new menu is good, the peri peri chicken is very nice, still no way comparable to the star of the show with is there southern fried chicken. keep it up

Place was clean and staff were friendly. The food was fresh, would recommend to my friends and family.

Absolute terrible service from start to finish. Ordered a large pizza and fries. Guy took the order and address no postcode. He never took my contact number. He said food will be 40 mins. 1 hour later no food now almost two hours later. I call him and he says of the driver tried calling you with food. Lies… how can you call a customer that you took no contact number from. To make things even worse food came three hours later cold hard disgusting pizza looked like Kilimanjaro hard as anything. Called the guy who I placed the order with again he was like yes yes yes. Not heard any word I had said. So pissed off that I am actually lost for words. This place is a hell hole. Never again please avoid. Caspians is the way to go or Pizza Hut.

I ordered a pizza and what I got was a naan bread with cheese and a few toppings, there was no tomato base at all so there was no flavour to the pizza. Sick and tired of pizza joints that put little to no pizza sauce on the base. Won't be visiting again. I can't believe standards have dropped so much!

Ordered the mix Donner on naan for home delivery and this was a mistake, one naan burnt other are uncooked like wet flour, ended up filling the bin, ofcourse restaurant never believed when phoned them.

Ordered and paid on the website and waited for delivery time which should have been 45 mins. Time came and went so call restaurant 1 hour after ordered to be told to call back as they were busy. Had to call twice more to be told its on its way. Food arrived 2 hours after ordered fish under cooked and fries soggy.

I had two sheesh kebabs on nan, and 1 breast and fries along with a coke can. And for some odd reason he calculated the total to £7.80, I paid it and come home with the food and realised his ripped me of. It's not much but it's about the principle and how many other customers do they ripp off daily? If they wanted a extra pound as a tip they should have asked and I would have given it. But if it wasn't for them ripping me of I would have left 5 stars as the food was very fresh, delicious and well cooked. Even the online price with a 10% discount is cheaper then £7.80.

Well done to zaffs on their recently revamped recipe for the shish kebab in naan bread.......the kebabs were soft and fluffy as though they had yeast added like they do in baking bread ...was impressed....the only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 star rating is because the salad does not have tomato's or red / Spanish onions and lettuce included in the salad......but otherwise try their lamb kebabs asap before they revert back to another/different recipe...

Me and my sister had a late dinner ordered 3 things one of which didn’t turn up, we then phoned to find out where it was and we got told to phone justeat to get a refundand so that is what we done and then got told that they said they wont offer a refund we had to wait for it to arrive even though when we phoned we got told it was last delivery we then got told to wait for 2 minutes and it would be here and we waited another 15 minutes for the driver to have a poor attitude and we got given a burnt dessert which went cold must be from being kept in the car disgusting, never going back!!! Do not recommend even man on the phone was rude about it! POOR quality

What can I say? The moment I entered this delectable eatery I was left utterly bewildered and entranced by the delicate, ethereal scents emanating from the kitchen. I knew that from that first moment that I discovered the palace that is this foodie wonderland, that Zaff's would be the Holy Grail from which I would sup for the rest of my life. I simply cannot fathom a world in which Zaff's ceases to exist; a world where the succulent, delicately seasoned (with angel dust, I am certain.) deep fried chicken thigh caresses your taste buds, ever-so gently, before exploding within you, releasing endorphins comparable only to the most sensuous experiences a person not of this world could possibly fathom. Zaff's, you have my heart. Forever.

in the 90s this place was buzzing and offered amazing veggie burgers, chip kebabs and loads of salad, interesting dishes, great vibe etc. even a few years ago they still did some decent food now it's just the same old rubbish - fried chicken, pizzas, kebabs... nothing special on the menu at all service not impressive either big thumbs down, sorry plenty of other places to go down the Moseley Rd

zaffs always has good chip shop food and tasty pizza's in many varieties. it usually stays open till very late. deco is modern & spacious.

I had had no breakfast and spent most of the late morning and early afternoon looking for a new 27inch tyre for my bicycle. Eventually found in Ladypool Cycles. I asked if anywhere decent to have a snack and was recommended this place on the Moseley Road opposite LIDL. The entrance was being thoroughly cleaned (no harsh bleach smell thank goodness) and I saw an extensive menu of fried chicken and options, other tempting food too. I don't normally do fried chicken but the reviews here on TA were encouraging. The owner seemed friendly and sorted food quickly whilst I washed my dirty hands (from messing about with old tyre) in the convenient corner sink. I ordered sit down. There was a friendly Asian family enjoying pizza and a few other people. The condiments were available, a white Mayo, spicy tomato sauce. Great prices chicken thigh and fries at £1.90. Lots of fries, fine and well crispy. See images posted. Just what I needed to see me through the rest of the afternoon till I got eventually to Bartley Green!

Always serves good food, friendly staff and clean place. been eating here for years and always enjoyed it. Food is good

Food is always and it is made fast and Is pretty nice nothing incredible and amazing but still nice for a snack. It is pretty clean inside too.

As the title says for the amount you say you get fast food that hits the spot when u need to feel full and fat.

I have eating at Zaffs for many years and even with the recent change of hands and renovation which it needed, the Southern Fried Chiecken are still the best here.
