Loved it...Great food with gluten-free options. Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious. Our group shared the charcuterie board, friti zucchini and tuna tartare - all was excellent...we will be back!

Booked for dinner with a friend and had to call and cancel due an emergency & despite cancelling early in the morning, they still charged my card £50; no compassion despite being a regular diner plus staying at the Ned Hotel. The manager Andre was absolutely horrendous over the phone and this has really upset myself & my friend since we are regulars at the Ned for the past 5 years. We encourage so many people to go there and get treated so poorly! Shame!

Terrible experience. Halfway through the meal, the waiters started to get agitated and nervous and hurrying us through the rest of it. My plate was still half full and the inattentive waiter asked if I was finished, whilst reaching for my plate. Outrageous! If he'd had observed me even for a minute he'd have known I was very much in the middle of my meal. We were told three times we were 'behind schedule'. Excuse me!?!?! Never have I heard anything like that in a restaurant in my life. We were moving at a completely ordinary pace for a meal with friends, ordering bottles of wine and drinks and starters - and paying a decent sum for it, too! Utterly dispicable. I was told later that we had a 2 hour slot. Ironically, the reservation was from 18:45 and we left the restaurant at 20:45. So all that fuss and trouble they caused was wholly unnecessary. Yay, we now live in a time where even a Friday evening restaurant meal with friends is monitored and timed. With your greed, Mr Cecconi, you make the world a worse place. Shame on you. You make capitalism look bad.

Terrible experiencia. A mitad de la comida, los camareros comenzaron a agitarse y nerviosos y nos apresuraron durante el resto de la comida. Mi plato seguía medio lleno y el camarero desatenta me preguntó si había terminado, mientras alcanzaba mi plato. ¡Indignante! Si me hubiera observado aunque fuera por un minuto habría sabido que estaba en medio de mi comida. Nos dijeron tres veces que estábamos "atrasados". ¡Disculpe! Nunca he oído nada así en un restaurante en mi vida. Nos movíamos a un ritmo completamente ordinario para una comida con amigos, pidiendo botellas de vino y bebidas y entrantes - y pagando una suma decente por ello, también! Totalmente despreciable. Me dijeron más tarde que teníamos un espacio de 2 horas. Irónicamente, la reserva era del 18 : 45 y salimos del restaurante a las 20: 45 . Así que todo ese alboroto y problemas que causaron fue totalmente innecesario. Sí, ahora vivimos en una época en la que incluso una comida de restaurante del viernes por la noche con amigos es monitoreada y programada. Con su codicia, Sr. Cecconi, hace del mundo un lugar peor. Qué vergüenza.

Very upscale Italian restaurant in a cozy atmosphere and with VIP service. The place is magnificent. The cuisine is excellent. The prices are commensurate with the place.

I tried to make a minor change to a booking with good notice. They were officious and unhelpful. The food may be excellent, but the service was incredibly poor.

Had a brilliant evening with my husband. Fantastic buzzy atmosphere and great live music. Friendly waiters. However , whilst the food is good it is extremely expensive and I would say overpriced.

Octopus, beef tartare, & chicken kale Caesar were all top notch

We came for the Sunday feast. The food was lovely and The Ned is a lovely building. The selection of food is exceptional and it is constantly replenished so it’s always very fresh and hot. Everything was cooked beautifully. What let the experience down for me was how cramped everything was. The food is all laid out to one side of the restaurant with waiters walking past all the time and other customers crowded round trying to get back to their tables. The tables are also very close together and while trying to enjoy my food I frequently had a waiters butt in my face which was just invasive and uncomfortable. I appreciate they want to have as many covers as possible but waiters need to be more mindful about where they stand while serving tables. For £100 per person we thought the food was worth it but the general experience was not. I’ll hold out for a table in The Ned section next time.

First of all I want to start off by saying that the service, cleanliness and atmosphere is the only reason I gave this place even a 3. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was great, their was also a band performing in the middle too. We had a reservation to have late dinner for my cousins birthday. As mains, we ordered: Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, Spaghetti lobster, tomato, chilli and Rigatoni bolognese. Starters we had calamari and Octopus salad, tomatoes, olives, celery. The Rigatoni bolognese came undercooked, so I politely asked if it was supposed to be like that and they said they’ll re-cook it for longer. When my second plate came it was the exact same consistency. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish my meal. We bought a personalised cake and they said they had a strict policy for no nuts so we weren’t allowed to take that in. The manager was still very helpful and she sent over a brownie and sang happy birthday for her which was very sweet. Overall I would say the service and atmosphere is great but food is pricey and definitely nothing special. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone else. Parking is difficult in the area, would recommend public transport for those that do go here.

