The pizza 🍕 is far away from the Italian style it wasn't delicious.

Cosy inside. Had the smallest and most expensive panini ever, although taste was good.

Absolutely amazing pizzas it is the best cafe I've been to!!!!!!

This is a nice little eatery, close to Kingston bridge (on Thames). The service was very good, however the food was a little bit bland, which we (my wife, son and I) agreed upon. Would I revisit this establishment, yes I would, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go back.

Initially an aggressive attitude from a member of Staff who then turned when he realised i was buying something ???? this was one of the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life and I’m in my 40s, been eating pizza for a long time and jeez it was bad

A cosy restaurant with a friendly atmosphere; excellent service and a delightful place for families. I passed by for a cup of tea and a croissant, which was delicious; my first time in the local area. The gentleman who served us was very attentive and kind. I look forward to stop by again next time. Relaxed mid-mirning coffee with a couple of chapters. Others seemed to be enjoying breakfast. Low level cafe jazz in the background. Polite efficient service.

I order here frequently. Never had any issues when they deliver my food. It always tastes fresh and nice. I like their fries as it’s medium in width and crisp but malleable at the same time. It’s feels light and not oily. Which is what you want, or at least that is what I want. My only criticism is the polystyrene packaging. But this isn’t only reserved to this cafe. But to many restaurants. I feel there has to be a way to cover heated foods without having hot air coming from the meal radiating within, and then causing it to become moist and wet inside (condensation). This can cause particular foods to be soggy like with breads etc. It’s a tough balance. Making sure the food is still hot when it arrives to you or when you take it home, but also delivering the quality as it would be if served there and then. I hope all establishments will be looking at this. I’ve seen the idea of using card or foil for breads - I’ve observed how Subway package their hot sandwiches - while their bread is thicker - which helps. The paper they use and the method they tightly enclose the sub roll I think helps prevent any sogginess. Maybe in particular with my meal that I order they could separate the chips into the polystyrene container and put the toastie wrapped in the way mentioned above. There was a man called Alan Speight who was in charge of making sandwiches in the 80s for Marks and Spencers. He had a problem with trying to create a product where certain wet ingredients like lettuce and tomato would not be absorbed into the bread. He experimented with the dough, the shape and the process of baking - eventually he figured out a type of loaf that could retain its texture and layers for at least 4 or 5 hours. Now, I’m comfortable with the bread they use here, and I do not know their budget - but if Pomegranate can produce a slice that can withstand moisture collection, while keeping its integral taste - then that could work too. To add - I’ve seen what Costa Coffee manufacture and I’m not sure of the material they use. It looks like a hard piece of cardboard with ridges on the outside that help the card form into a solid semi oval shape - where the heated sandwich has room to spread the air outwards and through the bottom corners, along with allowing the bread to keep its core mould. Please see photo of the design that I’ve included with this review. These are possible methods to consider. If it’s financially viable I hope something can be done. All in all - I will continue to order food from here. I recommend anyone interested to give these guys a shot. We must do a lot for local businesses rather than going for the conglomerate choices all the time. Thanks.

I ordered from The Pomegranate Bistro for the first time and I am very disappointed. My club sandwich consisted of 1 rasher of bacon for the whole sandwich and the tiniest scrap if chicken carefully placed in the centre so that it was visible when cut into triangles and saturated with mayonnaise. With that came the smallest handful of chips. The Bistro in Ham is much better value and their club sandwich actually has a decent amount of chicken.

Lovely fresh cooked food with a varied menu. Prices are reasonable. Staff very friendly. We ate here two nights in a row and throughly enjoyed it.

Popped in for a coffee, which was so nice I returned for a full on breakfast (the BIG one not the full one). Staff are are all friendly, the place is clean and the food is very tasty,, ESPECIALLY the sausages! Reasonable prices too!

We visited Hampton Wick recently and made the wise decision to eat at Pomegranate Bistro on a number of occasions. The menu was extensive, the food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the service could not be faulted. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Absolutely evil and wicked owner or male staff member who ever was working today. My very respectable elderly family member who is 80, struggles to walk, disabled and was not feeling well due to the very hot weather needed to use the bathroom and to buy a bottle of water. We pulled over as soon as we could and went into this restaurant as it was the first place we could see that was open. The restaurant was not busy the owner bluntly refused use of the toilet and said go down the road to a different restaurant. Two other family members had to assist whilst our elderly family member struggled to walk to find a lavatory as we could not go any further by car and had been stuck in terrible traffic. I politely called the restaurant to ask again, i assume it was the owner he said in a very nasty tone he didn't care if he was elderly or disabled when i explained and to go else where. This man has no humanity is absolutely disgusting and wicked, if this is how he treats humans i strongly advise staying away from this restaurant and reading other bad reviews. I will be making great awareness on social media about what happened today at this restaurant. Thank fully the restaurant a bit further down the road towards the round about were extremely nice and helpful unfortunately i didnt catch the name but will post when i get it.

