Zaika catered for 12 people for my birthday at home (take away for delivery). The food was very good, the flavours distinct, the quantity was plentiful and it all arrived on time. I felt the food was very good value and the delivery well organized. Thank you.

Just been this evening with an Indian friend. The staff were not friendly, they made her feel bad and embarrassed and therefore me too. Suggested she should not drink k er glass of wine. Will not be going again, never had to experience this kind of racism before and feel so sad that anyone has to put up with this

I highly recommend the Lamb Dansak. Excellent and friendly service. I've ordered delivery in the past and it arrived promptly. I cannot fault Zaika.

The food is super spicy. When we ordered food we didnt mention to add extra chillie. It was so so spicy that my whole family couldn't eat it. Even the naans were so thick.

Ordering via telephone is a bit tricky but the food here is fantastic, especially the kata mitta, which is probably the tastiest curry I've ever eaten. The starters have been a bit hit and miss (sometimes overdone to the point of charred), but the mains and side dishes are always delicious and not especially greasy. You can often find deals via their website, so it's even a relatively inexpensive takeaway.

First time we went we were given raw chicken when i went back told the manager he knew it was raw and offered us alternatives but we didn’t wanna wait again so cancelled. Second time we went we thought lets give it a second try this time the food wasnt so bad neither great however the staff kept looking at us and asking if the food was okay this time which was really uncomfortable...

Nice food - we are veggie / vegan, so had 4 starters, rice and pratha, waiting staff could be more engaging, there was nothing wrong with their service but we popped in early and the only people in the restaurant, ie they weren't busy but not generally chatty. Also placed on a table for two, when every other table was empty.

Currently in restaurant. We got here at 730pm and it's now 910pm. I'm starving. They took our order ages ago too. We came yesterday and had a completely different experience hence why we returned. Yes, the food was good but the service is dire and unfriendly.

I have the unfortunate joy of living behind this restaurant in a muse. I have been to see them, called the council tried everything. Their waste disposal is in our muse, it is unbelievable! The stench alone of the waste food is unacceptable. Their wheelie bin overflows with containers of used disgusting oil. This has brought rats and maggots! Nobody should have to live with this...... They just don't care about any standards, cleanliness is the least of their concerns. Enjoy your meals.

Absolutely vile unclean place wouldn’t eat there if you paid me

I ate there on my own which i rarely do but my wife can't eat Indian food. Asked for a curry of my choice and they kindly obliged and the food was very good. I attempted to chat with staff and it was hard going. They just don't seem too happy.

Food was great but service is terrible. They even had an argument with each other right in front of us eating. Quite rude to be honest

Came in on a friday night. Wish i had read the reviews. Food was decent but the staff were horrible. Rude. Pushy and even started arguing with each other as we were paying bill. It made the experience really really bad. Worst place in teddington to eat and dine in. Much better service and food at bengal tiger and prem. and they treat customers much better. Really disappointing and overpriced. Borderline rude wait staff

Recent reviews are pretty accurate ... we popped in on. Monday evening. Only one other table sat at. So, not exactly busy. No welcome ... which kinda set the scene service wise. Short, (almost) rude, certainly no smiles. However, food was really good, a pleasant surprise. Decor/ambiance really nice. Maybe next time, we will catch them on a better day ??

Unfriendly service when ordering a takeaway, wasn't offered a drink while I was waiting. The food was awful, tiny prawns, burnt flavour, Korma sickly sweet, lamb dark and overcooked..expensive for the quality. Has this place changed hands? it was empty, should have gone elsewhere and gone with gut instinct.

I'm vegetarian so I ordered vegetarian samosas. The restaurant was empty, but we still waited nearly 20 minutes for the food. When the samosas arrive I take a bite and the aftertaste was very strange for me and we realised that was lamb.for someone who hasn't eaten any meat for 11 years it's an issue. I called the waiter and we asked , "sorry what samosa are these? Are they the vegetarian we ordered" ? He looked, and said "No these are lamb" . And literally walked off to his mate. We had to call him back to say that this was totally out of order and that at least he cold have apologised. In response he sent veggie samosas which I didn't want by that point. And, THEY CHARGED US FOR THEM. Never ever ever returning again. The most terrible service ever.

Food is generally good but service is average at best, normally brusque - I'm not sure I've seen any of the staff smile. Even basic things like popadums are expensive. There's a much better cuzza house over the road (Prem).

Where do I start, firstly the food was good, good portions, well spiced and flavoured. However, the service at this restaurant is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Two guys running front of house and service on a busy Thursday evening, with zero manners and customer service was nonexistent. I decided to not give service charge, which is very rare and practically had my card thrown at me after I’d paid and it was apparent I wasn’t coughing up a tip It’s a shame because the food was good, but I will not be returning.

Can't really comment about the food as I haven't tried it. Ordered take away via deliveroo so it's technically a delivery mistake. Not only the food arrived one hour later (and I had to chase it) ,but also they gave me the wrong order. I would advise the manager to check the take away orders before giving them to the delivery driver. It doesn't take that much!!

They kept hanging up on me when I called about my order!!!! Bizarre!!

Eating in, wasn't that impressive. The food was fine but we had a group of 7 and kept being given beers we hadn't ordered, and when we pointed this out the server just walked off. Got to the end and paid, on Thursday Banquet night where last course is dessert, and they just said there was no dessert or coffee left, and just ignored us until we left (yes, it was around 11 so I'm sure they wanted us gone, but just not ok to ignore the last course with no explanation). Good sized portions, but ended up 28 quid per person cause of the drinks and crazy expensive poppadoms (17 quid for 12!) so sadly I'd caution you away. Shame.

If you have hours to waste come here...slowest service.. Came in... Ordered starter and main. An hour later no.main...starter was cleared away 30 minutes ago!

Did not try the buffet but went for the a la cart menu. The lamb parhia Baltic which was recommended to me was delicious as was the Hasina lamb which my husband ordered. Staff very helpful in offering advice.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I had ordered food and paid on their website for collection. When time to collect, the restaurant manager said I had ordered from a different location, said they don't take orders online and that it was my mistake. As I had already paid online, I didn't accept this and managed to check the details on their website with the restaurant menu and everything matched up. At this point he said I was rude and wanted me out of his shop. I managed to convince him to show me his point-of-sale system and there it was... a "web order" flashing. Obviously he had failed to put through my order and when he realised the mistake, he didn't even apologise. He didn't even offer any compensation. Instead, he told me to wait 20 minutes for the kitchen to start on my order. I refused and told him to give me a full refund and I will never eat from this establishment. Worst customer service. Never have I been talked to so rudely and so arrogant in my life.
