Liked the free bread platter given whilst you wait for your food. The vine leaves were great not had them with lemon before but adds to the flavour. Lamb Shish Wrap was tasty and very filling.

This place is absolutely overpriced. The food is not that good either.

Food was great, some staff were not as attentive as others but never the less I got the assistance I needed. Open and friendly restaurant with a variety of turkish cuisine, would come again.

I walked in ordered for my brother and dad and we get a grill plate for 3. All the food tasted so old and when we were about to go we found out that my dads £50 tracksuit ripped because of their so called “ amazing chair” . They didnt compensate us with anything and just said sorry but sorry isnt good enough. I hope you send us an email by this one and compensate us. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

Food was very good but took some time to get. Beer is thru the roof expensive like what is going on?! Atmosphere was nice but when getting ready to go they stood there watching us and it was a bit weird

My family and I decided to dine at Turknazz in Sutton Coldfield for lunch, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we were the only customers, which initially seemed promising. We were greeted normally and invited to sit wherever we liked. However, from the moment the waitress began taking our order, it was evident that her enthusiasm was lacking. She approached us with minimal energy, and throughout our meal, she constantly stared at us, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable. Her persistent gaze was unsettling, and despite my attempts to subtly signal her to stop, it was ineffective. Spending over £100 for a meal, we expected a comfortable dining experience, but the service was disappointing. Her lack of engagement and unprofessional demeanor was evident, especially when she openly blew her nose at the bar without washing her hands or stepping away. This display of poor hygiene was off-putting, especially as we were trying to enjoy our meal. The manager noticed her behavior and seemed concerned, but the issue persisted. Being a waiter myself, I understand the importance of making customers feel at ease, and her constant staring was far from professional. To add to the discomfort, our lamb seekh kebab was off—it had an unpleasant smell and was not cooked properly. Although we informed the waitress, the resolution was unsatisfactory. The chef merely came out and looked at us without addressing the issue, and no one followed up to check on our satisfaction or offer assistance. The rest of the food was decent, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service and lack of attention to customer comfort and hygiene. Having previously visited the Mosley branch, where both the service and food were exceptional, I highly recommend visiting there instead. Turknazz in Sutton Coldfield needs significant improvement in staff training and customer service to match the quality we experienced at Mosley.

Nice restaurant with good quality food. We enjoy Turkish food for its simplicity and flavour and this restaurant is as good as any other we have been to. Drinks are a little expensive but good to see a small selection of desserts as well.

Food has been excellent when I have ordered from here before although very expensive even for Turkish restaurants. The reason for the 1 star is that the restaurant staff have verbally stated that the restaurant is Halal however on Uber Eats when I went to order from here it states 'Braised Pork Rice' is a speciality although not selectable from Uber Eats menu. My question to the restaurant is: Please advise whether the restaurant serves halal food or not, If it is a genuine mistake then I will be happy to update my rating accordingly.

Went for lunch for my Sons Birthday was really underwhelming . Only one other couple in there waitress didn't smile at all and looked really miserable. Food and drinks Overpriced and average salad tasteless . One toilet only which had a urinal in which I found off putting . A large Turkish family arrived and we felt like we were in the wrong place . Not at all welcoming will not be returning ever !

Me and my husband love Turkish food and culture so it was only right to visit Turknazz for my birthday meal on 12/06 It was a nice quiet evening, the waitress was very attentive and lovely she even complimented me which was very sweet and made my evening that little bit more special. We ordered the Turknazz Platter for 2 and a mocktail while we were waiting we were given complimentary bread and dips with olive which is always lovely. Our food came and it did not disappoint. The presentation, the portion size, everything about it was perfection. Even the salad that came was presented beautifully. The meat was so juicy and tender, the rice and bulgur was infused with so much flavour from the meat, the salad was fresh and the mocktail was refreshing. We left very happy and satisfied 🥰 can’t wait to visit again soon. Would highly recommend to everyone 10/10

