Zeera in Worthing

The service and restaurant was amazing! But the food was not good unfortunately the curry them selves taste like sweeteners and artificial and taste like the sauces were taken from a industrial packet and not home made. Good price though. Please invest in decent sauces and home made spices.

Takeaway vegetable curry, no flavour, brussel sprouts were in the curry. Friday night there was not one customer in the restuarant at 7pm. Sad atmosphere.

My wife and I went for the Banquet night, it was very quiet. The food was very good. We had Popadoms and chutneys, which was not in the cheap price. Starters were, Sheek Kebab and a Prawn Puree, both were very tasty, then mains of Lamb Jay Fry, Lemon rice, plain Nan and Onion Bhajee, all of which were excellent. All washed down with a couple of pints of Cobra. Will be returning soon.

Wow. I had a vegetable curry and pilau rice as a take away. It was a large portion of curry, with all the different vegetables being fresh, and not overcooked. For once, I could taste the taste of the individual vegetables (compared to my now ex-curry supplier near to The Travelodge!) The layering of the flavours and spice, with the lovely warm aftertaste was fantastic. I shall be visiting regularly to try out the very different dishes, especially the Railway Tava, and a new tuna dish. A very good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Thank you.

In principle, I am not a fan of Indian restaurants. So often it’s just a heap of something on a plate with rice. But Zeera is very different. It is by no means the first visit to this excellent and under-rated restaurant. It doesn’t have a rambling list of hundreds of dishes but instead clearly defined sections with clear descriptions. The staff are always ready to guide you and make recommendations. If you a dish more or less spicy they will do it. Other half had excellent Railway Pavane and I tried the ChickenGoa . One is greeted by just layers of flavours. Every mouthful is a delight. What is also interesting is the very reasonably priced wine list. The most expensive red wine is under £20 which is the starting price at most other restaurants. This ought to be packed especially on a night like St Valentines but it wasn’t. Food was ok but we ordered sag paneer but there wasn't any paneer in it , it was just spinach with melted cheese on top. It has put me off ordering from here again because to leave out one of the main ingredients ,paneer and substitute it for melted cheese on top is unprofessional.

Ordered chicken tikka masala and cheese naan to take away. Absolutely amazing and would be hard pushed to find anywhere else as tasty and very affordable prices too. Super impressed, thank you

Food is very nice, good quality but my usual dish was a little sweeter than other places I've been and although listed as medium, wasn't in the least bit spicy whereas it is nicely hot elsewhere.

Great food. Great service. Great staff. And dishes that you can't get elsewhere( the Railway Tava is superb). Some of the best bhajis in the area. And all for good prices.

We were down from Bradford for a week and tried this place as reviews were good. Food was totally lacking in flavour and im sure it had never seen a chilli. Way too mild and tasteless. We were disappointed.

Their Goan Fish Curry is hands down the best curry I have ever had! The resturant had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were sensative and attentive to the needs of their customers

Zeera Worthing curry in broadwater fully false advertise. And tried to make my dad order a £14 order set meal piece (which was to big for him) otherwise I was not allowed to order the dine in meal. It wasn't until they sat us dow. They said the meals could only be ordered if both of us had the same meal.... Maybe you should write that on your menu... That no1 can order this "dine In meal" unless whoever else they are with gets that meal. Unfortunately Google doesn't have a review button I can review on there, otherwise it would be a bad rating. Hopefully I can find a way to give them this review, I will be trying to find a way for this... You shouldn't offer things on your menu if you refuse to give a single dine that option

Would highly recommend for dining in or a takeaway. The food and service has always been great every time we have ordered from here. Definitely our ‘Go To’ for a decent curry 🙌

When you persuade your wife to try somewhere different for a takeaway and it turns up 25 minutes late 😬. You are expecting the food to be cold and popadoms soggy as it is delivery number 5 as a few more orders have been squeezed in. Then the delivery arrives and the food is hot the popadoms are crispy 😅 Well the wife said that the food was one of the best Indian takeaways she has ever had and I have to agree. Will definitely be using you again well done.

Really disappointing, food was bland, the chicken tikka was not edible, it’s was a weird colour, rubbery and tasteless. Really disappointed as we have had takeaways from here in the past which were always really good.

Lovely place went here for my mothers business Christmas do! Food was lovely as it always has been i have come here before and should of written a review sooner! We had a really good take away from Zeera on 03.12.22. Lamb madras was excellent and the garlic nan was really tasty.

