Probably the best breakfast we've had at a lounge, our dog loved his sausage too - great to know there's always somewhere to dine with our furry friend 🐕 x

I think best gluten free restaurant in Northampton. Also please next time more fries with the steak :) :)

Stopped in for a full English. Food quality and portion size justified the higher price tag.

Great experience! I enjoy my visit every time I come and it is regularly. Friendly helpful and knowledgable staff. Really great managing allergies and intolerances! Great choices of foods and drinks! Great night out! I usually order a Gluten and Dairy free steak without a lot of the standard swapped or left off to make if alright for me. The staff are always incredible helpful, kind and patient. It's so nice to be able to go out and know I'm going to be okay. so far I've had no reactions. Which as a coeliac is a win! I really recommend cooking for a meal or even a drink. The atmosphere is awesome and the quirky vibe is comfortable and fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Only downside is they allow dogs in. Not a fan of eating when dogs at next tabke

First time eating here and wasn't disappointed. I didn't realise how big the place was inside. Great buzzing atmosphere (loud enough to drown out our kids which is always a bonus!). Staff friendly. Lots if great choices on menu. I had the feta abd beetroot flatbread and it was delicious!

We had a great evening at Zapata on Tuesday. Excellent food and the service was outstanding special mention for Harry. I have eaten here and other branches but forgotten what a great place the lounges are. Easy relaxing good value and good staff

Me and my brother went for some food after work one night last week. It was nice and quiet. We had loads of little dishes of Tapas to share and desert it was really nice.

Cold food, watery cocktails and terrible service by young girl with extreme eye liner

I had a really good time at this place. The service was on point, the food was tasty, and the prices were decent. I got the avocado brunch and an Americano, and it all came to £12. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back!

The food was lovely, as well as the staff. Made me and my mum feel so welcome, enjoyed every minute of it x

Had the tapas and a diet coke and carrot cake whilst my friend also had tapas,the IPA bitter and something resembling a knickerbocker glory 😤

Had gone up to northhampton to go to Silverstone, and whilst there decided to eat at Valero on our first night staying in the area, we were greeted by a smiling and friendly Natalia who was amazing, so lovely in fact we decided to return to eat our second night where Natalia gifted me and my partner a cocktail which was delicious! The rest of the staff were incredible too, very attentive and quick service with very tasty food! All in all I highly recommend this venue for good value, lovely food, and friendly staff:)

I love the fact that you just scan a QR code to order. It is that easy. Or you can go to bar to order the food if you want to pay with cash. Inside looks really really good. Definitely will revisit soon.

I found this place quite good and reasonably priced. Lounges like this can often be expensive, but I was pleasantly surprised. I went with my partner and a few friends, and not only did they accommodate my friends' many dietary requirements, but the quality of the food was also impressive. While it wasn’t cheap, I still felt it offered good value compared to other places. I’d definitely visit again. We ordered tapas, a curry dish, and a couple of iced lattes. Initially, we thought the drinks were a bit pricey, but they turned out to be large, justifying the cost. It was pretty quiet when we went, around 4 p.m. on a Monday, so I can't comment on how the service or quality holds up during busy times. However, overall, it was a pleasant experience. We stayed until 7 p.m., and I’d recommend it.

Lovely customer service and delicious food. Their drinks are so tasty and pretty and the place looks really cozy. Definitely recommend. It’s my usual place to go to.

me and my friends went to zapato for some drinks, decided to order some tapas, food was excellent we were served by a a lovley girl who was very chatty. Recommended

What a total let down! After being recommended by my sister and autistic son that the food was banging I decides to treat my son again... Ordered 2 milkshakes... was just thin milk with cream on top with a chocolate/ caramel sauce.. I ordered the chicken breast that was rubbery and a handful of chips, the slaw was proper rank! My sons pancakes came out cold but the saug and hash brown were hot so eat that and after stating to the server they were cold,he was made another but by then we had lost our appetite and didn't even finish half the food.. We was offered a free afters but we left as soon as we could. Do not recommend.

Went here today with some friends for a catch up. Everything on the menu looks amazing but ended up going for the double chocolate Oreo milkshake. It tastes incredible but the staff were so lovely! Will definitely be coming back :)

Have always loved coming to Zapato lounge, popped in for lunch today and the service was fantastic as usual. Food is always delicious, and the cocktails are great too- definitely my favourite place in Northampton.

Popped in today for a quick brunch while in the town centre with my missus, and I must say what a great experience it was. Great customer service and excellent food at a reasonable price. We shall definitely be back.