I’ve now been to Turk Nazz twice and I have to to say the service and food is absolutely superb. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. I’ve been to Turkey a few times but the food they serve here is authentic and much much better. Thank you. We will definitely be back. X

I visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome from the start. The sauces served with the meals were simply amazing – perfectly paired with the dishes. The waiting time for the food was relatively short, around 30 minutes, which was quite satisfactory. The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, and the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes, ranging from £25 to £45 per meal. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Another fabulous meal here. Food is of such a high quality. Everything was amazing. Only thing that spolit the experience was a very miserable member of staff. Assume she was inexperienced as bordered on being rude with her lack of interaction and very slow service. However this will not deter us from visiting again or recommending.

Second and final time going to this restaurant. The service is appalling unless you are from a certain culture. Well done does not mean well done here. Spent £150 and I certainly won’t be doing that again. Would have had more of an experience with a take out McDonald's. No offence McDonalds.

Love their food. It's overpriced but totally worth it. It has a meaty smell, but the taste is authentic. Portion size is decent. Only problem is if you dont book a place in advance you may not get a place to sit during weekends and evenings. But they encourage to take away if it's fully booked.

Delivery a bit late. The ‘falafel’ name is misleading, I was expecting falafels, not a chickpeas paste (the flavour was ok). The chips seem like cheap, shop-bought frozen ones and the chilli sauce was very bitter.

Some people have the knowledge and capabilities to create authentic cuisine and deliver 10/10 meals. Turknazz is one of them. Absolutely perfect

Turknazz Sutton Coldfield is one of the best Turkish restaurants I have ever been at. The food, the service and the atmosphere is second to none. it's so good i took all of my family members for luch many many times there and they loved it especially my Father in law who is not easy to please at all ...lool. In adiition to that i recommended the restaurant to my work colleagues and Mannager for Christmas Dinner 2024 and again could not as for better food, service and atmosphere They all loved it very much!! Many& many thanks to the very nice hard working gentleman who the restaurant Manager 'Can' and his team who always welcomes you with a smile and a first class customer service. Top class restaurant & top class Management 👏 👌 👍 🙌. Thank you all very much!!!

The price of the food has significantly risen from the last time we ate here, the portion sizes are huge, would prefer a smaller portion and a smaller price. When the food arrived there was one meal missing, so we didn’t all eat together, plus there was what looked like a Turkish stag party going on, about 25/30 men, all very load and music too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation.very disappointing

We visited early Friday evening and had Great food we really enjoyed our starters and main - would recommend this place . The waitress was prompt and took our drinks and food orders. The staff were very friendly and attentive which was lovely. Food was served hot and tasted incredible - compliments to the chefs. The only reason I didn’t give 5 was for the toilet. It was shared male/female - ok fine. it wasn’t as clean as the restaurant disappointingly. The urinal plumbing was dirty which was off putting and a new door needed perhaps as well as tiles cleaning. The toilet seat needs fixing when you sit on it moves. There were hand written signs up in the toilet to not flush paper towels and to dry hands with the door closed. I’d print these to make them look more professional.

Visited this branch after a good experience in Shirley. Meal started very well, amazing chicken wings and good sauces and bread. My wife’s chicken breast was not cooked properly. We complaint to a server and she did not do anything about. Did not inform the chef or the manager. We asked for the bill and mention again about the issue with the chicken to the person en charge but did not seem to be very worried about. Will not come back again here.

Welcoming and friendly. We had four different meals and we were all impressed by the taste and quality. And excellent meal . Something for everyone, good variety on menu . I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

I was recommended this place and hoped that the place was as good as suggested by friends. I can only say that I'm disappointed. For starters, I found several flies in my food. I understand that in places that keep the door or windows open, flies can get in, but find them in the food is a completely different thing. I had to ask several times for our drinks and been given flat sparkling drinks. People that came after us got the food quicker. Many people almost fall due to a very slippery floors. And prices higher than other Turkish restaurants I visited before. I was sick the next day and for sure, I will not recommend this place.

