Zizzi (Cardinal Walk) in City of London, Westminster

The reason i have given the food 3 star is that my pasta dish was very oily and not especially hot. I know that I should have complained. Service while very prompt, I personally do not like plates being removed from the table before the whole party have finished eating. Please don't do this.

Friends& food, a wonderful combination!

Upon arrival at the restaurant in the middle of the afternoon, we were greeted by the staff who informed us that we could only have a table for one hour due to a booking. Despite being a family with two young children, we agreed to the time constraint on the condition that we would be served promptly. Unfortunately, the service fell short of our expectations. It took 20 minutes for us to even be acknowledged and another 5 minutes for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, the mains were brought out in a disorganized manner, with some dishes arriving before others and significant delays between each one. The young waitress who attended to our table appeared impatient and uninterested. She rolled her eyes while taking our orders and didn't seem particularly helpful throughout the meal. To top it off, while our children were still in the process of eating their pasta dishes, the desserts were unexpectedly brought to the table and placed right next to their mains. Any parent or sensible individual knows that placing a dessert in front of a toddler will only result in them ignoring their main course. Just two minutes after the desserts were served, the bill was unceremoniously placed on our table, and we were informed that we needed to pay and leave promptly as the table was booked. This rushed and abrupt manner of handling the situation left a sour taste in our mouths, quite literally and figuratively. When I sought clarification from the manager, Kasia, regarding the subpar service and the rushed approach to our dining experience, her response was dismissive, stating, "I told you 1 hour." This exchange left us feeling unsupported and unheard in our concerns. Furthermore, the manager's demeanor towards our family, especially considering the presence of young children, was disappointing. Her lack of empathy and the smirk on her face as she instructed us to vacate our table further contributed to a sense of disregard for our experience. Such unprofessional conduct from a manager reflects poorly on the establishment and sets a concerning example for the rest of the staff, raising doubts about the overall ethos of the company. In light of this encounter and the entirety of our visit, I would caution others against patronizing this restaurant. Beyond the issues with service and timing, the pricing appears to be inflated for the quality of food and service provided. The lack of customer value demonstrated during our visit only reinforces the decision to steer clear of this establishment in the future.

If you're expecting a cozy Italian restaurant, this isn't the right place because it's actually a franchise chain. That's what the atmosphere on site is like: loud, crowded and hectic, it's difficult to have a conversation. Pizzas are okay, but I would stay away from risotto. I tried the Chorizo ​​Carbonara because the name made me curious. Unfortunately, the dish was bland and you had to look for the chorizo ​​with a magnifying glass. When you modify such a well-known dish, you should be a little bolder. There is no pepper or salt on the table, you have to ask for that, but freshly grated Parmesan is offered without asking.

Ordered takeaway here and it was awful across the board. Slimy wings in a vat of oil, a pizza like the worst in the freezer section, flavorless dips with the bread. We're here visiting and picked a pizza place at random and this is one of the worst dinners we've ever had.

Generally Speaking... Zizzi,s has it down to a fine Art...They do Good Italian..very well... Always had a Great Experience and Delicious Food... polite, Prompt and Courteous Service... We Normally Dine 🍽 in the Zizzi at Tower Hill... but Coming back from Kent...it was Quicker to come to this one... Delicious 😋 😋 😋 Thank you....

It's been great. The food was really delicious, especially the dessert was amazing. Also, the personnel was nice and helpful. The restrooms were clean and not gendered, which I can really appreciate being a nonbinary person myself.

Horrible experience. Tiny potions, big service charge, and when they brought out our water it came out to be $6 each for me and my partner. Also, everyone who worked there was grump and rude.

Meeting girlfriends in London. Food was lovely. However, the tables were too close together, so when needing to go to the restroom you had to push past people who were eating. Also try to avoid being placed near the cooking station as it gets hot sitting there.

The pork and garlic meatballs were dry and bland. the mushroom risotto had one slice of a mushroom! Will not be going again soon......

