Tasty, good idea with taster sized dishes

Quick delivery and food was piping hot. The quality of the food was excellent. My new favourite!!

Waited till half eleven last night, didn't even bother to ring or turn up with the food!

been eating from here for ages food is bang on .just tryed to order fella on phones english was terrible kept saying 4 when im saying 5 for my address then im reading me card details and hes putting em in wrong then says sorry not gone threw.wont be using them again ever

Took over an hour to arrive. Portions have shrunk beyond belief and didn't even come near to filling an average dinner plate. No receipt with the meal delivery and fobbed off with excuses when phoned and asked for one. Food is bland and tasteless. Regular patron to this establishment but never again.

Ordered at 10:10pm, arrived at 11:45pm. Called restaurant to ask where the food was and all I got was rudeness telling me that they don’t deliver at that time, then told me the driver was 5 minutes away. 30 mins later he turns up.

one dish was wrong when I phoned they sent me the dish out within 15 mins and we could keep the one we hadn’t ordered and was given some popadoms too, the food was excellent and will definitely order again

Food was delicious and hot when it arrived which we thought was excellent. Although it was late it was a huge order however they could have called to let us know. There was a lot of sauce and not much meat in a couple of the dishes but on the whole we all really enjoyed it and would definitely order again. Maybe not all in one go!

Loved the complimentary vegetable dish. Good to look after customers like that. It’s what will make me come back again. I also loved that I could order a taster dish. What a fantastic idea.

food arrived in great time and was superb. best in wickford, no doubt. the taster portions are fantastic allowing for larger selection of dishes. a+++

food was piping hot which is always good although it had a strong taste of garlic and was full of black seed looking things, didn’t so much enjoy it unfortunately.

Great food nice and hot too, had to call after they added 20 mins on to delivery time and it still wasn’t there.

I was sent the wrong thing and when I phoned up I wasn’t apologised to or told they would get me what I ordered ASAP, instead I was asked if they bought me my food would I give them the wrong curry back. I found this quite concerning that this curry had been in my house and that they may then try to serve it to another customer. Would not order from here again.

We ordered a takeaway for 4 of us while on a Christmas home visit back to Wickford, I love spicy food and ordered myself a king prawn vindaloo, I travel a lot and have always ordered the spiciest thing on the menu and this still blew my head off, Absolutely delicious! We got everything; korma, bhuna , vindaloo... Everything was delicious and we even got some free chocolates and a card because it was Christmas. We did get two rice when we ordered one and the bombay potatoes were missing but as is normally the way with a takeway we ordered so much it didn't even matter. Highly recommended!! 😀😀

Was a very oily and disappointing meal. Was starving so ate what I could binned half of it. Onion bhaji was awful like an oil tasting sponge not crispy as it should be.

We barely had any chicken in our tikka masala, which was very disappointing, plus sauce was a bit too runny. Apart from that all was tasty.

dont usually order from here but was happy with the order. delivery time was as stated. love the curry sauces as im not the biggest lover of meat in curry. chicken chat was lovely. mushroom baji could have had more flavour but i dont think all the bad reveiws give this place justice

If you love Indian food then please do not waist your time with zaffron. 2 hours we had to wait for our order and when it eventually turns up something had spilt all over the bag but unfortunately that was just the start. The chicken was tasteless the naan bread was cold the potatoes were over cooked and the papadoms were stale so please if you are an Indian food love do not order from here

Enjoyed our first try from here. Like the tester size curries. They were ample giving you the opportunity to try something different or if you can't make up your mind a variety. I would order from here again. Thank you :)

I've ordered Dansak from many restaurants and yes it varies but always nice, this was far from the quality of others. It was watery, over spiced and lacking in chicken, I counted five small chunks in the whole thing and there were hardly any lentils in the dish. The korma sauce was also watery and the naan's were dry. To top it off, it was over 20 mins late. The driver did apologise for the delay and I did tip him, however, the food was poor and I'll order from elsewhere in future.

we ordered at 7:00pm was given a delivery time of 8:00pm that then got changed to 8:20pm the food finally arrived at 8:46pm. totally ridiculous, the food actually isn't bad but the waiting time is a joke., no wonder they give a 20% discount to try and get customers back. all I can say is go elsewhere just as good food and no 2hour wait!.

Always normally use the same Wickford Indian takeaway but it was gradually declining...... Tried this tonight and it was so fantastic and flavoursome!!!!! A* for the food....... Was beautiful xxxx

Ordered food for 8.30 showed up 15 mins late after driver called to say he was here when he was at wrong address over 5 mins away. Food wasn't a hot. No flavour. Wouldn't order from there again. Phoned up and the person on phone said hold on a min I'm busy and left me on phone for 5 mins whilst chatting to someone else. Wouldn't recommend
