Hustle and bustle coz it’s worth it here. Eat peacefully in the car in the road’s corner or a side road a minute away or eat inside with the joyful yelling of Pakistani customers and chefs. Always getting the seekh kebab and fried and a (ethical) brand of drink and never gets boring or unappetising . Not giving 5 for no reason. Resonates calm within me And get pizza as a top up coz it’s cheesy and cool

Took long to serve. The worker then took some food outside and told someone else to do my order. The donner meat was mixed in with the chips, not sure if some equipment was broken. Finally, the guy charged me more than the price advertised on the board. I queried it but he didn't seem to care.

The chips are fresh also the pizza is spectacular.The pizza here is the best.

I recently visited Broadway Kebab House, and I must say it was a very disappointing experience. The food portions were extremely small, leaving me still hungry after my meal. The service was soo bad, and the workers were incredibly rude, which made the whole experience even worse. The Chicken Donner was overcooked and hard, making it almost impossible to eat. The chips were undercooked and tasted raw. The chicken was drenched in grease, which was very off-putting. To top it all off, the prices were outrageously expensive for the quality and quantity of food provided. Overall, I would not recommend Broadway Kebab House to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else where you can get better food, service, and value.

Rang for delivery and guy told me it be done within 35-45 mins an hour later no body come to my house asked to confirm my address and the guy on the phone didn’t want my post code even though I asked him twice if he can’t find my house. After an hour found out he give my order to wrong address. These lot are gone downhill over the years; thought I try them out after ages & if I knew my food wouldn’t come I could literally drove to somewhere decent and collected it within an hour. Never ever again I am ordering for these absolute morons

Scrumptious chicken doner 10 out of 10, lovely lamb donor and very generous portions. Will be visiting again soon. My son asked a lovely lady who just picked up her order " what do you rate it out of 10" she replied " 10" so we decided to give it a go.

Not the same as it used to be. Service has gone down alot , with the price rises you would’ve thought food quality should stay high but it’s gone down vastly. They start serving their friends who jump the queue. Would not recommend anymore - AK Chippy on Heathfield Road best around.

This kebab house is probably the better of very many with varied variety of foods that will tickle ur taste buds which is decent quality Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is busy

Never go again this place.i order by phone 6.58pm there told me 15min I go there on time but I received my food 7.12pm I know this place is busy but this time there are not a busy there talk each other and talking I ask them I’m waiting for 30min there tell me if u don’t wait cancel your orders There don’t care about customer

Not sure if new owners or if its the 1st shift as iv not been their at that time before. Usually eat regardless if theirs an issue, they couldn't handle 4 customers yesterday and yet I didn't say anything with the quality I was recieved. All I said to that 1 guy working behind by the donner meat section with a weird sideburns, half and half side burns, that your donner was ice cold. Even though I ate it. Just thought I'd let him know. He turns around and says we'll its been 20mins u sat their eating, trying to say it would be cold if I been their that long. Rude manners with attitude. Lucky i ate it, but that's how this chip shop Asians are like!!

Took them over an hour to deliver 2 items and still got the order wrong.

On 2nd January I ordered food and some food was missing I called them tht food is missing thy said they will send my food when driver will come back I waited 1 hour for my food thn I called again and there was no response thn I had to order online from somware else. Had to pay double not happy with the service.

The best chippy around always fresh food good selection of pizzas, grilled food, burgers, and loads of other varieties I love the famous chilli sauce very unique and only available at this chippy

Staff here are really friendly, both to their regulars and to newcomers. I loved the atmosphere - everyone was made to feel welcome. The food was also delicious - my wife, who hardly praises takeaways loved their masala fish in naan; I enjoyed the kebab rolls. Prices are really good - surprised how little it cost to feed 5 adults and two kids

I’m not a huge take away fan but a colleague insisted this place was good. 3 of us had lunch , I had a chicken burger and chips with a cup of tea and I can honestly say it was the best take away I’ve ever had. The chips were perfect and the burger was delicious and although a cup of tea wasn’t on the menu the owner immediately said no problem I’ll make you one now - that’s proper service. Will definitely be visiting again 😋

The food is not consistent. Sometimes you will get the traditional British chips, and then sometimes you will get the store frozen thin chips. Not what you expect from typical Bristish chippy shop.

