An easy easy 5 star from me. This is mainly down to the food itself. The quality and freshness shines through. The seating area is nothing special but you do forget about that when you start eating. Really is amazing amazing food and my fave bakery in London. If you haven’t been….you’re missing out!!

Popped in Sunday morning around 10.00am, bought a sourdough loaf and a baguette for work the next day. Paid over £3.00 for the baguette which I though was a bit steep but though it would be really nice, good quality, nice taste, texture etcetera. When I sampled it at home it was dry, the bread inside had a firm, lifeless feel to it, nothing particularly special. Was even wondering it could have been made the day before?

We stopped as a family of four for a late morning coffee/early lunch as we have often done. No problem with the staff friendliness or the coffee but something has gone seriously wrong in the bakery. All four of us were disappointed with our choices. Sausage rolls - smaller and less tasty than before. Quiche - anemic, underseasoned, soggy. Kids had sweet pastries - a dried out chocolate croissant, and a dried out pink doughnut. Kids normally will scoff anything but they both complained and struggled to eat what was put in front of them. Were these left over from yesterday??? Such a shame, given the quality they used to deliver.

I was craving an almond croissant and couldn't muster the energy to go here but saw they were on deliveroo (although it is way too expensive with them) but I was craving them so badly I was willing to pay the extortionate prices..Again the almond croissant did not disappoint..really yummy. So lucky it is close by as they are better than some I've had in special bakeries around London.

I was so pleased when Your Bakery opened some 5 or maybe even 6 years ago. The highest quality bread and cakes were created every night there on the premises. I regularly bought the most excellent sour dough amongst other things. There have definitely been a few glitches with the quality. Ricotta rolls were halved in size although not price, for a while. Bread was intermittent in quality. Then some items were bought in although upon asking I was told they were made on the premises. They may have been cooked on the premises but only in the same way that Lidl cooks their pastries on the premises. But now alas the sourdough has lost that artisan touch. The outside looks like sour dough but there it ends. It does not have the taste, smell or texture of a good loaf. 2 bought consecutively were the same. So disappointing. I won’t be going back.

We popped in for breakfast before heading into central London. The bakery has a comfortable and homely atmosphere. The service was helpful but not as warm as it might have been. However, the almond croissants and coffee made up for it. The coffee was great and the croissants the best we’ve tasted….perfect. Not the cheapest place in Whitton but the quality is worth paying a little extra for.

"Your Bakery" has been a local benefit and I have bought bread here ever since its opening. I think it has changed hands more than once. Unfortunately in the last two months I have been sold stale scones and stale Pain de Mie. I have written an email to ask that the Bakery can confirm whether or not they are selling yesterday's bakery but they have not replied. I don't think they will worry that they are losing a customer as this is a very popular shop and sit-in cafe. I should mention that the staff are uniformly delightful and friendly. I want to take this opportunity to remind residents that there are two truly excellent bakers who attend the Saturday morning Farmers Market in Twickenham.

This lovely little bakers has changed for the worse , not as much to choose from since they have added more tables and chairs to make it more like a coffee shop. I can only speak for the coffee which is great and the staff will happily tailor your order. All the bread in the window looks delicious but is perhaps a bit overpriced. Having said that, it appears to sell out. The cakes and food at the counter looks amazing though have not tried. Have noticed a few gluten free cakes available. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming though it is a bit cramped seating wise. Families with small children would struggle for space. The one thing I dislike is the uncomfortable chairs. They are stylish and fine for a quick coffee but so hard! Staff are friendly and helpful. Also opens a bit later than some others on the high street.

Disappointing experience after my first and probably only visit. The brunette lady was really unhelpful and unhappy to help. I asked which out of two cakes were most rich and she seemed slightly put out in having to think about and answer this. Such a shame as the the other staff seemed happy and smiley. As you may be able to see from my previous reviews of this bakery that I was a massive fan and hadn't been for a while. However, I was in the area today and was dreaming of their almond croissant. What a disappointment! First of all it was £2.10 which I don't mind paying for quality. However it was dry and stale. My crossiant was tiny compared to the previous ones I've bought from here and really really sweet no almond flavour at all. I'm gutted as this was my favourite almond croissant (and I've tried several over the years).

the coffee was good, not great, the lady making it was obviously in a bad mood, these things happen, the savory bakery items were good also but again, there seemed to be no love in the service; she did not offer to warm them.we sat outside because the seating space inside was limited and then another lady came to serve us and she was more interested in her food and her customers. so maybe it was just that; an indifferent hired hand.we will give it another try, haven just moved into the area.

