Yummy Kebab in Brighton and Hove

we've ordered from Yummy Kebab on many occasions, food being later than said on a few occasions but recently being late nearly everything by at least 45 minutes. The food is great for the price you pay just a shame how late it arrives

Use this place quite a lot but tonight was the worse, over half hour late & food was only a tad warm, never had a issue like this before with this place.

Honestly the worst place, ordered food at 6:30pm and the guy on the phone says we are busy it’ll take another 30 minutes (understandable), i watched the whole arsenal game and i checked the time nearly 9:00pm i called them back and he said 10 minutes so i waited 20-30 minutes and called them back and they’ve blocked our numbers and blatantly lied to us about our order. Its now nearly 10:00pm lol

Any 2 Mix Kebab should come with extra bread. Chips portion size was very small.

advertising that they do buy one yet one free on pizza but refuse to send the second pizza after they don't deliver both. they used to be a really good cheap and cheerful option but after this service today I won't ever be buying from them again. rude staff on the phone and cold food on arrival.

food was lovely. Pizza and garlic sauce was delicious! enjoyed it all and there was an offer on, so I got lots of food for a good price. thanks

It was really nice but would be too expensive if there wasn’t an offer. £6.60 for cheesy chips and £4.50 for a 1.5l bottle is very steep.

Worth the wait best chicken Kebab ever

Food came 40 minutes late, pizza was barely cooked and chicken strips were so dry they were inedible

Waited an hour 20 mins from time of order, Each time I called I got a diff excuse first it was waiting 2 mins for chicken to cook then 20 mins later they said again they waiting 2 mins for chicken to cook, then said it was driver was stuck in traffic, can I add that I live 15 doors up from the place (and no I’m disabled so couldn’t collect) so driver issues shouldn’t be issue as when delivered the man walked up like they usually do!! Then lied on this app about delivery time saying on time ;(

I had the chicken doner burger and such good value for money £5.99 for the meal deal and big chunks of the doner meat and a decent portion of chips and a Tango.. would highly recommend the garlic chilli Mayo it’s insane

The chicken was tasteless, just tasted like oil, chicken wings were over cooked like they were fried twice. Ordered on a Sunday evening, nothing tasted fresh.

DO NOT ORDER if you are only getting single items! my order arrived cold and incorrect, I rang the restaurant to be told 'sorry sir but because you only ordered one item of course it will arrive cold' best excuse I ever heard. they also forgot the salad on the kebab. Maybe they should add to the description 'please order more than one item otherwise if course it will be cold' Shame as doner meat was quite nice and they were generous with the extra chillies. Just Eat have issued a part refund.

Food took 1 hour and 55 minutes to be delivered, the pizza was stone cold, the doner kebab meat was cold too; anaemic, white colour in parts. garlic cheese bread was dry and small and cold, the only warm thing was the can of coke. I requested a partial refund on just eat app as it was so late, the restaurant replied saying no. Sorry, but I won't order from here ever again. how these food establishments manage to stay open is beyond me. overall experience 0.0 out of 10.

quite possibly possibly worst kebab in Brighton and smallest/expensive large fries. £5.11 for a small bag of fries. be warned, the chilli sauce is more like a jelly than a sauce and not hot at all. ordered a chicken donner and while I got chicken, the soggy chicken skin was unexpected. chicken tasted gelatinous. order arrived early and was hot but won't order again.

Luke warm chips with freezing cold rock hard grated cheese that hadn’t even melted.. didn’t expect to have to heat up my food from a takeaway

What this place lacks aesthetically it really makes up for in menu! It is very shabby and in need of a makeover. The burgers are soooo nice and the chips are really good too, not your usual skinny offerings but real potato! Family run business and lovely customer service. Have not experienced any problems with delivery.

Just ordered from this place spent 40 pounds on food for 4 of us... the hole lot turnt up cold certainly won't be ordering from here again... they should be ashamed of themselves... can't even get orders right either you ask for salad and get nothing you try ringing them you get nothing it's like there phone lines have been cut off

Ordered deep pan and got thin crust

I left instructions of where to go and that I live up some stairs and where my front door was.. Driver made me walk all the way out and didn't even get out of his car. Just rolled down the window. Don't charge for delivery if you are not going to provide a good delivery service.

Unfortunately over the past 6 months this place has gone down hill. The portions of chips are now much smaller and always overcooked. The burger buns are always over done. The Ketchup now tastes like a horrible jelly! The flavour of meats isn't as good... It's such a shame as this has been our go to place for years, tonight's order was the same, so we'll be looking elsewhere in the future.

I have no problem with Yummy Kebab, use them all the time and love their food. However, I was given a voucher to use and according to Just Eat Yummy Kebab cancelled the voucher so that I couldn’t use it.

The sause was like water my delivery was late the worse ever

I have always been happy with the food but they stopped the stamp scheme just as I was 1 away from a discounted meal hence the bad review for sneaky behaviour.

After a mix up with delivery the owner was brilliant and brought us a fresh order straight away. Great service
