Best kfc in the area. Essex not known for fried chicken but this branch rivals the best in London. Not a great dine in experience but doesn’t matter as chicken is great

Kfc is delicious as always, but portions are ridiculously small for what you pay. Was quiet and we waited around 15 minutes for a wrap and boneless banquet.

Always really quick with both service and delivery and quality food every time, would choose over McDonald’s any day. Very kind member of staff offered us a drink for the drive thru wait time

Food was pukka spoke to a gentlemen called palo and he was excellent my card declined and he was very patient with me and helped my experience as a customer, I truly believe he can make a difference to any team in the industry.

The food was actually nice.. just a shame table service includes your tray of food being carried through the family toilet - if you don't get to the checkout quick enough and grab it yoursefl!! Not really hygienic is it...?

Small KFC with driveway through, all good

Very clean and tidy staff were ok. Both mine and my husband's chicken were very salty. Not sure if they had been breaded twice but they were horrid.

Not overly busy here for a Friday evening since it's a little out of the way of the main road, so there was no issue getting a table, staff are friendly and it's KFC, if you're reading this and aren't sure what to expect from a KFC A) I envy you having the first time experience and B) What's the rent situation like on a random cave to live in?

It's KFC , and you get exactly what you expect. Service though was great really friendly and helpful

Great service from the drive through window, courteous and smiling, pity about the food quality, I chucked out the chicken thighs half way through. Fries were OK. I am hoping it was just on that day only that the chicken tasted off.

The worst takeaway ever had,turned up 10.50,waited behind car ,then when seen told only 3 minutes left till shut,then served me the dregs of what was left,fries totally inedible due to smothered in seasoning,twister only half filled,and mini fillet burgers,had no mayonnaise,and no lettuce for mini fillet wrap,absolutely disgraceful, will be sending pics to head office,based on the previous replies,I'm sure there standard reply wanting us to return,and will pass info on,well my answer is no chance I rather eat my toe nails than eat the crap you serve

I’ve ordered from these useless clowns twice in the space of a month (fat of me I know), both times multiple items have been missing from the delivery order! How hard is it to put some chips in a bag? I know it’s not the dream role, but after a 12 hour shift the most the college student could do is place some cold fries into my bag. Useless

A good clean store fast service and very welcoming

It's never as a fast as you'd like it to be.

As with all of the KFC franchises, there seems to be a policy of paying more and getting less. As someone who used to be a frequent visitor, there has been a definite change to smaller chicken portions and smaller portions of fries. With the new automated ordering system, it's almost impossible to specify which piece of chicken you prefer. My elderly father does not eat breast meat, so he refuses to go now. I recently ordered a ten piece family feast only to find it contained 4 drumsticks, 4 wings, 1 thigh, and 1 breast! Who gets all the premium pieces? This was not a feast! Their hot wings are tiny, maybe from a 'sparrow' sized bird. Their shift to this new policy is an insult to their loyal customers as the wings are, in general, a by-product. It is obvious that KFC purchase their chicken by weight and to increase their profit margins their customers are getting less. This is pure greed as they are owned by one of the largest food and drink companies in the world PepsiCo. Independent fried chicken shops, of which there are thousands, are more generous in their portion sizes. How can this be? KFC used to be our favourite fast food restaurant, definitely no longer. Like many who agree with us, we are 'voting' with our feet!

Encourages you to use the kiosk for the blue light discount to work, this NEVER WORKS and when I asked for the manager, he looked at me like dirt and did not want to help in any way. Other managers at different branches would offer some sort of gesture in place of the BLC 10% discount not working, whereas this one needs training on how to speak to people and learn to smile - majority of staff here seem hostile apart from a few. Chicken quite salty too, shame. Won't be returning

Seems to be getting very pricey £19 for little more than 2 snacks seems to me charging more money for smaller portions sorry KFC you can't do both without customer's noticing

Been here several times but sadly today the staff were not that friendly I showed my blue light card & was told discount only applies if I use the app !!! I don’t want the app so no discount given Order arrived & I had to go back to confirm which burger was which. Unfortunately was spoken about as I left the counter 😌 Shame as don’t go here very often, not sure if I will return

