Delicious food, good variety of vegan options. The kids meal was in great size for my 6 and my 8 years old. The vegan dishes were marked by a sticker. The service was friendly and welcoming.

The food was very good and it came really fast. Magda was patient with the kid orders. Also, the children's activities were really good. Large vegan menu.

I had a positive experience! I was seated quickly for a Friday night with no reservation. Server Alex was very attentive and was prompt in bring order very quickly after placing it and in checking that the meal was okay and whether I needed anything else. I was seated near a window the area was a little cool but it was away from the maddening crowd! Food never fails to disappoint and as soon as my server saw I was ready to leave she brought the bill!

Poppy was an amazing waitress! She was so attentive and kind. Would come again!

Came there as a party of six with friends to celebrate one of their 18th on the 25/10/2024, had the sweetest waitress called Ale, who was extremely accommodating and who so graciously was able to put up with me changing my mind throughout, heavily recommend eating here again, with such amazing service and great food in addition to the delightful drinks provided to us from both front of house and back of house. :)

Excellent place for dining. I went with my friends. We fully enjoyed the food. I ate Aubergine Pizza and it was absolutely delight. Mozzarella Garlic Bread with Onions was little sweet, so better to go with chillies (spice lovers). We were taken care by Lucia who was earnest and gave a great recommendation on drinks (just to note we are non alcoholic). This was a second time going to Zizzi (first being in Marlow), enjoyed the food both of the times.

Another excellent visit to what is without a doubt our favourite italian restaurant in Reading. Food is amazing, and the front of house staff is friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Claudia who welcomed us like old friends. 5 star, highly recommended.

The service was uncomfortable. Waiters appeared frustrated and annoyed to serve us at our table, rather than speaking to us we were shouted at which isn’t the warm friendly charismatic service you’d expect. My food was dumped on the side and forgotten about, my boyfriend had to ask if it was ours. It also was uncomfortable and unprofessional of our waiter Lucia to request we all put in a good review for her because if we did her boss promised her two bottles of wine and a desert … she had asked us this before we had even gotten our food as she was finishing her shift early and appeared to have a table booked in the restraint for herself and her boyfriend. It was an unprofessional and selfish request especially when not even ensuring that us, the paying customers have been looked after on our visit.

Not a great experience in here. Service was very slow. Our original waitress Lucia, encouraged us all to leave a review to benefit herself before our food had even arrived - saying she had a bet with her manager that if she could get us all to leave a review she would get two bottles of wine and a dessert for free... An interesting request considering she didn't actually complete our table service this evening. The arancini we recieved with the vegetarian sharing starter had crab in it. Clearly they had mixed up the standard tomato and mozeralla arancini with the specials crab and lemon arancini. But there was no checkback mid-meal for us to flag this as an issue. This could have been a dangerous mistake for a different customer.

The food was great! Can’t fault it at all. Simply tasted amazing! But the service was so disappointing! Not only was the waitress incredibly rude and despite us being polite throughout made us feel very uncomfortable and anxious. We visited yesterday at 7.30pm, the restaurant was almost empty other than one other table so you’d have expected the service to of been better but no. They closed the tills before 9pm despite closing at 10pm so when paying cash couldn’t “give change” so my friend paid by card for the remainder. As despite us both being high tippers usually, there was no way I could of tipped the service! Aswell not child/ family friendly! Toilets are upstairs so not accessible to those with prams or wheelchairs. My son made one noise and the same rude waitress gave him a death stare! Minus the food I’m so so so disappointed!
