An unassuming restaurant with simple delicious food and hearty portions. We visited for lunch and it was busy but the service friendly and speedy - note you must help your self to cutlery, side plates and napkins etc. We tried the beef noodle soup and two plates of dumplings (one fried). The beef noodle soup had fresh noodles, melt in the mouth chunks of beef, and a tasty beefy broth. The dumplings had wonderful home made wrappers and a tasty pork and cabbage filling. We will visit again soon to explore more of the menu!

Best Soup and Good Selection of Chinese dishes not found on your typical chinese takeaway

I popped in on Friday night on my way home from work and had the braised beef noodle soup. Was a great portion and v tasty. Beef was cooked to perfection, soft and you could tell it had been slow cooked nicely. Looking forward to trying some different dashes on the menu.

Very authentic local Chinese cafe. I wish I'd had time and capacity to work through the menu. Chili oil, soy and vinegar on the table which is always a good sign. Low priced.

The refurbishment they took is quite nice, it feels a lot brighter in here! The food is irresistable as always, but I’d like music to be played as it’s quite awkward sitting silently waiting for food lol. Good restaurant overall!

My friend recommended this restaurant for authentic Chinese food. Yes, she's right. I feel like the more central China, not fancy high-street Chinese. They added some cumin to the beef noodles which reminds me of Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan. I'll definitely come back to the restaurant to explore more dishes. I went there last Thursday (15th August 2024 around 18:30) and it was closed. Assuming that some refurbishment was going on. I'm not sure when they are back on business.

No frill dine in or takeaway, food’s authentic and on point. We visited on a rainy Friday evening and the place was packed. It did take long for us to be seated. It’s semi-self service so you have to grab your own utensils, bowls, plates, and water cups at the back of the restaurant. We tried both the steamed and pan fried dumplings. The steamed dumplings were like soft chewy pillows with a wonderful filling. The pan fried version offered a crispy skin and filled with juicy mince. Stir fried Chow Mein had tons of wok-hay. The noodle soup with beef shank in plain broth was soothing for the raining weather, beef was tender, noodle was chewy,and broth was flavourful. The Northeast Three Fresh was nicely done. Salt and pepper squid was crispy. We will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Be patient as there’s only one chef working the kitchen.

What a surprise !!!!! Don’t be fooled by the looks. Honestly it does apply to this restaurant. The food is real good and the service TOP CLASS. I ordered a takeaway and when I went to collect my order, I was greeted with a smile. It’s a must place to try folks if you fancy Chinese cuisine. I would have added photos but it was completely gone before the idea came in my mind as most of the time I get disappointed. I will most definitely repost with photos the next time I order. But guys this restaurant is a go to place even for a bowl of noodle with soup. Good luck team Zhenghao. Keep those delicious dishes coming.

I was honestly so surprised that this restaurant was rated so highly. The service is so awful! I called up a few days before to make a reservation and I spoke with Grace who wasn't interested in taking a booking until I kindly requested that I'd like to make one as they might be busy on Mother's Day. On the day, I arrived on time and they didn't have any space to sit us down, we had to end up waiting 15 minutes for a table of 2. Once we sat down, we weren't even presented with menu's till I asked for it (5-10 minutes later). Grace also served us on the day and didn't show any enthusiasm or customer service towards anyone in the restaurant, she just served us our food with no cutlery or plates and apparently we had to know that they don't charge service charge, so we will need to get everything ourselves. On top of that, the place looks like it's run down and doesn't even have heating. The only good thing about our entire visit was the food is actually tasty, so I'd recommend this restaurant for a takeaway spot but would never go back for a sit down meal.

VERY GOOD DUMPLINGS. We also loved the oil splashing noodles. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, but don't be fooled by appearances. The flavours here are incredible. Seems like a very well kept secret amongst the locals.

I have been to this establishment several times and sampled many different things. The food is close to authentic Chinese food, the service excellent. There were alot of Chinese people eating here when I attendedl which means the food is on point. The portion sizes are big so I suggest you bring your friends and family.

