The food was very bad; they served it cold. Their service was truly poor in every sense. A waste of money do not recommend it.

Very good ambience and neighberhood, close to the canal. Not the best Persian food in town and sometimes they mix up orders a little bit.

Thieves!! Make sure you don't overpay as they put more items on the bill without you noticing. Worst Iranian restaurant i've ever tried. The food came 50 minutes after we ordered, the restaurant is dirty, untidy and the waiter lacks knowledge on what's required for the customer. The food was either burnt or isn't cooked enough. Avoid coming here at all costs.

It was the worse Iranian restaurant I have been to in my life- food was bad . Customer service was terrible and the whole environment was cold and unpleasant as if it wasn’t a restaurant - it seemed they were being forced to serve you . They don’t have any customers .we just regretted going there .be warned that most good reviews are from a few years ago when the restaurant wasn’t this bad .

The comfort of the restaurant is disgusting and the food is the worst in all parts of the city. In addition, the chef is very rude and cannot speak politely. I hope the owner of the restaurant will reconsider his restaurant because it is the worst ever.

The worst Iranian restaurant I went to was Zershak Plou with chicken, which was the simplest dish, the taste and color of the food was awful

They served spoiled food,they don't speak englis, no kind service.

I ordered for the chicken stew and I was not happy with it. The sauce was bland with tomatoes bits in it when you pour it on the rice - it look liked it came out of a tin and mixed with the chicken. Really disappointing experience and I am not sure why they are serving like this.

I placed an order for 2 minced lamb shish kebabs on Uber Eats, but I received only 1. I attempted to contact them, but unfortunately, there is no phone number available to reach them.

The food was horrible! Customer service as same as food. Even they forgot to bring my drink then when I finish my food the brought it. I asked for extra napkins but the behaviour wasn’t professional at all. I have had a lam kebab and chicken with rice but the kebab was too much salty and the chicken uncooked.

This is not the 80's. You can not serve people drinks with dispensible cups. You can not say that food is served with Nan bread and serve a tortilla from Tesco... And the food... Not sure how this place is still open

Went there with my family as it was quiet for my Autistic son. Apart from the chips being hot nothing else was. There was only one woman serving (who couldn’t speak proper English) and she took the food away to be warmed up. When it came to paying I asked for a discount for the food being cold and the same woman and chef denied the food was cold, making excuses that the meat went cold because it was served with salad. In the end I didn’t pay service charge and the woman told me and my family not to come again (which we won’t anyway). My son who is autistic told her to ‘shut up’ and that woman said it back to him to which I lost my temper and told her about disabilities! Please avoid this place at all costs!!

Not really a sense of customer service. There were maybe 2 customers in the restaurant, and I'm not sure yet. But they let me wait a long time while there is no one. If I hadn't turned to the person obviously in charge of the restaurant, I wouldn't have even been spoken to. I will not return

Overall experience was pathetic. For starters staff was only One lady who welcomed us , she was cleaning, serving and mopping all simultaneously with her bare hands. The ambience was dull, smelt like detergent and chemical. Finally the food was over priced and bland. Not happy with the experience at all. Overall cost for 2 was £41. Never going back again.

Food is fantastic! We tried some of their lamb curry and a chicken dish. It’s was really good.

Really nice experience. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked, the chicken was juicy and fell apart and the saffron rice was perfect. The strawberry mocktail was £8 which seemed expensive but they give you a good portion and it tastes fresh. Very nice atmosphere too and not too crowded, they had booth seating so it was very comfy too.

We ordered two meals (a Lamb Ghormeh Sabzi and a Vegitarian Gheyme Yellow Split Peas Stew). The ‘Vegetarian’ Split Peas Stew had meat in it. Not just a bit (by accident), but it was a meat dish. Beware when ordering from this restaurant, as the Vegetarian dishes aren’t vegetarian at all. Very poor.

Strangely, despite the restaurant being open, nobody was there. We called out and got no response, so we decided to leave.

I ordered at 20:55 pm , just eat app’s saying the foods has deleted at 21:43 . The time is 22:30 and I’m still waiting to get my ordered. Nobody called me from the shop for the delay time …

Food arrived late and cold. Rice tasted like it was scooped out from the bottom of the pan, the chicken was extremely dry with no seasoning, looked like it came out screaming and got seasoned with turmeric.

