Tasty pizzas but the olives were tiny and thinly sliced and there were only 3 mushroom slices. I would have preferred more of each of the toppings that were supposed to be there. We ordered two pizzas and one of them was supposed to have a garlic crust and the other one a normal crust, but we couldn't taste the garlic in either of them. But other than these minor points, the pizzas were tasty. I heated the leftovers in an air fryer the next day and it worked well.

Ordered pizza, turned up soaking wet, cold, box seal had been opened and really late. called restaurant to complain who said they would reissue another, which never turned up. called restaurant multiple times with no luck.

Thought i'd try a delivery order despite the bad reviews as I used to be a fan of the pizza. Was very disappointed, my order was 90 minutes late, it was poorly made and not properly cooked, and was pretty sloppy. The food hygiene sticker had also been broken on the box. Pretty poor service from the store when I eventually got through to them, I was offered compensation that never arrived. Try Domino's instead!

Ordered pizza on Saturday at 2140, didn’t arrive until 2335. It took around 10 calls for them to get to me, I’m sorry this is not acceptable. They gave me a freebie Pepsi max as part of the apology but still not happy with the service especially as I have just moved down here for university

was not delivered and shaz from pizza hut was very unhelpful and was not willing to send the food out to me when i have paid for the food and was waiting outside my house for 45 minutes waiting for the food and he would not refund my money to my account so I could order from another food establishment

I’d give ZERO stars if possible- 2 pizzas took 1 hour 45 minutes. I called 8 times- all just rang and ignored. The ‘check update link’ was never updated- said was due to be delivered an hour before it arrived. Then suddenly said ‘delivered enjoy your food’ 15mins before it arrived so we were sat thinking it had gone to a wrong address. Food was cold and soggy, no garlic crust, no sour cream dip. AVOID THIS STORE!

Pizza was burnt. The bbq sauce was open . Potato wedges were dry . Usually food quality and delivery time is fine but not this time.

Be very careful when ordering changes to your pizzas such as lactose free. We placed an order for a staff celebration of 16 pizzas with veg ones and lactose free ones yet they label nothing up and expect you to guess which ones are which. Contacting customer care, there response is, check the pictures on the website. Team members couldn’t get involved due to lactose issue. Also 9 of the 16 pizzas were burnt. After spending close to £200 on pizzas customer care response it a £15 voucher. Avoid. Oh the pizzas were also late and no one picks up the phone.

Worst customer service. Oreded a simple pizza for delivery only for it to take 1 hour and 40 minutes then to be marked as delivered when it was not Tried to call the store no answer I eventually had to drive to the store where I was told the driver is new and did not understand how the delivery service works. Totally unacceptable and not way a business chain such as pizza hut should be run. Avoid at all cost and will not be ordering from thier in the future.

took an hour and 30 mins for delivery. Estimated wait was advertised as at least 30 mins or less. Disappointed by this service.

Placed order at 6. Just eat said it was delivered when it wasn’t, so I called the restaurant. They refused to give any form of compensation after waiting a whole 2 hours stating it’s just eats responsibility. The manager was rude, unhelpful and confrontational. Food turned up cold on top of all that.

Food was dry and boring ordered extra cheese, didn't get that as well as barely any sauce toppings just fell off due to nothing to hold onto ie: cheese/sauce. Staff in own clothes looked like they're on work experience. Might as well have made meat on bread myself utterly dry and undercooked, I normally check the pizza before I leave with it. Normally pizza sensationally average but this was awful, I've given pizza hut enough chances to do better. I'm giving up on pizza hut in general. You've lost your passion to make good food either the company is holding your hands on how much toppings you're allowed to use or you've given up on taking pride in your work.. P.s. £5.95 for 4 skinny pieces of toast half the tops covered in cheese give me a break. So done!!!

Called restaurant after an hour of waiting which was also 15 minutes after the delivery time. Just eat said it was delivered but they said it was in the oven still. Person on the phone was very unhelpful.

Great little shop with some great deals. Girl on counter Trinity was very polite & patient while I looked at the menu and looked at deals for me.

I was served by Trinity in store today, she was an absolute delight! So lovely and polite! Despite having an issue with a leak and being on her own the service was immaculate and food was very fast! Will definitely be visiting this store again!

Been to this place many times all I have felt is comfort and care from each of the workers every person in there has such a caring and wonderful attitude listens and understands everything that I want. The food is unbelievable no other restaurant I’ve been to does a pizza as good as these guys, the time it takes to be made is so quick I’m in and out within 5 mins and the food is always glass

Really disappointed - ordered two large pizzas, both stuffed crust which was + £3 each pizza, two sides, two desserts, and a drink for £45. We ended up with one pizza (with no £3 stuffed crust), cold and lacklustre sides, and burnt desserts. Dont get me wrong, I don’t expect gourmet food from a Pizza Hut, but for the money im paying I expect all of my food to turn up and be atleast lukewarm. Tried seeing what we could do with our deliveroo driver, but he couldn’t help with anything. We tried ringing the shop, but no one picked up and I think that was probably on purpose. To top it all off, from atleast £20 that should have been given back to us by Deliveroo, we were given £7. I don’t think that can even buy you a side or two from Pizza Hut. Really bitter taste left in my mouth after this, severely dissatisfied is the least I could say.

Food was hot but I ordered 2 extra toppings and they were barely there. My base was soaked in tomato sauce so I had to scrape it off to make it edible. My bottle of fizz and the 2 extra dips I paid for were missing. I could understand if it was a weekend but 7pm on a Tuesday probably isn’t their busiest time. I always used this branch but I will never use Pizza Hut Lewes Road again

Delivery driver was very late, didn't deliver part of our order and was rude when asked about it telling us to just call the restaurant

Brilliant food, fast service, in & out very quickly. They were welcoming when I arrived and quick to get my order to serve to me. The pizza was incredibly tasty, I’ll go back there for sure.