Been here for three times and last two times were really pleasant but the last time and it’s the first time that I got food poisoned. The reason was that I consumed too many lobsters and got too much mercury intake and I made the complaint to the restaurant asking for refund but they said to me they don’t TAKE MERCURY into account. Basically so it’s my fault?

Visited for the Champagne buffet brunch on a Sunday. It was a blowout treat that was tremendous in an elegant lobby dining room with white tablecloths and attentive service.

We had Cecconi’s Feast, food was great, could not fault the atmosphere or the staff. Live music was a great thing to have a but a bit too loud as background for a lunch booking. It was really hard to hear each other. Altogether great experience, do work up your appetite though!

The food was amazing, the pasta was freshly made the best we’ve had and the pizza was also amazing. The atmosphere was very very loud so you do have to shout to hear each other. But apart from that it was perfect!

My friends and I visited Cecconi's Sunday Feast to celebrate a birthday, we had such a wonderful afternoon for her special day. The food was spectacular, the complimentary prosecco was delicious and the staff were lovely. Mourad was our main waiter for the afternoon/evening and he is the reason we are writing this review!! No request was too much, he was super nice and charming and he really made our day with such great service. We booked an afternoon slot and never felt rushed to leave the table or ask for the bill. Mourad even advised us when the food was going to be taken away so we could go back for more and make the most of what was left! The overall experience was an absolute delight and we will 100% be returning.

I wasn't expecting to taste the best pizza I've had in town so far (I tries quite a few places) here. It's soft and melt so quickly in the mouth. Ingredients are of the finest quality and service is impeccable. I know they are best known for their dishes, but for me the true higlight was their pizzas and I'll return pretty soon and bring friends

Mourad was great we turned up for a late lunch at 4:30pm. He was probably getting ready for dinner service. However he made the whole meal enjoyable. Lobster was amazing, pizza was perfect.

my partner and I visited for the Cecconis Sunday Feast this past Sunday and were left feeling underwhelmed. Very limited choice of food considering the prices ? 5 choices of salad which is not needed. Dry roast potato’s and undercooked veg. Overcooked Yorkshire puddings. The two choices of pasta were Cacao de Pepe and a creamy mushroom tagliatelle…. In other words two pretty similar pastas? Lobsters had barely any meat in them. Prawns require beheading/de-shelling which always puts me off eating them by the time it’s all edible. Oysters weren’t very meaty and I’m not sure if they were dodgy as I didn’t even make it out of the before being unwell. Staff were nice and attentive, although the level of service did not match the pricetag I won’t be returning

Thursday nights at the Ned are amazing. Cecconi’s is one of my favorite restaurants, lots of healthy options. I have tried fish, pasta and chicken - all of them are great. Loved the tiramisu and profiteroles.

Decent food. Server lacked knowledge and charisma. And an odd rule that doesn't allow you to use a laptop at the table.

Not impressed, I have been here a few times and ordered the lobster spaghetti to share at £70 but was shocked to find it only had half a dozen bits size of a M&M sweets of lobster for £70 is Absolutely shocking . When I mentioned this and the bill came I was told that the Service charge of £13 was taken off the bill for the lobster. this is absolute joke that The waitress is punished for a great service she provided, why would you take off the service charge and not off the meal.it is terrible that the restaurant only responded to one bad review because of being accused of racism

We really had a very nice experience here. No reservation, we went for a drink at the bar. Staff were very attentive. We took the Charcuterie plate for a snack. How nice that in addition to cheese and sausage, there was also olives, grilled eggplant, tomatoes and zucchini!

Not tasty and overpriced. Lobster spaghetti lacked any flavour, tomato sauce looked and tasted like unseasoned passata straight from a can. Spaghetti strings were surprisingly short for all five of us at the table and looked like they were broken in half to fit the pot for cooking! It must have been store bought pasta as well which was very disappointing given plenty of restaurants in London serve freshly made pasta for 1/3 of these prices. Tiramisu was another disappointment, biscuits were oversoaked in coffee and too wet, creamy layer was too sweet and just not tasty. Fried calamari and zucchini starters were greasy. Chardonnay wasn’t good. Service was very slow and they’ve mistaken orders - they brought us some other table’s orders and took it back.

