I came here with my family and everything was impeccable. We went on a Friday night and got the tasting menu. The food was beautiful and SO tasty! They look like small portions to begin with but I ended up really full. There was only one other couple, the music was lovely as well and they seemed to be able to read our minds! (they lowered the volume of the music so we could talk, brought water to our table immediately just as I was saying how thirsty I was....) All in all, 10/10

What a wonderful restaurant,amazing food,fabulous manager and staff, everything you would want for delightful evening. We are regulars ,going with 5 or 6 friends having a fun time. Would recommend highly. Martina

It was evening The restaurant is a mixture with no clear classification: Indian/Pakistani/Lebanese/Middle Eastern. Which makes it lose its distinction. The food was not as expected There is only one waiter with poor experience

We visited in May 2023. The restaurant is well situated being central to all London's attractions and perfect for a flutter on the gaming tables or slot machines. The restaurant was comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. We had a three course meal which proved to be of a very high standard. I would recommend Zaman's as a great place for top cuisine and ambience.

Had a great dinner here tonight. One of the only restaurants we could find still serving dinner past 1030pm. The service was excellent, made us feel right at home! And the food was superb at a very reasonable price.

Decent restaurant in a nice location. The food was nice, I opted for the mixed grill, and it was very tasty. The service was personable, and staff was always there to help.

Great curry and amazing chutney (the best I've ever tasted). Nice and calm environment. Very friendly and service minded staff! Another positive thing is that they had a lift down to the restaurant, so it's accessible for wheelchair too! Not very expensive, OK prices.

Last Saturday evening I was fortunate to have been invited for dinner at the Zaman Lebanese restaurant and what a wonderful culinary experience it was! The restaurant is part of The Sportsman Casino located near Marble Arch and there's a nice bar where we had a couple of beers before we went down to the restaurant. I must add here as soon as we reached the front desk we were warmly greeted and the general ambience was very friendly from start to finish. The service at the restaurant was outstanding; the waiter recommended assorted mezze to accompany our Argentinian Malbec. We were not disappointed with the starter - in fact the portions were more than generous so much so that we decided to share one entré between us. We selected the delicious lamb chops accompanied by another glass of the lovely Malbec.  We finished dinner and had a flutter on the tables before we left.  All in all, an excellent experience in every sense.

Located in the prestigious Marble Arch area of London, “Restaurant Zaman” is a global multicultural melting pot that serves specialties from Europe, Asia, and the Orient (Lebanese Cuisine). Despite being hidden away and having a restricted entrance, it offers outstanding cuisine, ambiance, and service. Visitors from all over the world who miss such amazing experiences in their home countries often frequent the area. During a recent visit, I invited a friend to become a member and we were warmly welcomed by Michael at the reception, and the two beautiful and wonderful ladies, both incidentally named as Christina, at the Bar. The Head Waiter, Mr. Arnold Magtira, provided excellent recommendations for each dish and the Head Chef, Mr. Alderlion Santos, suggested the grilled lamb cutlets with mint sauce, which was outstanding. We also enjoyed the cold and hot Lebanese mezze and the Italian-style king prawns. Overall, the food, and ambiance were fabulous, and service second to none, and we wish the restaurant continued success. Thanks. Ash

Unfortunately, the food wasn't well cooked and was rushed, we also ordered chicken wings and the breading was hard as stone and once you broke through the breading there was barely any meat on the bone. They didn't have any drinks, only wine and tap water. Ruined dinner and really disappointing...

First of all the security didnt allow me to go inside ! He said show me your ID , i told him im a 27 y . Then he said your bag isnt allowed , i know what i will do with my bag but first i need to see the place then i know where i will keep it!

A hidden gem located a stones through away from Marble Arch station so its perfect to go after a spot of shopping at Oxford Street or for a special occasion. This is by far one of the best places for steak. Perfectly supplemented with their mushroom sauce and hand cut chips. Best of all, the food is all Halal. The service is great as well. The only drawback is having to share the same entrance door as the Sportsman Casino which isn't ideal for the wider customer base. This hasn't deterred me but I have been advised that they are working on segregating their entrances. Prices are a bit high but not totally surprising for the area but well worth it.

I came here alone for a quick meal and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was friendly and efficient and the grilled king prawns, along with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, were delicious. I would definitely come back with friends and try more options on the menu.

