Food is always brilliant, but the waiting times can vary greatly. Always worth the wait to be fair. Currently working my way through the menu and yet to find anything that I don't like.

Best Indian around in and around the area, in my opinion. Not found a better Dhansak to date. If I had a grumble it would be sometimes a long wait for delivery/punctuality.

Best place we have ever been to for a curry, the flavours are amazing. Don't know what rice goes best with the curry you are having, then just ask. Amazingly helpful staff and so friendly

Food was ok, quick collection time and curry was hot, rice was rather cool and likely stood for some time, “free” poppadoms were likely from 3 weeks ago and reheated on a tepid windowsill. Won’t be going back, over priced for its quality, badges everywhere saying 2013 champions for best restaurant, almost as effective Germany advocating their armed forces for 1939… try elsewhere

Ordered the same 2 mains and 3 side dishes as usual but tonight the food was quite a different flavour and not really enjoyable. So disappointing as normally we love their food

Best takeaway we have had in along time, beautiful food and great service, we did have to wait about 10 min from our collection time but worth the wait.

This restaurant is the best of the best! I am a single woman on my own but they treat me like family. The food is superb and I have never felt so cared for! It goes a massive way. Please order from Zeera you will not regret it.

Always had indian food from here,but if you order a biryani now and don't like the veg curry sauce they charge you £3 extra for another sauce,which they have never done in the past,so can be quite costly if ordering 4 biryani and want 4 plain korma sauce ,£12 extra,also don't charge you any cheaper for not having the veg curry sauce. Curry sauce tray only ever half full,and food only luke warm. Time to try a different indian

Don't order chicken pakoras because these are absolute garbagejust moved to the area and if people think this is a indian then iv not got much hope for this area awful never again

Have been going here for years. Never been disappointed always top quality banter with staff and food cooked to perfection . All I can add is UNBELIEVABLE. Highly recommend if you haven't tried yet. They can mix and match also for your taste buds.

Really tasty food, great size portions and the staff inside were really friendly. The waiting area was really clean. The food was piping hot, even when I got it home so no complaints, will have takeaway from here again

Food is always top quality. Very busy on a weekend meaning you're waiting a while for collection/delivery, but that just shows how good it is here.

Large order for family celebration extremely annoying, placed order read it back to me to ensure it was correct as it was for special occasion. After collecting and arriving home I find the persons whos event we were celebrating meal not included. I had to go back wait for it to be cooked, resulting in ruined evening. I couldn’t eat with family as needed to collect food, so my food was cold, and my son didn’t have his meal. 2/6 people’s meals ruined. Didn’t even offer to refund any cost. Extremely poor customer service. Ruined evening. Second time incorrect order. I will not use again

Fantastic food at great value. My chicken madras was delightful and the portion sizes were enough for leftovers for lunch the next day. We were also gifted a complimentary vegetarian dish which was excellent.

Zeera is simply the best Indian takeaway! I always get my takeaway from there. The food quality and taste is always excellent and I always have my favourite dish King prawn!! High recommend 👍🏽

Really nice meals (although my butter chicken appears to have cheese in it?) we ordered 3 rice for 5 people and there was so much 2/3 went in the bin sadly. Tasted amazing, shame to waste so much, order less then you think!

Lovely food but hopeless service. Order an hour and 45 minutes before and still waited over half an hour for my food. Perhaps instead of taking constant orders, focus on getting the existing orders cooked and served. Unfortunately won’t be using them again.

Quite disappointed tonight ordered food for 6.00pm picked up at 7.15pm and food was luke warm, you would think paying £36.00 for food your food would be enjoyed if it was hot not luke warm

Normally 4 star, But Friday night 3 Chicken Biryani. Veg curry trays had hardly any curry in them. The chicken was gristle offcuts. Really poor. So disappointed.

The curry is always gorgeous here. Chicken danshak is my go-to. They do a lush baigan massalla too (aubergine) and previously my regular curries have been chicken tikka bhuna balti and chicken tikka saag balti. Absolutely delicious. Am a regular visitor.

Gone downhill recently, last two orders have been poor, items forgotten and food average at best. Used to be the best Indian for miles.

Food took a little longer than I'd like to arrive, but was worth the wait. My korma was delicious and everything my partner ordered looked and tasted good, will be ordering again. Partner recommends the Bombay Aloo in particular.

Never had a bad meal, staff always friendly and the phone never stops ringing with orders. Highly recommended.

Gave Zeera a try after Cinnamon Tree weren't picking up the phone (restaurant now open?). Glad I did as the food was superior and lower cost. Looks like I've got a new favourite take away.

Not usual for me to recommend specific restaurants/takeaways as I believe food is very much down to personal tastes but this one surpasses any Indian takeaway I have ever visited ! and that is quite a few !

I cannot stress how wonderful this restaurant is, in a small village but hidden away like a diamond. Shahim is the chef and he is always willing to talk about the menus. WATCH THIS SPACE..IF YOU ARE A FOODIE I CAN SEE A MICHELIN STAR FOR THEM SOON! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL SUPERB FOOD 😀

Do yourself a favour guys and don't order from here, it's just not worth it. Have been going to Zeera's for years, usually every month, but we've decided enough is enough now. The wait time is just too much to bear. You wouldn't mind a long wait time if the time they asked you to collect was accurate. But no matter what time they give you for a delivery or collection, there is a minimum of another 45 minute wait on top, without fail. I get that they're busy, but surely after a while you'd be able to get the cooking times right for the amount of customers. I'm almost certain that they start cooking when you arrive to collect. I can't ever recall a time where I've collected food or had it delivered within 45 mins of my alloted time. It mught not seem that much, but over the years, it adds up. Will be going to Jamils in rhydfelin from now on. We prefer the food at Jamils, but as Zeera is a 2 minute walk we usually default there, but the ridiculous wait time more than covers the short drive to jamils.