Food is ok but is small and expensive... and why do you call yourself Turkish restaurant if you don't have the yoghurt lamb soup??? You are the same as the others kebabs in Birmingham... that's why i drive 2h every weekend to eat in London to a proper Turkish restaurant with a proper Turkish chef... even if i have to wait 1h for a free table, i eat proper Turkish food... London Turkish restaurants are the best as always😏

Went tonight and loved the place. Very friendly and courteous staff. I asked a staff member what one of the dips was made from that came with the bread and 2 minutes later she delivered more of it as I said I enjoyed it. She didn't have to do that as I never asked for more but the little attention to detail from the staff is what makes a place. The platter we shared was simply beautiful. Cant speak highly enough of this restaurant and will be back soon. Keep up the good work.

Food tasted nice but the chicken wasn't fully cooked (ordered a mixed grill platter dish) and had food poisoning afterwards. We had our meal at 5 o'clock on a dead Monday afternoon 17th July - we were the only people in the restaurant (2 adults and 1 child) with 2 waiters. The female waitress looked so disinterested & did not make us feel welcome - did not ask if our food was ok or needed anything else. Did not bother offering a desserts menu / turkish delight or tea/coffee so we left without. Expensive considering the poor service - shame the service wasn't better and the chicken cooked fully otherwise would have been worth the money and would have given a 4/5 star review.

Previously noted as an average restaurant due to an experience in Moseley, we hadn't planned on going back to Turknazz. But we dropped in on Thursday late afternoon to give another chance to the Sutton branch. We were more than delighted! All the food was as good as it looked, service was prompt and friendly and we ate for a reasonable price. Everything was pretty much perfect and we'll definitely be returning, hoping for a consistent experience. Mocktails were generous in size and delicious 😋

Visited this evening with my husband, we had some hummus, lamb shish with rice and salad, falafel wrap with chips. Good service, nice food, the falafel was a bit unusual because had bits of sweet potato inside but was ok. Adeqvate price for the zone. We all know this food is much cheaper in other places, but if you want to be in a nice ambient, try this one.

After a long time around West Midlands found a great Turkish restaurant :) Fantastic food, the best we’ve had for a long time tbh! Staffs are amazing, attentive, polite, very courteous, the kind that you’re just looking for. We had cold starters, a family platter of rice and nicely cooked kebabs yummy and tender and delicious, the salad was fresh, drinks and a Turkish tea and Baghlawa! Had a lovely lunch today, couldn't fault the service or quality of food. Little things like being presented with bread, dips and olives whilst waiting for food impressed me hugely and suggest an ethos of attention to detail and generosity in hospitality, something that I find lacking in most restaurants these days. I had the house lemonade to drink, absolutely delicious, I didn't feel I was missing out by not having an alcoholic drink. A first visit and based on my experience today it won't be the last.

The food was satisfactory, with the lamb shish being the standout dish among our orders. The portion size was decent. However, the prices seemed slightly on the higher side. Unfortunately, the service was subpar despite the restaurant being relatively empty at the time. We had to wait almost an hour for our dishes to be served, which was disappointing. Overall, there is room for improvement in terms of service, especially given the prices.

Came across this place whilst searching for somewhere to have some lunch on Easter Sunday. The food was amazing & fresh, I ordered a platter for two and it was perfection. It was full of flavour & the salad was great. Definitely will come again when I’m in the area!!

Disappointing portion size for the cost

We had another fabulous meal here. The food and service was great. Had a vegetarian mousakka which was very tasty, the salad accompaniment was beautiful, fresh and with a delicious dressing and topped with pomegranate seeds. All really lovely and would totally recommend it xxxx

Very pleasantly impressed by the quality of the dishes, very fine meat. I have eaten in several Turkish restaurants, but this one is on top for me. It is very clear that the restaurant has a very good Cheff. Somae was very responsive, kind and attentive. Very happy and impressed by the restaurant.