Very poor quality. It offers Arabic Lebanese food however it is far from being close to it. And the price is very high relatively. I think it’s good to those who lose all their money in the casino on top

A lovely, relaxed evening with tasty and interesting food. It was very quiet at first but we were joined by more as the evening wore on. Service was excellent: relaxed but attentive, and never made to feel hassled. The menu was an unusual mix of cultures and traditions, but all that we tried was really tasty and, as requested, adjusted when we wanted a little more curry heat. Neat presentation and sensitively delivered. Thank you!

We went on a groupon deal, and although it is a set menu there were 3 good choices for starter and mains and 2 for dessert. The staff were unbelievably attentive and helpful, polite and efficient. The quality, taste and presentation of the food was fantastic. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be coming back. The group on deal makes this phenomenal value, although I am sure the a la carte is also good value too.

We were a table of 8 and all the staff made every effort to make us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed the evening. The food was delicious and each course was presented in a creative way. We will definitely be coming back again. Thanks again for a lovely evening!

We went on a Wowcher deal with friends and found the staff to be very welcoming. We had a limited menu as on a deal but even so we could not fault the food or the service. We then attended the Sportsman Casino afterwards, all together an enjoyable evening.

Revisited for a late dinner and chose smoked salmon and shrimp curry. Both were very good and staff were attentive.

Overall I felt the restaurant didn’t meet my expectations given the former reviews and ratings by others. Decor: Good but with one major flaw. Almost anywhere you sit you have this ghastly view of the Casino slot machines. How can that ever enhance an atmosphere? Someone really needs to think about either putting up some curtains to cover that view or build a wall instead. Service: Initially disappointed. When we arrived the restaurant was empty. No diners and no staff to greet you. We waited aimlessly wondering if the restaurant was even open. As we were just about to leave and by stroke of luck one of the casino or hotel managers came into the restaurant and asked us if we were waiting to eat? (Thought in my head was, no we just came here to admire the scenic view of the slot machines). Whomever this person was, pressed a button under a piece of decor on the wall and a waiter arrived and seated us. The waiter service was pleasant but inattentive. By that I mean that the waiter himself was polite, but didn’t pay attention. There was no offer of drinks while we decided on menu or even when we ordered. We asked for the regular drinks without a menu when we placed our order. We also had to call the waiter over to clear our table after starters and mains. He didn’t even ask if we were enjoying our meal (something that is customary in restaurants, if you don’t want your customers leaving without paying) Food: by far the most important aspect of a restaurant. I had the aloo tikki for starters. It was a good attempt to be different but ultimately a fail. It was potato patty filled with peas and other vegetables. The difference here is that Aloo Tikki usually has some spice in it, but not peas and vegetables. Most places serve with chick peas and a sweet tamarind chutney. At Zaman’s, the tamarind chutney is a few drops served on the plate. The worst part of it was that I could taste the oil. It really hadn’t been drained out of the fryer very well. I forced myself through this dish. After that things only got worse. My wife ordered veg biryani. She said it was very oily but edible however, was not an authentic biryani. She said that it lacked spices and ingredients. She said that it seemed like pilau rice had just been put in a wok with a pre prepared vegetable curry and just mixed up to create a biryani, which could possibly explain the lack of authentic biryani spices. (My wife can cook a mean biryani - I’ll bow to her expert knowledge). On to my main. I had the sweet and sour vegetarian chicken (quorn substitute I think). This dish was barely edible. First of all the dish has pineapples in it. I’m mildly allergic to pineapple. I get a mild rash on my cheeks when I eat them (same with strawberries), but nothing dangerous or that would cause me great discomfort. Why they didn’t put this in their menu description is beyond me. Why they didn’t ask if I had any food allergies is also beyond me. The dish was more sweet than anything else. It was almost like eating a sweet syrup with rice. I ate what I could but just left most of it. Tea was nice (despite the first cup being served with a floating fruit fly! - they did change it straight away). Cost: for two of us eating and my daughter having one virgin pina-colada (which she also complained was too sweet - a first for her) came to £51 including service charge and charity donation. They missed the charge for two cups of tea, which I did point out to them, but they said they were free. Given the location, it’s okay, but given the quality of food, it’s not worth it. It’s a pity really, they were polite, but everything else has let them down.

Service exceptionnel niveau qualité, personnel agréable, sympathique et qui plaisante, le repas délicieux et les prix corrects. Le plat à partager est vraiment sympa !