I love this place and blame it for a border-line cake addiction. I often nip in for a cuppa (does decent coffee and tea) and a cake/pastry of some sort. My favourites are the apricot Danish, the little chocolate ganache/raspberry tarts and the pastry slice with the plum slices. My only complaint in relation to those is that they sometimes don't have the one I'm after (wail!). They have good selection of breads to take away at decent prices. I tried the olive rolls today & they were really good. I'm vegetarian and there are a couple of savoury options including mini quiches but I usually go there for the non-savoury things. I'd recommend this place for anyone fancying a light lunch, snack or cake and coffee, so long as they don't take the last apricot Danish!!

Over recent years Whitton has really come up in the world with delightful establishments such as Coffee Bean, Mosaic Cafe, an independent bike shop, and a great wine outlet, Ralphs. Alongside these is this fantastic bakery which really does exceed at all levels. Some of the specialist breads and pastries are not cheap, it must be said, but the quality is there, no doubt. Having eaten breakfast regularly at The Wolseley I must declare that 'Your Bakery' does better pastries. In particular the almond croisants. Oh, and the lovely quiches. Bread is delicious, coffee and tea good and the service very pleasant, although sometimes they seem a little stretched at busy periods. The price of success, I suppose. With big chains (Starbucks, Greggs, Costa) beginning to sniff an opportunity in Whitton, it is important to make sure that these independents survive and thrive, and I can not see this bakery disappearing any time soon. Pay them a visit, you will not regret it.

Waited patiently to buy a loaf of Olive sourdough listening to people gushing about the place 'we only need an M&S food and a Waitrose and Whitton will be complete'.The bread is a pretty solid. It would be pretty effective in hand to hand combat. I loathe wasting food but this I can excuse as it could be easily mistaken for a building product. I hope they can overcome this. I live in a part of London which has an amazing bakery which specialises in sourdough - it does not have to be this heavy.

Sick of greasy pastries and in/out shops owned by faceless corporations, want to have good food and not be rushed? I know we were bored of G***gs (boo, hiss) etc, and we're so glad we visited this place last year. We visited a few theme parks and attractions in and around London last year, we are going again in a few weeks time (hence this belated review. I should have done it earlier, sorry).I had some food recently, mentioned to my other half about the food we had last year at this shop, we then decided we'd go down south again to do something and pop back in for some more food. So, in essence, this bakery is the main reason we're going to the London area again this year, and not the attractions (skiplex and museums, see later reviews). The visit: Last year we stayed close to here due to the train station being close by, and popped into Your Bakery because it just looked so inviting when walking down the high street. And boy did my taste buds thank me for it.I had a panini, since then every panini just doesn't taste as good, the texture and taste of it being freshly baked far far surpasses the usual high street shops.Everyone's food was lovely, you could see on their faces that they were loving it. Be warned though. Their panini as ruined me. I can't have another without thinking back and how it tasted and felt. Yum. Be seeing you soon, Your Bakery, I'm sure you won't let us down.

This times, I also had a mushroom quiche which seemed to be a new product. It was really scrumptious that I didn't want to finish. There were more versified range of merchandises. (Many kind of gluten-free cakes!) The shop staff were more cheerful and kind and it was very pleasant that I could feel that they really were enjoying working at this shop. The inside, there is cafe with several tables and chairs and everything was still kept clean and neat. I really think this bakery could go to the high street in central London. I really envy the local people of Whitton. You have such a lovely cafe!!

We buy bread loaves from here pretty much on a weekly basis. Excellent quality of products and freshest taste. Always. One of the best bakeries/cafes around. Highly recommended.

I often have tea and cake in this lovely cafe. The cakes are fresh and delicious, and often different from the usual run of the mill. The tea is always beautiful and really hits the spot! I can also reccommend the paninis and the little quiches, although they are sadly often all gone by the time I get there!

You will not buy a better cup of coffee or take home a better traditionally baked loaf of bread.Have purchased many different types of bread , pastries and cakes from this establishment since it opened last year. All bread etc is made and baked on the premises using only the finest ingredients.I particularly like the taste of 'proper bread" . They will even slice it for you if required. There are six or so tables where you can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea , chocolate etc. with a slice of cake or a pastry. The coffee is excellent strength and flavour. Service is excellent. Do try this establishment when in the area. Also offer a takeaway service. Thoroughly recommended

Whitton is so lucky to have this amazing bakery. Great homemade breads and the cakes, Wow, they are so good you just can't share. My girlfriend almost swallowed her slice whole and I was wanting to try another but will save that treat for tomorrow. Amazing. Great staff too. Thanks

When Your Bakery opened we feared it would be 'out of place' and out-competed by existing bakeries, cafes and other 'chain' outlets in the high street. Nothing could be further from the truth - Your Bakery is absolutely flying and it's not hard to see why. They make all their own breads, cakes and savouries. And the quality is exceptional - you pay a little more but you REALLY get what you pay for. The 'back of house' cafe is small, but comfy - love the recycled furniture. The coffee is really good and the service is attentive and courteous. Your Bakery deserves to do well - the effort put in is plain to see and it knocks spots off the only other independent bakery in the area.