Disgusting dervice and THIEFS. I ordered a Medium pizza with a side last Monday at 3 PM By 4 it had not arrived. I called to ask and they say the driver “got lost and couldnt find the place” (he had my phone, why didnt he called??) They said to call back if I did not got it in 15 min. I didn’t. I called and they apologize saying I can either get it AN HOUR AFTER THAT or get a refund. Asked for a refund, and they did it processes it. Worst, THEY CHARGED THE SERVICE THEY NEVER PROVIDED. If I could give a -2 as grade, I would. Terrible and shameful service. UPDATE - I had to CHASE THEM for the refund. Not sure why, but they took TWO WHOLE DAYS to process it even though they never delivered the product. Irresponsible is too small of a word for this stablishment.

Pizza is good. What you’d expect, just nice greasy food. Definitely get your money’s worth. Service is great too, super friendly staff. Also very fast service. My pizza was ready in under 10 mins.

As someone who uses this Pizza Hut every couple of weeks, I am always so pleased with our food. The quality is great, the price is really reasonable and if you collect you can feed a family of 4 under £20. The service is always great and friendly. I would really recommend collecting your order for the best deal, however when we have had deliveries, the food always arrives hot and any issues are resolved quickly and with great service.

Food was late, when i tried to call the store took me about 20 calls before someone even picked up. When it eventually arrived the driver was extremely rude and unapologetic not to mention that all the boxes had broken seals and the food was cold anyway

Ordered a bundle of 3 pizzas and 2 starters. Food was hot, here fast and made to a standard I'd expect from Pizza Hut. One issue, they forgot a side (wedges). I wasn't going to complain about it cause it felt like a minor thing. While we're eating the door bell rings, they had noticed the mistake on their side and decided to bring the wedges (and it's not that we're next door or something)! I don't think I can remember a delivery service ever bothering to fix a mistake without asking. So great food and exceptional service! Update: have been ordering there a few times since and I have come to believe that some of the reviews here must be fake. Our food has always been fine, no issue with delivery times and they are also easy to reach over the phone. On our last order they had made one pizza with the wrong base, noticed it in time and simply remade it and gave the spare one for free! Good luck finding that level of service elsewhere.

Ordered food that never arrived although marked as delivered. They could not get hold of the driver and had no other driver. They would arrange a refund. I have had to email customer service to get my refund. Since these new people took over the franchise it has gone downhill. It used to be great but now, never again will I order from them.

9 mins after end of estimated 20 minute delivery slot. so 9-29 mins late. pizza box folded as drivers bag/box was too small. what does ‘restaurant service‘ mean? no idea. pizza delivered so i wasn't in there. random middle 3 star given as mandatory field.

Avoid like the plague. Over 30+ calls and not a single answer! Food took well over 3 hours. Turned up cold and burnt. Even missing items from the ‘delivery’. Seriously do not order from here. Save your time and money. Avoid.

If you want a pizza delivered. Definitely don’t order from here. Your food will never arrive, but the delivery driver will claim it’s been delivered. When you call and try to sort it out, they will tell you they will send a replacement out, but that will never arrive either.

I would write a detailed rating but these jokers aren't worth anyone's time. There are plenty of comments for anyone who wants to scroll through them. TERRIBLE and lazy workers. They will repeatedly cancel your order but still charge you. They shouldn't be open, thieves. I gave them another chance... An hour and 20 minutes later on a Tuesday and still no sign of my 2 pizzas. I called and they said the pizza was on out with the driver, that was 20 minutes ago while I write this. Terrible customer service and clearly liars. The staff don't deserve the wage they're freely given, for their lack of competency.

Ordered and after 2hrs it finally arrived. Not a busy time either. Called and said its still out for delivery and then the tracker was turned off. No sense of urgency or service. Possibly to do with staff shortages and they are probably all nice people but the service is atrocious. Horrible service! Ordered pizza and when was delivered a drink was on top of it. Open it up and toppings of a few pieces are stuck to the top. So I have a few pieces without toppings now. Also there are like 4 pieces of chicken on a pizza. And really not tasty!! When I called them back and started telling they just hang up on me!!! Read reviews before ordering - not worth it!

Absolutely the worst takeaway I’ve ever used. Every 6 months or so I lose a grip on my common sense and think it can’t be as bad as I remember. I order again and guess what, it really is as bad as I remember. This time, turned up over an hour late, food was cold, garlic bread looked half eaten, chicken & dips were missing. Rang to complain and they couldn’t have cared any less. Eventually offered a refund but no apology and then hung up on me. It remains to be seen if I get the refund. I’m not holding my breath. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I had to call pizza hut 3 times to be told food was on the way it came nearly 2 hours after i ordered it and then just to make it that bit better it was cold

Food arrived on time but the chap said his receipt didn't show a 1.5L bottle while my order receipt does. This is the third time Pizza Hut have missed on delivery of bottle included within their deal, I'm starting to see a pattern. Rest of the food was good.

Never ever order from there - this branch is absolutely terrible. The staff know that pizzas take 2-3 hours to be delivered, and don't care. They purposefully never answer the phone. Their pizzas are still promised, when you order online, to be delivered in 30-40 minutes. But the PH website never gives a honest update on the delay, it's impossible to call the branch (they don't answer the phone), and the staff there could not care less. They hence purposefully ruin the evenings of countless people who just want to spend a nice evening. Don't be one of them.
