The spaghetti was delicious and it was a more than wonderful experience

Mi familia y yo fuimos a Spaghetti House una media tarde mientras visitábamos Londres. No habíamos planeado comer allí, pero después de ver que había disponibilidad para nuestra fiesta de 8 (incluidos los niños) decidimos probarlo. Todos nos quedamos muy bien sorprendidos! Esperábamos que la comida fuera promedio dado que esto es parte de una cadena de restaurantes, sin embargo cada uno de nosotros disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas (formadas por pastas y pizzas). El ambiente era agradable y el servicio era bueno. Sin duda volvería y recomendaría a otros.

El personal era ambivalente, no grosero pero tampoco particularmente educado. La comida era horrible. Pedí espaguetis polpetti y compré las albóndigas más horribles. Ni siquiera estaban calientes y estaban cubiertos con una salsa de sabor realmente desagradable. La pizza de mi hijo era sosa y más como un pan de ajo queso, ya que las coberturas eran escasas. Definitivamente no volveré a entrar.

It was a great experience to just bump to this restaurant which is being well managed by Diego who was very friendly and helping us to find the best choice. The food is fresh, toilets are clean and stuff is helping Grazie millie..

Served quick and good sized tasty portions, but essentially very expensive pasta with arribatra sauce and 5 quid for an orange juice. Filled up quick and full of casually dresses folks out for group meals, it's quite noisy so if you wear hearing aids chose your seats wisely.

Food ok but on expensive side. restaurant very warm. Service not great had to ask for water for the table on four occasions before it came. Two managers more interested in chatting than ensuring restaurant running well. Toilets were untidy not very clean and in need of refurbishment. All in all disappointing for Central London.

Review for the restaurant: We visited an Italian restaurant in Soho, London, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Right from the start, the service fell short. The manager seated us, and when we inquired about the portion size of the lasagne (in grams or calories), it took three attempts to get an answer—something that should have been handled much more smoothly. We ordered a lasagne, a pizza, and two glasses of wine. When the wine arrived, the waiter silently placed the glasses on the table and walked away without a word. We would have expected at least the most basic courtesy—something as simple as “Here is your wine” or “Enjoy your drinks.” The lack of acknowledgment or engagement made the service feel impersonal and uninspired. As for the food, it was highly disappointing. Both the lasagne and pizza tasted bland, more like canteen food than authentic Italian cuisine. For the price charged, this was unacceptable. The worst moment came when I discovered a white hair in my lasagne. I called the manager over, and rather than apologising, he tried to convince me that it was a piece of unmelted cheese. His response lacked sincerity, and while he offered to replace the lasagne, his demeanour made it clear that customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority. London is undoubtedly an expensive city, but it is also home to countless restaurants that offer truly delicious food at reasonable, even affordable prices. Sadly, this restaurant does not belong in that category. Furthermore, it’s baffling how many people leave glowing reviews for places like this, seemingly unaware of what good food truly tastes like—or perhaps unwilling to admit they wasted their money at a subpar establishment. We will not be returning, and we would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Excellent little place located in the center of London, for us Italian tourists it was a pleasant discovery: delicious and plentiful dishes, fast service and unparalleled hospitality. Special thanks go to the manager Diego who made us feel at home. A must try if you go to London.

Restaurantens navn er belejligt glemt, men vores oplevelse sidder stadig i baghovedet som en eftermiddag fyldt med blandede følelser. Vi ankom til stedet i forventning om en behagelig middagsoplevelse. Til trods for den travlhed, der mødte os ved døren, blev vi hurtigt vist til et bord efter blot fem minutters ventetid. Dette gav os et positivt førstehåndsindtryk. Maden kom på bordet i en imponerende fart, og det er altid værdsat, når sulten tærer. Vi bestilte pasta med aubergine og deres friterede kylling, begge serveret med løfter om smagsoplevelser, vi dog måtte lede lidt efter. Restauranten havde tydeligvis travlt, hvilket måske gav anledning til den lille, men mærkbare forglemmelse: parmesan. Alle omkring os så ud til at få den vigtige ingrediens strøet over deres pastaretter, men vores blev glemt. Uden parmesanen stod det klart, at retten var stærkt undersaltet. Kyllingeretten kom med pomfritter, hvis konsistens desværre heller ikke levede op til forventningerne. De var blødere end ønsket, og ligesom pastaen savnede de en snert af salt. Selve kyllingen var dog stegt til punkt og prikke, hvilket fremhævede en ellers middelmådig oplevelse. Alt i alt var besøget en oplevelse, der hverken inspirerede loyalitet eller afskrækkelse. Restaurantens tempo og evne til at håndtere travlhed var imponerende, men de små detaljer, som kan hæve en god ret til en fremragende, manglede desværre. Med en pris på 92 pund for to retter og lidt vin, havde vi forventet en højere kvalitet for pengene. Selvom vi endte med at give stedet tre stjerner for en solid men ujævn præstation, efterlod prisniveauet os med følelsen af, at vi burde have fået mere for vores penge.

The service was amazing from when we walked in the door. And then lucked out to sit with the owner for our entire meal. He was a delight. Great food too!

Good evening we were attended by the manager Manuel, who from the beginning was super friendly and attentive, recommended the best food. I had a very good meal, I recommend the restaurant, for me the best in London.

