Zizzi in Coventry

Amazing food..we had 3 courses for £26.50. The garlic bombe is a must however quite filling for a starter!! Great portion sizes!! Pizza rustica was delicious although couldn't finish it all but was given a takeaway box for it and the fudge cake was amazing. Brilliant service from Arianna xx

All in all this is a pretty average place. It's the service and the atmosphere which really draws up the marks. No cash accepted, food was bland and took its time on a quiet day. Let's talk food. Some dishes were ok but most were pretty bland and everything was heavy on tomatoes! The price was high for what you got. Yet it may have been a one off, hope you have a better experience. Enjoy.

Always happy when I leave, never heard any complaints from fellow diners and they can be fussy at times. Service was excellent on a not busy Friday afternoon. I tried the beef brisket and venison stefado, it was a joy.

Coventry Zizzi was great with the Calamari cooked perfectly, along with some great value wines. The pasta dishes are also delicious. The location and decor of this Zizzi is one of the best in the region. Service was also excellent.

Two of us visited for an early dinner. Nice food and good service, especially as we were taking our time. Good central location and decent predictable value.

This wasn’t our first time at Zizzi Coventry, but we love coming back here. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect. We'd like to thank Amelia for yesterday's service—she was very kind, and her professionalism made us leave even more satisfied than usual 😊

Lovely setting by the Godiva statue, delicious Italian fare. The crispy prosciutto carbonara is out of this world! The only thing that lets Zizzi down is the same as with everywhere else - the steady incline in price. Can only go as a once in a while treat with Clubcard vouchers

So, my friends and I, who are all international students, decided to try Zizzi in Coventry before we start our classes tomorrow. We arrived around probably 6 PM, and the place was absolutely packed!!! Despite how insanely busy it was, the service was amazing. Our server, a super friendly blonde lady, handled everything perfectly. She answered all our questions about the menu with a smile, which was impressive considering how swamped they were. We noticed the guy by the kitchen, juggling four plates in his arms quite impressive. Drinks came quickly, and we were given some free spicy crisps to snack on while we waited. When the food arrived, it was fantastic. Forgot the name but it was a Spicy Chicken Pasta had the perfect amount of heat, and the Stick Pig Pizza was huge and perfect for sharing. We were stuffed. Overall, it was a stellar experience. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back great start to my uni experience.

We visited zizzi on Monday 16th at around 5:30-6pm and were very disappointed with our experience, firstly we got sat down without a problem, however when our order got taken we felt uncomfortable with the attitude from who we believe may have been a supervisor/manager as she wasn’t wearing uniform, I have a dairy intolerance but this is not an allergy so I didn’t feel I needed to say at the door as we were asked about allergies, I ordered a vegan margarita but wanted to add chicken and she then asked me if I was dairy intolerant, I said yes and then she said that’s why asked at the door and I said I didn’t feel the need to say as it was only an intolerance and the attitude I received wasn’t acceptable, for the rest of our visit we felt very uncomfortable and discriminated against and we saw our food sat up on the side for a while and when we recieved it, it was cold, however we didn’t get checked on when eating our meal, and felt we were abandoned. Me and my sister both work in the hospitality industry and we feel this was an unacceptable level of customer service.

Went to Zizzi Coventry as a last minute plan but it turned out to be one of the greatest dining experience. Meri and Amelia regularly checked up on us asking if our food was okay and if we were having a good time. Jay, our pizzaiolo had put special care and dedication into making our food. We definitely suggest on taking jay’s recommendation’s for pizza and salmon pasta is a must try. Hope you have a good time like we did!

I come here a lot with friends and I love it eveytime I do, the atmosphere is great and it looks lovely inside when it’s dark out and you can see all the lights and decor around. I do order the same dish every time I come and have never had a problem with it, they never take long to bring out the food and the staff are always happy to be there, it’s definitely one of my favourite places to come, Would always recommend :)

Lovely visit - they have a great gluten free range, I can’t believe I had the choice of pizza or pasta! I had the gluten free “Primavera” and thoroughly enjoyed it, washed down with a gluten free Peroni - yummy! After a wonderful meal, I thought my afternoon couldn’t be improved but, on the way back to the car park, I saw the most incredible thing that I just have to share. I looked in the windows of that old “elephant” building and saw what I can only describe as a face hanging in mid air inside, almost glowing. It stopped me in my tracks for a good few minutes - I was trying to figure out what it was or who put it there! I had to call my husband back over to be sure I wasn’t seeing things!

Lovely atmosphere and Arianna who served us was lovely. Prompt service. Risotto was delicious, ravioli was good but not warm enough which is the only reason I dropped a star. Baked cheesecake dessert was really tasty. Thank you!

Last night, I had an exceptional dining experience at Zizzi. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff there name SERGIU and seated promptly. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Rustica pizza, and it was cooked to perfection—thin, crispy crust with generous and fresh toppings. The starter dishes my friend had was equally impressive, bursting with authentic flavors. We also indulged in the lemon cheesecake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. What truly stood out was the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our glasses were always full and our needs met with a smile. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Overall, Zizzi exceeded my expectations in both food and service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be returning soon!

The food, although tasty, was overpriced and small in portion size. The Risotto was a small portion in a large dish as was the childs bolognese. The service was ok but a bit slow despite the restaurant being fairly empty.