Could be just like the old days but seems like they are way to busy so therefore mess up your food especially when taking phone orders for collection your food is ready sitting der but don't want to serve u lack of communication skills

Food is OK. We usually get chicken tikka on naan. The donner kebab is decent and chips can be tasty. Don't bother getting a slice of margareta pizza, on display it's barely edible and a waste of money. Fried chicken is OK of it's fresh. The chillie sauce & mayo (together) is recommended on chips or donner. It's the sauce combo that this shop is famous for. Service is OK but it is a busy shop. Don't be surprised if you have to wait at least 30mins on a Friday or Saturday night, even if you have ordered over the telephone. The staff seem organized but on a busy evening the fryer should be full of chips constantly yet people have to wait for chips and then there is chaos once chips are ready and you are sometimes left waiting for another batch. hygiene isn't a priority, don't expect to see hair nets! Servers routinely pick up chips with their hands (no gloves) that slip off the wrapper paper and fall to the side on the service top and replace them on the paper. The same servers often handle money. You may see people skipping the queue who know the management and are regulars. One of the guys at the front isn't the best with customer care- I once ordered a chicken tikka and he asked me whether it was a small or large and at the time of the order the person on the phone didn't ask me whether I wanted a small or large but the server thought this was my fault and something I "should know". He (Pakistani immigrant from his accent) let's the side down and shouldn't be in a customer facing role in my opinion. They had an amazing server (Bilal) who has moved away and no longer works there and standards have dipped considerably since he left. There is seating in the shop in the form of a couple of booths but it's not always cleaned. There are no toilets or hand washing facilities. There is only on street parking and that is difficult to find when the shop is busy. Some stupid customers have made a habit of double parking outside which is dangerous and inconsiderate. It's not the fault of the shop but they should maybe put up a notice to deter that sort of parking behaviour. Historically, this was one of the best chippies in the Aston area but due to change in ownership a few times over the years the food quality has dropped and prices have gone up. I will and do still go here mainly out of reluctance and convenience - I wouldn't really recommend Broadway chippy especially to someone visiting Birmingham but it does the basics right-ish and is one of the better chippies out of a bad bunch in Aston.

Not much to say but great chippy, tasty food , a few seating. Weekend evenings are very busy .

Regular Fish & Chips with Curry Sauce Regular Lamb Doner & Chips Daddy Burger Meal They gave us a free fish which was nice of them. The chips and curry sauce were nice, fish was soggy with no taste. Doner kebab meat was not decent quality and salad had stale smell. Chips were alright. Broadway is the originator of the Daddy Burger! The stale salad let it down👎 but the chicken, cheese and sauce were delicious. 👍 Coca-Cola can was ice cold 👍 Chips were OK had lots of chilli & mayo £13 for the lot They need to stop serving stale salad!

I'm from alum rock and decides to try this shop out of nowhere lol its the beat chip shop ever and they have not let me down once. Best mayonnaise in the world lol chips are just perfect!!!

Chicken Breast Burgers are the best

very very very bad service staff not botherd if u complain about anything very bad attitude had to wait 2 HOURS AND 20 mints to recive food and half of the meal stil did not turn up never go again 0 out of 5.

Believe the reviews, I made the mistake to order and was told hour, took 4 phone calls and 2hrs 30 min later food arrived. Nice food and was warm. But learn to be honest as not fair to keep families waiting that length of time. AVOID!!

Zero if possible, delivery is terrible. Stay away unless you can wait 2 hours. These lot just dont care, i phoned after nearly 2 hours after they said 1 hour delivery, and he kept saying “his left his left” and keeps cutting me off. What a joke. They so busy that they dont need your custom! Thats just sad.