This Persian restaurant is the worst I have ever visited. The management is extremely poor, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service. I have visited this restaurant twice, once during peak hours and another during the day when there were few customers, and on both occasions, my order was delayed by more than an hour. What is more, the owner blamed me for the delay each time, which was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, the restaurant made mistakes with my order on both occasions, and I was charged for them. Although they gave me some compensation on the second occasion, it did not make up for the poor service and mistakes made. The food quality at this restaurant is the lowest I have ever encountered in any Persian restaurant, not only in Birmingham but also throughout the UK. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant. There are much better options in the vicinity, such as Khayyam, which is just down the street. Overall, I hope that this restaurant improves its customer service and food quality in the future.

Really enjoyed the food here. It was a huge portion so well worth the price. The lamb steak kebab was so tender and juicy. The customer service was 5*. They were very attentive and also gave a me a quiet place to pray. Will love to visit again soon.

Fancied somewhere different to eat, so gave this place ago. There was 4 of us, so we had a set meal for 4, plus 3 starters. Food was stunning, and there was more than enough food for 4 adults, chicken, lamb chops, rice, fries, etc. Drinks selection could be improved, but great evening.

Walked past this place so many times I thought we would give it a try. The sign said “All you can eat buffet” so myself and the kids were happy. However once inside they said they don’t do that now. Food and drinks were ordered and took a while to arrive, flavours were good and food piping hot. Avoid the mock tails as I have no idea what mine was but it wasn’t what it should have been. Prices were above average and portions were very generous.

We came with kids and they were looking annoyed becoz of kids... they were rude.also they were not happy because kids were taking candy's at the end which was complementary. Not kid friendly at all

The minced kebab was extremely poor quality to the extend that we left both skewers untouched. The staff were friendly but did not bother to ask if there was anything wrong with the food.

The chicken shish kebab was disappointingly small and lacked flavour for £14. The music was excessively loud and the 'naan' was merely a rockhard slab of flat, seeded bread. Would not recommend

Really enjoyed what we ordered. Our 2 years old loved the lamb kebab. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Will definitely go back.

I went to this restaurant with few friends and the food was really nice. We had lots of different foods and all were delicious. A buffet with that price and quality is non existing in Birmingham. We enjoyed the food and definitely will go there again.

Stumbled upon this restaurant an invitation from the chef who was sitting outside. Buffet style Persian, Arabic style food. Some pleasant flavours but all at an ambient temperature. Cheap pitta hard under the lights not Arabic bread. Kebabs and Schwarma ok but ended up having to have it warmed to make it palatable. Tea with cinnamon authentic and monumental. I hope it gets better as trying but a way to go

In this restaurant: Food, Presentation, serving and venue are all great. Can not be faulted in any way.

Wasn't too impressed with the food, too many b0nes in my fish, had to wait for my food to cool down to eat as was very hot. Place was quiet, but given around Christmas and it was a Sunday night.

Great place to dine for all the family, the Lamb Tagine was just sublime. Excellent vegetarian options, and extremely good value..

Poor food quality, meat seemed off. My friend was served the wrong meal and did not get a replacement. The man who did our order tried to say my friend ordered something different when he did not. THREE of us ordered the same thing, and the person who ordered different also got the wrong order. Terrible service, terrible food. AVOID at all costs. Its worth waiting a bit longer for the Nandos next door. There's a reason this restaurant is always empty.

Such awful food. SO BLAND. No flavour, no taste. So expensive. They brought the wrong order and didn’t apologise and didn’t offer to exchange for the right order. In fact, the man was gaslighting us into believing we ordered something we didn’t. He was completely unapologetic. So rude. Instead of admitting that they brought the wrong food, they started accusing of us ‘playing tricks’. They charged us more than they should have. None of us even touched our food, barely ate anything and we payed £52 for it. Two out of four orders were wrong. The food had no taste and was one of the worst food I have ever had. This was our first and last time there. They do not care about their customers. Save yourself some time and money and DO NOT go there.

These lot are having a laugh. Charged me £8 for some frozen supermarket pizza. Was disgusting. Fries were greasy, rice was very bland. Chicken skewers were nice but everything else was trash. Legit left this place still hungry. On top of the they try charge a service charge. Do not go here.

Choice of Persian food as d bedéin

If I had chance I would give zero stars. First they charge me 9 pound for supermarket 89p pizza, secondly the portion was tiny and it didn't fill me up I still felt hungry after eating a plate of rice and meat. They gave us 1 pound sauce from poundland, the music was too loud, design was off, and on top of that they charged us service charge. The worst place to go and just a rip off.

Terrible food, terrible staff, terrible service. They didn’t have most of the items on the menu, The service was absolutely awful you have to ask for plates, cutlery and napkins yourself. If you want good quality persian food, I would NOT recommend this place.