Noodles in general are good as all chewy. Quantity for Beef Shank and brisket is quite a lot for ladies. Chow mein is good and tasty.

This no frill restaurant delivers on quality of food and affordable prices. There is nothing fancy to the decor but if you are looking for good Chinese food then this is the place. The noodles were so fresh, the flavours were spot on and the servings were really generous. Heads up, they don’t serve any drinks but you can bring your own.

Very good quality Chinese food at excellent price. It's as good if not better as any noodle joint in China Town and it's really nice to have good non Cantonese Chinese good around the Wmbledon area - essentially none before I found here. Sadly no delivery yet but apparently going into Deliveroo in October!

Their noodles and pan-fried dumplings are authentic and traditionally flavored, which I found to be quite delicious. Additionally, the dishes are reasonably priced. recommended!

Not very good at all. The food was very greasy (I don’t think they change the oil in their frier often enough). The meal box was 90% rice and the sweet and sour chicken didn’t really have much flavour.

This place is the perfect for noodles dishes! Very Tasty !

It has a mild, non-irritating taste. Braised beef noodle tastes like rib soup with noodles, and Beijing bean paste noodles, similar to jajangmyeon, are also delicious. The Mapo tofu has a spicy flavor that makes you want to eat, and the tomato egg is also delicious. It looks like they make their own dumplings too.

Most probably the best Chinese in Surrey! Forget the pretentious Good Earth, this place is proper authentic Chinese food, with proper portions and very reasonable prices. This place doesn’t try to be something its not, which I love, as they put all their effort into their food. Their handmade dumplings are one of their must trys, and the portions are just incredible for the prices.

Walk by and you might just miss it, but this little gem serves up some excellent mainland Chinese dishes. The noodle broth was rich, the stir fry's flavour was intense and the dumplings were succulent and a plenty. Great value and highly recommended! FYI you'll need to retrieve the cutlery by yourself and you may need to wait patiently to be served.

It’s a great local Chinese restaurant serving excellent noodle soup bowls for less than a tenner. It can get fairly busy here so better come early.

Very nice and authentic Chinese food, with dishes which are not usually available (such as pig intestines). Plenty to still explore for next visits. Service is a bit slow because there is only one server, but that doesn't in any way diminish the experience. Most importantly, the food is not salty. The jelly fish salad is a must try.

Super super good!!! Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Food was delicious also inexpensive. When I first went to the restaurant, I paid more(I didn't realize that at that time) The owner explained to me that it was changed to another customer's bill. When he found out he advertised looking for me, so I walked by after two months I happened to see it. He gave me the money back and said sorry. I was really touched. I felt it was a very conscious restaurant. Thank you so much. I'll definitely visit again and I'd like to recommend this place. This is a truly conscientious restaurant. The first time I went there, I ordered a few dishes and they said there was a lot of food so I told them to try it before ordering. The portions were plentiful, delicious, reasonably priced, and most of all, the owner was very friendly. Thank you very much. I'll be back soon.

We had Friday dinner. They open till 22:00 on Friday. Seems like noodle dish are popular. We ordered beef noodle, double cooked pork and dumpling. My favorite was the pork cabbage dumplings. All of the dish cooked freshly and good tasty. If I come back again I would like to try other noodle dishes.

I just loved this fiery hot and spicy beef dish accompanied with egg fried rice. Massive portions will take a while to devour. Also, a must to try the Salt and Pepper dishes.

I went with my dad to this restaurant and it was the best🤌🏼👍🏼 We got Spicy Intestines Noodles and for me it was the first time trying it so I wasn't too sure if I would like it.. but one bite into the intestines just changes it all😂 The intestines were fried first and added into the broth and vegetables (carrots, onions, chilli, spring onions, pakchoi, and all the good stuff chopped up) and lastly the rice noodles were added and served to us! The best thing about this is that the rice noodles are easier to digest than ones made with only flour and tastes also very good. I would totally recommend people to come here! I'm also looking forward to trying out different noodles and dishes next time😊

I went to this restaurant yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious. Felt like being back in China. Service was fantastic! The dumplings were particularly good. Very authentic and great value for money. Some of the best no frills chinese food in London.