En el momento en que son uno de los peores. Tomar sus pedidos constantemente mal y si se quejan los propietarios hijo Bilal Sohail es muy grosero y arrogante. Si no está trabajando Bilal Sohail el servicio es mucho mejor y la comida es cocinada adecuadamente. Bilal Sohail siempre procura cocinar todo rápido y mal cocidos. Los precios son un poco caro y luego ya siempre es más carga Bilal cuando tenga varios artículos en su orden. El personal de esta tienda bien tocar su comida con sus propias manos y me parece aceptable para trabajar en sus chancletas. He visto esta varias veces. Las tiendas no muy limpio como solía ser de hecho creo que si la salud ambiental pagaron una visita que podría considerar el cierre de la tienda. La mitad del personal de la cocina no hablan inglés. Tienen gatos merodeando en la tienda durante el tiempo que están abiertas. Dicen que el pescado es el bacalao, pero siempre sabe como panga pescado. Siempre pregunte si quieres ensalada y si no todo lo que te dan es la lechuga. Ellos creen que son los mejores, pero hay tantas tiendas mejores ahora. Creo que este día tenía sus tiendas. Service has gone down a lot recently. Food quality is appalling some days and customer service needs much improving. Hardly ever answer the phone and when they do , you still end up at the back of the queue when you go to pick up your order.

This is one of the best fast food place in Birmingham. Been eating from this take away since childhood. This is the original Broadway don't get fooled by Broadway 2 and 3. If you haven't tried it I will recommend this place. The service is good, staff are very good don't mind the wait. I don't agree with the recent comment made.

I've been eating at Broadway for years and whilst I have eaten at many fast food places in Birmingham, Broadway is head and shoulders above the competition. The Daddy Burger is the best burger in town.

Just had our fish and chips 5 minutes ago, and it was probably the worst meal we've ever had. My brothers had chicken & chips and donner meat & chips, and they all complained how the donner and chicken tasted dry and old and the chips quality has gone down. Me and the wife had fish & chips as we have been craving it for a while, weasked for a large one and charged for one too but they gave two tiny pieces of cod that didn't have that cod taste and they gave enough chips for one person when normally we can't even finish one portion between us both. When I first rang to place the order I asked them clearly if they have everything fresh otherwise I won't buy but the man promised me there's hardly anything left anyway so they would have to make most of it fresh - what a disappointment. I rang to complain and now they said that they were closing so that's all they had but he did said if I went back he would give me more fish and chicken. I told him you've lost regular customers and if you carry on like this you'll lose a lot more. Honest advise- everyone avoid this place as there's plenty of other better fish and chips shops in the area .

Been ordering from here for the last 5 years. Never experienced a dip in quality. Chicken donner in nan is great, always fresh and succulent, other chippies sometimes it dries out but not here. Chips are excellent. Gets really busy after Friday prayers and when schools finish. If you're anywhere near Aston go here you won't regret it. Good bunch of lads on the staff, always polite to all customers and they try and get your food to you as quick as possible.

We are going to this takeaway for many years and always the food is very tasty. I personally like their donor kebabs tray but recently their portions are gone on smaller size. Still its the taste which is consistently good.

I live in London and have a ton of great places to eat. But when it comes to Donner meat and chips, I've gotta get myself to this humble lil kebab shop in Birmingham. Haven't tried much else there, but the donner kebab is just right. They have a dedicated guy whose only job is to cook the donner kebab. Thin but meaty strips of delicious donner meat wrapped up with a generous helping of great traditional chip shop chips. Portions are HUGE. This will definitely fill you up. I don't usually eat donner but this is one place where I'm happy to make an exception.

Broadway is the best chip shop ever, i have phases where i eat here everyday, they have the best chips i have had in the UK, i wish there were more of these in other cities.

This is tucked away in a residential area. The queue is usually out the door as it's so popular. The kebabs are great, it's clean and to a good standard. Can't fault it -only issue is the wait for the food but again being so busy understandable.