The food was tasty and the service was great

Pizzas are super tasty (especially pinoli), and the jumbo prawns is a must!! Fried Calamari too is a must, and dont forget the garlic bread, it is special.. but the mall's branch was much better on all aspects than the Earls court branch (near the station).

Busy and vibrant hassle and bustle. Close to Victoria. Handy for a good meal before going on the train.

We visited this establishment on Saturday 17th February and found our experience very disappointing. The selection of food available was poor and the quality was of the same standard for the price paid. Unfortunately I would not recommend on this experience.

Ok, for what it is, it's not the best pasta in the world, but in my opinion it's good enough - good portions, nice vibe and prime location - what I was looking for at the time. Friendly staff with good customer service 👍 which was essential for catching up with friends, you want to talk about what's new in your life and what's been bothering you, not being distracted or disappointed by something else around you. Quick service and consistent recipe. All in all, well done for a chain restaurant 👍

Had a lovely evening with friends & family, absolutely enjoyed my meal it was spicy, tasty & filling 😋 the staff were helpful and attentative.

It was okay, a bit packed and had to wait for a table but we visited during a busy Christmas time. The pizzas are fantastic though especially the pepperoni one.

A very good pub on Victoria Street. I sincerely recommend it.

Ate delicious pizza and pasta. Beautifully thin and equally crispy base, a delight. Service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the Zizzi is a bit expensive.

The food was very nice, however the service was appalling. The waiter dropped some of our garlic bread starter which was not replaced. The waitress started clearing our table before everyone had finished eating our main course, and was pushy about the dessert menu. It appeared that all the staff wanted to do was get as many people in/out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. Not a very relaxed atmosphere.

the restaurant is really worth recommending. the food is very tasty and the menu is very interesting. very nice and patient service. There is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, which is an additional advantage. The view of the kitchen ensures that the food is prepared with care.

Visited here after a positive experience at the Portsmouth Zizzi. This was repeated at Victoria. Lovely server, bubbly, friendly. In app discounts were happily applied to reduce my bill significantly. Same yummy food. Other staff were really helpful when the wrong starter was sent out, removing and replacing it with apologies.

Visited lunch time yesterday with two under two's. The service from Patrick was amazing. Made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Patrick for making it a pleasant experience for us. You are a credit to Zizzi's.

Food mediocre, hefty prices for small portions

I was at Zizzi’s Victoria today . My friend had her nearly two year old twins with her . Obviously they were very bored at sitting still . Our waiter Patrick went above and beyond for them. Nothing was too much trouble . We had a drink spilled and he was there straight away helping clear it up and quickly brought a new drink to replace the one that was spilled. He showed excellent customer service . The food was very good too !

We were greeeted (poorly) by a very abrupt woman (blonde ponytail, looked as if she was a manager which is even worse). She’s was immediately standoffish, snotty and as if she was looking down at us. We had our baby who has milk and gluten allergies, she failed to give the standard allergy menu, failed to explain anything, failed to safely take our order, on the staff till which was behind us I could see she had only noted the gluten allergy and not the milk allergy on the items. Luckily I had checked the allergy menu myself and eat at zizzis often. We eat at zizzis as they are normally brilliant with allergies and me and my little boy don’t have to be left out. It took forever for our food to come , took forever for her to serve us, we didn’t get asked if we wanted more drinks, got thrown the dessert menu but then wasn’t even offered if we wanted to order desserts. The food was also horrendous, our chicken starter was cold and borderline uncooked, our spag bowl was stale and tasted awful, my mums bruschetta was a piece of French bread with fridge cold tomato’s slapped on it, my brothers carbonara was gummy. Like I said we love zizzis normally and frequent the bluewater one, it’s my go too as I know I’ll get good service and good food, but on this occasion at the Victoria location it was awful. We just paid the bill and left and didn’t even complain because the woman who was serving us was so rude and I just didn’t want the grief

Me and my group of friends go to have dinner at Zizzi at least once a month.. Unfortunately this time we had a problem with the blonde front of house, she couldn’t make a decision of sorting out a table for 6 people. We had to go find the table and take a picture to show her the table available for us. We waited in the cold for about 20min. We love this restaurant but this woman was a bummer.

