Lovely venue, great food and fantastic server called Laura, who could not have been more upbeat and friendly!! She was brilliant.

Ordered chicken Calabrese. Chicken breast was cold . Waitress took away to give me a fresh one. Same issue . There were 4 tables in. Unsure why they couldn't even re heat the chicken properly. The potatoes were like lava .

Booked a table and asked for a table on terrace. Arrived to find the terrace was closed so disappointed. Carla the manager could see my disappointment and kindly opened up the terrace for us which was unexpected but very much appreciated. We were then served by Levi who had an extremely helpful, polite and upbeat manner and was excellent. The food was great as usual. The cheese fondue starter is the best. Great food and exceptional service, will return (for a table on the terrace!) well done and thank you team at Zizzi.

Went here for my birthday with family on the 20th August. We had a really nice server who absolutely deserves the world, unfortunately i didn't get her name!! We were sat on a round middle table right in the middle of the restaurant and there was 6 of us. I had the lasagna which was so good definitely would come back for more, everyone else had the bolognese and the pizza. Let me tell you the pizza is such a bargain for what you get! You even get a personalized pizza cutter!!! For dessert I had a chocolate ice cream and the server even stuck a candle on it and sang Happy Birthday! Thank you so much would definitely consider coming back! Please find her she was so nice and definitely deserves a promotion

Laura at Zizzi's provided outstanding service during our recent visit. She was warm, attentive, and ensured our meals were perfect. What truly impressed us was her willingness to keep our leftover pizzas warm until we could collect them later in the night. Laura went above and beyond, making our evening memorable. Zizzi's is lucky to have her.

Gorgeous lunch today for my mums birthday and outstanding service from Marta who helped make her birthday really special. Will definitely return again.

21st Birthday lunch - Zizzi's were very accommodating, helped look after cake & allowed us to decorate the table (which we were allowed to choose by going in late morning). Excellent service from all staff, great menu and excellent food. Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Visited Zizzi in Bournemouth with my family and as usual the food was excellent and extremely good value. I have always had a great experience in any Zizzi restaurant I have visited, but the service we received this time was outstanding, a lady with blonde hair was our server and she was the most friendly, professional and efficient person I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. The entire family commented on how she made our visit so enjoyable and welcoming, unfortunately I didn't get her name but we visited on Saturday 4th May at 5 pm. She is a great ambassador for your restaurant, I wish all restaurant had people like that, it would be so much more enjoyable. Thank you.

Went for our friends birthday. 12 of us. Quite nice atmosphere. Waitress got a couple of things wrong, not a big problem. But when we went to pay, and it was a lot of money, they said we don't take cash. So we all had to rethink what we were doing. Then we see the extras added on the bill. £33 suggested tip, not happening. 10% added because there was more than 6 of us. We paid but non of us are going back. Spoilt the evening for us.

Service staff were lovely, food options were great, restaurant was clean. However, the chef was not great, food came out like warm and the pizzas were not quite cooked.

The food was so delicious and came out really quickly! The staff are all lovely but our server Laura was brilliant, lovely person and very attentive.

Lovely lunch on Friday. Very warm welcome from Laura. She made us feel really at ease and gave us just enough time between corses that we didn’t feel rushed or that we were waiting too long. Great service.

Had the most lovely meal here last week food never disappoints and the service is always spot on. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Bournemouth.

The best Zizzi we have visited so far- we were welcomed straight away by the lovely Laura (a huge asset to the team, she made our whole meal very enjoyable) and she sat us at our choice of table. My gluten allergy was catered to amazingly, nothing was a problem. We had the set menu and 2 soft drinks, the drinks came straight away and the pace of the food was perfect. For starters we had the Bruschetta and gluten free vegan meatballs, both were delicious. For mains we had half and half sticky pig pizza (my husband loves this) and gluten free spaghetti chorizo carbonara (with extra parmesan). For dessert we had chocolate melt and gluten free salted caramel brownie. The food was more than delicious, the restaurant was lovely and clean and the atmosphere was very good. We will definitely visit again when in Bournemouth - thank you Laura and team!

We came to Zizzi as we were with our kids (13 years old) and wanted somewhere they would like the food. I honestly thought it would be a bit like Prezzo (which has really gone downhill) but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were really helpful - the kids wanted main courses but without chillies and one with a different sauce and they were happy to accommodate. We had 3 courses and all were excellent. It was tasty, well presented and plentiful. I will definitely go back.

Came in for dinner with my girlfriend. To begin with we had to wait ages to get seated. After eventually being seating, we had to wait even longer to be served. The staff seem very uninterested and cocky. It took the blonde waitress 20 minutes to bring us the drinks we could see from the bar (I understand if they were busy but there was more staff than customers) Once the food arrived my prawns came out raw and were still grey. The mains were cold, hard and tasteless. We would’ve let the waitress know but no one bothered to do a check back on us. We will not be returning. We had to order ourselves a curry when we got home as still hungry.