We had delicious lunch with my friends. Good portions, tasty fresh ingredients, good service and nice athmosphere.

Love when I find small places like this. Mid-morning, looking for light brekkie with good flavours and so nicely put together. Not a lot of offerings in Hampton Wick, till I came across this lovely spot. Inviting atmosphere and decor, staff so accommodating and friendly. Now the best part; fresh large croissant stuffed with the perfect melted cheese and ham, with fresh home squeezed orange juice with the perfect pot-of-tea. Could not have asked for anything more. Defo coming back for lunch and if chance provides it an evening meal. This place should be so busy, come on, family business give them your support they deserve it, as the effort and quality is so evident. Loved the touch of the Pomegranates 😃x

We booked as we walked by late afternoon today and had a table for 7.30 tonight. Lovely traditional bistro/ authentic Italian feel with excellent menu choices. Carbonara, lasagne and pomegranate special salad were all fresh and good portion sizes. Wine and beer alongside and such good value. Service with a smile, lovely surroundings and can highly recommend - would definitely visit again if in the area - THANK YOU

Overnight stay locally and did not want to eat at the hotel. Ordered a pizza and salad - freshly cooked and very tasty. Friendly staff and pleasant decor. Ad amazing value for the area - I've had similar simple meals in local pubs for double the prize - I'd go their again when in town.

Only eaten here twice so far, they do have a day time & evening menu but I've only eaten in evening. Both menus are of various continental foods so nice variety. Service & food both been very good when I have been. Very reasonably priced meals too.

Just had an absolutely fantastic meal at the Pomegranate Bistro, wow it was delicious we had starters, mains and pudding it was, sooo good.. Get yourself there honestly if I lived in this area I would definitely be a regular...nothing was to much trouble, service with a friendly smile spot on.

Visited mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The place was fairly quiet but had a nice atmosphere. Really friendly welcoming staff and service was tiptop. Paninis and a side of chips, perfect to tide us over till dinner time. We'll be back when we're next in the area!

First visit hopefully not the last shame not more people in the restaurant, as the food and service is first class, you don't know what you are missing, excellent value for the price. Chicken and ham arrabiata and spaghetti carbonara , with garlic bread and a glass or two of Malbec.

Nice cafe/bistro just off the beaten track over the river from Kingston. Relaxed, friendly, we regularly go for coffee and pastries, which are cheap and very good. They do more restaurant-y food and music in the evenings, which we have yet to try.

Found by accident. Nicely decorated with a cozy vibe, great service and food. Wide variety on the menu from pizzas, burgers, salads, ciabattas. Coffee was excellent and very large. Great value for money.

Went here for lunch whilst staying at a nearby Hotel. Good choice of menu and the food when it came was of good quality, reasonably priced, and was very tasty.The service was very good also . Yes the place has a retro feel to it, the music is good and it is very quirky. In a world of "same old, same old" eateries, this is a shining example of something different, which is worth supporting and cherishing.

Pomegranate's was open on a Sunday afternoon when local shops were shut and other catering establishments were not serving food. I was grateful to find somewhere to have a meal. I must have passed this place hundreds of times over the years, but never thought to try it. I was very impressed with the quality of the cooking. The cheerful 1960s and 1970s music was a bit too loud, but certainly brought back some memories. The chips were great--but could have done with slightly less salt. A nice little touch was the light scattering of signature pomegranate seeds on the plates of food.

I had the best steak for a long time. Nice flavoured and juicy rib-eye. We also had great malbec with it. Also service was really good and friendly. Thank you team pomegranate. we will be back again.

The starters where tasteless the beef stroganoff wasn’t a traditional recipe the meat was chewy and I’ve never had crunchy rice in my life, we wondered why we were literally the only people in the restaurant, now we know

we have been to pomegranate on the valentine's day. We really enjoyed with our meal. Me and my wife both got pizzas. It was top of the quality thin base and perfect taste. Waitress also was really polite and kind. Thank you :)

This place has been here a good few years now, with the current owner/chef staying the same.I love to eat out and will always give praise where it's due, but as we are faced with more and more choice I have become a little fussy.I have had lunch here on several occasions, and the quality of the food is poor, no amount of garnish, inc. pomegranate seeds can mask that.Same goes for the coffee, have not tried any of the alcoholic drinks.On top of that it needs a good gust of fresh air to sweep through it, all they have to do is open a window at the back, how difficult can that be?

