My elderly mother in law lives on the park homes behind and the jungle music currently vibrating her walls and ceilings is totally unacceptable! You have zero consideration for your neighbours only about the tickets you have sold for this to plague the elderly from 11:00hrs till 22:30hrs Totally unacceptable!

Fantastic Thai food! Wow, had no idea it would be so fresh, so authentic and so delicious! You must try it, especially if you live in Caddington, Woodside or Slip End, this is a hidden gem in the countryside. Parking right outside and super friendly staff and superb Thai chef. I live in Australia where there are heaps of Thai restaurants and this ranks among the best of them! Please try it, support your local business. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel I have to because the prawn toasts were the best I’ve ever had! And the calamari was amazing, easily up there with the best and I’ve tried a lot! We were looking for somewhere that does a Sunday roast so decided to stop by. The Plough had new ownership and it was their first day serving food. I had the pork belly myself and it was really good, both in terms of quality and quantity. The others I was with were also very happy with their food, and the staff were always on hand if we needed condiments etc. We'd happily return the next time we're in the area.

Got there on a Sunday with 4 adults n 2 kids. They said they were only doing roasts for adults but kids have a choice but it will be 15 mins which was fine. But my daughter knocked a glass of coke over n one of the girls came out with just a mop no bucket n didn't really know what she was doing. Then another came out with a bucket to take over but left it half way through with out putting a wet floor sign up, to deal with mums coffee she had been even with milk that had gone off to put in it. Had to wait ages to get another while they went shop to get fresh milk but after all this n waiting over an HR the food was good but not worth £15 each

Very poor, If I could give a minus rating it would be minus 2 stars. Went as part of a group of approx 50 invited to a renew your vows wedding party. The happy couple had requested a marquee ( not there) buffet for 50 and were shown a buffet for a childrens party but there was not enough for 25 kids let alone 50. a DJ playing music ( arrived after most people had started to leave). A bouncy castle with slide ( a small one was present ).The garden was a health issue, a large pile of wooden rubbish in the top half of the garden, a small ride on mower next to the bouncy castle which obviously attracted the kids who had to keep being told not to play on it. I know the couple were extremely upset and angry and if it wasn't for 1 female member of staff who did her best to salvage the situation we would all have left straight away. Apparently the manager was not available to discuss this although I am willing to be corrected on this point. Certainly would never recommend this venue !! To anyone.

Visited the Plough pub after reading some of the reviews for a Sunday roast dinner....we were very disappointed. . we thought that the meal wasn't value for money as the portions were similar to a children's dinner. We had the smallest roast potatoes we had ever seen 3/4 per plate. I had 1 small slice of chicken and about 5 small bits of chicken..the vegetables were all piled on to one bowl.. Food presentation was a real zero....we won't be going back again.... No real ale or craft beer's...... There is also no menu available.....as for the interior, it needs a total refurbishment .. quite scruffy. .. zero atmosphere...

As a family we chose here as we were told it was family friendly, how wrong were we. The staff were drunk and shouting abuse at us, they were happy to take our money though. One of the group has a disability and wanted to use the disabled toilet to be told that he didn't look disabled and that the toilet was being used as a store room.... surely this is illegal. Thats only one point, our teenagers were being accused of underage drinking and drug taking which is totally untrue. Our family were so distraught from the experience and unprofessionalism of the staff/management that it has us so upset. We will never ever return to this pub again.

It was a little bit daunting walking into what is clearly a locals pub and with only one staff member manning the venue it was a bit tricky getting settled in. Once we'd realised that we needed to get the barmaids attention for food it fell into place. We sat for two reasonably priced meals which were pleasant although my piece of Cod was still pink and cold in the middle. Once returned to the kitchen and heated up in the microwave it was good to go. I probably wouldn't return unless living locally and then not for food. In fairness to the barmaid she clearly had her hands full and probably needs a pay rise.

Lunch time over 60's menu looks very good value.. It was very relaxed and had a few regulares to give it a good vibe. Day time TV on the big screen was two loud. 😖 This is a pub not someone's front room.. Overall I liked my visit, beer a tad expensive, but in line with village pricing.

Nice pub but awful 'pub grub' which is a shame if you're a local and not spoilt for choice like me. Ordered a 'vegitable nut and aprocot roast' - arrived very fast, but was plappy and cold in the middle. The excuse was 'we don't stick our fingers in it when we cook it, but it's not a problem, a couple more minutes and it will be fine'. Not to add, it wasn't really a nut roast, more a pasty filling. To be honest, I could get a better microwave meals cheaper in Tesco...

Unfortunately after a sad day laying a loved one to rest we went back to The Plough so we could all be together we were charged at £8.25 per head and there were roughly 30 people but the food that was presented looked like it cost around £50 there was no crisps , nuts, bread ,dips , salad etc nor was there anything for vegetarians apart from cheese puffs! The food that was there was nice enough but was far from £8.25 per head worth of food which was such a shame having to end what was already such a hard day like that! Sadly disappointed ☹

The deep fried starters (spring rolls & breaded mushrooms) were OK- can't really go hugely wrong... The roast dinner was disgusting-beef and chicken were dry. Veggie roast with goats cheese was the only semi decent thing. The vegetables were cooked beyond recognition so tasteless and a similar consistency to baby food. Gravy was lumpy, but the frozen Yorkshire pudding was acceptable. The sachets of condiments left on the table were 5 months out of dates. In the toilets mentioned that they only use local produce, laughable. If this is the case then they have just crucified good quality food which is a huge waste Don't go of you are looking any type of decent food. Id stick to the crisps!!