We went there on Christmas Eve with the whole family, eight of us. A mixture of adults and children. Straight from the start the services was great and Laura our waitress was helpful and very friendly....excellent. The food was good and we had a fantastic time. Thank you guys.

I’m not a huge fan of big chain restaurants in the centre of town but we enjoyed a really great Christmas Eve with friends here. We were party of 8 and had fantastic service by LAURA. She is genuinely a really lovely smiling lady and even though it was really busy we didn’t need to flag her down once for more drinks or food orders. The food was really good too.

We always have a fab time in Zizzi, but last night Marta R made our evening. She was attentive despite being rushed off her feet as it was packed. Was amazing !

Just returned from Zizzi Bournemouth. Booked this morning as expected it to be busy. Arrived to be seated by very nice staff. We’re left waiting for a very long time. Staff were rushed off their feet not enough staff. Waitress informed us all things on the menu highlighted in red were unavailable , there were quite a few and we were there very early evening. Waited a very long time for meals, have been to Zizzi in various towns including Bournemouth many times. This is the first time in 2 years because of Covid. Well don’t know what’s happened to Zizzi. Food was diabolical. Calamari was tough and tasteless (which we did mention). My Salad came without dressing which I was informed was not available. Pizzas were very mediocre. Very dissatisfied. Staff were very scarce, but pleasant.

I have visited Zizzi today (9.12.2021) and the food was delicious, as always. Even if was not very busy I was impressed with the lady chef working, on her own, and delivering such good food quality.

My Husband and i had a meal here on Wednesday evening. They were very busy but we booked before we went - obviously a good thing. The service was excellent. Our waitress was called Marta C, She was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her. She sorted out my wrong order quickly. She was very busy but I noticed how kind she was to other diners around us. She was polite and funny and left us with a very good lasting impression of Zizzi's in Bournemouth. Went here with my partner for lunch and whilst the food could not be faulted I was slightly disappointed with the service.The Waitress who took our order was lovely and very chatty but when the bottle of wine and jug of water arrived they were just 'plonked' down on the table by the Waiter. I would of expected the water glasses to be filled and the wine poured.That said we did enjoy our lunch and would certainly return here again in the future.

Disappointed. We have been to Zizzi’s a fair bit and this was the worst meal we have had. The menu was being changed in a few days so they didn’t have the 2 things I wanted. So went for bruschetta, which turned out to be 50 poorly cut tomorrows and red onion on some half toasted bread. My husband had the wild boar meatball starter and it was swimming in watery tomato sauce. The kids starter was cold cut carrots that had dried out and cut poorly. My chorizo carbonara was nice but nothing special. Hubby had his usual pizza but was too much ricotta and it went sloppy. Shame because we have had some cracking meals there. Hope it was just a one off.

The Crystal Palace of restaurants, never really going to challenge the likes of Nando’s and Five Guys are the top end of the restaurant list, but a consistent good meal. Does the job, and works well. A little too pricey for my liking but each ti their own. Good Food, Good Staff, Good Job.

Given that this restaurant is part of a chain, we weren't expecting a top class experience but that's what we got. We went with our grand-daughter, 8, and the thing that stood out for us was how good the staff were with her. Nothing was too much trouble, they made her feel really special which made the meal all the more enjoyable for us. We had pizzas and an ice cream for the little one. All were good quality and came within a reasonable time. it was nice to be able to watch what was going on in the kitchen too. Another plus was - the staff all seemed to be enjoying their work and getting on well with each other. All in all a lovely experience.

Came here as had some Tesco vouchers to use up. Not been here for a years due to previous poor experience. Were not disappointed this time! Got a table on the outside veranda which was perfect. Drinks and food ordered quickly through ‘speedy order’ service. Fonduta Formaggi was great sharing starter, would have been too much for one. Olives fantastic. Had pasta della casa for main and spag pomodora which were both great. Dominica was very bright and cheery, welcoming us in and ensured we had everything, aswell as Antonio who was very friendly and checking we were ok. Great service and thank you Zizzi. Will be returning asap.

