Really bad service...food was 4/10 Desert milk cak 6/10 All over not very pleasant experience

Places was really good and staff are friendly also the food was tasty. I recommend the curry goat as this has got no spice just flavour Thank you for a pleasant visit 🙏😊

Has to be one of the worse so called Turkish cuisine. The meat smell rotten, the rice is hard and salad is old. Ordered 2 meals but hardly ate any. Avoid avoid avoid …..

I ordered the chicken Adana and chicken sheesh for the second time today. The food never disappoints. The rice was nice and flavourful and the chips were great. I took a friend who really enjoyed the place too.

Restaurant is definitely not turkish and nowhere near it. They're all Asians and not even from here. Hardly speak any English. They have a big leaflet by the till which says asian food. I thought why not..so I ordered lamb biryani and lentil curry or whatever its called. Paid £17 for two pieces of lamb with some rainbow looking rice and it was spicy as hell. The "dhaal" lentils was even worse..I couldn't even eat it because of spicy it was..bloody £17 went straight to the bin. Can Pakistanis please stop acting Turkish or as if they know about Tukrish food. its NOWHERE near your type of food which is spicy and Turkish food tastes a lot better.

This place is not a Turkish restaurant, please don’t be fooled by the name. I’m Turkish myself and this food is far too spicy. The chef is noway Turkish.

Arrived late on a Thursday evening and needed something quick, looked nice from the outside, had Chicken Shawarma with chips and Mixed Chicken & Lamb on a Naan bread, both absolutely delicious and good portion size.

Went to the Hatfeild branch food was delicious and service was excellent

My rate would be 1/5 because it wasn’t very welcoming at all. If we ask how long it will be, they get angry. The food they have given was completely different compared to the one I’ve seen on the menu

Lamb here is the best!. They also have breakfast and dessert !

No exaggeration, this is THE BEST lamb shish I have ever had and I've had many.

The staff and management system is chaotic: a full blown shouting argument erupted between staff & our side dishes were angrily plonked onto our table before the waiter flounced! No table service - we had to fetch the plates, cutlery and cups ourselves. Friends of staff milling in and out of the kitchen the entire time. Another table's order was mismanaged with orders getting mixed up. No light in men's toilet - son needed phone torch to use the facility. Husband cut his arm on part of a metal sheet randomly sticking out and away from a decaying section of the toilet wall. Women's toilet drabby, shabby, tired looking and dirty. It's advertised as 5* food hygiene rated (which is why we gave it a go having walked past it the day before) but it's really not from what we witnessed. The Turkish style food was ok. Just shy of quite nice. We'll not go back though. 2.5 stars is what I'm giving.

The Adana were terrible absolutely rubbish meat I can't explain how bad it taste. And it's not Turkish at all I had I have Turkish cuisine at least once a week from different Turkish restaurants and take away the taste the quality and the ingredients are totally different from here. I try to this take away twice this one is the last one as the quality taste and ingredients are terrible bad and rubbish.

Worst place to eat at! Food was so salty and not fresh at all. Also they have misplaced our order. Quality price is a real robbery. And the service the counter man was so rude . Shame on them!

Good value for money, very tasty kebabs. Meat very well marinated and not too spicy. Turkish dlight better than most.

Excellent selection of fast foods from Turkish to Caribbean. Bonus - you are able to park outside well most times I visit.

Too many types of cuisines serve here. For example fried chicken, turkish food, jamaican food, chipshop food, curries and more. Looks very nice and clean but very deceiving. Paid £8 for something i get in a normal turkish place but got half the portion size. Very expensive. Considering i could get a lot more many places other than here for the same price. Also theres a lot of friends just chilling in the kitchen. Very hygienic. I say sarcastically

AVOID this place it is awful. Ordered lamb kebab, the naan bread was undercooked, the lamb was fat / gristle and tasted disgusting, the salad topping was crap. Add to this the rude service and no card payments accepted. Had to throw the meal in the bin. AVOID this terrible place. Also no face mask worn by staff.

Really oily food n the lamb shish Adana super salty and oil. The naan or bread goes stiff in seconds like ready made. Price is high for low quality food

I always visit this restaurant when up in brum, the food is so yummy, the rice has an amazing taste. The waiter is so friendly and rememberd what I ordered 2 months prior. Highly recommended for a lunch time meal.

Not nice at all. Expensive for nothing

This review is in relation to the breakfast side. When walked us and asked if we could get breakfast and straight away a fed up man saying there is a wait of 30mins. I thought ok 30 mins isn’t bad. But is wasn’t 30 mins! 2 hours later the food came after being promised another few mins we were fed up and just wanted to eat. Will not be returning ever again. They were not busy inside more bothered about Uber deliveries! Major let down

The food at this place is outstanding, especially the carribean food they now offer too. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the hand dryer in the toilet is always broken and it could be much cleaner and better maintained for a restaurant in the toilets. Also I really think the staff are very friendly but many of them dress inappropriately in hoodies and tracksuits in the kitchen which really takes away from this place. Other than those two points, as I said the food is delicious here! I'd love to see them read this and sort both issues out!

