Little loud but amazing place - we only had drinks

We had brunch at Cecconi’s the food was ok but we had wonderful time and the service was perfect thanks to Mourad who was extremely attentive, professional, knowledgeable and very very kind! We will definitely come back.

Didn’t have a great experience here. I was staying at the hotel and they weren’t friendly at all. Every time I asked a question, they were super passive.

The food and service were both incredible!! Especially Mourad gave us the best night with his lovely service and kindness. Would definitely recommend this to anybody to go eat here as soon as possible!

Dined here because I was unable to book a table for Ned’s Feast on the opposite side on 3/12. Cecconi’s is slightly different from Ned Feast, having bottemless pasta and pizza to order from the table. Lobsters,oysters and sunday roast are also available and a glass of processco is included. Lobsters are very fresh and meaty but the oysters are on the thinner side. There was a huge variety of desserts and cheese on the other side and I do recommend having the Tiramisu at the end to wrap up the huge meal. Overall, the bill is on the pricey side and there is less variety of hot food available when compared to buffets in Asia. However, I cannot complain too much as there was limited hotel restaurants hosting buffets in London . I would say it still worths a visit if you have a large stomach and a seafood lover.

Very coasy and friendly space with a great food and professional service

I’m afraid from the moment we arrived we were on the clock, and by desserts we were reminded we only had 15 min left then the credit card machines were out. A classic case of get as much out of them and then send them packing! A very disappointing night with our family. Will not be back!

Great spot inside the Ned where you can taste some one of the best pizzas around the City! Prices can be high considering the the high end location and atmosphere, but if you are looking to have some very nice italian food Cecconi is definitely a great option. Came here on a Thursday evening and had one of the best pizzas while being very well positioned to see and listen to live music in the main hall. Service was ok considering the busy night. Beer was overpriced for a half-pint, but if you feel like having a tasty pizza in the City look no further.

Wonderful afternoon at Cecconi's Feast, their version of the wildly successful Ned Feast that's been drawing in crowds on the other side of the room. An array of food, from salads and charcuterie to a full roast and lobster, weigh down the bar. Pizza and pasta is available to order. And a wonderful dessert table full of brownies, jelly beans, panna cotta and tiramisu. At £100 a head (£165 to include unlimited champagne) it's not cheap, and firmly falls into the "special occasion" category. But it's a gorgeous setting, the food is fantastic and the service excellent.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for 6 years but yesterday I had a disappointing experience. I took my mum to have a huge dinner (calamari, tartare, carbonara, two pizzas and red wine). The pizzas, which is usually one of the best in London, were extremely salty - borderline inedible. We flagged it to the waiter, he apologised but made no gesture: he didn't take anything off the bill or didn't even offer a complimentary aperitif, which would have been a nice gesture. There seemed to be no interest in our experience. Final bill: £157 for two people, which we would have been delighted to pay if the experience and care for us had been as usual instead of what happened yesterday. We had trouble sleeping due to the saltiness forcing us to drink throughout the night. I'm disappointed, after 6 years of loyalty I may not come back.

Mourad our waiter was excellent we were on a tight schedule and he made sure we were served swiftly with our food and drinks. Great food and well priced bottle of wine and very good live music to add to the experience.

I’m a huge fan of The Ned and have never had a bad meal. Until today. Cecconis today was poor. Calamari like rubber and cold. My colleagues chickpea soup, awful and once again luke warm. Mine and my colleagues crab pasta was cold and watery with zero flavour. My colleagues main had crab shell in. Zucchini also cold.greasy. Dessert was however fabulous. Service nice and friendly. So disappointed. Not sure what’s happened but worse meal I’ve ever had at The Ned and I’ve eaten there dozens of times.

Fresh and really delicious food, lots of options, good service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and let me tell you, it's like a culinary amusement park. The venue itself is a wonderland, but the service is a bit like playing roulette - sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. Now, when it comes to the menu, it's like a gastronomic symphony. You've got your high-end delights and your cozy comfort food all in one place. It's like they want you to experience an epicurean rollercoaster. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out on a food adventure of epic proportions. The place is massive, with so many nooks and crannies to explore that you'd think you stumbled into a food labyrinth. It's like a treasure hunt for foodies, and they've hidden amazing, high-end bars throughout, just waiting to be discovered. One thing I must commend is the impeccable cleanliness of the toilets. It's a small detail but makes a big difference in the overall experience. Now, let's talk about the soul - not the philosophical kind, but the dish. It was cooked to perfection with crispy, golden bits and succulent, tender flesh. It was so beautiful that I almost felt guilty for devouring it. The drinks? Oh, they were spot on. Perfectly poured, perfectly served. No complaints there.But here's where the story takes a twist. The food ordering experience was a bit hit and miss. It felt like a slow-motion race to get our orders in, and there was a delay that even a sloth would've found frustrating. Maybe they were trying to build suspense? Who knows?All in all, it's a fantastic city venue with an upmarket feel and a great ambiance. I'd say, keep up the good work, but maybe work on the speed of service. This place has all the ingredients for a fantastic dining experience – they just need to mix them a little more efficiently.

