Ziafet in Birmingham

Ordered a hot meze of Ziafet and honestly this looks like dog food. Not ordering from here again. So disappointed. Tastes awful salty as well

Even with staff shortage they were trying to give the best service possible. And food was nice.

The food was ok and competitively priced The staff were friendly. I can't say that it is a place I will revisit anytime soon.

I used to be very fond of Ziafet's service and there food used to be of great quality , unfortunately, this "quality" wasn't reflected in my most recent order; The food was cold, dry and Undercooked - chips were hard and chewy (and I did not even order it!) there were sauses nor sides and the bread was tasteless. I am not impressed at all.

The food was excellent that says it all.

Ordered a sarma lamb beyti, takeout. Salad was nice, finely cut and good mix. Bread was ok...went abit hard. Lamb beyti was very spicy with crushed red chillies in it, the yoghurt it came with was like a peri dip as shown in pic. This had very little cheese and the wrapped bread wasnt toasted and was very soggy with the tomato sauce. Very disappointed with this dish...i will stick to Antep kitchen in Oxford. The staff were very friendly and offered tea whilst waiting. You need to work on your food..sorry wont be coming again.

Great service after visting with group of friends. Atmosphere was nice and sharing platters were excellent! Have to give thumbs up to the turkish tea as well :)

Have eaten from here before (over a year ago) and it was so good, good portion size and so tasty, but appears to have gone downhilll. Ordered a platter for 3/4 people (£35) and there was barely any meat, was just enough for 2. It didn’t taste as good as it did when we ordered previously. Meat was bland and ribs were just fat. Was really looking forward to it after it being so long too

The food was ridiculously small and over priced. It had a lack of flavour and was neither fulling nor anything special. After finishing our meal, the waiter who told us he is the younger brother of the owner of the restaurant asked if we're finished and if we should get the bill, this was completely rude as he knew we were in the middle of a conversation and wanted us to leave. I have never been to a restaurant before and told to leave and this was the first time ever. It is fundamentally known inside customer service, that certain customers may use the premise to have a conversation, I'm not talking about for hours but genuinely a 30 minute conversation. I will never return here again. The menu was limited and nothing in particular stood out, nothing was specially Turkish. Do not go here, its overpriced, staff are rude and portions are ridiculously small.

This will teach me to never go to a place by looking at the pictures first. Ordered a big platter and every thing had no flavour. I don't know how they managed to mess it up so bad but the rice, lamb, chicken and wings we're not up to scratch at all. Didnt even offer that much bread for the hummus and drink came very late to. Do not recommend.

Beautiful food 💯& beautiful people !!!💯🙏❤️ I was ordering today 05.05.21 from them by using just eat . For some reason just eat didn’t update my door number , the driver was waiting for me 30 mins out , by the time I noticed that something is wrong ( by the way I’ve got 3 numbers and I keep changing the sim , today I didn’t have that SIM card in the phone) and I apologize for that 😊😅 ANYWAY with all my mistakes ,the driver was waiting outside . And when I seen the email I call them and they were very calm an professional, they just wanted to make sure my food is delivered. And that’s great !!!💯 Thank you 🙏

Can't believe we've only just discovered this place, it's amazing 😃 Can't wait to visit properly when lockdown is over but I'm sure we'll get many more takeaways before then!

The meat some pieces were over cooked & some undercooked. The Adana was awful, was shocked that’s what they classed an Adana. The drinks were flat. But the waiter he was rude, every time I looked over I was getting dirty looks.

WARNING! PLEASE KEEP AWAY UNLESS YOU WISH TO GIVE OUT FREE MONEY😡 so... 3 of us went in to the restaurant and were told that we may have a table for 50 mins only as the tables are already booked. so... we ordered 3 mixed meat wrap meals excluding drinks at £10 each and each glass of drink was for £2.49, I know what your thinking, what a joke! cut it short... that was £37 for 3 wrap meals with the drinks, that arrived 45 mins after making the order! I felt like a human bin given only 5 mins to eat our food. Now the food... the chips were few and crusty, yes just like the 🤡! the wraps we're presented very nicely with undercooked meat inside of them, like chewing on a chewing gum! my niece died of thirst as they would not give her a refil on the drink!! that's correct it's one glass for £2.49, what a joke and to rub salt on our wounds the drinks were poured into tumblers which sell at £1 for 4 at ikea 😡 I really feel that restaurants like this should be shut down and the government should not allow them to enrol on to the 50% scheme because it's places like this that ruin the experience for wanting to eat out and try different cuisine! now I am at work basically with a half-empty stomach, hungry and out of pocket! WHY? Because this restaurant was not worth my money and time. I hope my review helps millions and enjoy reading this review aswel, I wish I could give NO stars but I am afraid that option is not offered.

