Food is pretty good, especially the bbq spare ribs. Delivery time is good, the only thing that let's it down was the delivery cost.

Food was estimated 50 mins and took two hours 20 mins after I had to ring them twice to track the order, I understand we ordered on uber but this was unacceptable

Everything was absolutely disgusting I will never be ordering from Yummys again, first time was just okay this time I couldnt even finish it because it was making me feel sick, everything tasted like it was a couple days old and had been warmed up, special chow mein dry with very little meat or flavour, mixed appetiser starter all dried up and the spring rolls looking like they been sat on and had no filling inside most of them and the spare ribs in some kind of weird coloured looking red sauce, I can't even tell what it is because there's zero flavour to it, even down to the crackers wasnt great, think twice before ordering from this place because you could be wasting your money !

Loved the sweet and sour chicken balls. Really good pork in sweet and sour too.

So let's forgo the no service till you shout and head to the food. Boiled beef thrown into a curry mix and served. The meat is tasteless and nasty. The Art of cooking is totally lost in this place, don't bother, you will end up with gut rot

If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not recommend this place, first time ordering from here and found a jet black hair in the prawn crackers which put me off the rest of my food. no refund was given nor was an apology given. Safe to say I will not be ordering from here again where the food is not fit for consumption.

Good was absolutely awful. Got beef chow mein, sweet and sour chicken and peking ribs. All awful :/

Very tasty meals but take time for delivery.

Food is very good quality, affordable, services is great too, always get my food ready normally under 15 minutes. Overall it’s a very good takeaway restaurant to buy from. Been there for many years and they’ve never disappointed. 👍

Food was cold when arrived & the taste of the King Prawn Curry & Chicken Curry had no Taste whatsoever. The curry wasn't Chinese curry (More like Chip shop Curry) Definitely would not recommend & I will not order Ever Again.

Not tasty curry source very very lumpy. Wanted salt and pepper ribs and I got somethin different. Just not nice at all

Absolutely vile food, soggy salt and pepper chips but had no spice to them at all. Curry sauce with lumps in was disgusting. Egg fried rice but had one tiny piece of egg in how can that be justified? Salt and pepper chicken that wasn’t seasoned properly and had no flavour. Chicken chow mien with slimy chicken and a disgusting flavour sauce. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!!

Rude management. As frequent customer when a mistake happens you expect to be spoke with respect and the situation to be solved easily. Not for manager say “listen here yeah” “shut up love” in front on children aswell. Not a voice was being raised on my end. Absolutely appalled and I can think of many other companys who are worth my money. I’m disgusted. Luckily food hub kindly refunded our money!

Tried to order for delivery, only live about 5 to 10 minutes away and they kept declining the order saying it was too far. I have a broken leg so can't drive, the man on the phone was very rude and just hung up without listening. I'd go elsewhere if you want a Chinese and polite service

Ordered Saturday evening, best meal yet we've had off you...salt n pepper wings amazing, crispy shredded beef, pork curry, just everything had gone up a notch from good to excellent. Thankyou for your usual super fast delivery n tasty food....

Best Chinese takeaway in derby! Great food every time.

Ordered through Uber eats. Both my son and myself have been having stomach cramps since. The food was really greasy and were both paying the price now. It's put us both off street take outs. Will just stick to Derbion Yangtze, less greasy and less heavy on the stomach. Shame as the delivery was earlier than expected and the delivery guy was really friendly.

I spend £60 to get such small portions I’m disgusted with the quality of the food and missing items I will never be ordering from here again and would not recommend

We use this takeaway quite often and it is normally very good however tonight not so good. We ordered the ribs and they were so tough and tasteless. Very disappointed.

Just had house special chow mein it was dry and bland DON'T known what was special about it might as well got a plan one had better ftom different takeaway will not go back.

Delivery was fine but food tastless and greasy.

Food was discusting and arrived after 1hrs35mins and was charged over £25 for the pleasure. After 1hrs of waiting I phoned to see where my order was and was told it was on the way. However the operator forgot to mute the call when asking where the order was and I heard the cook saying it's being cooked now. The operator then came back and said there was a mistake in the delivery. TOTAL LIE. Will never use again, waiting 1:35hrs on a Thursday evening not even in peak time and getting delivered discusting food is a outrage. AVOID EVERYONE THIS PLACE IS A SHAMBLES

Had a bad delivery driver that delivered to wrong address so was not the takeaway s fault they rang me and apologised and next delivery was spot on with free portions thanks yummy

I ordered the lamb curry from here after a friend recommened this place. it was the worse meal I have ever tasted. The meat didn't even look like meat it was like softened fat and gristle. The sauce was gluppy and horrible tasting. After eating this meal I am considering going vegetarian

Very disappointed in this take away. First time ordering the other day. I ordered in advance but never got my order. When I called to ask where it is the manager was very rude and told me that the driver had already been at the address, when clearly they weren't as I was home and was waiting for my order. The manager also told me to come and collect the order myself. She was very disrespectful and was shouting at me on the phone. I asked for a refund she told me she wouldn't give it to me. Thankfully Uber eats was there to help me and I got a refund. But overall experience with this place is negative and we will never order from here again. I wish I could put 0 stars instead of 1. Don't waste your time with this place. Very disappointing.