Went with wife as we were getting petrol over road. Food and service was ok. My complaint is the menu boards were all disgustingly dirty. It looked as if they were cleaned with a oily rag. I asked for them to be cleaned as we didnt want to touch them then handle our food. It seems covid has been forgotten along with the cleanliness regime that that created. I didnt see any sanitising stations in the place. It was quiet when we went ( mid morning) so no excuse for the surplus staff to not be cleaning these menu boards. Using paper towels rather than dirty clothes.

The young man Ellis provided great service and atmosphere, as i got to have a good laugh with him and he was very polite. I believe Ellis is in deserving of a pay rise.

A bit hit and miss, had one a couple of weeks ago, and it was just luke warm, I was a bit concerned but lived to tell the tale. Had another one, and it was piping hot.

I came here to leave a review in the hopes that a manager for KFC might see this and change the way things are done and made. We have been coming here for years and actually drive out of the town to come here because it was the best KFC until today... I don't know why it was so hard to get our order right I can understand a mistake once but 4 times, was someone taking the piss or what. You need to employ people who are going to listen, learn and think about doing something with their own initiative. Your employing young inexperienced students who don't give a toss. 4 times to make a chicken zinger tower meal!! In the end we got a refund it was an absolute joke. Sort it out!!

Terrible service and when my order was running an hour late I attempted to call twice to ask if I can just pick it up instead and no answer.

One of the better kfc out there ,only thing I say is is when ordering from the screen there never is number table service signs out so you have to listen out for your order number , not a biggy but if you offer it have them available

Probably the best KFC I've been to. Nearly always clean and tidy staff mostly friendly food always quick. Only thing that let's KFC down at the moment is the Fries are awful especially for a small child they are too spicy/peppery... why change them!!

Exactly what you would expect from KFC all good

Poor franchise. Auto order machines never work properly, then when you have to queue for a while, you get tonthe head of the queue and the order taker walks away not even an acknowledgement, i ended up walking out as it was obvious I wasn't going to be served. The standards here keep finding new ways to go lower.

Ordered through the drive through a boneless meal box. Got into it and chicken was moldy. Attached is a photo for proof! Disgusting standards.

Their staff are really rude. They should be warned to respect the customers. I tried to talk to the manager, but the manager was more rude than the staff, so my child refused to eat there. That’s why not busy at this KFC

Freshly made and was really nice. Girl behind the counter did seem like she would rather be anywhere but there. I had table service, but she just shouted at me from across the floor.

Very little chicken on the bones, miss the old quality, won't be buying again.

Visited twice in one week, both occasions the chicken was overcooked and dry, very small portions 👎 will not go back again, KFC is nothing like it used to be very poor quality now.

Visited this evening for a take away and though the order we explained 3 times the assistant on kiosk got it wrong. Part of the order missing just useless. Could they possibly employ people in the kiosk that listen to what the customers want

Best KFC I've been to, fast service, food was hot, and order was correct. The young guy serving me was great. Unlike most people working in the industry, he seemed to want to be there.

Place to go after work or dinner time. Quick service and delicious food. Takeaway, drive through avaliable.

Our food was going to be 8min, so the lady gave us an extra drink and cookies.

It's truly awful if you're not a deliveroo customer. Restaurant customers are made to wait 20-30mins per order while priority is fully given to deliveroo. When asked why theyre priority, their answer was they have more orders... there were 20+ normal customers standing behind me. I feel sorry theyll be waiting over an hour

Never used this one before usually go to the Greyhound or Progress Road. Assistant was helpful and friendly. Order was correct! an issue I've had with KFC before with missing items from the order.

They prioritise the drive through rather than the customers inside sat waiting watching the cars from the drive through go by get served and also all the Uber eats and just eats get priority very bad service

Chips were undercooked and full of rotten ones. Had a bucket and it contained mainly drumsticks and no breast pieces. Very disappointing
