Planet pizza in Richmond upon Thames

I have been a regular customer for years, unfortunately the last visit was a real disappointment. The staff quote rude and unprofessional plus food very poor quality and tastes. They couldn't even make a Cesar Salad! The dressing on my salad was absolutely disgusting. It looked and tasted like poor quality ready made salad cream from a supermarket. Pizza - average, it used to be much better and tiramisu also disgusting and tasteless. I won't be back there, definitely not to this brunch.

Disappointing on portion sizes - we left the restaurant wondering if in fact we were still hungry. I hadn't eaten at a Pizza Express for at least a decade and convinced my husband we should give it a whirl. I used to enjoy it and wanted to try it again - this was an itch I needed to scratch. I ordered what I thought was a Buddha Bowl. This dish has found its way onto many menus now and is usually a nourishing, satisfying and filling collection of nuts, pulses, grains and colourful veg. Sadly, I got what felt like a half portion buddha bowl. There was plenty of mindful chewing going on to make sure I was aware of every morsel! On more careful reading the menu does have the Buddha Bowl in the Salad section with a calorie estimate beside it so perhaps I should have expected it to be light on substance. On the other hand, salads can be satisfying, nourishing, delicious and filling - choosing to eat salad ought not to leave one hungry. My husband's pizza was lightly cooked, which I accept some people prefer, but when a lightly cooked pizza is served onto a cold ceramic plate it starts to cool very quickly. The pizza did not feel hot when it arrived at our table. There is no mention of pizza size on the menu - or none we could see. Had we known the standard pizza size was so small we would have ordered a larger size. As I said up top we left the restaurant wondering if we were still hungry and discussing what we had at home to fill the gap. A disappointing experience - but that itch has been well and truly scratched!

Ordered on Just Eat at 11pm and delivery was at 11.50pm I honestly think that they prepared the pizza and garlic bread and chicken wings just after 11pm and left it on the side until the delivery driver picked it up, we are literally 7 minutes away from the store by car so had the pizza etc been cooked nearer the time of being delivered then the food would of still been hot or at least warm but everything was stone cold I paid for extra cheese and it is blatantly clear that they didn’t add any extra cheese whatsoever, the pizza was so dry and I don’t think they even put any sauce on the base either, it was bone dry and stone cold The garlic bread was also stone cold and soggy, clearly had been cooked earlier and left to sweat in the bag Chicken wings were also stone cold This is highly unacceptable, people pay good money to you and we should expect a good standard of service and food which TW2 pizza clearly didn’t deliver And please, don’t you dare come back to me with a comment calling me a liar like you have done previously with someone else because I am always honest with my reviews Don’t know why I am unable to share a picture of the bone dry pizza and soggy garlic bread as evidence, google needs to make it possible to share a photo In response to your comment to me on Just Eat On Just Eat if you give 1 star they don’t usually post the review so hence the 1 star on here and 2 on Just Eat, either way they are low so shouldn’t really matter If you read my comment on here correctly you will notice that I said that it appears that once you received my order that you prepared my order ( lets just say 11.05 maybe 11.10pm ) and that my order was probably cooked and then just left on the side until the delivery driver picked it up ( I am well aware that you yourselves deliver and not Just Eat but is it possible that your delivery driver had been out on another delivery or your driver delivered 2 orders with the other person’s pizza delivered before mine? ) As stated, I am literally 7 minutes by car from where you are to where I am and in no way would our food of been as so cold as it was had it of been delivered to us straight after it was cooked, so therefore was it prepared well in advance and left sitting before being delivered or did your delivery driver do 2 drops, 1 to someone else before me? I am well aware that it takes time to cook the food as most pizza delivery places usually state a waiting time of 45 minutes So I am not contradicting the situation at all I do have a photo of the pizza you sent me and it clearly shows that there was no sauce on the base and no extra cheese that I actually paid for but as google won’t allow me to share the photo and Just Eat doesn’t allow photos then I am not sure how to prove it to you I will call your restaurant when it opens and explain it to you again just in case you do not see my edit

Excellent price for what it was. Fairly good pizza too.

A classic restaurant. Always know what you going to get. Big fan of the new Large classic pizzas.