Got on Deliveroo Pizza was not amazing if i'm honest, bit dry, cheese was a bit weathered and pizza was small. Was very upset because I was looking forward to it and it looked a bit sad in the big box

Stayed at the white hart hotel a few doors down and had dinner the first night here, absolutely lovely pizza,garlic bread and salad followed by desert for me and my husband, we followed with breakfast the next morning, great food, great service couldn’t ask for more, will definitely return and would highly recommend.

This little café was next to our hotel so we decided to try it for breakfast near the end of our trip. Too bad we waited so long to try it. They offer a Vegetarian Full English Breakfast that was very nice and reasonably priced. The service was great. We were surprised there was only one other table in use. The experience/food was so good, we repeated it two days later, just before we left!

Pleasant cafe, good, friendly service and a well prepared & presented breakfast. Generous serving that I think was excellent value for money. I’ll be back. Highly recommended.

Food staff hygiene prices all perfect .

First visit here. Strange as it was totally empty at 8pm on a Wednesday. Service was excellent as it was empty, but also good as well. I think the staff member was also doing the cooking. We enjoyed the Garlic bread starter and pizzas to follow. Support your local restaurants before they disappear.

It was a gem of a find in Kingston. A warm, friendly, informal place for lunch. We enjoyed the food and the ladies who served us were accommodating. They open in the evening too. We will make a trip to have dinner one day.

Had a few takeaways (via ubereats) and it was nice, most recent was bad. Food was cold and not a good quality for a bistro, maybe it is nicer if it was eat-in rather than a delivery.

Have been here 3 or 4 times now and the food is always delicious. Great for dinner or lunch but also do really good breakfasts. Really nice intimate atmosphere in the evenings, and service is spot on. Would recommend the lasagne, best I've had in years! Although based on experiences so far, you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. Sometimes have live music on Friday/Saturday nights.

Poor experience. Went to the loo which was unclean. Then asked for an earl grey tea, got an English breakfast tea instead. Decor had naff vibes.

La comida es tan buena con las comidas tradicionales en los que puedo elegir equivocado en su menú. Los precios también son geniales para gran tamaño de las porciones y el sabor delicioso! Tienen una marca especial poco comercio añadiendo semillas de color granate en cada plato que hacen una gran presentación y un toque encantador. El restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable y realmente recomiendo intentarlo.

We live a few doors down and have been a number of times - never let us down. Really cosy setting, friendly staff, reasonable prices and tasty food. If this place was over the bridge in Kingston I'm convinced it would be booked out most days.

Just lovely. We've recently moved to the area. Needed a quick lunch a few days ago, and had s nice bit of pasta. Then, last night the whole family went - best pizza I've had in ages, the Mrs had a nice steak. Two kids had chicken Kievs, portion sizes really good , and very reasonable. Lovely attentive staff, not in your face but there when you need something. I'm thinking about having the pizza again very soon.

Luego, la última noche toda la familia fuimos - la mejor pizza que he tenido en mucho tiempo, la señora tenía un filete de bonito. Dos hijos tenía pollo kiev, el tamaño de las porciones muy buena, y muy razonable. Personal encantador, atento en su rostro, pero no cuando necesitas algo. Estoy pensando en tener la pizza de nuevo muy pronto.

Our favourite place goot food with great price

This review reflects what we got via home delivery (Deliveroo). The pizzas were tiny, we actually had to double check that we didn't order children's size by mistake. No Italian restaurant owner with self respect would ever serve something this small. The pizzas were OK in flavour, but not balanced: there was too much topping, making the bottom soggy and soft. The chips for another dish were a bit soft, but not too bad. I hope this was not the best that this restaurant had to offer.

Pizza is really really good and we also had kievs which were excellent. Good value aswell

Aparecimos para comer uno de los miércoles por la tarde. Siendo un poco más alejado del centro de la ciudad, ot fue un descanso para escapar de las multitudes de compras de navidad. Qué lugar tan encantador, ambiente acogedor y personal. Croque monsieur y teníamos croque madame. Recién hechos, era delicioso. Me encantan los pequeños detalles peculiares a este lugar - - - Semillas de color granate dispersas placas de cristal, jarrones color granate en las mesas, color granate con nuestra factura de tarro de plata. Buena relación calidad-precio.

I always enjoy eating in Pomegranate. It's understated but the food is freshly prepared and delicious. It has a wine list which is worth working your way through.