It’s a humble shop and it has a quite strong beef smell (they probably should consider that but it’s probably due to they cook a lot of beef for soup base and etc), this is quite common in many mom and pop restaurants in China. Will definitely come back for more noodles and try other dishes

Amazing noodles, huge portions and super authentic. Went here once with my friends and it was absolutely delicious! As a fellow Chinese person, I highly approve. The handmade dumplings were gorgeous! 😍 And so affordable, too. The spicy noodles are fairly hot, you have been warned. Dinner service opens at 5PM I think? Not entirely sure if the Google times are accurate, but there should be both a lunch and dinner service I think. Definitely revisiting soon!

I tried the Chinese beef Ramen and it is quite good. The price is acceptable especially when your stomach is homesick.

Genuine Chinese food in local area! Don't expect for prawn cracker or fortune cookies.

First time for me, as usual was shut, food was different but wow, spicy but very well done so not horrible, a lovely chilli mouth for a short while. Would recommend giving them a try. They don't deliver though. But hey, don't live in North Korea.

Lovely hand made steamed dumplings. The lovely lady was making them in the window by hand . The one person serving made the service a little slow as it was quite busy . Will try some soup next time

Love this place! Very authentic and so tasty! We had handmade pork and cabbage dumplings, bowl of braised beef noodle and pork intestine noodles. All were so tasty and of big portions, too. We are lucky to have this gem near our home! I visited them again and ordered oil splashing noodle. Shredded pork, hot and sour soup - all were so tasty! Love their big portions, too!

I've walked past occasionally and was always curious because the smell coming out of the place was always great. So I popped in on a whim with my family and did not regret it. Delicious food and amazing value. Very hard to find menu items in new malden that you won't find from a regular takeaway shop. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

No table cloths, just authentic dishes served in a basic envrionment for those who appreciate flavours and quality. Excellent braised beef noodle soup; tasty stock, lots of noodles and huge soft flavoursome chunks of beef. There were quite a few dishes that looked good so I'll definitely be going back. Friendly and welcoming guy serving and running the place.

Went on Sunday lunch. Quiet, serve was quick. Noodle soup portions was large. Good value for money. The soup based and meat for each noodle soup was tasty. Noodles themselves were a bit thick for my liking and lots of it. Dumpling skin again was a bit thick. Overall, worthy visit. Will definitely try out their meat and vegetables dishes some other time.

Food here really tastes like what is in China. The cook is very good is doing Chinese, maybe more northern style dishes. Although it doesn't have very blink-blink decorations, you can sit comfortably and tables are not close to each other. Highly recommend.

Very large portions and excellent value for money , authentic Chinese had the spicy tofu, jellyfish and cucumber, handmade noodles with braised beef. All very good and I will be back with other family members.

This restaurant's food is really incredible! Seriously some of the best Chinese food I've had outside of China. Everything is super authentic and delicious, plan to come back very soon! Try their Shredded pork in spicy sauce 鱼香肉丝 it's seriously authentic and tasty.

It is different from the usual Chinese takeaway place, as it serves the food the way it would be served in China. The noodles and dumplings are all freshly made and the kids love watching the chef make the noodles when he flings them around his head. Price is reasonable with very generous portions! The owners are very friendly and makes you feel like you are having a meal at a friend's place. Highly recommended!

It’s the most authentic Chinese noodle dishes I can find in London.

The noodles are fresh and delicious, the dumplings are made in house too. I was worried when walking in as they have a low food& hygiene rating. Have to stay i wish the place was a little cleaner. The staff and waiter didint wear a mask. I was just handed chili oil straight from another table. The place is done up very cheaply. Its low budget, food quantity is Huge, taste authentic but I felt unsafe eating there and not convinced its the cleanest place.

Delicious! The handmade noodles were great, we’ll be back for more soon.

I had dinner here last Friday with the family and a friend and we really enjoyed our experience. The food was fresh and delicious. I’m looking forward to dining here again.
