Unacceptable Health Hazard - Glass in Food! This was the most dangerous dining experience I’ve ever had. We found glass in our pizza at Rossopomodoro Covent Garden. Yes, glass! One of the group eating a pizza actually bit down on the glass, and it broke inside their mouth, it was horrifying. This is not just dangerous—it’s a massive health threat. Thankfully, no severe injuries, but there could have been. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, the solution offered was acceptable on the surface, but it didn’t address the seriousness of the issue. How can anyone trust food here knowing glass could be in it? This isn’t just bad service—it’s reckless. Avoid this place at all costs. Your safety and health are worth far more than this.

We found this place walking through the Seven Dial on our first day in London. We finally got to try and it and (chef’s kiss) it was incredible! We were greeted warmly by Armando at the door. Shreyansh was a fantastic waiter. He brought us the pizzas fast and piping hot. Would definitely recommend the margarita and diavola! We started with two pizzas and they were so good that we got a 3rd. The limoncello was a special drink to end the dinner!

Good pizza, that’s it. Music is so loud you couldn't even talk at the table. The worst thing about the dinner however was the service and behavior of the manager (?) I witnessed the scene in which he shouted “stop talking, you have to order” to a couple. I have read other reviews that talk about the rudeness of this person and I can only confirm it. Awful experience.

We have had a terrible experience, despite indicating "not gluten friendly" on the door, they have literally kicked us out of the restaurant because my daughters and I have celiac disease. I have never been treated worse in a restaurant in my life.

I recently visited Rossopomodoro, a beautiful Italian bistro located in the heart of the town. My family and I stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening, and it was a truly delightful experience. Our server, Rudi, was fantastic from the moment we sat down. Rudi brought the place to life with his enthusiasm and energy, he checked in at just the right intervals, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

Great restaurant. Rudi and the other staff were welcoming and enthusiastic, important traits in such a busy restaurant. I did not get the name of the young woman who sorted our booking but she was amazing as well. Given how busy they were they probably don’t need the advertising but they are great. I recently visited Rossopomodoro in Covent Garden and decided to try their pizza with artichokes. While the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, my experience was slightly mixed, though mostly enjoyable. The pizza itself was well-made and lived up to expectations in terms of texture and authenticity. The dough was perfectly soft yet slightly crisp on the edges, and the artichokes were flavorful and fresh, adding a lovely earthy depth to the dish. However, there was a slight hiccup with the condiments. We had specifically expected truffle mayo as an accompaniment, but instead, they served garlic mayo. This small substitution felt a bit deceptive, as though they were trying to pass it off unnoticed. While it wasn't a huge deal, it was a touch disappointing. To their credit, our waiter was fantastic. He quickly acknowledged the mistake and offered a sincere apology, which softened the situation. His attentive and friendly service throughout the meal really elevated the experience and left a positive impression. Another highlight was the wine selection. The wine paired beautifully with the meal, balancing the flavors of the pizza perfectly. Additionally, our seating was ideal—cozy yet spacious, with a lovely view of the vibrant Covent Garden buzz outside. Overall, despite the small setback with the mayo, Rossopomodoro delivered a satisfying dining experience. The high-quality pizza, excellent wine, and stellar service outweighed the minor disappointment. I would certainly consider returning, though I might double-check any specialty extras next time!

Lovely afternoon lunch. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Both the starters and main courses were enjoyed by everyone in our group of 3. This was our 2nd time visiting and we will definitely be back again.

The food was so good! My dad is passionate about Tiramisu and said it was one of the bests he's had. I had the vegan options and they were great. But the best part was the service: Vittorio and Armando were so friendly, smiling and gad such a good energy. I loved the Christmas decorations on the outside. Also can't recommend enough having a limoncello at the end of your meal!

Average food, some dishes came cold, drinks had to be asked for 3x and came after the food, plates were taken away before everyone could finish their food so felt rushed, waitress said “can we give you the bill now” before we could finish our drinks (which came late). All in all, disappointing tourist trap.

My family and I stopped in a couple of hours before closing. Francesco was great—very helpful and welcoming, and he didn’t make us feel rushed at all. My mom and I are gluten free, and we split a pizza and pasta. Both were fantastic!!! I’ll go out of my way to eat here again when I get back to London.

I was really looking forward to it after reading the reviews, but I was disappointed as it did not meet my expectations. The pizza was baked sweetly and the dough lacked saltiness, making it a lackluster pizza.

I visited ROSSOPOMODORO by myself, but my experience didn’t lack company! Vittorio is an amazing and charismatic waiter who really took care of me as a guest! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and really welcoming, everyone is smiley and friendly, which makes you want to smile yourself 🫶 Additionally the food is really delicious! I felt extremely comfortable and I am sure I will come back again.

We booked a table for a birthday. The food was great and atmosphere lively. A little loud but as I was out with the family we fitted right in. The surface was amazing. Our main server (Rudy) always had a smile and check on us regularly; which was appreciated as we were a table of 8. The woman who brought out our meal also had an amazing smile, easy to talk to so we could shuffle plates to get the food we ordered. Overall a really lovely experience

We just visited the Covent Garden branch. I've ordered a pizza and asked for some grated parmesan on the side. The waiter brought the pizza saying "pizza capriciosa with parmesan shavings". I thought this was weird as that was not what I asked for, but thought maybe it's for free! My friend asked if she could have some mayo (normal mayo like you would ask for ketchup), they brough her some. What a surprise when I saw on the receipt I had been charged £2.95 for the parmesan shavings I did not ask for. I did challenge the parmesan shavings, saying that this was not what I asked for and shouldn't be charged for it; the waiter kept repeating the same thing saying the parmesan was on the pizza. I ended up giving up as the waiter was clearly not listening when I ordered nor understanding when I explained their mistake and could see this was going nowhere. Then I saw I had been charged £1.95 for a baked garlic mayo, which was not what my friend asked (she just asked if she could get some mayo - the kind of mayo you ask for along with ketchup). I basically got charged almost £5 for things I did not order. Useless to say the staff should be better trained to understand what customers are asking instead of charging them on extras. I will not be back.

A pretty average Italian place in London. Portions were filling and the vibes were cosy. Our group was just disappointed by the service as the waiters doubled up on a lot so kept interrupting us and we were pressured to leave as they apparently kick people out at 9:30pm even though they "close" at 11pm.

Can't comment on the food - we sat there for 15 mins desperately trying to catch a waiters eye to order food and drink. I understand they were busy but eventually we just gave up and left as we were going to the theatre and the girls on the table next to us told us that they had waited ages for food after they ordered.

We had dinner this evening at this Italian place. My son had penne with tomato sauce and we adults had pizza. Delicious tomato pasta and the real Neapolitan pizza with a high crust and excellent quality products. The tiramisu was also very good! Compliments to all the staff: Vittorio served us, very sweet and attentive to requests, especially from the little ones. Thank you very much for making us feel at home.