We came here yesterday for a hen do and were not disappointed. The venue, atmosphere, food and drinks were excellent and it was a lovely afternoon lunch. The food specifically was literally outstanding. I had the beef tartare, pumpkin risotto and finished of with tiramisu and oh my gosh, it was unreal. The drinks were lovely also - we tried some of their champagne and a couple cocktails and they were wonderful, particularly the Old Fashioned. The service was good too as was the atmosphere. The inside of the hotel was amazing and so full of character, plus the live music in the centre was incredible. I would definitely recommend a visit! :)

We were a party of three and were allocated an end table for two, we ordered a Mushroom and truffle Pizza which was extremely soggy, the Lobster ravioli portion was more a kids size, the waiter was pleasant enough although we had to wait a long while for the parmesan cheese and our food was getting cold, overall the venue atmosphere is great to enjoy a drink but I wouldn't bother paying top restaurant prices for a very medioca food.

Perfect menu, portions, amazing flavour with amazing ambience to match. The live music is 10/10 as usual. A gem in the city (and in London generally). I was served by, or should I say, well taken care of by Dorin. He’s an absolute credit to the spot and his friendly service was the cherry on top of what was an incredible meal. I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon.

How can you eat when all you hear is live music, it's hard to converse around the table and even harder to hear the staff,.no wonder so many mistakes happen. Our food was not great, my colleagues ordered mushroom pizza, the wrong pizza came out and, we complained, the pizza was taken back to the kitchen and the same pizza came back with mushrooms on..still not the pizza that was ordered. Attention to detail is very poor. I definitely would not come here again.

I've always loved Cecconi's, but the meal I had in September here was shocking, to the point it's really put me off - very average at best. The tuna tartare portion was extremely small, chewy and tasteless (felt like it didn't even have salt or pepper in it), and the calamari for £18 was laughable - the tiniest pieces of squid I have ever seen (I've had better frozen from a supermarket!). The burrata was lovely, but I assume that was imported from Italy so not down to Cecconi's making it. Luckily my friend got a discount due to her Soho House membership, but even with that, it was poor and overpriced. I am really not sure if I would come back to Cecconi's again after this... I used to be such a big fan. What a shame.

Wonderful dining experience on our wedding anniversary. An experience to saviour. Special mention for Adam who took care of us and the the food was delightful.

Consistently excellent pasta. Not cheap but good value. Good wine selection too.

We were served by Andre tonight! It was mine and my family’s first time in a place as fancy as the Ned! And we couldn’t have been more impressed with the quality of not only the food but the service. Andre was so kind and warm to us and was always there when we needed him! Just brilliant, will definitely be back again :)

Favourite place to eat in all of London. If I could give it more stars I would. The Ned as a whole is a great venue. Live music is always on when we visit with various bands playing soul covers giving an amazing background vibe. Service at Cecconis is always consistently superb. They look after you, are attentive but not intrusive. Food menu has changed since we came last but still excellent. Recommend the aubergine as a starter, with foccacia. Lots to choose from for mains (we went with the pizzas from the authentic pizza oven in the kitchen. Lots of flavour in the crust and a great tomatoe base). Standout desert is the limoncello rum baba. Don't question it, just do it. Can't wait to go back again.

First waiter - rude! Second waiter very nice. Food really average. Restaurant not busy so cannot understand the really bad service. Only good thing is the amazing building. Overpriced and disappointing. Give it a miss. Have been on a Sunday when food much better but this was just not acceptable. Have had better at my local Italian! And that’s saying something….

A lovely place but the service felt extremely rushed and therefor made the evening feel stressful rather than relaxing. Food was lovely but quite heavy. The atmosphere of the Ned however is immaculate and made me feel like I am in the upper east side of NYC.

