Zeugma - Authentic Turkish Restaurant in Manchester

We both visited here and were really pleased with food and service. They gave us additional items such as dips salad and breads and explained they were complimentary. Also they served a complimentary Turkish tea. Very impressed overall.

Lovely food responsibly priced nice portions so polite will be going again with family service was hand on very clean..

When to this restaurant last night, gave us a table for two looked lovely. Then we ordered our food mixed mezze for two, we then told we needed to move table to the back of the restaurant as they would struggled to fit all the dishes on ? So we moved got out drinks and our dips and bread all very nice, Then we waited and waited 45 minutes later food still hadn’t arrived so there would have been plenty of room on our original table for the food, ( couple who sat there after us got their drink, starters and food, while we were still waiting) annoying. We were only approached once for drinks which was when we first arrived. In the end my other half went to ask for the bill, as he was fed up of waiting, then they tried to charge him for the Hot mixed Mezze that had never arrived. Still cost us £35 There was a table of 12 sat behind us, they had been waiting 45 minutes as they arrived while we were being served our bread and dips, still waiting when we were leaving. They had waited 30 minutes for their drinks and then they were dropped all over the floor, ice everywhere, they quickly mopped it up but then they had to wait again for their drinks, still no food had arrived even though they had asked if they could have some bread and dips while they waited still did not get any. Poor people were in for the long haul, not good service when you have booked for a birthday meal. Seem to forget about you if you are seated in the back room. Can get better service elsewhere for cheaper price (Manager look at what’s happening) we all work hard, so when we’re spending our money expect a better service than that. You need your customers to stay open.

We were here for my friends birthday meal, we waited an hour an 15 minutes for drinks, then had to keep asking for our drinks and starters. Starters turned up and there was a hair in one of the starters! The waiter was asking for evidence. They then tried to charge us double the drinks we had! Even after they dropped 5 of the drinks and charged us! Absolutely ridiculous! Never again!!!

Went here for a team dinner last night (29th feb). Oh my goodness - service was a shambles! We were a table of 5 - starters arrived as expected and were ok, then the chaos ensued….. Food for one person arrived…. Suspiciously quick and suspiciously like it had just been taken out the microwave. Just as the first person was finishing their meal 3 more meals arrived….. all lukewarm. Mine…… gone awol :( Repeated requests to staff were to no avail…… no one had a clue. After 90mins my meal still hadn’t shown up so I told them not to bother and made do with the warm white wine. In the end once 4 out of the 5 had finished (I ate somewhere else in the end) their meals we asked for the bill ….. only to find they had overcharged us…….. So……. Average food at best, really awful service……… don’t recommend it
