Food and service here is awful. I used it about three times. The food at first wasn’t bad at all. The second time was pretty bland and the third time just awful. I had a chicken korma and I added potato to it. For that they charged me £2 for two small pieces of potato! The food in general is bland and greasy. Will never go again

Ordered lamb...do not order..very chewy..took ages to chew.. Not the best dish. Also they uses a marker pen to write on lids, put on table, the marker pen stained the table.

We order a Zest every now and then, the food is always great, so fresh, plenty of flavour and not oily like some indian takeaways. It's even great for breakfast the next day! Glad to see that they deliver further afield now too.

Average food and probably the most stingiest takeaway I've ever had. No complementary onion salad, sauces or even a poppadom. Fancied a change from my regular but it wont be here.

Great Chicken Biryani. The chicken's texture was great and the herbs and spices in the vegetable sauce were outstanding! Also no minimum spend and delivery fee!

Really disappointed in this takeaway. Usually go to Mango lounge but thought I would try a new takeaway. Firstly the hour wait turned into an hour and a half. Then the cashier was unable to split the bill. When I looked in the bag that was handed to me I saw that no popadoms had been included (promised these as order over £25) to which a guy than handed them to me and said ‘on the house’. The food itself.......well if you like tubs that are half empty and Indian soup (seriously this food could not be eaten with a fork) than this is your takeaway. So embarrassed as this was a meal with friends and using Zest was my idea. Really disappointed, I have never written a review before but I had to express this!!!

Best part was fast delivery but the food itself was very poor. We didn’t eat much, it went in the bin so a waste of £25!

First time getting a takwawta from here since it opened and Ive got to say the food is amazing and the lads are just as nice. It's fairly priced and decently quick as well. I was talking to one of the lads and he was very nice and happy to have a chat while I waited. Safe to say I will definitely be eating here again

Family owned with both mum & dad working the kitchen at busier times. Service has improved with the grumpy miserable chap who took orders having left. Gets very busy on Friday & Saturday Standard so allow plenty of time when you order, but usually a fast and efficient service. Standard English Chinese takeaway with typical menu, but all of these types of places cook to a formula. There are some gems in there. Don't be put off, though. This is an above average Chinese takeaway. The quality is consistently good, and portion sizes are generous. We enjoy the beef with chilli & blackbean. The char siu or bbq pork is particularly good one of the best I've had, & can recommend the sweet & sour mixed balls. The Thai curries are also good, fragrant with a kick! £15.00 minimum order value on cash orders. Delivery available. You would be pushed to find better in the district, recommended!

Today my sister and I took our stepfather to the Anchor for a Birthday lunch. We had to wait a long time for drinks and food, seemed very under staffed. My sister and I ordered the Chicken Milanese, this dish was horrible.. just chicken in breadcrumbs deep fried and the chips were greasy, we had to order mayonnaise as it was all so dry and overcooked!! It tasted like it had been cooked in old oil and I have had a delicate tummy since!! Our coffee was also old and stewed!! I won’t eat here again!
