Leaving a review for the first time because I usually order a footlong once a week and for the past month every single sandwich I’ve received has been basically empty. In the past my sandwiches have always been full to the brim with whatever meat I’ve chosen, now I feel like I’m just eating bread. I don’t know who has been making these sandwiches but they’re awful, selfish, stingy and shouldn't even be working there. I’ve had enough, it’s disgusting and the staff are USELESS I’ve called a million times on different occasions and not once have they picked up. The staff should be ashamed.

This is the first time I’ve done a review and it will be the last, so you can imagine how poor this must have been for me to comment on it. My group had done a £70 order for 2 big breakwich’s meatballs, drinks the lot. Almost everything was there, cold. They completely missed a footlong out of the order, and then in attempts to call them to notify them on there error they do not answer the phone. I’ve called 5 times over a 2 hour window not a single comment on the order. So I’ve been left with no food this morning, and £12 has just vanished. And a previous order we had from there, food spilled all out in the bag, and the food is consistently cold. I will never be ordering from here again. And I strongly recommend no one else does. It’s a shame because the food is actually good if the service wasn’t so poor.

Worst possible customer service!!! Never give them your custom. Blag their way through life cos everyone expects a level of service from Subways- they should be stripped of their franchise. Order kept getting pushed back, couldn’t cancel and now has just not arrived! They’ve in essence stolen £30. No opportunity to talk to a person to resolve it cos they don’t answer the phone. They’re jokers, thieves and degenerates !!! Ruined what was supposed to be a treat and kept my daughter hungry for ages… furious doesn’t cover it!

Food was as expected but the person behind the jump sat around on his phone when tables needed clearing and wiped down. You may not be busy but you should always look busy. If they're lazy in one way they maybe lazy in another (where it matters). In my kitchen this wouldn't stand.

Booked in very last minute to eat at this restaurant. Found it quite hard to find as even the Brighton taxi drivers didn't know where it was (it is technically round the corner from Clyde Road). Meal was a set price for a 2 course or 3 course meal. We chose 2 course as was on a budget for our weekend stay. Our host was very nice and very friendly. He asked us for drinks and must have mis-heard my boyfriend ask for a glass of Pinot Grigio rather than a bottle. I didn't want wine at first but just went a long with it. Throughout the night our glasses were being topped up and I presumed our host was being generous but it turns out we had been charged for a bottle. The set meal for the evening had a good choice of food. We chose to have a Main and a Dessert. I chose the Veal meal and my partner chose the Lasagne. He loved the Lasagne. My veal was nice but would have been worth the money with a better side rather than peppers and capers. For dessert we both ordered the canaloni style dessert which was lovely but quite messy to eat. Our host also gave us a small slice of Tiramisu as he "couldn't resist". The evening was very enjoyable - it was a very very small restaurant with around five tables seating around twelve people in total. It had a very Mediterranean feel to it and I actually felt like I was in Italy. Our only shock was receiving the bill which was around £20 what I expected to pay - something quite hard for a couple on a low budget for the weekend. We were not aware we had to pay an £8+ service charge and I was disappointed we weren't told when booking.

Kieran during the late night /early morning shift on a Friday night/Saturday morning was delightful. Subway should employ more Kieran's for the day shifts, compared to the normal miserable incoherent staff members rallied together for the day. Night shift Kieran is an honest friendly subway representative that made me happy about buying a sandwich.

Store seemed clean and presentable. However as I proceeded to enter I noticed two members of staff sitting down and one of them who served decided to stop eating where sitting and licked his fingers before slapping on a cheap glove. Friendly guy but was very off putting as u don't want saliva subways. My partner was adamant he had washed hands but I didn't clock that part. Store very quiet and bread wasn't the greatest after being heated up. I prefer the Shoreham branch to here, except tonight Shoreham ran out of bread..

I will always rate this as my favourite Subway in local area, staff are always great, Inga who works here as sandwich artist Is always very helpful and always smiling, despite being obviously overworked, why management allow one person to work on their own in an obviously busy time, is amazing, food quality always good, always asked what I would Like, I love Subway because it is my choice what ingredients are put in my sandwich, keep up the good work, but bosses, give you staff some help, THEY make this Subway stand out.

So where do we begin, we waited for 20 minutes to be acknowledged at the front door. Then once losing our patiecence of not being acknowledged along with the rest of the queue…. At least 5 separate parties… to be told we have to wait for an other hour for any service at all, even though everyone in the queue had a reservation… we all had bookings… this is mad…. Why is hove pizza express so troubled that they can’t serve the customers who are actually booked…. We were told understaffed however the UBer and deliveroo queue was clearly being served. So obviously we walked out… the people in front walked out and the people behind walked out, the whole queue had to walk out. What a massive Joke this place is!

We went for a bottomless lunch and it was fun. I wasn’t expecting the food quality to be the best, nor the customer service. The waiting staff were nice although one of them seemed a bit clueless and not that friendly. Tbh the main reason I've given 2 stars is because the guy making the food by the conveyer belt and was so rude. I asked for a dish that I hadn’t seen on the belt but was suppose to be included. So the waitress went to ask him and then he came over and chucked a random dish at us, muttered something then walked off. When he realised it was the wrong dish he said it’ll take 5 mins but proceeded to give us the wrong one again. The miscommunication isn’t the issue for me because it happens and as long as your nice it’s no problem for me. But he was not nice at all. I don’t know why you work in customer service if you seem so bothered for having to interact with customers. We came out to yo sushi having only one day off to receive that attitude towards us for no reason other than asking for a dish. Really strange and uncalled for. There was a lovely girl that chatted to us at the end though so we tipped her personally.