Went down hill so much recently, very Bad customer services, a very rude cashier lady that mean to customers, very unorganised who tried to do everything!!

Well, i had to reach to taste and see. Wow, i loved my curry goat and rice and peas and colslaw. Peppermint tea and sampled some #sexyjuice. You got to reach. I was visiting Birmingham to see friends. I ordered food from this ‘restaurant’, after an hour and half my order hadn’t arrived so I rang to enquire, the man on the other end of the phone was so rude and indecent. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent Turkish food We order the platter for 2 people which has a huge amount of meat, two varieties of rice, salad, bread and sauces. In particular, the lady behind the counter, Kim was very pleasant and kind. She served me with a smile. Great addition to the team

Great food but a bit disappointed with the seating area. The place is floating between a glorified takeaway v could be nice restaurant. Will say again can't fault the food. Well priced and nice staff, just felt like a takeaway with some seats out back.

Fast reliable food good service all ways polite

The food here is great. I love the chops and the ribs. My wife loves the chicken adana. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the wait. Also, if you go at a busy time, say friday evening, they get a bit confused and you have to remind them you are waiting and what you ordered. Lovely people too.

As with most of this area, shops have been stripped to make way for student accommodation. So Rooster Hut (and I believe the coffee shop Rio) have moved from across the street to merge with the Turkish kitchen. I have mixed feelings about this, as the Turkish menu which I loved so much has really gone downhill - the chicken shish seems to have shrunk 50%, and all plates have increased in price whilst decreasing in portion. I don't mind price increases, I know it happens, but what a shame that they couldn't keep the portions consistent. On the other hand, Rooster Hut used to be terrible, catering to drunk students in the wee hours. But since moving in, they have changed their recipe slightly and added some lovely herbs and spices to their coating (at least for the wings, which is my current go-to). Not bad at all for 6@£2. No comment on any other items. Very sad to see the cutting of corners and price/size difference at the Turkish. It is no longer my regular hangout.

The second time we came back its much improved. The place is clean and good value for money. Food arived promptly. Nice waiter. When ordering, stick with Turkish menu, they taste delicious. Avoid takeaways like fish and chips or fried chicken.

Rooster which was opposite is now in Turkish kitchen. It's confusing. We ended up getting food from the rooster menu but it wasn't as good as the original place. The chips were dry and had an odd after taste. A rethink needed.

I just planned to buy some quick take away... then the food made me suprised! I tried lamb chop bbq... with nice salad, spicy rice and bread... it gave me very large but so delicious dinner... The service was really good and staff are friendly! I will back for a proper meal again!

When first entering the establishment an amount of me being unsure was prefelent although after receiving some food my opinion changed very quickly. The people at the shop were so friendly and welcoming. The meal was gorgeous and I would recommend this place to anybody

My favourite local for Turkish food. Food is freshly grilled, and plates offer a balanced meal with a choice of rice, 'spicy rice' (which is more like barley/grain rather than rice) or chips, and a side salad. Highly recommended. My go-to is the lamb adana (minced lamb) and the chicken wings. Wraps are also really good value! Don't treat this place like your local fast food stop - if you want fried chicken, fish and chips, or late night unhealthy food, you might be disappointed.

Great service at the counter, with a great smile, and hearty, halal compatible meals. I had a shwarma which was shredded lamb meat, with a nice rice, a bit of salad, and option to have chips instead of the rice. I would say that the meat on my shwarma, could have been slightly more meaty/less gristly, but I've had their chops and burgers here before, and had no complaints​. Also the chicken is usually pretty good too. Apart from that, it's a clean place with good, consistent service, so i will probably be back 🙂

Stopped off on the way into Birmingham centre and what a good choice. We chose one lamb shawarma and one lamb kebab, both served with rice, a full and fresh salad and great bread. Ayran was a pound was a good accompaniment. Staff were friendly...

Food was ok, nothing too rave about.. Had the mix shawarma/rice/bread, was very dry but edible. They could do with a change of front house, they had young kids working at the front and customers service could be better. Also seating area was cold,should have worn my coat.

Great place for picking up a quick lamb or chicken wrap. Really well cooked and flavoured meat, very tasty authentic bread too. Will be returning!

Decent fast food, good place for a quick bite, they have fish & chips too.

We popped in on a spur of the moment decision following a trip home from Cadbury's World. The food is simply amazing. Their burgers are hand made and taste divine. My daughter had the lamb shawarma wrap meal which was also fantastically presented and very tasty. We also ordered a platter for 2 which we struggled to finish, as the portion was immense. All in all a great meal, we may even be making the 12 mile trip here once a month as the food was very good value for money.