Delicious Italian plates and lovely atmosphere with delightful music!... We took cacio e pepe (rich, full of cheese but airy), margherita pizza (sooo good with neapolitan style with fluffy crust), calzone (very nice) and soup of the day (cauliflower smooth). Of course profiterole and tiramisou All the proportions were enough big with nice saultness. Ronaldo served us so lovely, he was communicative, quick and very very kind. We would recommend Cecconis for sure!!!

Food is extremely bad for what you pay for. I had a lobster spaghetti, it is £36, (1) the sauce is just plain tomato sauce, with no seasoning, no lobster flavour, (2) the spaghetti were all very short, I suspect they split the spaghetti into half when cooking, (3) portion was so small. Service, staff were friendly, but they were busy and it took us a long time to find someone to take our order. Atmosphere, it was an open area, not descent, very noisy. Not a pleasant place to have a nice dinner with this price. Very very upset.

We visited on a busy Thursday night and even before coming in the place has all the pretentiousness of a hyped London restaurant, which I understand given the location and the overall The Ned high-end concept. What I don’t understand is how you can charge £24 for a plate of rigatoni alla bolognese or £38 for a rather dry veal milanese: it’s ordinary food that in Italy would be served in a modest trattoria and would be completely out of place in a posh restaurant. I give credit to them for the octopus salad we had as starter, it was well balanced and seasoned but again, this is not a dish worth £24. The service was not particularly attentive either: if you are charging £70 for a bottle of wine that in Italy would cost €20 and you place the bottle in a frappose away from my table, I expect the waiter to top me up regularly, while at Cecconi’s in the end I had to grab the bottle myself. Not impressed unfortunately.

Excellent food, excellent environment

Paid £350 thinking I’m going to enjoy the buffet. The only things that they had available was ice cold lobster which was the worst tasting lobster I’ve ever ate, disgrace! The only edible item was the pizza ( in other words I paid £350 for pizza) I would not recommend coming and dining at this place as it is such a rip off the food that was available was lobster, raw salmon, and some ham options the rest were vegetables and some deserts. The atmosphere is nice with live music but for the price this was such a disappointment. Do not make the same mistake I made! I would not recommend you to dine at this “restaurant”

In a London's landmark, surrounded by marble and live music, I could experience a lovely aperitif time! Every detail is cared for, and I could not enjoy more my time there: Cecconi's has one of the best signature cocktails list of all the City, and prices are totally in line with the zone 1 of UK' capital. Excellent also the mocktail paragraph, usually disregarded by other drink businesses. Vincenzo was really friendly and helpful, suggesting us his favourite cocktails, that we enjoyed with a delicious sharing platter of charcuterie. A must experience in London!

Located at the wonderful historical Bank of England building now called the Ned, the classic Italian restaurant Cecconi’s is one of many excellent dining options and experiences that are worth a visit. The Ned is THE meeting place for the city business people doing deals over lunch or after work…Service was friendly but pretty average with staff missing or get wrong orders but the food was in general very good and being in the space is all part of the dining experience! An easy walk from Bank tube so leave the car at home. Book in advance and avoid peak times…..

This place is really something special! We didn't have a reservation, simply walked in, and they accommodated the 3 of us for a late lunch. The service is impeccable, the food is absolutely divine, and you really do feel quite special when you come to The Ned. It was my first time visiting but it certainly won't be the last! Thanks for a memorable birthday lunch!

Really nice champagne, wonderful food, perfect combination of buffet seafood starter, cacio e Pepe made to order (spot on), and buffet roast (beautifully rare beef), buffet Italian desert, and French cheese. Perfect combo! Nice, beautiful setting, lovely staff.

We had an absolutely tremendous evening at this restaurant within the restaurant and bar playground that is the Ned. The ambience and venue needs no introduction and the restaurant maintained the same high class but relaxed look and feel. The service was fast, attentive and even when I had to chase up my second cocktail they felt bad about the wait so took it off the bill after bringing it! Wow! The food choice was fantastic with a great selection of Italian favourites cooked to perfection (only small feedback would be for the lobster spaghetti to be a touch more salty) but aside from that we had a thoroughly good time and the bill was very reasonable. Come here for a casual evening or something special, it fits the bill for all occasions.