We have eaten at lots of these restaurants however the staff at Zapato went above and beyond. My mum has dietary requirements and allergies and this was handled with the upmost care and attention. They made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and the food was great and very well priced. The person that served us was charismatic and attentive! i'm only sorry we didn't get his name! ( he has tattoos if that helps! ) Thank you!

Excellent place in a historic building variety good atmosphere

I visited with my family and grandchildren - the Lounges are very popular with them because the vegetarian/vegan menu is so good. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his English breakfast, but I was slightly disappointed with my avocado brunch which seems to be getting smaller. Luckily we'd ordered several sides of chips! I also shared my daughter in law's aubergine hummus flatbread which I think I'll have at some point. The grandchildren enjoyed their meals as well as the games and craft table

Great place for food and drinks. Lovely building and atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Accessible toilets downstairs with a baby changing area. Cocktails were great! And they have a book sharing area and games to play.

Sucha comfortable atmosphere, the furnishings and decor are bright and yet subtle. The menu is fantastic. And staff are very friendly and attentive

Visited Zapato Lounge for our Wedding Meal yesterday. The Food and Service was fantastic and all the staff were very accommodating with any requests we had. Would highly recommend.

Great place in Northampton, lovely food.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, the menu has much to choose from and caters for all foodie types. I had a garlic chicken burger which was lovely. Price wise, like any other places, fair. Good atmosphere with an oldie worldy type feel. Overall, a good meal with great company.

already a huge fan of the lounge’s, figured we’d have to try this branch since we’re new to the area. as usual, they did not disappoint!! love the fact that you not only order online but can pay that way too, makes things a lot more time efficient and a lot more accessible for people with social anxiety as i find the ordering part of eating at any restaurant unbearable. the food is always 10/10, staff are always super friendly and Zapato is no exception! Not to mention the interior and decoration, as well as the general atmosphere and comfortable low lighting makes the dining experience so much more unique. Low lighting is also very autism friendly. Superb selection of veggie and vegan options too!

My daughter wanted Churros. The only place I know that serves them is this place so thought we would make an afternoon of it. I ordered 3 vegan tapas and her the Churros. Together. I ordered from the table but had to go to the counter anyway because the process didn't update before ordering. The drinks came swiftly and were welcome. They delivered my tapas first, mostly cold except the potato dishes which were obviously straight out the fryer. I sent the cold burnt cauliflower back. I assumed they nuked it and sent it back. It was better. The Churros came after I had finished despite asking for it to come together. We were offered a soft drink to make up for the mish mash service. We declined. We don't drink soft drinks. Plus the experience of eating out is rarely rectified by having another drink when you're already hacked off with waiting to eat, you've already overpayed via the online service and the food was halfway ok. The waiting staff were kind but sadly the food and delivery of food was a bit pants. Overall, disappointing.

Love Zapato lounge! Food is always so good and the service was really good too. Went on a Friday night and was very quiet on this occasion. Usually, it's thriving, but we put it down to it being a really hot day, and everyone was probably in beer gardens or having bbq's at home!

The staff were lovely, and helpful. Food was ok could be better for the price. Cakes look nice, but wet and soggy

Atmosphere is to me, about the customers as much as the venue. I had a lovely experience as the combination of both was excellent. Background ambiance just right. Not very disabled friendly from what I could see and I do look but it's an old, historic building so it's understandable. The food was lovely. We had breakfast and it made a great change from the usual high street offerings. Service and options were on point. Price for what we had and the expensive was more than reasonable.

Fantastic food; staff so friendly and polite, lovely atmosphere and cannot fault the place.

The wonderful thing about this place was their gluten free and vegan menus. My daughter is both and almost cried when she saw the range of things on offer. “I have a choice “ she shouted! These two menus were the same size as the regular menus. The Turkish influenced meal I had was lovely. The place appears like a posh Weatherspoons. But it is so much more.

A little advice budget venues but very reasonable for most I feel. Portion sizes not excessive which is good in my opinion. I love that there are veggie options but within the normal menu Hot drinks choices are the best I've seen. I felt bad not leaving a tip but shall next time

Food and drink wasn't cheap but wasn't expensive. Food was good quality and arrived promptly. Good service. Perhaps I'm being overcritical, but bingo caller's mic was wayyy too loud which made conversation difficult

I love all the lounges but sometimes it is hit and miss with food quality. The price of smashed avocado brunch on non vegan menu should not be the same as on vegan menu when the only difference is lack of egg. Either substitute the egg with sometimes else, or reduce the price. Also, when Ciabatta bread is stale and chewy...do not serve it

Wonderfully casual atmosphere, deliciously naff decor, chairs and tables "look" random but are carefully chosen no doubt. Same food all day, so you could dine any time you like.

