Went today lovely breakfast , well cooked and great staff , however only draw back when asked to substitute an item on the fixed menu for another item , we was informed we had to pay extra .

Honestly I would never go back to this place I should have left straight away but once I sat down felt too polite too...🙄🙄. nothing for me on the menu I don’t eat meat or eggs and mostly don’t eat dairy either but had some time to kill before an appointment so I ordered a cheese sandwich and an orange juice.....the woman that took my order had pink eye so that was nice! I also found a bit of red in my cheese sandwich?????? Nice!

every thing i have had here is excellant -- went back today after a gap ( been working away) and you get a cheerful team in the kitchen and ot front --perfect mug of tea and bacon and egg sandwich MMMM

Handy for the Ashton Square car-park for eats before having a look around the town, good food at reasonable prices and plenty of it on the plate for the bigger eater.

The Yum Yum is quite simply an institution in Dunstable. It is a cherished venue of the town and offers great food.

We were going to a funeral but we were early, so we wanted a short “pit stop” and this was really excellent. My salad sandwich was so full I could hardly bite on it but it was really fresh. Milky coffee was hot and creamy . The two ladies were charming and service really quick. A good place to remember.

Called in here before going to watch football , ideally placed with a car park next door. Really nice breakfast that came quickly at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff , only down sight the only toilet was upstairs .

I have been here on many occasions and I have always found the food and service of good quality. Certainly the best in Dunstable area. If you are hungry there is a good menu to sate your appetite for both breakfast and lunch... give them a try.

We had a lovely breakfast at yum yum! Service was really good!!! We had two lovely cups of coffees really yummy!!! I had super breakfast and now we are talking!!! Yes was superb!!! My wife had a super grill and was quite a strange combination but lovely!!! This is the best place in town!!! Do you fancy a good, pardon me, a yummy breakfast? This is the best place in town!!!

I have been going to Yum yums for years and never been disappointed, its a great meal house and well cooked and served, good place for meeting people.

You get what you pay for here! Breakfast and lunches available. Some reasonable prices and some things really are quite extortionate! If you order an extra side dish... share it! Don't order 2 as the portions are quite huge and you've paid twice! You definitely won't have an empty stomach that's for sure!! Ketchup isn't Heinz and neither are the beans!

Habiendo comido en Yum Yums antes, fui con mi familia de sábado por la mañana para el desayuno. Estaba lleno de abajo arriba, pero había espacio y nos sirvieron rápidamente. La comida era traído bastante rápidamente - era muy agradable, bien cocinada y caliente. La decoración podría realmente hacer una actualización y tiene un toque de puerco. Sin embargo, en general, el desayuno era muy bueno y sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

As a local the Yum Yum is a famous place to eat. It's fry ups are legendary and it has really stood the test of time.

I was passing by and just thought why not have a cookked breakfast, I was lucky to park for free in a side road, otherwise you have to pay for parking but it is right next to this café so if you are not as tight as me its really handy!Food was lovely and the staff were pleasant. Price very good.They have an upstairs as well which i prefer rather than being downstairs as you have a view of the taxi rank ,Really is worth a visit.

Sam's small brother, Joseph, is a fan of Yum Yum - whenever he stays over he says, "Granny, can we go to THAT place for breakfast?" (Sam, you will remember, has very limited likes in the food line; Joseph is much more adventurous.) Yum Yum is great for a cooked breakfast - this grown-up likes going there, too. The prices are reasonable and the selection relatively good. I like marmalade on my toast and they always supply it free of charge, even though it isn't part of the menu.

went for a coffee and had lunch, my friend didnt like her tea very strong which it was, so she asked for it to be changed, no trouble at all ,very friendly smiling manager who made us laugh, and we ended up having lunch there too. Woul definately go back in there. .

You probably wouldn't go here for its appearance but if you're looking for good basic English food then you'll be in the right place. They're friendly and polite and we've never had a bad burger or breakfast here. We normally eat upstairs as it's quieter and you can see what's going on outside from a window table. They've had a sign up by the till saying the card machine isn't working for at least a month so be sure to take cash.

Called in for breakfast never been in before, it looked very basic but clean. The waitress came along very quickly to serve us and she was pleasant and patient. We placed our order, the coffees came quickly and we're very pleasant and hot. The meals were a little longer but worth waiting for, we had ordered breakfast and I have never had a breakfast served to me so hot. The food itself was of good qualities, tasty and hot. 3 breakfasts with coffee and toast £15 now who can complain at that. The service was excellent and given with a smile!