The most incredible Full English breakfast today – eggs, sausage, bacon, black pudding, baked beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The service and atmosphere were absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend giving it a try! 🍳

Nice experience, nice location, great service, nice atmosphere. I tried the Sunday Fest all in all it didn't go badly you can eat without limits, honestly for what I spent I would have gotten a better quality result by ordering à la carte, but rightly you can't have everything in life. Experience to do.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing. The building which the restaurant is in is beautiful and when we came here for a late dinner there was live music which made the vibe of the place even better. The food was really good, especially the pizza tasted amazing. When you have a simple pizza with anchovies and you still cannot forget about it - then you know it was good. The place also does amazing cocktails and in the late hours it definitely have the nice bar vibes.

I enjoyed a delightful and delicious dinner at Cecconi's at The Ned London. It was absolutely breath-taking from the beautiful interior to the live music performances and the Italian food. We was attended to very well by all members of staff and enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely recommend Cecconi's at The Ned London and visit again very soon!

Very nice ambience and service …great hospitality.. Tiramisu must try

We are a group of mixed race friends, and one hostess was really discriminating our group. She allows all white men areiving to sit by the bar when they didn’t have a booking, and made us wait outside. Food here is good and overall the ambiance as well. But I must give 1 star, after the outrageous hostess this place has. You definitely should review who you are employing. Discrimination in genre and race it is against the law.

Nice Atmosphere with background singers. However food is rushed and staff trying to move you on so another booking can be fitted in. Only to say we still have wine in the bottle not done yet. For the price i would expect relaxing expierence rather than rushed. Food was average.

The Sunday Feast is really an experience! The service and atmosphere was utter flawless and the food is good, but not outstanding. I gave 3 stars due to the fact for 90£ per person would be great to have the table for 3 hours and really take the time to enjoy everything on offer. I overate so quickly I literally gave myself stomach cramps! Don’t be greedy! Take it easy.

Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone - the food was mediocre and overpriced for its quality and the service… was just poor! No personality, dripping wine and food everywhere without an apology even, unfriendly. So overrated and will never try it again!

Came here for breakfast and got the prosciutto, eggs, and burrata dish which was topped with some freshly sliced truffle. It was very good and very filling! The eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked. It was not crowded but busy in the morning. The ambience and service were great. Would recommend this spot!

Really disappointed today by the lunch service today. I won’t be back for a 3rd visit and will not recommend this spot to coworkers and friends anymore. Thought it would be a nice treat to celebrate my sister’s 26th Birthday at a restaurant that had good reviews and I had a good experience with in the past. Turned out to be a mistake. Server ( Christian C) was very inattentive and unwelcoming. While my Sister struggled to find the location (new to the area - on a trip from Toronto) I was not offered a drink/app or even greeted, it would have been nice to order a water and app as this was on my lunch break. When my sister arrived we then waited an additional 10 minutes for the server to come over. The server didn’t introduce himself and was extremely cold and unwelcoming. Because of the delay we had to opt for quicker menu items and for some reason our app and main arrived at the same time. Server did not come over at all after dropping the food off to check on us, thankfully food was good. For the price I would expect better service, also for reference we were both dressed appropriately for the venue, I work in Bank and was in a dress shirt. When back to the Ned for work lunches I’ll remember to pass on this restaurant and recommend others do the same if service or even a, “how’s your day, how’s your meal” is important to you

Not worth the prices, expensive, just like the area it's in very over stated. Very poor dining experience. I was expecting a far better experience regarding the food and service, not like the restaurant in Mayfair which I've been to several times.

We were served today by Emilia.J. The service was amazing. Our table was continuously cleared and set with fresh cutlery. The food was fresh and the options were really great. We were two adults and two children. Our children loved the selections and enjoyed the fine dining! We will definitely be coming back.I would definitely suggest going for the brunch.

The food here was rubbish. £30+ for the lobster pasta and I could of cooked a better one at home - infact I did the following evening. 2nd chance at cecconis and I won't be returning for further disappointment. However, the staff here from front of house to the servers were extremely lovely and charming. £200 meal for 2 people and it was trash :D

One of the best Italian restaurants in London. Lobster ravioli and agnolotti with truffles are 10/10. However, vitello tonnato and limoncello baba were quite mediocre.

Had a fabulous meal and time with our whole work team. There was live music, good food, a magician, a great server (Sufian, who spike perfect Italian). Highly recommend.

Quality establishment. Known for their Italian but I would get the Lamb Chops!

Really nice atmosphere. The live band adds an amazing touch. We requested a dish that they used to have in their menu. Although they didn't had it they helped us order something similar . I recommend the profiteroles. A ma zing.

Nice city lunch, expertly cooked and served.