Had an excellent experience at ziafet today. Food was lovely and it's friendly Service with a smile. Family enjoyed the meal too. Its a nice cosy environment. Will definitely go again. Think I've found my new favourite local 😊

The restaurant environment is cosy and the food is great. Although the tables for two are so small! Not much space to serve more than one dish which is a shame. But the on the house entre was great. We ordered a platter for 2. Best kebabs I've had so far in Birmingham although the presentation was very messy. I understand they were aiming for a rustic touch, but still. And it especially looked messy compared to the presentation of their other dishes . It was also disappointing that they were not serving mocktails at the time. But I'd want to go back to try some of their other dishes.

Food was delicious. Service was poor and slow. We asked for extra bread and the waitress came 10 minutes later with some bread a few seconds later another waiter came and said "sorry wrong table, this isn't your bread". You should never take food off a table unless its the wrong dish. Atmosphere was nice. Overall I would visit again.

Honestly very disappointed, Heard great things about this place and was really excited to come here with the family but it didn’t meet my expectations at all. First they delayed our order, and when it arrived it came raw, lamb was all pink inside and so was chicken, despite waiting so long. Customer service was good and staff was friendly but the food let them down sadly.

Awful. Ordered a platter for 3/4 people. Portion was tiny (easily eaten by 2 people) and the meat was overcooked. One kebab was burnt black on one end and the lamb chops were dry and chewy. The ribs were all fat mostly and hardly any meat. We weren't served the drinks we ordered either which was disappointing. Overall it was very underwhelming

The food was amazing and the service was fantastic first outing since the lockdown but enjoyed 'eat out to help out!'

Food was delicious but I ordered food which was Written 3-4 people for £34.99 but was only enough for 2 people so not happy

I ordered over the phone to make a collection, and actually have to give credit to the whole team, whoever took my order was extremely polite and helpful with recommendations, and when I came to pick it up, I’m pretty sure he was the manager but he gave me amazing service as it was the first time I have ordered from here. Amazing food, amazing service and very affordable, 5* for team ziafet!

Hidden gem. Honestly the most amazing and fresh food. My son is incredibly fussy and was sat at the table quietly enjoying his food. 100% recommend this place best. Lovely clean and fresh food.

Visited this place on a whim as we had just heard about it whilst we were on our way elsewhere. Ordered the hummus starter with lamb ribs and a platter for 1, which was more than enough for two of us, we had to take a doggy bag. Couldn't fault the food at all. Everything tasted fresh, the bread was exceptionally tasty. The owner Ali was very polite, accommodating and we received excellent customer service from him and his staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

I dined here late yesterday evening. Some of the items had unfortunately run out but the owner was very accommodating and replaced them for other items we wanted. The customer service was excellent. It's a new restaurant and the decor was lovely. Everything was nice and clean. The food wasn't bad but there was room for improvement. The owner seemed very receptive to the feedback so I imagine this place will get better with time. Worth a try.

Food was nice. However, as it was quite late (10pm) there was limited food. Restaurant was quite cold, which I assume was due to a faulty door which kept opening. Overall, nice food and I will be coming again. Hopefully, I will have a better experience next time.

Great Little Setup With A Warm And Friendly Welcome, The Food Comes Well Cooked And Not Overpowerd With Flavour, Adult And Child Portions Are Worth The Price. Worth A Visit.

I visited Ziafet recently with my family for a dinner and was quite pleased to see this amazing new restaurant that has recently emerged on Stratford Road in Hall Green. It has a modern look, with lovely ambiance & delicious authentic Turkish / Mediterranean food on the menu. Especially, the service delivered by the staff made this restaurant really stand out. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I really loved everything about this place. The decor was nice, service was amazing and the food lived up to the hype. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting good Turkish food. 5*

Warm and friendly greeting by lovely owner Restaurant was busy and got seated by window we kindly asked to be moved as soon as a table was available, quick service, good customer service and very clean ! FOOD Me and my boyfriend ordered the plater for two and the ( Cold meze starters that came with lovely hot bread and dips Food didn't take too long to come the meats was packed full of flavours and two different types of rice We ended our experience with the best Turkish tea I've proberbly had in a while HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Excellent little, must visit restaurant. The food was exceptional, fresh and full of flavour. Authentic turkish cuisine. Will be returning there on our wedding anniversary.

Decided to try something different. Was really happy that I did. What a gem. Walked in and was warmly greeted by the owner. Was seated and ordered. The food was amazing. The lamb was tender. The chicken was juicy. The stand out for me was the salad. Fresh. Tangy. Took me straight back to Istanbul. Will be a frequent visitor.

After being recommended by a friend to visit ziafet I can truly say it exceeded my expectations.Being new to Turkish food I didn't know what quite to expect but I can say the food tasted amazing. It was grilled to perfection. the restaurant decor offered great picture opportunities and the all the staff and manager were on the ball providing excellent service throughout the time I was there. would definitely recommend this to all!
