Closed for the past two days. No sign in the window. I guess they might have closed down. 5 minutes down the road is Fry Days. Tasty chicken and ribs! They do fish and big burgers. Tasty and a good price. Even better if your are NHS staff as you get an extra 10℅ off.

Good food but way too spicy. Chill out with the spice, no way a medium should be that hot.

Their food is nice, but just far too spicy even if you order mild/medium it seems like it’s hot or extra hot, it doesn’t feel like you’re eating a mild meal.

Ordered chicken breast burger today .. it was awful and it didn’t cook properly.. I called them and complained about the issue they didn’t even care about it and he was extremely rude he’s not even ready to accept their fault or asking apology he keep arguing with me… it was very rude poor customer service… they don’t know how to treat customers at all… never buy from them again.

This was disappointing and discounted, burger for 4.49 was from microwave and the rest ... common

Food is great - but it is can be very spicy even when ordering medium/mild. Something to bare in mind. But always fresh and tastes amazing.

I tried to get 9 chicken legs with chips They put from some other customers what they can’t eat, in my order!! Avoid that rubbish shop!!!

Tasty food and not too spicy for kids

Asked for medium flavour chicken and rice, i have never ate something so spicy in my life and im asian, waste of money as they can't take simple instructions!

Rice and spicy grilled chicken was surprisingly excellent. Burger too, will visit again.

None of the workers had gloves on (including the man who was making my sandwich), he was was touching his face and scratching his head & back prior to making my sandwich. Sanitation is definitely missing from this place. I don’t know how they got their license but I think the health department should be notified.

Omg I love this place. It’s my fave takeaway ever. I worked at the hospital 7 years ago and have been coming here since then. I have never had a bad meal at all. The food is always fresh and never dry. Food is always hot and on point. I come all the way from Hemel just to go to Zax I love it that much, I can not say a bad word about this place my food has always been on point so thank you very much I love it

Just love how perfect everything comes out just right for me every single time. They could work on making thire hot sauce a little tastyer though

So started off quite well but now they are willing to serve sub standard food that's overcooked or just blatantly cooked in such old oil the food looks black, Should have stayed as a newsagent as the care and pride of serving food to public has gone from this establishment, 3 star food hygiene from over a yr ago clearly needs to be improved on - outside clothing worn in food preparation area without a care to any pathogens they could be transferring into what should be a clean environment . Lose the locals all u will have is hospital visitors who only come as theres nothing advertised locally as an alternative, watch this space! In this day and age this is not how a buisness should be run and soon when theres no profits due to ppl being educated and realising theres a cleaner chicken shop 5 mins either way , u will be wishing u kept ppl inside

Just been over here from the hospital as it states that it is open until 10pm. Staff were incredibly rude, just stood doing nothing and refused to cook any chicken saying they shut in 5 minutes - this would have been 9:37pm! Would give zero stars if I could as now my daughter who hasn't eaten anything is now stuck in hospital and starving!

Food is overpriced for what it is. Chicken burger can be bought from a one pound store and cooked. It is nothing like a proper chicken burger if you compare it from central london.The peri peri wings have no flavor and has just been over done with pepper and salt. And again as for the price, small portions of chips are given with a meal which is overpriced If you come to central, East or south London , you will know what a real fast food shop is about.

Nice food, chicken is done in a different way to other Peri Peri's but in a good way. Usually go several times a week.

IF YOU KNOW YOUR CHICKEN SHOPS YOU'LL KNOW THAT THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Essentially they know that because they're opposite the hospital they're exploiting their position and milking every penny they can get from their cash cow. Allow me to explain: Watered down chili sauce - to a point where it's like dipping your chicken in a glass of water, it all just flows off Watered down garlic mayo - WHO THE HELL WATERS DOWN THEIR GARLIC MAYO? They charge you for ketchup sachets (30p for 4) I ordered 2 piece meal, one piece was fresh the other was from the night before.

Good food! Nice place! Seating could be a tad cosier. Highly recommend rice with chicken strips!!

Great tasting food with a good selection to choose from; Fried chicken, grilled chicken, fries, rice, wraps and burgers. Sometimes you can wait for up to 15 minutes, during busy times, as everything is cooked to order. Two price rises, in one year, have stopped me from visiting more, especially as the food and portion sizes haven't changed. At over £6 for a meal, there are cheaper places, just as close, where the food is just as good.

Regularly get my order wrong when I ask for specifics, and currently off work because of gastroenteritis caused by the last meal I had with them.

Good quality food, food is around the same as other competitors. For me I prefer it sometimes just because they can provide sheer spice on the chicken if I ask them to, but overall the food tastes great

We went to have quick lunch and ordered a meal and wanted to eat in.the table was Dirty an ask the man to clean the table please. He told me he cannot come out and he can give me tissue I have to clean the table.sorry for this poor shop.

Awful! Food is cold, tasteless and find the service to be rude too! The chicken burgers are dry and cooked and kept there for the whole day and the staff refuse to cook a fresh burger for their customers. Not a good place to eat at all!
