Wow, delicious, amazing food there! We went yesterday and decided to come back today. We took the family platter, it's giant but so tasty. The rice with spices, everything goes so well together. A must in Brighton

Had lunch here during my visit to Brighton. Ordered the kabuli pilau - the portion was okay for two and it tasted good.

The food was exceptional! Some of the best I’ve had in Brighton. Their kabuli lamb pulao and shawarma naan were both delicious. But the Pulao really won it for me. Highly recommended, specially if you are visiting Brighton.

Had chicken shawarma, chicken shish and the naan bread. The food, vibe, service, price everything was 10/10. Will make sure to come again when I visit brighton.

Been here a few times and the food is authentic and the service is good. They cook on the coals in open kitchen and always impressed with the food I have eaten here Also I have seen families have the platter LOOKS AMAZING VALUE

We were a large group. The food was cooked to perfection. We ordered Qabili Pulao, Lamb Kofte, Chicken shish kebab platter and wraps. The lamb was cooked to perfection being so soft and delicious. Tender and freshly cooked. Its cooked and prepared in authentic traditioinal methods full of flavour and taste. The food is great value for money. The staff is very friendly and kind. Very patient and accomodating. I would highly recommend for everyone looking to try some great tasting food. All the dishes are halaal.

Absolute disappointment. I drove 10 miles to get kabuli plao and was really hungry and excited. I never had kabuli plao served in the way like this one, the way it was prepared, taste nothing like afghan food for £16.99

Having a day out in Brighton. What a great find this place was! The food was delicious, the staff helpful and friendly and the premises were clean and well looked after . Highly recommended

Saw the good reviews so went and order a few mixed kebabs. Got home and it was a very sparce offering in all of them. What few chips we got weren't cooked properly. Meat was small. No bread. Very poor not worth the money.

Qabili Palaw was brilliant. The lamb was cooked to perfection so the meat could be had off the bone with just a fork! The staff were very friendly too.

Terrible customer service. We weren’t greeted as we entered and were refused a table for four. They explained it there were only two of us, so we couldn’t sit at the four seater, however there were two other couples there in pairs and they were at tables for four too, so this made no sense. With how unwelcome they made us feel and the unfair treatment we decided to leave and eat elsewhere.

By far the best in Brighton. Super service, so friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean and the grill is always as fresh as can be. I highly recommend the family platter as its fantastic value it easily feeds mine. The flat bread is out of this world too.

Our first visit to Brighton and had lunch here. Owner is very friendly and the food, oh sooo good!!! Tried the lamb chops and chicken wings, had to order another round because it was theat delicious! Tried the naan as well, soft and good. Highly recommended

Love the place even though it’s not spacious. Very delicious food. We enjoyed Qabili palaw with lamb shank. It was super delicious. Perfect place for grill. One of the best Afghani restaurant. Kids friendly and the staff was very friendly and kind. Love to visit again

Love this place. The chicken shish wrap to take away is very filling, has good quality ingredients and the marinade/sauce is perfect. Have also eaten in and had the mixed grill platter before. As above, nicely marinaded meat, sauces complement well and serving size is generous. Happy to recommend.

Came to Brighton for work purposes and stayed in Ibis Hotel overnight. Before sleeping, I searched halal food places close to me and up came Zafron at the top. The Hummus was the best I’ve had, and I come from Birmingham with lots of places serving it. The Afghan Palau was brilliant. Importantly, the waitress who served me, I believe Hala is her name, provided excellent customer service and was very conversational. It made me feel welcome in a city I’ve never been to before, I wish her and the owners well. - Mohammed

The best kebabs in England, fresh and full of flavour and not only kebabs, also lamb shanks, falafel, curries too, all served with fresh salads and rice (2 sorts) or chips, fresh naan baked in view of you as you site and soak up the atmosphere. Truly a delight and well worth a visit, even if it's for a cup of tea.

I’m from London but travelled twice to Brighton just for Zafron. The best Afghan food I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend the Qabili Palaw the meat is sooooo tender and juicy and the portion is very filling. Looking forward for when they open a branch in London.

Flatter was best & food is delicious and tasty 👌👌but is expensive and have very small amount of rice in it with no pitta bread or Naan in it . Please increase the quantity of rice a bit more and include pita bread or Naan in flatter.

Delicious food, very well served dishes, and the guys who work there are all very polite! The puff pastry stuffed with pistachios is out of this world...hehehe! Fair price by British standards! We love the complimentary tea!

Great food and great place. We tried qabili palaw and chelo kebab koobedeh. They were both really tasty and the staff is very kind and friendly.

We came in and the staff were super nice and they delivered us our orders straight away. The food was really delicious and they even let us take a special request as well as giving my child free sweets. The atmosphere is super nice with soothing music playing in the background. A must go when visiting Brighton!

Delicious food, Afghan kebab in the homemade naan bred was outstanding, so smoky and rich in flavours without too many spices overtaking the flavour of the meet. Great prices for the quality of the dishes. I’ve also grandly appreciated the service as the gentlemen at the counter was very kind and patient to explain the difference between the meats/dishes and recommend the right one thoughtfully, definetly more than what you would expect in a place selling kebabs/shawarma. If you’re around Brighton check it out it’s worth it :)