Lovely cakes and a good cup of tea but they don't understand the concept of a pot of hot water. (I like me tea weak). They did give me a small milk jug with no handle full of hot water. Very hard to pour as it was too hot to hold and spilt down my leg. Tried to attract attention as I was on crutches it was difficult to keep getting up and down. In the end left only able to drink half a cup of tea as the rest was too strong. They need to keep an eye on their customers not just on the new people coming in the door.

When this bakery opened I feared for its existance as although the quality of product was excellent and head and shoulders above what was available elsewhere, I wondered whether they could build their market. 12 months on and they go from strength to strength. Yes, you do pay a premium for the product but the quality is worth it, and despite what others may think, it is not a crazy premium. (No one is forcing you to buy). Excellent products, good knowledgeable staff and always a friendly welcome. May their success encourage others to establish outlets for unique and quality products.

We had a Spanish pastry chef (Salvadore) in Te Awamutu New Zealand who made the best croissants with almond paste and although we have travelled extensively through France, Italy, and indeed all European cities and North America, we never found anything to match Salvadore.... That is until we came to the Whitton Bakery! Who would have thought? From a little village in New Zealand to a village in London to find the best ever Almond Croissants. So smooth and creamy. Yum. Staying in Whitton for a couple of months so will be back often! Thanks Helen!

Nice place for a coffee, but for bread I would strongly suggest you go and find another bakers in Whitton High Street. With crazy prices for a loaf these guys think they are in Richmond ! To be really honest the bread itself is not all that good anyway.

excellent addition to the high street selling beautiful home baked bread etc. Staff i have always found to be most helpful and efficient. prices are a little high though, especially for this area....i mean £14 plus for 6 sausage rolls....altho they are delicious and not your usual " all pastry and no meat " kind that you would find in most supermarkets and frozen food stores.Would def recommend to anyone who wants a taste of quality....long as you have a full purse !

We were in Whitton High Street around 1 pm today and as it had begun raining we thought we would stop for lunch. Your Bakery looked very enticing from the outside with its delicious cakes displayed in the window so we decided to go in. As we entered a man, who clearly worked there, seemed to approach us but in fact walked straight past us. We found ourselves a table easily as there were only 3 or 4 people inside and waited to be served. There were two girls working at the counter but although we turned towards them several times we were unable to catch their eye. After about 6 - 8 minutes we still had not been spoken to or even handed a menu. We decided to give it another minute or two but after this we realized we were not going to be served as the girls, who were were not particularly busy, were just talking to each other. We left our table and as we went past the counter one of the girls said 'Thank you' to which I replied 'We haven't been served yet!' We went further on down Whitton High Street and found a cafe where we were almost immediately approached with a menu and shortly afterwards our order was taken. We won't be returning to Your Bakery again in a hurry!!

The food at Whitton Bakery is delicious and the staff are always friendly. I like the fact that it has a unique quality rather than a 'chain' feel. The décor and food is lovely.

I love an apricot danish pastry and this bakery makes organic ones!! They are by far the best I've EVER had and they are less expensive than those chain cafes, which are far less delicious! If you live locally this should be your local, and if you don't, it's worth visiting Whitton for!

Superb sourdough bread and what must be the country's finest fruit scones. By the way this gem of a home bakery is in Whitton Middlesex, not Wales.

The pub is much the same as most pubs these days. No longer has food for sale.

Although the coffee is amazing, the customer service from the gentleman behind the counter was not welcoming - there was no smile, or any friendliness whatsoever. I actually felt like I was intruding. For nearly £4 for a coffee, you would expect a friendlier atmosphere. A shame. I don’t want to return after that experience.

We recently had our wedding at Pembroke Lodge, and I cannot say enough good things about the venue manager, Robert. From the moment we started planning to the big day itself, he was absolutely incredible. Robert went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He was always available to answer our questions, offer solutions, and provide creative suggestions that enhanced our vision. He coordinated effortlessly with our vendors, making sure everyone was on the same page, which took so much stress off our shoulders. On the day of the wedding, he was a true rockstar! He made sure the timeline flowed perfectly, from setting up the ceremony space to ensuring the reception transitions were seamless. His dedication and hands-on approach allowed us to enjoy every moment without worrying about a single thing. Our wedding was a dream come true, and we owe so much of that to him and his team! Thank you, for everything you did to make our day magical.

Stumbled upon this place when heading to our hotel. Staff were super friendly and the food lovely. They reserved a table for breakfast the next day for us, being very accomodating. To top it off the food was lovely.