Really lovely food with a great variety of vegetarian dishes as well as meat and fish dishes. Fantastic service and such friendly staff as well. Collection or delivery, always great service.

A few weeks ago I ordered a take away fit for a king. There was so much choice on the menu, including a huge selection of vegetarian dishes (bombay potatoes,, chana masala, allo gobi, sag bahji and so on). It was difficult to choose, so I ordered an onion bahaji, spicy mash potatoes (allo chop), a lamb tikka, mixed tandoori grill (chicken, lamb and king prawns), coconut rice, chips and a peshwari naan. The food was really nice and cooked with lots of fresh ingredients. The food was great value for money totalling around £28 and the portion sizes were very generous, so there was plenty of left overs for the next day.

One of the worst Indians I've ever had. Both chicken dishes were packed full of sugar instead of flavour. Rice was bland and naans had no filling

Worst Indian meal I have had in years, I'll be brief, 2.5 hours to delivered, with missing items (they turned up eventually after a further 20 minutes). The food arrived stone cold accompanied by soggy stale poppadoms. The chicken in the Tikka nearly bent my cutlery it was so tough, chicken tikka noodles absolutely devoid of taste, the Chicken Pakora was disappointing, deep fried to remble a mahogany crispy pancake. I will not ever order food from this establishment again, have had better microwave meals. Very disappointed with what was supposed to a family treat.

Zeera is the best Indian takeaway that I have tried in Wales. We are extremely lucky it is also so close. We have never had a bad meal from here. The rice is cooked perfectly and has the perfect flavour, especially the onion rice. The chicken, for example, in the exquisite chicken balti is always tender and cooked to perfection. The onion bhajis are soft on the inside and the right crunch on the outside. The staff are so nice and welcoming, which is why i love collection instead of delivery. It is nice to see people who come across as genuinely happy that you are there. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you want awesome Indian food and friendly staff.

Very good quality Indian takeaway. Lovely food. Be aware that on Friday and Saturday nights you will need to order at least an hour in advance as they get very busy due to their popularity.

Really good take away, open from 5 pm so picked up a lamb tikka dansak and chana dansak. Both really good, fantastic flavours with sweet and mellow tastes coming through the spice. The sag aloo was nice with decent sized potato. Complimentary side was good as well. The nan was flavourful if a little small. Would highly recommend to anyone and would go again.

Ordered a delivery tonight, and originally they forgot the rice. Phoned back up and the manager was extremely helpful and was here within minutes and couldn’t be more apologetic. Food tasted amazing can not wait to return!

Had the Tandoori mixed royal which contained prawns, salmon and lamb. It was absolutely stunning and so fresh and tasty. It took about 30 mins to cook but we'll worth the wait for fresh food.

Zeera catered for a curry evening for 120 people for us. The staff were so helpful from the beginning. The food was amazing, so tasty and all made fresh. All the guests who attended the evening commented on how delicious the food was. The staff brought the curry to our venue and were so accommodating. I would highly recommend them if you are planning a large function or if you fancy a scrumptious take away curry at home!! Top quality on every level!!

Well it is Saturday night l suppose but that is no excuse for delivering a totally inedible meal.We ordered a veg biryani, chips and tarka dahl.The chips were cold, the dahl had a thick layer of oil on top of a watery, thin, tasteless base and the biryani sauce failed to arrive. After phoning to get it delivered, we were presented with another tasteless effort.We were so disappointed as our last meal was very good. To be honest, we will not be wasting another £18 on a takeaway from this place.

Just had my first ever Indian takeaway. I'm 34. Amazing fold had a pasands tikka say chips rice and naan came to£18. B5ut expensive but have to saybits worth it. Better than any Indian restaurant that have been too. Service is very friendly, I was on my own waiting and the chap at front of house had a good chat. Not used to that especially as i have never been here before. Highly reccomended

Ordered some food after a recommendation from a friend. Ordered at 7pm with a arrival time of between 8-8.30 but arrived at 9.10pm. Be prepared for long waits on Saturdays. The food itself was extremely tasty no complaints. Had a chicken kurma and lamb nepali, plus sundries. Would have given 5 if it wasnt for the long wait.

Had a curry from here last night. Starters were ok (samosas and bhajis). Ordered a Madras and a mixed grill. Mixed grill was overcooked and there was no pot of sauce with it. No flavour either it got given to my cats! Very disappointing we will not be ordering again...

WARNING!!!!!! Very poor service. Ordered food 5:30pm and didn't receive till 7:30pm. To which on putting out on plates the food was stone cold. Called to complain to which more food was sent out to replace. Was told an hr to then turned out to be 2 hrs. With phoning after hr half to being told just gonna send out now. Both me and my partner very disappointed. Both ill too after the food. Safe to say we will not be returning to zeerer ever again.

This is the second time using zeera and again was told it would be an hour for collection which would be fine if it was actually the HOUR they stated.... but when turning up (on time) to collect our food we are still having to wait an ADDITIONAL 45 mins for our food to be collected????