Spaghetti Carbonara was alright, but they got the order wrong. The food came first, then the cutlery and at the end the beverage. Staff seemed a little bit stressed although there were no many customers here. Atmosphere was nice though.

Not high quality Italian restaurant. Meets standards of okay Italian food. I Came in with a buggy, there were two doors to open. Both very narrow. No one in the staff helped me coming in or out and they looked at me struggling with the door on both occasions. Not great service.

Perhaps I picked the wrong dish bit was disappointed with what arrived. Given the prices one now has to pay, even more disappointed. Circa £5 for a soft drink seems a bit much.

We had a great time at the restaurant :) The food was great and the staff were even greater! Very nice place overall, really clean and organized. The portions aren't too big but just right. Our waiter, Diallo was not only super nice but also very helpful and patient, to be honest it was the best customer service that I got to experience on my trip to GB!

More options like burrata salad because I couldn’t find it , I wish if there were more options on the portion sizes of the pasta like the number of grams in the dish .

The best pasta in London! Definitely try their king prawn linguine, but ask to remove chilli first, and you’ll enjoy fantastic mediterranean dish!

Today I just pop in your restaurant at Argyll Street and I must say everything was great… both food and service were outstanding…just a small feedback…it would be great to have Spaghetti Pesto back in the menu

Service charge was very high, and I was made to feel uncomfortable about lowering it in order to be pressured into paying the full amount. Food portions were generous and quality was fair for a chain restaurant, but I definitely would not return.

We took a chance on not pre-booking a pre theatre meal and, after several rejections, and beginning to think that we would be grabbing a sandwich, we ended up at this restaurant and were very pleased that we did. The food was good, the staff were friendly and we were well fed and out again 20 minutes before curtain up... ideal.

Probably one of the best carbonaras I’ve eaten. However, portions are pretty big!!! I wasn’t able to finish my plate despite it being delicious, so plan to share if you don’t have a big appetite!

I recently dined at Spaghetti House on Argyll Street, it’s the cosiest and most charming restaurant I’ve visited in a while. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a delightful meal. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a great dining experience. We started with the arancini di riso – crispy arancini filled with mozzarella, beef and pork ragu, and spicy arrabbiata. It was absolutely delicious, with the perfect blend of textures and flavours. The calamari fritti was another highlight; you just can’t go wrong with it – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We also tried the zucchini fritte, which was incredibly tasty. The dish of lentils with tomato, carrots, garlic, and parsley had a delicious flavour that was both hearty and comforting. For our main courses, we had the classic carbonara, which was creamy and perfectly balanced. However, my absolute favourite was the linguine gambari asparagus – linguine with king prawns, asparagus, tomatoes, white wine, garlic, and fresh chili. The flavours were spot on, making it an unforgettable dish. To finish off the meal, we indulged in the decadent chocolate cake and the classic tiramisu. Both desserts were a perfect ending to a fantastic meal, rich and flavourful. Overall, every dish we tried was tasty and satisfying. I definitely loved my experience at Spaghetti House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and delicious dining experience in the heart of London.

Just walked in , no issues getting a table as it was early afternoon. I ordered gluten free penne al Pomodoro and a glass of wine, my son had the spaghetti Bolognese cheesy garlic bread and a delicious lemonade. The servers were very attentive, food was delicious and well presented the atmosphere was lovely, Dean Martin style songs in the background. My son paid , but I did find it a bit pricy, that didn't stop us enjoying the meal and ambiance though.

We found this restaurant as we were looking for a pre theatre meal. We were in a bit of a hurry and told the waiter this. We were seated promptly and our order was taken straight away. The food and wine were excellent. Food tasty and hot, great value for money. The atmosphere was really good. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and made our visit perfect. Well done guys. We will be highly recommending this restaurant and definitely visiting again next time we are in the area.

My wife and I popped in for a quick meal. We both ordered Ceaser Salad, I had salmon with it, and my wife had chicken breast. I also ordered 1 glass of Coke and 2 glasses of white wine. The food arrived. ....we had to ask for extra mayonnaise and the parma cheese. To be honest, the salad was like strips of lettuce with croutons sprinkled over them. TOTALLY TASTELESS. The salmon & chicken were fine. The bill came to £81. 13% of that was a service charge. What a joke, poor service, poor food. NEVER AGAIN.

We stopped by for Sunday lunch…The food was good, considering the location and how busy they were, the atmosphere was lively yet the team were attentive. A particular shout out to the manager on shift nano who went out of her way to ensure our family was looked after.. We had a great time

We had a nice experience. We accidentally entered this restaurant because we were hungry. And the spaghetti carbonara was one of the best we ate. The waiter was helpful. Portions are large. We couldn't eat everything even though we were very hungry. Unfortunately, I'm reading previous recessions now and we're really scared. But our experience was positive.

Pretty average food and service. It was busy with a queue outside and we felt rushed out the restaurant - they kept asking us if we wanted the bill and we hadn't even had dessert! Our waitress was also pretty abrupt and they add a tip to the bill without asking. We won't be rushing back.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a day in London. Two bowls of pasta and two pizzas, and 1 bottle of sparkling water was quite costly for a midweek lunch. Food was very nice, portions, were good sized. Overall nice lunch but wouldn’t rush back.