Was expected between 7.35 and 7.55. Rang at 8.15 and told it would be 40 minutes. Rang again after 50 minutes to be told it was on its way arrived at 9.15.

Avoid! Ordered from here 5 times via Uber Eats because of the discount offers and normally order for 7pm. Out of the 5 times , once they cancelled the order 1 hour after the due time and food didn't arrive, 3 times the order arrived 1.5 hours - 2 hours late at 9pm! Only once they delivered as expected. Won't be returning if the food was free as it will arrive at bedtime.

First time ordering from Yummy last weekend through UberEats. Received a phonecall to double check our order and when we would like it delivering, member of staff I spoke to was lovely. Food was perfect, enjoyed it so much we ordered again this weekend. Highly recommend :)

Possibly the worst chinese I have ever tasted. I was bought a surprise meal for my birthday yesterday by my housemate. When it arrived the order was wrong. The Hot n Sour soup tasted like a bottle of vinegar, the prawn toast was swimming in grease and the pork balls were solid, overcooked and without the sweet n sour sauce. When we rang to complain, all we could hear was loud shouting in the background as we were told there was nothing they could do. Disgusting and not cheap at £35 pounds..totally spoilt my birthday treat.

Ordered through just eat. Delicious and tasty. Given an hour wait on delivery, but arrived in 20 minutes. Very pleased with the service and the food.

Waited 2.5 hrs for delivery, noone would answer the phone, when order finally arrived food was luke warm and tasted vile!! Waste of £37. Dont bother.

NEVER EVER, EVER USE THESE. We ordered food at 19:10 to be told delivery was due by 20:30; while 80 minutes was quite a while, given the situation and day of the week, we were prepared to wait, however, by 21:15, 2 HOURS after ordering, our food still hadn't arrived. Via just eat, we requested a text update which said delivery now due by 21:55!!!!! We rang the restaurant to confirm this was correct and they indeed said it would be ANOTHER 40 minutes. The person who answered our call was very polite but his superior in the background was very VERY rude towards the member of staff on the phone and towards us. Not being prepared to wait 3 hours for food or treated the way we were, we cancelled the order. As we ordered and paid by just eat, we now can't leave a review on their website and have to wait another 5-7 days for money to be available in our account for the order we cancelled. The restaurant don't care about this and offered no apology or explanation for the delay, just that we had to wait for our money back via just eat. Given that me and my wife are both key workers and have to be up in the morning, it's now too late to order from anywhere else, thanks Yummy!!!!!

Got spoken to in an awful way, didn’t receive correct order, when trying to communicate with staff it resulted in aggressive behaviour and had told me to come to she shop for the renaming items THEY MISSED! Ridiculously shocking experience and will never buy from them again, definitely Under age workers there and slavery behind the scenes.

We received our food after 2 hours! Was very cold and forgot egg fried rice. When we called to ask for it they told us we couldn’t have it and put the phone down. We rang again and they said that if we wanted a refund it would be at midnight!! Very disgusted

Our "ready meals" arrived 2 hours after ordering. They needed warming up due to the delay and didn't come with cooking instructions. Once reheated the food was "meh". Their excuse for the delay was that the driver "lost the receipt" which I would imagine is the standard response for any orders that are left till the end of their delivery. As you can imagine we wont be using these again any time soon.

Yummy delivered when others refused our order due to the distance which I understand in the current situation however Yummy will definitely have our business in the future. Tasty food and arrived hot and on time Fantastic, thank you👍

First time trying the food here, order a delivery, been told waiting time about 45mins. The driver ring up after an hour, I stay on 2nd floor of my apartment, took me about 20 - 30 sec to come down and I was told "PLEASE BE ON TIME TO COLLECT YOUR FOOD" by this impatient driver (Tuesday Delivery Driver). The food seem to be prepared in rush, half-cooked.. Total annoyed by this.. Do not teach other to be on time when YOU yourself are LATE. No more on time, First time, Last time. Thank you very much.

Used to be great, changed meat for chicken to poor quality replacement obviously for cost reasons. Not eaten here in over 18months, such a shame as was a regular for years!

Plenty of nice food but delivered an hour late from the quoted delivery time. If anyone's ordering on Saturday evening, make aure you order at least 2 hours in advance.

2 out of the 3 things ordered were wrong. Usually rate the food here but it was bad on this occasion. Tried ringing to have the items changed but couldn't get through. Really disappointed. Delivery man was lovely and polite however!

Ordered from here as my usual Chinese was closed. Delivery time was good, it came earlier than stated. My partner thought it was excellent and prefers it to our usual. I thought the chicken balls were a bit soggy. Really nice overall though and we will order again.