Stay away, We came through Groupon and were very disappointed with the quality of the food

This review is not based on the food but on the acceptance of my booking via their website. Yesterday I made a reservation for 9 people for 6pm. Under "special request" I had asked for 3 high chairs. This booking was accepted and then we all set off at 430pm to arrive for 6pm. I phone the restaurant at 5:50pm to advise we would be running late and at this point they told me that no kids are allowed in the restaurant as it is based in a casino. Obviously I wasn't aware of this and we had been travelling for 1.5 hours. The booking should never have been accepted if it had been read correctly! This was a disappointing evening and kids were all very hungry (three kids under 2 years).

Came to this restaurant for my sisters 21st birthday and the food was amazing, can not fault anything. The staff were friendly and service was perfect. 100% recommend.

I've been going here quite often for the past couple of years, both with friends for my birthday, with my wife and family and we always love it. The food is amazing, wine is great, service is like no other and we always get such a good deal, the prices are great too!

We had a lunch there. Fish, biryani and batata hara, everything was super delicious. The chef himself visited our table and gave us great suggestion to order and after to check if we are happy with the food. Manager and all the staff was very efficient, polite and friendly. So me and my wife were looking for options to eat indian food near marble arch , after reading reviews on trip advisor we decided to visit this restaurant as it was very close to our accomodation. This restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem, being part of a casino we thought it would be an okok type of a restaurant, but we were surprised to see the extensive menu with dishes ranging from Indian , asian and Lebanese cuisine. We had chicken kebabs, lentil soup, glass noodle salad all made very well but the highlight of the night was the prawn Biryani. And also to mention the Chef Avadhoot who came up to us and ineracted with us . Wonder why the casino is not promoting this gem of theirs.

Enjoyed Zaman's experience a lot. Lovely atmosphere and professional service. Served by Silvi and Nasser and they made my day. I had Chicken Biryani and I'll be back for more. Sincerely recommend this restaurant and experience they provide! Hats off

Teníamos una familia, una agradable comida en el restaurante zanman, teníamos un entrante y un plato principal, ambos campos eran excelentes, el personal era excepcional y no podía hacer más por ti, todos eran muy amables y educados, definitivamente iría de nuevo y sin duda recomendaría una comida agradable y un entorno agradable.

The food was delicious but way too small for the amount you pay. I ordered the fish set lunch menu for 15 pounds. I gotta say, this was very very expensive for the portion size. Therefore I am disappointing. I left still hungry. They could have easily added a few extra perogies. I liked it very much

Tuve una noche fabulosa. Tenía un vale de oferta. Nunca había estado antes, así que no estaba seguro de qué esperar. Todo superó todo lo que podría haber esperado. El personal era fantástico. Muy amable, muy servicial y muy atento, pero no más de poder. La comida era excepcional. Nuestro cupón nos dio una copa de vino gratis. Tenía Starter & Main en bono. Conseguí pan, mantequilla, aceitunas y chocolates después de la comida también. No estoy seguro si es regular o especial por alguna razón, pero incluso tenía un cantante en vivo durante la noche. Sh era muy bueno. NO PUEDE RECOMENDAR ESTE RESTAURANTE MUY SUFICIENTE

Another great meal at Zaman. The Grilled King Prawns are full of flavor and the best T bone steaks in London. The service is exceptional and they away's make you feel like a special guest. Will be back very soon.

Revisited for dinner to enjoy just excellent prawn curry (£15) and a glass of white wine. I have tried a couple of a la carte menu here, but the prawn curry is the best to me. Service is average.

First time going to the Zaman restaurant...I must start by saying a Massive thank you to everyone.. from the head chef,receptionist,bar staff.. overall everyone. Went here for my friend's 40th surprise bday...we had an exceptional time...it was all professionalism..the effort they all made.. they all were courteous,patient,respectful... and much more! Antonio was awesome..all staff... all 20 of us that went had an incredible night and can't thank the Zaman staff enough. The food was to Die for, from starter to finish...the wine was great! The setting was perfect.. we all loved it...perfect and private.. we will definitely going to Zaman again. Thanks a perfect place to go.... great for groups special occasions... then the perks of the casino.. all fun we had a great time!

I have never been to a restaurant with such big menu.You can choose between EUROPE - INDIA - FAR EAST and MEDITERRANEAN. My choice was India and it was very good. The restaurant has white table-clothes and napkins very attentive waiters, and there was even a very nice singer. All this made a very memorable and special evening.

Less food for the amount of money

I come often to this restaurant. There is a lovely atmosphere, food just fantastic and service is perfect. I recommend Zaman’s restaurant to everyone. If you want to feel like at home, come to this place.