I thought at first glance that this was a Chinese Takeaway! but it is a general cafe serving the usual fast food - burgers, fish, omelettes, sarnies. It seems to have regular local clientele as the staff and customers were all very chatty and jokey with each other. I ordered omelette chips and salad and a cuppa. It was all cooked fresh to order, so a short wait but it was worth it, delicious food and a fresh tasty salad, and a lovely mug of tea. If I lived in Dunstable I would happily call in here on a regular 'I can't be bothered' to cook basis! Very pleased with my choice.

This place is like something from the 1970s . Hideous decor and everything feels lowest end of the market . Clientele seemed to be the unemployed and seniors.Breakfast was low quality ingredients cooked and presented without much care .Not expensive but tired and old school .Not for me.

Certainly one of the best (and proper) places around Luton and Dunstable to have full English breakfast. I wouldn't have anything else from the menu although we haven't tried much more other than breakfast. I won't give them 5 star as they're scrambled eggs are average (very dry). Super full breakfast is £6.5 and you certainly get lots for your money. Great coffee as well. Would definitely recommend!

Not the cleanest but ok the toast was burnt and not fresh and chewy, the sausage was fine but every thing else was cool. Cheap eggs also. You are better off at Weatherspoon's.

Simply the best in Dunstable. We have been coming a few times a week for years. A really good breakfast and quality ingredients. The super grill is a one a day meal. The service is good.

Great breakfasts, friendly service and always very quick which is great when u want a quick bite to eat. Omelettes are also nice. Doesn't look much from the outside but does the best friend breakfast in Dunstable and always allow you to swap items if you don't eat everything that comes with it which is great as I don't eat sausages is always swap it for extra bacon. Great value for money

I have been eating here for years and have never had any problems. The breakfast are the best and they always accommodate my choices for what I eat and don't eat allowing me to swap items. All the food is reasonable priced and you always get a good sized portion. Very fast service your meal is always ready within about 5 minutes or so which is just great especially when you have things to do. Easy to grab a quick biteFood is cooked on a griddle so it not greasy like in some places.

All the food for a cooked breakfast is all deep friend, needed a chainsaw to cut my bacon, only bonus is my plate wasn't swimming in grease.

We go there every Saturday morning. The food is good. The staff are polite and nice. We have yum full English... bacon, sausage, black pudding etc. Not a gourmet meal but does the job. You get what you pay for and it's good!

I have eaten here for many years, you don't get top of the range food but what you do get is good quality full english breakfast with trimmings chips black pudding with a selection off cooked eggs fried scrambled etc staff are well mannered

Yes as others have stated its a little dated and could do with a good spruce up. I visit normally once a month for a good plate full of food. Its always well cooked and arrives pipping hot. Its a local cafe in the corner of demising Dunstable. I love it.

Awful visit to this place today. The waitress was a turnoff, looked like we were putting her out by coming in, no smile or welcome. So we just had drinks - mistake - awful stewed tea and watery hot chocolate which we didn't bother finishing. ALSO if I had visited the toilet before my drink I wouldn't have ordered anything. Toilet was filthy and had obviously not been wiped round the top or cleaned under the rim for weeks. No soap and a hand towel to share with everyone. Must say the food looked ok but we will definitely not be going back there again.

a good buy for my wife is set menu A 1 ..I like most things from here ..they have a small place to sit and eat not posh by anymeans but very good .mainly just a take away

If you are a bacon and eggs soul; then yum yums is the place for you. There is nothing grand about this destination having features of a time warp about it.If you are eager to relive a 1970s truckstop treat, then do come.

Of all the cafes in the area, yumyums is definitely by far the best. Quick service, friendly and helpful staff, great prices and Delicious food! What more could you ask for!

I often dine at Yum Yum because the staff are very helpful and pleasant. This is a serviced food outlet with a very good menu which is well cooked and presented on the plate. The prices are very reasonable and they are also child friendly

That's what it is - a pretty good value for money cafe. Nothing really to write home about but you can't beat freshly cooked egg and chips, two slices and a cuppa for four quid!!

Nice English breakfast and a coffee in a big mug for about £3. Can't go wrong there!