My wife and I decided to order a curry tonight 🙂 but we wanted one which was good value as moneys tight (isn’t it for everyone) I don’t usually post stuff on here as I’m too greedy and have eaten it before I get the chance to take a picture! We decided to try Zeera’s as we hadn’t had a curry there for a long time, I ordered online on their website as I refuse to pay the extortionate fees associated with Uber, just eat etc and we got a 20% discount because of the football (not sure it’s coming home) this would have cost us £26.50 without the discount so we were quids in 🙂 Normally we choose chicken tikka dishes as this makes the chicken tender but we forgot to order this however, the chicken much to our surprise was very tender already! We got a chicken korma, chicken masala, veg curry, 2 rice, chicken tikka (starter), 4 onion bahjes, 3 poppadoms, Nan bread, onion salad and some mint sauce. Sauces were creamy, rice was perfectly cooked, plenty of meat, the vegetables were not soggy and had crisp bite to them, can’t fault it and one of the best curries we’ve had!!

Unfortunately it is not possible to leave zero stars. This is without doubt the worst meal that we have ever ordered. The biryani was dry, burnt and tasteless, even the puppudum were inedible, bitter and totally disgusting which is quite a feat. The samosa was swimming in fat and totally tasteless and the vegetable madras was inedible. I didn’t call to complain because I had so much to complain about that my phone bill would have eclipsed the bill for this overpriced slop. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

We had a takeaway so cannot comment on the restaurant, although it looked nice enough. Our takeaway was the best we've had in years. There was something old school about it. No doubt unhealthy but packed with flavour. This is our new favourite

Food ok menu can be misleading if not read properly. Set menu has many additional costs which mount up if not careful when ordering. A set menu should be a set menu at a set price. Asked to take leftovers home as couldn't eat it all and as said above was ok but was refused. If in a group consider sharing a meal and definitely rice with someone. They will add 10% service charge to your bill including the drinks. I don't agree with paying extra for already restaurant inflated drink prices. Won't be rushing back

First time to this restaurant as a family night out Really good service ,clean environment, one of the nicest curry dishes with the chicken calcutta nagga main that I've had south of birmingham 👍 They let us take a doggy bag too which was a nice touch My only issues were a wonky table and a 14 pound service charge added to the bill In fairness we would have tipped if not for the service charge Nice experience though 👌 👍

Now we had a problem. Other half had had major dental work which meant she could only eat soft food. Except here it wasn't which was one reason why she chose Zeera to return to. We knew we would get really tasty food. We took the excellent value set menu and the guys were only too please to point us in the right direction for my wife. Our mains were the excellent Railway Tava for me and Chicken Balti for my wife. The latter dish was cooked to my wife's taste of medium heat and we shared a side dish of Sag Paneer (spinach with cheese). Everything was just perfect and my wife was able to enjoy her meal without having a chewing problem. At the end they took time to answer some questions about Asian cuisine for which I am personally very grateful. Thank you Zeera

I decided to try Zeera for a takeaway as I've been looking for a good curry in Worthing, and I wasn't disappointed. I was drawn in as there's no minimum order and as it's Tuesday there was 20% off an order over £15 on Just Eat, which easily covered delivery. The food arrived piping hot; I ordered a lamb bhuna and the meat was tasty, tender and moist. The dish was so tasty. I also had 4 onion bhajees, which were slightly on the crunchy side but very tasty too. Finally I had a kulcha naan which accompanied the lamb bhuna perfectly. Delivery was prompt and slightly earlier than expected, which was a bonus. Overall really pleased with my meal and will definitely order from Zeera again 👍

My family and I have been eating at Zeera for years and we are never disappointed. They also always do vegetable rice for us even though it's not on the menu. We have dined in and had takeaway and both experiences are rewarding and delicious!...

Really impressed with their take away food. I had a mango chicken dish which was fantastic, the portion sizes were generous and food piping hot when it arrived. Would definitely order from here again.

Pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Classics like tandoori and korma were spot on, plus the 'Railway Tava' was excellent; tender lamb in a heavily spiced sauce with pickled garlic and green chillies - really delicious. Naan breads with good colour and flavour.

Best Indian takeaway so far in Worthing. After trying various Indian takeaways in Worthing, mostly pretty mediocre, this was by far the best. Very tasty and fresh and not oily. And the delivery turned up exactly when they said it would. Very impressed!

In or out of lockdown, Zeera’s never fails to deliver great dishes. Railway Teva (chicken or lamb) is great. King prawn delight and chicken korma both got rave reviews. If you’re looking for decent takeaway in the Broadwater area, you won’t be disappointed with Zeera!
