This restaurant is not licensed and takes cash only which spoilt our experience. We don't carry cash these days and were quite shocked to find it was cash only. My wife had to stay in the restaurant whilst I went out to get cash which ruined our evening's experience. The food, however, had made up for it as it was delicious.

Authentic Chinese cuisine from China. Not the English style Chinese. So glad to have this at Bournemouth. Recommend prawn in salty duck yolk 😋

Delicious food and great value . The owner is so friendly and attentive and the whole experience was lovely. It is very traditional Chinese style. The owners kids were in the back tables playing their video games and were moved into back office when they became noisy.

Ordered 5 dishes - Ribs, salt and pepper squid, chicken chow mein, beef curry and an egg fried rice. Delivered this came to £53 Ribs came in the small container (normally for a small egg fried rice size). For small ribs with hardly any meat on them. The rest of the dishes were under par and heavily salted. Its the first time I've ever seen my partner leave chinese food. We gave the place a go and for £53 for a small takeaway I expected something above average, I would of even taken average at a push but it didnt even meet that mark. Mandarin fusion is cheaper and the food better

This is a hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant in Bournemouth. Maggie, the owner, is so nice and welcoming and you get the feel of a family run restaurant. As for the food, honestly, this is just as good, if not better, than what you would get in Chinatown London. You must try the aubergine! It’s to die for..

Went here (25/03/2023). Went down from Rugby, Warwickshire (about a 5 hour round trip), to take my Son and his girlfriend out for dinner for his upcoming birthday. They had previously said that the food here was fantastic, so wanting to try it, I said let's go here. I wasn't disappointed. I want to put this context, my son's girlfriend, although not Chinese, lived in China for 14 or so years (so she knows real Chinese food, as do her parents) she said that this is the most authentic Chinese food she has ever had outside of China. Even her parents said the food here was authentic and superb when they visited last year. On the strength of eating here, my son said he'd be happy to visit and eat in China. To be honest, after eating here this eve, I'd say the same. Ok, so it helps if you have a 'guide' familiar with real, proper Chinese food, but the staff are very friendly and very helpful so don't be scared. Give it a try. This isn't you average 'English' Chinese restaurant/takeaway, this is proper Chinese food and absolutely delicious. The bean dish is fantastic, to die for, I could have just eaten that with some rice, as was the beef broth with noodles. Being English and naive on real authentic Chinese food, i also ordered a Chicken Chow Mien to feel safe, the best I've ever had and I judge Chinese restaurants/takeaways on this. The only one that comes close is Star East on Paxcroft Mead, Hilperton in Trowbridge. You can walk past this place without noticing it, but do try and search it out, I wasn't disappointed, you won't be. I've seen comments about pricing, but £43 for 3 people, for absolutely delicious food (which we struggled to finish) I call that a bargain. I can't wait to find an excuse to visit again.

Absolutely delicious! Ordered from UberEats after some time of looking. Food was amazing, and for some reason, it was all discounted! Dumplings and brisket in broth with noodles were yummy 😋

They charge 1 pound or 50p extra for the overpriced dishes already yet the menu is not updated. The portion looks not small but there are not much meat or chicken at all. All are veg. and sauces only. Service is good. Cash only. Not authentic Szechuan at all. Probably the worst szechuan food i ever tried in the UK. 完全不是川菜,跟学生做的一样,不好吃。虽说英国吃不到正宗的川菜,但这完全距离川菜十万八千里。

I went to the restaurant with my boy friends at night and the food was amazing and the service was pretty good as well, the only thing is the restaurant is really busy so it might take a while to let the waitress get to u and order food for u but overall I would recommend this restaurant to everyone

My wife and I who are oriental turned up the other day just after 2pm for lunch and was ignored by the server who was in the back answering a phone call. The restaurant was not even half-full at the time. After calling out to see if anyone was there, the server came out and ignored us and walked past and spoke to a Caucasian guy who had a business query and brusquely told him she had no time to help him. After dealing with him, she turned to us and said in an abrupt voice that they couldn't take any more customers as they already had existing orders they needed to serve before they closed at 3pm. We asked if we could even order have a bowl of noodles each so as to not cause trouble but she said sorry and just said they can only do takeaway only before they closed. When asked for a takeaway menu, she said she didn't have any and didn't care about our custom. We left and shan't be returning there ever.

We came here as a family. There were families and couples here, all SEAsian, so the food must be good. It was! We bamboozle soup, chicken ball starters, chicken wings, noodles, grief rice, beef, chow mein. All great tasting.

After being let down on another booking I plucked Yumm Tumms from nowhere. Getting out the taxi I was not sure whether to go in and on going in I definitely was not sure whether to stay. Poor surroundings, plastic cloths no atmosphere. However not being done with the bother of going the food which we ordered was hot and delicious. Do try even if only a takeaway

Stopped by for lunch, had an amazing meal - The food is authentic chinese food as opposed to the standard, mundane takeways. Great food, great service and great value. Will be back for sure

Great little place, excellent Dim Sum, though limited options. Staff were very good. It's not the type of place you go to for a lovely relaxing lunch, it's ideal if you're in town and fancy a good dim sum, well cooked and tasty and not expensive at all

Ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night via Uber eats. Was really disappointed as it didn’t taste fresh at all. The prawn toast was inedible, it was so hard and chewy? Did not enjoy the chicken either as it had a funny taste. Some parts of the takeaway tasted ok but overall would not order again.