Really lovely experience. A lot of discussion before the booking with friends about whether this would be a discount version of the main Ned Sunday Feast, but it seemed to have everything that I expected and more. Free flowing Lobster, Oysters, Roast Dinner meats to cut, beautiful rare roast beef, slow cooked pork, rich gravy. Nice salads. Pizza & Pasta to order (Limited options, which maybe they could improve on). Plenty of nice little dessert options to power through at the end. Ambiance with the live jazz is perfect. Staff attentive throughout with a little Happy Anniversary plate at the end of the meal. There was a magician, but he spent quite a lot of time with just 2 tables, meaning we didn't get to see any tricks which was a shame. Also, the time limit of 2 hours, is strict, as they have a full second round of bookings. It would be good if they could provide the option to extend to a 3rd or 4th hour! - Get there on time to make the most of it!! Thanks for a great meal x

Just love this place, The Ned. Ambience and atmosphere is amazing, with live music every day from 5pm. Cocktails and food available at several different bars/restaurants but we always choose Cecconis.

We had brunch at Cecconi’s the food was ok but we had wonderful time and the service was perfect thanks to Mourad who was extremely attentive, professional, knowledgeable and very very kind! We will definitely come back.

Took my daughters for The Feast lunch, it was fantastic, the food was really good being a buffet I was sure what to expect but everything from the lobster to the pasta was delicious, they didn't even try to rush us out after our time was up we sat there and finished our drinks, the band was great, the ambience was brilliant

Dined here because I was unable to book a table for Ned’s Feast on the opposite side on 3/12. Cecconi’s is slightly different from Ned Feast, having bottemless pasta and pizza to order from the table. Lobsters,oysters and sunday roast are also available and a glass of processco is included. Lobsters are very fresh and meaty but the oysters are on the thinner side. There was a huge variety of desserts and cheese on the other side and I do recommend having the Tiramisu at the end to wrap up the huge meal. Overall, the bill is on the pricey side and there is less variety of hot food available when compared to buffets in Asia. However, I cannot complain too much as there was limited hotel restaurants hosting buffets in London . I would say it still worths a visit if you have a large stomach and a seafood lover.

Very coasy and friendly space with a great food and professional service

Great spot inside the Ned where you can taste some one of the best pizzas around the City! Prices can be high considering the the high end location and atmosphere, but if you are looking to have some very nice italian food Cecconi is definitely a great option. Came here on a Thursday evening and had one of the best pizzas while being very well positioned to see and listen to live music in the main hall. Service was ok considering the busy night. Beer was overpriced for a half-pint, but if you feel like having a tasty pizza in the City look no further.

I’m afraid from the moment we arrived we were on the clock, and by desserts we were reminded we only had 15 min left then the credit card machines were out. A classic case of get as much out of them and then send them packing! A very disappointing night with our family. Will not be back!

We were very impressed initially with Cecconis, but as the time passed we realised we were on the clock and by desserts and three obvious “walkbys” by the waiters with credit card machines in hand we were being given the red flag TO LEAVE. The food was lovely and the room itself was great but we were let down by the waiters wanting us to leave, despite the table next to us being empty the entire time! Lovely place but not recommended for a relaxing meal out with family, be ready to leave when they remind you have only 15min to go and then the credit card machines appear with vengeance!! It made the whole experience so disappointing!

Wonderful afternoon at Cecconi's Feast, their version of the wildly successful Ned Feast that's been drawing in crowds on the other side of the room. An array of food, from salads and charcuterie to a full roast and lobster, weigh down the bar. Pizza and pasta is available to order. And a wonderful dessert table full of brownies, jelly beans, panna cotta and tiramisu. At £100 a head (£165 to include unlimited champagne) it's not cheap, and firmly falls into the "special occasion" category. But it's a gorgeous setting, the food is fantastic and the service excellent.

Avoid, had food poisoning from undercooked crab ravioli. For a place like this in the Ned and the price of the menu I would not expect this, very disappointing and will not be returning ever again.

Clueless. Took my son for breakfast in the city this morning and we went to the NED at Bank. We both ordered a full English but the poached eggs were delivered hard boiled, sent them back and next lot were delivered soft but freezing cold. Asked why and was told they are cooked in batches. Asked if the kitchen cook some fresh but once again delivered luke warm eggs which clear had been shown the microwave. Sadly this was not going to be third time lucky. Such a shame as everything else on the plate was excellent. But at £20 for full English I will not be returning l and sadly does nothing for the reputation of this restuarant.