This is the first time at this restaurant the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and authentic, from starters to desserts the drink and wine selection all fantastic, spaghetti carbonara was the best I have ever had .we took our time and didn't feel rushed. We had a meal at Zizzi for the first time in Worcester a few months ago. We were taken there by our family who live there and It was a lovely meal sitting outside as it was before the restrictions were fully lifted.On a few day away in Bournemouth we noticed the had a Zizzi too so we decided to book a table having made sure they could cater for me with Gluten Free too.We had the same meal as Worcester, GF Margarita Pizza for me and Wild Boar and Pork meat balls with Pasta for my husband. Our friends enjoyed what they had too.The staff were lovely and very attentive and it was a really pleasant experience,

although we didn't book a table, the staff accommodated us as we had just traveled down from the north . as always food was excellent

We chose this restaurant for family lunch as we were in Bournemouth. The location is in the city centre and very close to NCP car park. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick and excellent. The ambience was very good and the food was of high standard.

This was a family night out - myself, Chris, His sister Diane and her Husband, Carl.We were greeted promptly, and shown to our extra large table- we needed some space. Drinks were ordered, and were quickly forthcoming. Once they arrived, we ordered food.Diane and Carl had the Port & Wild Boar polpette -and wished they had them for their main's as it was so good!. Chris had Bruschetta, which was a goos starter for him. I had the Mushroom Brindisi, and they were really good.For Mains, Diane and Carl had the Lasgne, which they enjoyed, except Diane did not like the breadcrumb topping. Chris had the Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara, which he ate with gusto - most unusual for him. Carl also had a Rustica Margheritta pizza as well - he said he was hungary, and he does eat a lot! Diane and Chris also had a slice. I had the Rustica Gamberone and Chorize, which was more than enough for me - I wanted to leave room for one of their fantastic desserts!Diane and I both had a portion of Homeycomb Cheesecake, which though quite light, was also very rich, and filled in those little gaps left! Carl and Chris had nothing. The bill, including Tip, food and drink came to £150, which we all thought was good value for money. The service was excellent, and it was a shame that it was our server's last shift - she was leaving to join a vets practice!

Food was okay, as expected for a chain, but customer service was outstanding. Couple of dishes were late for starter and main and my daughter didn't like her pasta. The staff communicated throughout, checking back and noticed the partly eaten pasta. They asked if we wanted a replacement and removed it from the bill without even telling us or being asked.The staff should be recognised for their outstanding service and for succeeding in customers returning regardless of some kitchen glitches.

Have used Zizzi all around the country but have to say Bournemouth Zizzi has to be the worst I ever been too.Ordered Calzone carne piccante £ 12.95 What came instead is the roast calzone pollo spinach.It came out with the wrong filling and hardly any filling in it and to top it of it was burnt on top.Also ordered pasta Della casta Over cooked and dry with very little chicken and bacon in the dishWe did complain and they took the price off the bill for the CalZone along with two drinks , Expect better from Zizzi never had a problem before with Zizzi

Stupidly we forgot to book anywhere so stumbled upon Zizzi’s. Despite it being late and despite it being busy, we’re were accommodated beautifully. The waiting staff were great throughout and found space for our table of 5.The food and drink was great and the service first class… would definitely recommend to those seeking some Italian cuisine in Bournemouth!

Really pleasant staff ...attentive but not overbearing. Food was great and whilst a tad expensive for this type of food, it was hot, well presented and tasty.

This is how all chain restaurants should be run. From start to finish this was a fantastic place to eat. The Peroni came out with ice cold glasses. The carbonara is simply the best we’ve eaten and the Rustica Piccante was amazing! Great service and a lovely kids menu with carrot and cucumber sticks with pesto dip, how nice to have something healthy, rather than the standard beige kids food, like so many other places. This was the last meal of our Bournemouth holiday, and one of the best.

Went here twice whilst in Bournemouth on holiday (for 5 nights) as they offer GF food and I know what to expect having visited my local Zizzi many times. As usual great food and great service too.

We went in here for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon so it was pretty quiet.There were no menus outside of the restaurant so we asked our meet and greet host if we could view a menu before deciding wether we wanted to eat there. He was fine with that and there was no pressure. My daughter has problems with dairy so he gave us an allergy information booklet to take to our table once we had decided to stay.Unfortunately the one thing she really wanted was not on the menu of this particular restaurant so she settled for a vegan ragu which we were then informed they had sold out of. There was very limited choice without dairy and in the end she had a bowl of pasta with a tomato sauce, it was ok but nothing special.I had a fantastic goats cheese ravioli which was amazing.There was a nice selection of alcohol free drinks on the menu too.Our waiter was lovely, we asked him so many questions and he did lots of checking with the chef for us, he was really patient and polite.If you are ok to eat anything then this is a good place to go, but if you have a problem with dairy maybe give it a miss.And please, a word of advice to Zizzi…..don’t let people spend hours deciding what they want to eat only to tell then you’ve sold out. Tell them before they even look at the menu.

I came here with a group of my friends to enjoy dinner together. The food came out so quickly and it tasted amazing, we all loved our dishes. Best Zizzis out there! The staff were so lovely and efficient and we had a brilliant time together. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