On good friday popped in for drinks, staff despite how busy it was, were lovely and attentive. The drinks were INSAAANE! I had a honeycomb oat frappe and the watermelon ice tea, not kidding, best drinks I've ever had ever. They both are so sweet but not too sweet and have the perfect amount of drink in them. Served in tall cups too, I definitely think you get your money's worth. Will be excited to cone for food and try more drinks. Also in general I'm obsessed with the decor, we sat at the sofa area near the bar which was comfy.

I had heard nice things about this restaurant but I was extremely disappointed. The place was dark and chilly. The food was luke warm to say the least, and the 2 poached eggs on a muffin and a few tiny bits of smoked salmon cost £10. Not good value for money at all. The service was very fast and the staff pleasant.

We have been several times when visiting our son and Zapato’s has always been excellent at catering for our family’s mix of vegetarians and omnivores from the diverse range of food from different traditions on the menu. So when he decided to get married last year we booked Zapato’s for a welcome dinner for all the guests who were arriving on the Friday, the day before the wedding. We booked the upstairs room for 30 people and pretty much everybody had a different meal, some with particular dietary requirements and some with supplements and special requests. We emailed the restaurant in the afternoon with the order and they dealt with it flawlessly. Every order arrived correct and on time and everybody had a wonderful evening. There were so many potential things that could have gone wrong but every detail was correct. A huge thank you to all the staff because it was the ideal start to the weekend and set everything up perfectly for the main event the next day!

Good selection of vegan food options on a separate menu. Food was good, and nicely presented. The service was friendly and fast, although you have to order and pay either via their web site or at the bar. (Food was delivered to the table.) Seemed a bit spendy (£29 for lunch for two, for what was essentially upscale bar food) but pretty satisfied overall.

I cannot thank this place enough they got myself n family in on short notice it was my 60th and they were magnificent food was great service excellent and getting a table for 12 plus priceless thank you xxxx

We came on Tuesday. Had a delicious breakfast no complaints whatsoever. My friends full English looked amazing but my mushroom Benedict with spinach was delicious. Place is clean, lovely atmosphere and staff are very attentive. You get what you pay for so it’s slightly dearer than other places but happy with that as it’s incredible. Well done and be patient don’t think it’s long until the market is done!

Easy to eat as a solo diner. Can either order at the till or via the QR code. The food came quickly, there was a Candel on the table that added to the ambience. It's a shame the restaurant it tucked behind the scaffolding in the square because the burger with sweet potatoe fries was tasty and worth the price. The decor is nice

Never usually have any moans here but today service was poor. 4 of us dining as a birthday treat for my stepdaughter. Meals brought out one at a time and quite slow. Hubby and his daughter waited until two other meals came which by then meant their meals were cool. Dining out as a family means eating together. Grandson specifically asked for no cheese on his meal which was noted when ordering but needless to say his beans were covered in cheese, didn’t complain as we felt he may have been eating on his own if another plate was requested. Same with dessert, brought to table individually. Hope for better service next time.

Part of the 'Lounge' chain of restaurants, nice shabby chic decor and usual lounge menu, service was quick and friendly.

We went into Northampton on the bus, simply to take advantage of the £2 bus fare that's currently in operation. I'd spotted the Zapato Lounge on Google Maps and as I'm a big fan of the Lounges in general, it was no difficult decision to go there for lunch... So after a little mooching around the square and in the adjacent shopping centre we went in. On entering, it's pretty much like the several other Lounges I use, we picked a suitable table and as always I lodged a card behind the bar against the table number. Ordered drinks and the lass offered to bring them to the table, so I didn't even have to stand and wait... My wife went and ordered the food and another round of drinks. These drinks too were brought to the table for us. When the food came out it was as good as all other Lounges we've used and I have to be fair in saying that it's this consistency of quality and presentation that appeals to us. Wonderful staff on duty who certainly earned their tip and we won't hesitate to visit next time were in town... Probably not the cheapest in the locality but it's not always about the cost in my opinion. 10 out of 10 for us and highly recommended to anyone looking for a decent food, pleasant service in comfortable surroundings.

Popped in for a bit of brunch on a quiet Monday morning. I had the ‘Miami Brunch’ which was delicious.. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Friendlt staff. Looking forward to going back.

Breakfast treat out. Great full plate but be wary if you like crispy bacon lol. Gluten free also ordered and asked for no mushrooms but arrived with so returned and replaced, they were very apologetic
