.mynlife and by far thus was the best experience I have ever had ,first time at zizzi and normally I am really fussy ,but it was spot on the best service Farnaz was so attentive and helpful ,a real credit to the zizzi family

Had a wonderful visit today with a group of friends and their toddler. We had exceptional service from Farnaz. She was super attentive, friendly and went above and beyond in her service. The food was excellent, good portions and quality. The childrens menu was great value. We will definitely come again and would recommend if you are in the area.

Visited Zizzi for the first time today, very pleasant and cozy atmosphere inside. The wonderful Dita greeted me and very quickly found me the perfect table. I was served by Kemi and everything was just as great and fast. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy. Despite the location, it is not very noisy and busy. I recommend!🫶🏻

The lasagne is amazing. The Strawberry mocktail lost its sweetness very quickly so wasn't enjoyable. It'd be better to get sprite next time. They were able to split the bill between a group fairly easy, so that was great - BUT do make sure you're not overpaying!!

As someone with gluten and dairy intolerance I always choose Zizzis as they have a great selection of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian choices. My boyfriend and I went for valentines dinner and they made sure everything he ordered was also gluten free incase I wanted to share which was such a lovely surprise and great service. The cocktails and wine are also delicious! I have been to the Central St.Giles branch many times and am always well catered for and the staff are always lovely. We recently went for dinner and our waitress Natalia was amazing. She was very good at her job as well as being fun and friendly. I am a huge Zizzis fan! I will always recommend it and come back again and again.

Rather expensive for the toppings on the pizzas and the thin thickness of the dough. However, the kindness and humor of the waitresses, especially Natalia, made us have a great time!

Food is very nice but however the men's toilets are very eerie and dark. The lights are broken and you have to go down some really sketchy stairs. There is a door on the way down that says 'Nothing to see here' and is very creepy. They also tried to charge us extra than what we were meant to. Overall the food is nice but the facilities and staff could be better.

Manager's greeting is non existent, as if we were intruding.No smile , no thank you.Food fried and baked came first than the simple salad (no meat in) ordered. No apologies for the smaller simple order coming late. Not returning to this specific place until the manager learns courtesy and appreciation for the customers .

I visited with friends and upon arrival the place was very busy and unfortunately, service staff was very disorganized. quite some time passed from being seated until our drinks order was taken, and some of our group had to place their orders several to receive it. waiters and waitresses were friendly but seemingly understaffed. the food was average. It was tasteful and a generous portion size, but not standing out. we had a proper meal and in terms of food quality and range of options, the restaurant is good value for money and serves a broad variety of tastes & likings.

Always enjoy our visits to Zizzi. Food is good and reasonable prices. We sat outside as ax warm day. Comfortable seating and plenty of space. Great service from Natalia.

Our experience was terrible, it took 10 minutes for us to be seated as no one came over to us. Once seated it took a further 15 for us to be asked if we wanted a drink. Once this was done it took a further 25 minutes for our food order to be taken to then find the male waiter hardly spoke or understood any English....at this point I asked him if he could get another member of staff to come over that did understand....luckily I did because we wanted to order off of the set menu of which he hadn't done....Once the lady took our order we waited 10 minutes for our starters of which part of the mozzarella garlic was all burnt underneath then we waited 30 minutes for our mains to come up. Overall our experience was appalling and I was very disappointed as this was my 3rd time and most likely my last. I feel your new staff need proper training or they need someone shadowing over them as there was lots of other people complaining on Saturday afternoon as well.

An attractive and airy Zizzi's slightly off the main shopping stretch. The carbonara we had was good, and our server Natalia was really pleasant and looked after us well. I'd definitely eat there again when I'm in that part of town.

We had a lovely meal at St Giles Zizzi. Natalia was our waitress and she was very friendly, efficient, attentive and engaged brilliantly with our group. Two negatives - the Seabass salad was on the small side, and you have stopped taking Tastecard. This is actually a false economy for you as we would come more often, and spend way more than we save!!

Great food! And fast and sweet service. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the restaurant are poor and it affects the atmosphere because we had a hard time talking to each other.