Tucked away beneath the Casino next to Marble Arch, this is my go to spot in London for Singapore Noodles, and not China Town. Zaman himself - the Name of the chef, cooks 5 days a week and can be seen frequently chatting, he always pops by to say hello. Delectable curries sit alongside pasta's and American favourites so its an International offering all executed extremely well. You don't have to play in the Casino to eat here either!

A most enjoyable evening with friends. Even though we were using a voucher ,we were given first rate service & the food was very good.

So, after researching a few different restaurants, I found this one highly rated on TripAdvisor. If notice is given, they can even source Halal meat if required. As it is within a Casino, you must have ID to enter even the restaurant.

Great menu selection of Chinese, Mediteranean, and Indian food. The wild mushroom soup was fantastic and the complimentary bread I could have eaten as a main. Note however this is not just a restaurant but is located within a Casino. On arrive we were almost refused entry due to a strict dress code (no slippers, shorts), but were let in so long as we were confined to the restaurant only.

I had mozzarella with Sicilian caponata as a starter and it was just perfect! For main course i had braised veal and also was fantastic! Me and my friends were very happy with excellence service from two Antonio's! Highly recommend

This was my first time, but not the last. Sińce we came in all staff were very polite and helful. Our waiter recommented garlic prawns, which were delicious. I also had chicken madras, and they were yummy 👍

Me and couple of my friends visited this nice restaurant, surprisingly good location just in the heart of Marble Arch. The Restaurant it self looks nice and classy place to have a dinner, service was amazing and prices reasonable for that good quality food. I was reading the comments about this restaurant and it did exceed my expectations. My most favourite dish were prawn curry, it was absolutely delicious! My friends enjoyed amazing crispy duck and in general saying food was really nice and portions decent! Waiters were very professional and service very smooth. Well done guys and thank you so much for amazing experience!

Whilst had read on trip adviser some good reviews, a restaurant in a casino did not produce the highest expectations. How wrong we were.

We visit here whenever in London. Excellent service and good food. Seafood and steak are recommended and there is a variety. My husband chose the Indian and had a wonderful meal. My steak was cooked to medium rare perfection.

Food, especially curry, was fantastic and great value. Also staff except a waiter were attentive. Overall very good but not excellent. A bit surprised at too many 'Excellent' marks.

No podemos clasificar este restaurante lo suficiente. Estábamos buscando un lugar cerca de la Cumberland Hotel donde estábamos alojados por una noche antes de irnos al día siguiente a una excursión. Desde la calle no parece mucho y está asociada con un casino (que no es realmente nosotros) pero fuimos en el memo, de todos modos muy buena pinta. Lo que un caballo de esta era - arca la comida era excelente y el servicio fantástico. Un servicio muy atento sin ser excesivamente agobiar. El personal era muy amable y profesional. La experiencia fue tan buena que volvimos a Londres después de nuestro viaje y estaban de nuevo en Londres por una noche antes de volver a casa, fuimos allí de nuevo. Fue tan buena la segunda vez. Recomienda Zaman a otros de nuestro tour.

Conseguimos una oferta por estar social para una comida de dos platos para dos en este casino restaurante. A nuestra llegada nos dieron manos los menús, pero luego nos dijeron que teníamos el menú fijo. La comida era estándar y nada fuera de lo normal y la frase se obtiene lo que se paga ciertamente viene a la mente. No tengo prisa en volver, pero no puedo en el menú propiamente dicho, tal vez, está bien.

Cené en el Zaman durante mi primer día en Londres. Tanto la comida y el servicio eran excepcionales. El aperitivo de camarón era delicioso y el biryani fue la mejor que he comido nunca. El anfitrión y servidor, Antonio, fue muy amable y profesional. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

Era un poco difícil de encontrar al principio como mapas de Google situado más arriba de la calle en un escaparate abandonadas. Leer más estrechamente, es en realidad dentro del Sportsman Club (casino) y es subterráneo. Al entrar en el edificio, las ramas de entrada al casino y un tramo de escaleras, en el restaurante de abajo. Si no eres miembros del club, que requerirán de ID para verificar que eres de edad para consumir alcohol.

No es digno de su ranking muy alto en tripadvisor pero no está mal, ya que ofrece una variedad de cocinas diferentes y un menú muy razonables (2 por 10 libras, 3 por 15 libras? ) tenía un par de curry que eran buenas junto con algunos calamares y un cóctel de gambas para empezar y postres bien presentado de sticky toffee y el fondant de chocolate. Había un par de bebidas en la factura que no eran la nuestra (un total de 20 libras extra, así que revisa tu cuenta) pero en general el servicio fue muy amable