[The Ned London倫敦納德酒店]於1924年由[Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens埃德溫·魯琴斯爵士]設計。這棟建築物前身爲[Midland Bank米特蘭銀行總部]／寬敞高挑的大堂展現了上世紀的輝煌與精緻－現爲國家一級保護建築。 如今舊銀行大廳／已規劃為九間異國料理美食餐廳。應用原本銀行櫃員隔間木板改建為包廂座位。92根非洲綠色岩石拼湊覆蓋的柱子／撐起整棟建築／它－華麗得像一座宮殿。 酒店[依舊做舊]／全部裝飾皆以90年代初期風格打造。眼前這間豪華酒吧則由原銀行保管箱室改建而成。只逛了[二／三間]餐廳－沒想到竟是如此地[豪華／大氣]。 餐區內每個空間的裝飾都是精美而獨特。夜晚用餐時還有現場樂隊演奏－好友選擇優雅而美味的[意大利]餐廳。 [Cecconi]是[科西嘉]語／屬[科西嘉島]的義大利方言－難怪是有看沒有懂。取薄餅及麵包棒／蘸點[黑醋／橄欖油]－開始今天的餐桌團契。 這裡用餐氣氛極佳／場地華麗／服務員的態度良好／可惜價格過於昂貴。飯後食用這[水果＋冰淇淋]的甜點－有些兒酒醉飯飽的錯覺。 原以為打破了[英國不擅餐飲美食]的刻板印象。怎奈食畢後方知／這精緻可口的美食竟屬[義大利]式料理（連服務員也是[義大利]人）。不過／飯後後甜點－可要來一客用玻璃杯承裝的好看[提拉米蘇]。 [倫敦納德酒店]帶著倫敦的人文氣息及歷史／至今仍然完整地保存了－曾在1964年拍攝的電影《007：金手指》中露出的銀行地下金庫。今天喝了甜中帶苦的義大利經典雞尾酒[negroni cocktail]／我的臉立刻泛紅－變帥了。 。受邀來此用餐，原以為打破了「英國不擅餐飲美食」的刻板印象。怎奈食畢後方知，這精緻可口的美食竟屬「義大利」式料理！

While walking through London on a lovely sunny Autumn Saturday, we decided we wanted to have a quick lunch with some live music and the Ned's ground floor offers many options for that. A tasty lunch (ok pasta but delicious Veal Milanese), in nice surroundings without a reservation with live jazz.

I’m a huge fan of The Ned and have never had a bad meal. Until today. Cecconis today was poor. Calamari like rubber and cold. My colleagues chickpea soup, awful and once again luke warm. Mine and my colleagues crab pasta was cold and watery with zero flavour. My colleagues main had crab shell in. Zucchini also cold.greasy. Dessert was however fabulous. Service nice and friendly. So disappointed. Not sure what’s happened but worse meal I’ve ever had at The Ned and I’ve eaten there dozens of times.

Amazing atmosphere given it is based in The Ned so music, service and drinks selection is top quality. Only snag is veg selections are a limited but they are very open to tailoring dishes if needed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and let me tell you, it's like a culinary amusement park. The venue itself is a wonderland, but the service is a bit like playing roulette - sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. Now, when it comes to the menu, it's like a gastronomic symphony. You've got your high-end delights and your cozy comfort food all in one place. It's like they want you to experience an epicurean rollercoaster. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out on a food adventure of epic proportions. The place is massive, with so many nooks and crannies to explore that you'd think you stumbled into a food labyrinth. It's like a treasure hunt for foodies, and they've hidden amazing, high-end bars throughout, just waiting to be discovered. One thing I must commend is the impeccable cleanliness of the toilets. It's a small detail but makes a big difference in the overall experience. Now, let's talk about the soul - not the philosophical kind, but the dish. It was cooked to perfection with crispy, golden bits and succulent, tender flesh. It was so beautiful that I almost felt guilty for devouring it. The drinks? Oh, they were spot on. Perfectly poured, perfectly served. No complaints there.But here's where the story takes a twist. The food ordering experience was a bit hit and miss. It felt like a slow-motion race to get our orders in, and there was a delay that even a sloth would've found frustrating. Maybe they were trying to build suspense? Who knows?All in all, it's a fantastic city venue with an upmarket feel and a great ambiance. I'd say, keep up the good work, but maybe work on the speed of service. This place has all the ingredients for a fantastic dining experience – they just need to mix them a little more efficiently.