APPALLING. SHOCKING. HORRENDOUS. Dreadful service. Time management poor, forgot to bring a menu to the table. Waited ages to order and for drinks to arrive, items advertised on the menu where not available to order so don’t expect to have a huge choice of food. Even the food they had to offer was of bad taste and smell and of the poorest quality. AVOID - save your time & money and pop to Nando’s next door.

Don't be put off by the terrible decor!! The food was so, so good. Authentic food, beautifully cooked meat (its so rare to find places that can properly cook tender lamb and keep its flavour), lovely persian tea. The staff were so kind too. The food portions were HUGE but you can pack up any leftovers. Only two reasons the place didnt get a 5 star review is because the toilets were a bit grim and the decor was awful (I wish I could redecorate the place or something because they really, really do deserve more customers).

Appalling food quality, no wonder why this resturant had zero cuatomers on an otherwise busy night. The service was terrible too. The atmosphers is perhaps the less disgusting feature with some very loud music 🤦🏻‍♂️

Our second visit, this time coming with friends, warm welcome, good service throughout the evening, varied menu and well presented.

Hygiene: place doesnt look the most hygienic and might benefit from some more looking after. Decor: place has a weird vibe to it that might push some people away if they give much importance to aesthetics in general. Service: slow at times, but usually reasonable. Food: the main reason for coming. Portion sizes are generous and seems to be freshly made. Dishes mainly come with saffron rice which is quite good. Meat and chicken are juicy, tender and have plenty of flavour. My favourite dish is the Lamb Shanks/ribs which has an exceptional taste due to the incorporated fat that comes naturally with any lamb piece.

Omg , me and my friends were very excited to go here, it was empty only one table wonder why 🤨 , firstly we ordered the hummus, that was really nice But when mains came , I ordered lamb shish with saffron rice it was not nice very chewy and bland rice was just boiled with yellow bits on top 🙄🤨 my friends ordered chicken shish with fries and they just said it wasn’t nice , they also ordered mojitos but was given virgin mojito twist and don’t get me started on them it looked like swamps just full of wet mint!!😭😭😭😂 also no one checked back on us only one manager working who was Smily but useless! We ordered the bull without service charge, but the manager went back to give the other guy the machine we paid then he returned back u have still 10 pound more but we refused I said no service charge!!!!!!!!! Get it right and get the food right and drinks I only enjoyed my 7up and hummus 👍 never going back here and I don’t think anyone should 🤪

We are a great movie lovers and a frequent cineworld customer , we might have walk past this restaurant a dozens of times . Today we finally decided to try this place and I would say it was a good decision. We ordered some lamb chops, lamb steak kebabs, shish kebabs with rice. It was delicious , reasonable price, good quantity, nice service. To be honest it was worth it.

Says £8 any course of meal and charges you £10.00. When you ask for explanation they give very unprofessional response by do you want your £2.00 back? Makes you say no. Food taste is also not good. This restaurant has changed owner many times and it’s due to lake of experience and professionalism. I don’t recommend it and will not show up here again.

Food was really delicious and staff attentive. Few things that I didn't like were: Sauces should be served in a small pots rather than bottles, just to give it dinning in a restaurant experience. Place could do with a decent decoration outside and inside to attract customers. (The only reason I came here was because Nandos was packed). The price for soft drinks are extortionate. £2.50 for a coke??? The place was really COLD 🥶, NO HEATING. Everyone was wearing their jackets.

Great atmosphere but the food was terrible. Ordered a pizza and got an Aldi frozen pizza. The Meat also wasn’t very great (tasted store bought). The lemonade in my drink was also flat. Lovely staff and great aesthetics!

The first time going to the restaurant we were very disappointed, the plates were cold and one came dirty which we had to send back. The service was poor no check up to see if we enjoyed our meal some of the meat was tough, and the food went cold very quickly because the plate was cold.would not recommend.

The restuarnt was cold i did not even take off my jacket the food was cold as well becuse of the plate being cold. The waitor wore a visor which was dripping with condensation which was off putting, also the people next to us found plastic in their food and had to get the meal for free which they chose not to finish.

I came here with my family as they flew here to visit me. We order the plate for four thinking that if something will be left, we'll take it later. But it didn't happen! The food was so tasty we literally spend few hours inside drinking Persian tea and eating special ice cream with saffron and pistachios. I thought it will take 30-60 minutes for the food to come as it's very big amount of meat, but it came very quickly and perfectly cooked! Nothing burnt, nothing dry. If only I had second stomach I would order another plate! The place looks really nice, they also have a singer playing in the quitar. If anyone wants a nice date or a place to take their family to, this is perfect! Also the prices are pretty low compare to other restaurants around.

The food was really great, especially the minced lamb, halloumi and Persian tea! We’ve spent here the whole evening, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!