Devastating how terrible the “Sunday feast” was. We went on Easter Sunday and total was £418 for 3 people, 1 bottle of sparkling water, 1 half pint and a cocktail. Everything you see online is just a hype and overrated. You can easily get the same quality if not better, at other buffet style establishment for half that price. Yes granted the actual building is amazing but where Cecconis is located is very blocked off and you can’t see anything, not even the live band playing. The best part of that buffet was the salad section. For £110 pp you would expect other areas to be amazing but nope, £110 for salad. Attention to detail was poor. For the duration of the 2 hours we stayed, they did not bother to refill the lemon wedges that went with the lobster, so it was very bland trying to eat extremely cold lobster with no dipping sauce or lemon to give it a little bit of flavour. I did ask for lemon wedges, which they brought to us when we asked for the bill. They could’ve included tea or coffee with that price but again no, £5pp for tea. Would not recommend and expect to be disappointed if you are going for “Sunday feast”.

Started of with a not so good and overpriced starter of calamari; I’ve had way better calamari for less. Also the attitude of one of the male servers was a bit passive aggressive. Despite that, the main and dessert made up for it, and the other female servers were lovely and patient. I loved the live music and the vibe and atmosphere of the whole place in general.

Had 8PM reservations at Cecconi’s last night. Restaurant was pretty empty, asked to sit in a corner booth and the hostess said there was a party of three reserving that spot but no one ever came the entire night we were there (we left around closing). Took them a while to come to our table to take our drinks orders. When they did come we ordered espresso martini and a vodka martini. Definitely regretted the espresso intake last night, heart was racing. Two is more than enough. The espresso martini was sooo good we ended up ordering seven of them. The vodka martini was very different compared to what we are used to; not bad but didn’t order again. For our starters we ordered the San Daniele, Gnocco Fritto, Focaccia bread w/ olive oil, Buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil pizzette, and the Beef Carpaccio. The focaccia bread tasted a bit stale so we ended up telling the waitress and she was kind enough to take it off the bill. The beef carpaccio was good but needed some more dressing, and tasted a bit plain. The pizza was very very tasty. The sauce and mozzarella on top were delicious. But the SAN DANIELE WAS TO DIE FOR. My boyfriend and I were so obsessed we were going to go again for dinner to just order that. It was fried dough almost like zeppolis with thinly sliced prosciutto. SOOOO GOOD!! For our meals we got the Veal Milanese and the Cacio e Pepe. Both tasted amazing. The veal could have been a little thinner and needed salt but when we squeezed extra lemon it tasted good. I asked for the cacio e pepe with less black pepper and they listened. Cooked to perfection and tasted sooo good. The pasta was al dente just how I like it. For dessert we got the Profiteroles, amarena ice cream. Looked so good on Instagram pictures but when we tried it, it wasn’t for us. The ice cream in the middle tasted icy and the profiterole itself was hard. They came to the table and poured hot chocolate sauce all over, very nice but still didn’t help with taste. They were kind enough to also take that off the bill since we both only took one bite. If we are ever in London again we would definitely love to come back. Located inside of the Ned Hotel, has romantic vibes with dimmed lighting and live band. Loved it!

We went twice for the fest at Cecconi on Sunday. We find it quite tricky to book for table there as the demand is quite high. They charged £90 per pax and it is a buffet setting and comes with a glass of beverage of your preference(Prosecco, champagne, beer) Ambience: I would say the seating area it is clean and nice, live jazz music while you dine, could be abit of noise if you sit nearer to the band. Service: Might need some improvement on the service, we see the waiter walking here and there but they just wouldn’t clean our plates after we finish for rounds. Could be more attentive given the price you charged us is service inclusive. Food: Good selection given that this is in London😂 I mean I wouldn’t have sky high expectation for buffet in London, but I’m quite happy with the selection at Cecconi. The selling point is they offer unlimited lobsters, fresh oyster, prawns and smoked salmon. Taste of the seafood is fresh at least, it’s a eat-all-you-can so I wouldn’t fault it the way it cooks, I am happy as long as it is fresh. The rest is just mediocre dish such as variety of salads, lasagne, hot pastas, pizzas and nice selection of dessert as well. I really do enjoy the pana cotta, tiramisu and profiteroles! Bummer is they don’t offer a free coffee/tea to compliment with your dessert…you have to pay for extra if you want to have a hot drink later. Overall was quite a pleasant meal at Cecconi the Ned! I would recommend my friends and would revisit again(not in next few month as I had way too much lobsters since my last visit😂)

I feel bad leaving this review as the bar staff is amazing but this place seriously suffers from a bad attitude of its hostesses (front of house). We were two (women) looking for seats at the bar and there were only a couple of single seats left (apart). She insisted the policy was no standing at the bar. A few minutes later we found a spot and then witnessed a man STANDING to join his two (male) friends. When I pointed out this inconsistency in the “policy” she shrugged and said I should be happy as I now have two seats at the bar. Shame on her.

