Delicious food for my hangover cure!

The food was alright even though I felt sick after eating. However, the service was not really the best. It seems like the staffs do not have much experience. Worst of all, the price was really disappointing. They put on a service charge for that worst service I’ve seen recently. The food price is not cheap. Ball of rice is for £3!! If this was the only Korean restaurants near here, I would go but I would definitely not go when the whole street is packed with Korean restaurants.

We have tried the bulgogi and soy sauce bulgogi soup. The food is prepared and presented with full aroma. Very authentic Korean food and well recommended Haru.

Great food, fave Korean restaurant in London

The beef broth was delicious and the service was lovely, but the seafood pancake had no seafood in it. We even asked the waiter about it as we thought that they gave us the vegetarian version instead. He could not find any seafood in it to show us, but when he took it to the kitchen, the chef claimed that it was the right dish, even if the seafood was invisible. Oh well. At least the beef soup had beef in it, so it’s just the seafood they are saving on. Don’t get me wrong, It was not bad, it was tasty for a vegetarian kimchi pancake, it just didn’t have the ingredient we ordered and it anted to eat.

As they say, Yukgaejang Kalguksu is good!

The food just healed my soul! Took me back to the time I enjoyed Seoul and brought back so many memories! The food is amazing and the kimchi was delicious. I will come each time I need a break from stress and worries!

Great Bibimbap and Kimchi pancake! Kimchi is very nice also. They have a Korean-style seating area in the back with the short tables for the experience.

I was SCAMMED properly Please don’t follow the pictures from the menu you won’t even get anything close to it the the bawl was 3 times smaller that the menu picture I ordered some soup whit seafood there was few pieces of squid which taste like rubber everything was about SPICE AND a lot of tofu also on the picture there is a egg on top of the soup I haven’t see any egg on my. The guy said egg is on the bottom there was no any 😂😂😂 Paid 12£. For meal worth 5£. DONT go if you don’t want to be scammed!

This is one of my favourite places to get Korean food. The Kimchi Jeon is my favourite, it's so crispy. Staff are really friendly and polite, the vibes are so nice. I especially like coming here in winter to get hotpot. 10/10

We come here all the time and I thought I'd left a review but apparently I have not 🤔 kimchi jeon is wonderfully crispy 20/10 would recommend. Have had the boneless fried chicken, yukgaejang, bibimbap, bibimneangmyeon, kimchi bokkeumbap and probably many other things that I've forgotten and everything is always really good 👍

Very delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Complimentary kimchi when we arrived. It came with The most delicious marinated beansprouts. Small front room and small back room. Toilets are very basic and placed outside, giving a real family business feel. We ordered deep-fried king prawns. Absolutely scrumptious. I had cold buckwheat noodle soup. Simple, refreshing and healthy on a hot summer’s day. My son chose a single chilly spicy chicken with rice and was spitting fire 😀 and also a delicious dish. So take into account that this food is authentic and might be spicier than usual. We are spicy food lovers. We will come back 👌

A secret gem nestled at the heart of korea town. Never thought I would see the day to find such an authentic venue. I recommend the crispy pancake (with green onion and seafood) which hit harder than in Korea or Japan or any other country 🙂‍↔️ Do not miss out, this is a proper place.

After Terrible Burger and Customer service up the road at F&B Croydon a year ago, me, my sister and my friends left and came to HARU for my friends birthday, Travelling all the way from Colliers Wood, where we were given amazing customer service and food by the Korean girl.

Real authentic korean restaurant with excellent customer service and some of the greatest foods served with the most detailed care. It was a magical experience and truly a time i will never forget. This is the best Korean restaurant in New Malden!!!!! Why is there only a 5 star rating? I want to give it 100 stars,, Yukgaejang kalguksu, cold noodles, pork jjabagi, and fried food were all very delicious! I came to England on a trip and was so moved 👍🏻

I would like to give the Yukgaejang Kalguksu Spicy and Clean Pork Jjabagi the title of rice thief. Definitely make a reservation for a repeat visit!

First time trying jiggae soup and it was fantastic! It was served bubbling hot and bursting with flavour, nicely spiced but not spicy. We also got the deep fried seaweed noodle cakes which were crunchy and fresh. The food was served with free and amazing kimchi and pickles. We walked in at 1:45pm on a Saturday to a busy but not full restaurant and were served quick. There is a low table section at the back and regular tables at the front. So much food I couldn't finish it for £18.

I visited this place with my friend after a kpop event a few months ago. We came in here because we really wanted something spicy with some meat. This place has a homey and warm vibe to it. The staff were very friendly and nice. I can't remember the food I ordered but it was soooo delicious and very good. I will definitely come back here again if I'm around the area. Thank you!

Me and my partner were excited to travel to New Malden for new Korean food, and most of the places were closing at 4pm (on Saturday) so we came to this place as it was open, but everything we had was very disappointing and extremely overpriced! We have experience in Korean cuisine and been to many good places but this was just the worst. My partner ordered Dak Gomtang (chicken soup) for £15 and what he got was literally boiled chicken in boiled water with no flavour. This soup is meant to have a lot of garlic but I think they forgot the garlic and ginger… please avoid. My one was spicy chicken with rice but the sauce taste pre-made from supermarket with a LOT of salt and chilli, both of us experienced lot of dehydration. This place is not a authentic Korean restaurant.

The Dakgangjeong is the best I've ever had, so I can say it's the real Dakgangjeong of my life. And Yukgaejang Kalguksu is the best to eat when you miss the spicy taste of Korea because it is deliciously spicy👍 Highly recommended! It’s a taste you’ll miss even when you go to Korea, so be sure to try it!!

I enjoyed the food so much. It was so delicious that I wanted to come back to England just to eat it. The owner is also kind. I noticed that there was a wait sometimes when I passed by! When I went in today, I went in easily :) And the kimchi that comes as a side dish is really delicious, so it's really delicious to eat a piece of kimchi on top when eating kimchi pancake!

New Melden having some many Korean restaurant and Ha Ru is not bad. But a bit small. Peak hour may need to wait i believe

To be honest food is really decent arround the area but the staff is extremely nice , so I will go again , orders 2 soups and one fried chicken. The fried chicken is good for my but my girlfriend doesn’t so it really depends on preference. Soup was really decent .taste normal got a pork back bone soup for 18pounds is quite expensive .I will still recommend to try this restaurant Becoz there is so much more in the menu it might change my mind 😎

I could not taste any flavour of ginseng from the samgyetang, but the japchae and the kimchi pancake were good. Staff members are very nice and helpful.
