My experience has been consistently marred by rude staff interactions and frequent overcharging. It's disappointing to encounter such treatment as a customer.

Excellent customer service. Nikhail made excellent sandwiches and didn't have any problems with our complicated order. He had a fun cheery attitude. Would recommend. 10/10

The server manipulated me into giving my phone to him under the guise of giving feedback in return for free cookies (I feel so stupid). On looking at my phone after, he had left a 5 star review for Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken ?? I shouldn’t have given my phone to him but this is still really weird and inappropriate. Meanwhile they forgot I had ordered hash browns.

Excellent service and yummy food

Says open until midnight but stop taking in store orders at 10pm and made me stand outside the shop in the cold to order on their app to then pick it up from the store. He didn't even make the sandwich until i came into the store so not too sure what the point of that was. Very blunt and dismissive of any conversation, finished making my sandwich and put it on the side and went into the back of the store for upwards of 10 minutes before coming back in and remembering to actually make me pay. Probably the worst subway i've ever been to in my entire life.

The server making my sub had long hair which was dangling into my sandwich as she was making it.

Absolutely disgusting. No care or attention and wrong ingredients. How you can do this wrong is mind blowing

I ordered breakfast for me and a friend and just eat was garbage again will never use them again. But I called the place (subway) and asked what was going on he told me he’s made it but no one was here. The food was cooked at least 45mins ago and it would be cold even if the driver was there. He said “he’s done his part it’s just eat that’s not doing their part” I told him that I would be cancelling as soon as the clock runs out in 3 minutes and he gets defensive saying it will be a waist of food if I cancel and what is he supposed to do! quite rude! I told him that it’s not my fault “I done my part its just eat that has not done their part” anyway I had trouble cancelling and the food turned up an hour later and I know the food was cooked and hour and a half ago so it was disgusting. And I could eat it. I will not be using just eat or this establishment again as he was very rude on the phone and when I tried calling back they ignored me.

Absolutely no words ordered meatball sub and received whatever this is packaged like this. Called up the subway and they said that they never had an order from me. Luckily Deliveroo refunded me. PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!!

Would avoid this subway as much as you can. Yesterday the manager tried to overcharge me by over £4 and only when I questioned it my bill was suddenly cheaper. They also missed putting a sandwich in the bag I saw them make in front of me . I then had to come back and when I questioned them on this I was met with rudeness and then had to wait a further 10 mins for them to remake the sandwich. Again AVOID!

Ordered 1footlong mega meat only 4 meatballs this is half what you usually get in most subways

The last few times I visited, I was charged more than what was advertised on the screen.

Says it's open until midnight but when I went in at 23:50 they said they closed at 11pm despite the shop still being open

The preparation of the subs here has taken a nose dive. They barely toast the bread and they don't cut the foot long subs in half. Think it must be under new ownership

The young girl in there was so polite and helpful compared to the other workers she’s the best

Went for a breakfast sub..the eggs are now poached or boiled but very very under cooked. Not the usual egg they serve. Bit of a let down to be honest

This Subway was by far the cleanest of any I've visited. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The service was quick and the sandwiches were delicious.

It was closing and I told the worker I had the last train to get, the man moved like lightning and I made my train with sub in possession. He wasn't shy with the filling either, superb service 👌🏻.

Obscene customer service. Obnoxious and rude, need I say more?

Ordered food for delivery though deliveroo asked for 2 bottles of pepsi max cherry only got one also ordered 2 hash browns and did not receive them should get what I asked for or if there was a problem should have phoned and asked

I have ordered twice from this particular Subway in the last couple of months & both times they got my order wrong my son got the bread I ordered & I got the bread he ordered on both occasions! Also the last time I ordered from them which was Monday they had put cabbage in 2 of the subs as well as getting the bread wrong I can't even remember cabbage being on the menu!! So my advice would be order elsewhere unless you'd like a lucky dip of what your going to get.

Reached a whole new level of rubbish food. Maybe the worst in Brighton. Nice enough staff, who do work hard. But not good at all to eat. The only positive feedback for this place is it is near shops that sell cider at a great price and availability 24 hours a day.

Just got a 6 inch sub from the Lewes road branch. I ordered the mega meat. He only put in 3 slices of each of the salamis and then 2 meat balls which he chopped in half. You can’t call it the mega meat. Also they were really unhelpful to the just eat driver. I had to tell him that the drinks weren’t in his bag they are here on the side. But workers said they were in the bag. I’m just a customer.

Can't comment on the food, because I was left outside for over 20 minutes waiting to be served whilst 12 Uber drivers pushed in front of me and had their orders dealt with before I had even been asked what I wanted. I appreciate they are busy but surely customers buying in store are just as important as delivery orders? I asked how long I would have to wait and was told 2 minutes, another 10 minutes passed with being ignored and pushed past and I ended up leaving. Also, neither gentleman behind the counter were wearing masks, they had them on their chin.

After a mix up, the manager walked all the way to my house to drop me my order. This service was excellent and far better than I expected.

Best subway in Brighton. Rating a chain fast food place like subway feels strange but the staff in this particular one are genuinely extremely good at their jobs, they cut the bread perfectly and use the perfect quantity of all the ingredients. Subway is my go to “quick, filling and easy” food since most other fast food places don’t cater as well to vegetarians. I’ve tried all other subways around Brighton and honestly had bad experiences with most of them, apart from this shining beacon of hope on Lewes road x

They sort of just throw it in the sub. And I'm pretty sure the guy was on the phone in his headphones.

Ordered with uber eats. Steak and cheese. Delivery great. But the subway was terrible, you would think that world we we are living in now, you wouldn't want bad business,well well this business clearly doesn't care about there business. So IF you order from here don't expect a fresh looking subway, because you won't get it. NEVER WILL RETURN. AND GET SOMEONE ENGLISH ON THE PHONE. SHOCKING SERVICE 😡😡😡

Don’t waste your money here. Was given literally 3 pieces of pepperoni for a six inch Cheesy Pepperoni Sub, No salad. Won't use again ever. I would recommend Church Road, Hove Subway if you want a good filling sub for lunch.

The sub had hardly anything in it, the last 1/5 was just bread, hardly any sauce either and the cookies taste old but they could have just been fresh baked on a dirty surface?

We work along Lewes Road and regularly get a subway.. most recently the service has certainly dropped and we always get questioned regarding our vouchers, where did we get them from! They dropped a lid of when they first opened and we still have some left. It’s like you are treated differently if you have vouchers and it’s pretty ridiculous. Need to sort their staff out.

Today used a subway voucher for six inch bacon sub for 99p instead of the three slices bacon got one slice bacon clearly vouchers used to rip of customers

Good food, healthy and vegetarian options available

Was given literally 5 pieces of lettuce, the worlds smallest scoop of tuna and a drop of sauce. For a salad that was essentially two forkfuls. Normally get served by a guy who does it well but this new server gave me quarter of a salad.

Liked it and thought the staff member was gorgeous too .. Haha! 😄

Had to wait half an hour to get served because of Deliveroo orders, 4 other customers left during that time as they got sick of waiting, finally when I did get served, the staff member stopped serving me and started making someone who had just walked in's sandwich whilst mine lay there going cold. Won't use again ever.