Scam. Absolute scam. Came here for the buffet. Before we even sat down the waiter poured us champagne and then charged us $10 a glass. Our bill for the buffet should of being about $200 came to $270with tip. I’m I will never be back. The food at the buffet was not even worth $200…it was bland. nothing spectacular for the price. I’m so disappointed.

Great Italian restaurant! From wood fired pizzas to lamb chops, the menu is exciting and the wine menu is delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is perfect as you feel like you're in an intimate setting whilst feeling the buzz of the restaurant. One of my favourite restaurants

Terrible hostess who wouldn’t allow me to check my coat (the coat rack was completely empty by the way) - I wanted to avoid hanging a bulky winter coat on my bar stool so as not to get in the way of other patrons and staff. What a terrible attitude (I had to ask several times) and she didn’t realise I was trying to be polite towards others. Love the restaurant and all the other staff ans I come regularly, but that hostess is inappropriate for this type of establishment.

You can't beat this place for a cocktail. Although a tad on the expensive side, I love watching the swing vand on a Friday night. I would describe this place as the Great Gatsby of London.

We tried the Sunday feast which costs £90per person, with the price tag I expected the food to be a lot better than what it was. Yes the lobsters and oysters are unlimited but the lobsters were SO OVERCOOKED it’s chewy. Hot dishes are generally poor too, pasta is under seasoned, lasagna less than mediocre, Yorkshire pudding is burnt, selection isn’t huge and a lot of them are just salads… desserts were just horrendous, so bad that supermarket desserts can easily beat it. Both me and my partner were just very disappointed. Service is decent but could be more attentive. live music is WAY to loud and not very good, rather listen to Spotify.

The food and ambience are excellent. As a high end restaurant, you should be ready to pay expensive prices for the dishes however.

Excellent service and the atmosphere was lovely (Saturday lunch with a jazz band). The food was good but not amazing (sadly the profiteroles were dry).

We are back home in Sydney now – the end of our 2 month holiday in Europe – but before we left London last Tuesday, we celebrated with a late lunch at one of our London faves Cecconi’s, in the beautiful Ned Hotel. If you haven’t been I highly recommend it as one of the most beautiful establishments around - from start to finish, around every corner, there is yet more to adore. Restaurants, cafes, bars… I will write a separate review about The Ned. We’ve eaten here several times - the food always consistently good. The staff less so unfortunately, though I should say, there is a pecking order of levels here, from basic servers to more senior waiters - this time we were lucky & our waiter was a dream - he dealt wonderfully with all my nitty gritty questions, knew all the answers and helped me so much, with no attitude whatsoever. He welcomed & in fact encouraged my questions, which is extremely rare! Wayne had a delicious Chardonnay - Cervaro Chardonnay, Castello della Sala, Umbria, which at £19 per glass you’d hope so! My non-alcoholic Punchy was perfect. We shared 2 entrees which were delicious - the Vitello Tonnato is one of the best. Very generous serve – tender & the sauce just right. Our mains were superb as well - my pasta was cooked al dente & the cheese was so refined. Personally I think a thinner pasta works better to soak up more sauce but it was delicious all the same. Wayne’s Veal was so tender & tasty. Rarely can we fit in dessert - how do people do it!

A very fancy and formal restaurant. The selection of wine was great, only complaint was that the main course meat was not of a very high grade and was too over cooked. I think I would have had a better experience had I gotten a different entrée to be fair.

Beautiful place for a luxury night in London.

The grandeur of the old banking hall and the sympathetic decoration is a beautiful if austere setting. The open plan cafe style layout of tables and chairs is quite dense. Well appointed and smart they serve a good breakfast with grace, and a nice cup of coffee. Could be more cosy and private.

Nice restaurant, very nice friendly staff,I had the crab ravioli, which was tasty,just enough on the plate less is more,my partner got the lobster spaghetti, on the whole it was not too bad, not much lobster on the plate to spk of,...I wouldn't order that dish again...quite pricey fir what you get...I come from an Italian background and feel its hard to capture the true taste of Italy...so on the whole it was a good experience, however I wouldn't go back there again as there's far better Italian restaurants elsewhere..