I visited with my daughters earlier for the first time and was really disappointed. The staff were very abrupt and quite rude, with the exception of one staff member who offered us our leftovers as takeaway. The food was mediocre, it did however arrive very quickly after us ordering. It arrived before the drinks. When it came to paying, it was made out that our payment method was declining-which it was not, after some insistence the card was not the problem and it was actually the machine. No apology was offered for the accusations of us not being able to pay.

Had the macchiato and a brownie. The brownie was absolutely delicious, lovely coffee. The food looked delicious, but I wasn't very hungry at the time unfortunately. Would have loved to go back for a meal. Next time I'm in London hopefully 🙂 our waiter was a really lovely guy, very friendly to customers. Lovely atmosphere in here. Would definitely visit again.

I have always had bad experiences with Zizzi’s! As a result, I hadn’t returned to zizzi’s for about 15 years. I finally decided to break my long standing stigma against it and went again with my grandmother! Firstly it was super busy and there were not enough waiters for the number of customers. The waiter kept on forgetting things and I had to ask many times to remind him. Secondly, the main course came about 10mins apart from each other, by that point how grandmother was already half way through her subpar meal. The food was well below average and we both struggled to finish it. Additionally, the waiter was not smiley or warm in the slightest. Overall, my pre-existing disappointing experiences have been strengthen further and I will never be returning to zizzi’s again.

The food of this restaurant is pretty bad and looks like it's preheated with a microwave and bought in the frozen section of a supermarket; the carbonara pasta looked like chewing gum. Also, the service was the worst I've ever witnessed, very unfriendly and they started arguing in front of everyone. On the other hand it needs more cleaning, I had the Haloweeen decoration above (a spider's web).

Zentral in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Bahnhof Victoria gelegen. Schön eingerichtet mit grosser Fensterfront jedoch etwas eng wenn viel los ist. Freundliche und zügige Bedienung trotz vollem Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker. Besonders cool fand ich, dass auf der Speisekarte einige Gerichte als empfohlen gekennzeichnet wurden und nach dem Scannen eines CR Codes konnte man, bei Allergien oder so, alle betroffenen Gerichte ausblenden.

The calzone was fantastic.. very tasty. The service was a bit of a letdown... Very grumpy, and Richard the waiter didn't seem very happy! Cheer up mate!

Conveniently located, great quick service, well made food, decently priced, great value! We had calamari, bruschetta, fish, pasta, and lasagna. Our server was attentive, and the tables were comfortable and spacious.

Ordered pasta and pizza for take out. Pizza was okay. My ravioli was fine. But the lasagne was inedible. The cheese had that rancid taste as if it was moldy. Made my son sick. Stay away from ordering that, and you should be fine.

We had a dinner at the place at Christmas Eve. Half of the staff was visibly grumpy and uninterested. Cocktails were watery and food was overpriced. In summary we would avoid this place in future.

Awful food that taste like it is a microwave meal from asda and has been heated up and left under a heating light. AVOID. No easy option to decline paying service despite it being less than average. I will never darken the door of this place again. Completely rubbish and massively over priced.

I wasn't happy at all with the staff who didn't welcome me and didn't treat me well. The food wasn't as expected the good thing only it didn't take log to serve it but I think the rice was half cooked Then I was forced to pay tips that I didn't want to pay, I found it added to my bill I don't recommend eating in this restaurant to anyone

Very busy pre Christmas but great service and the food was delicious. I had the Winter Zucca salad (I think that was what it was called). Delicious and also good for you!

Review for autistic people: Zizzi Victoria The room is a good temperature. The lights are not too bright, but it is very loud because sounds reverberate around the room a lot. There is music playing too. It was somewhat difficult to communicate with my dad who was sitting across the table from me. Tables are quite close together, and I went at 16:00 on a Sunday and even then it was quite busy. I did not visit the toilets so I do not know what they are like. The staff are friendly. The food came extremely quickly (a bit suspicious) and was mediocre. It was pretty good, just not as good as I had hoped. I had spaghetti bolognese. My dad had a lasagne and it was burnt on the bottom and not very good either. The desserts were good - I had a chocolate snowball which was rich and delicious. Drinks come with ice. Overall, the environment was noisy and a bit stressful and rushed. The food was OK. Sensory experience 5/10.

We visited for supper on dec 4 , we were looked after by Fernando who was an absolute lovely guy He was attentive and didn’t rush us into ordering , he was friendly chatty and we even joined him a song Food was lovely as always , hot and tasty and very generous in size Bathrooms were clean and nice touch with the hand soap and lotion Fernando if you read this we love you and wish you all the best and thank you for making it a lovely evening You’re a credit to the restaurant and they are very lucky to have you

Very disappointing. Have been to other Zizzi and have enjoyed the food, etc. Here, was not good at all. Came here with my wife and had two main courses. My wife's food arrived in 5 mins, obviously microwaved, while mine arrived 10 minutes later. My dish was a pizza that wasn't fully cooked, some parts of it definitely needed 5 mins longer. Service was quick but missing the niceties. We were not offered pepper or parmesan on our dishes, no smiles, or "How are you today?" The whole thing felt rushed and uncomfortable. We won't be back to this branch in a hurry.

Abysmal. Really poor service, desperate lack of menu options despite this having been recommended as good for gluten free (it isn't) - they'd run out of ingredients and this was only 5.30pm. Not recommended and won't be returning. An aside, it's completely unnecessary for them to STILL be cashless (using covid rules 4 years on). Avoid.

Supper for our second evening in London happened at restaurant Zizzi - Victoria. That eating establishment was chosen for its close proximity to the performance of Wicked a short walk’s distance. Our foursome was cheerfully greeted upon entry, and a comfortable table was instantly provided. Then, the disappointment set in. Two of us chose “casareccia della casa” which doesn’t seem to easily translate to English. The dish consisted of a sort of penne pasta in a weak sauce accompanied by tidbits of par-boiled chicken, infused with very little flavor. The cheesy bread, at an additional fee, was what appeared to be rolled-up pizza dough with par-melted mozzarella cheese atop with a hint of garlic. One of us ordered a personal pizza that was delivered with little evidence of having been baked. It was flat and structurally sound, but the dough was still white. It had to have been withdrawn from the pizza oven the moment the dough became slightly rigid. The bowl of spaghetti with meat sauce consisted of a cup of boiled spaghetti noodles with a splash of red sauce, not very inviting. No parmesan-reggiano was offered to either enhance or provide any flavor to the so-called Italian cuisine. Is it possible that the local population lacks taste buds? One is better off to have supper at home before attending the theater.

Bediening was mega snel, eten was goed. Locatie is centraal, niet de meest gezellige plek in zo'n winkelcentrum maar wel goed bereikbaar. Let op, wordt wel automatisch fooi aan je eindbedrag toegevoegd met afrekenen!

Buona soluzione per un pranzo veloce

Extremely busy chain restaurant, there are some good options on the menu and it's kid friendly but it is overwhelmingly cramped and busy and staff are overly stretched so it took a long time to pay. Food was nice but had better pizza and pasta. OK for convience.

Really welcoming staff, very speedy ordering and service. Would recommend!

I visited this Zizzi Restaurant, and the service was great. My waiter was quick and always comfortated me if everything was okay, if i needed anything else, etc. The food was okay, a complementary snack, which i loved. Thank you to Natalia and the manager for the kindness and making sure i was okay.

OK menu range plenty of choice. Weds 5.15 table, space OK but very busy after 5.30 as office close. Chicken milanese & fresh Pasta chicken with prosciutto dishes.Tasty pale ale on offer. 2 mains + 2 drinks £45

Nice atmosphere! Unfortunately, the daily specials listed on the paper was out of date and it took the manager to come and tell us. And yet, still want changed when we left.

Fast service good staff busy place deserve a 5 star

The limited vegan dishes were even more limited because some weren't available. What i had (lentil ragu) was not very good. Pasta was overcooked and ragu made without love (or much interesting flavor.) The bruschetta was ok. No IPA beer available.
