The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Korean food. Definitely coming back!

This is my usual place with my usual order. Been coming here for like 10 years. I love it here and don’t know why didn’t think to review it before. Lovely people who run the place and always feel welcome ☺️ This order is a generous meal for 2 hungry people..came to just over £40…always satisfies my craving for authentic korean food…have never had a problem getting a seat on a Saturday lunchtime, they have a couple extra rooms at the back for bigger groups.

The food was so good we went 3 days in a row. The mum that runs the place is really nice, and accommodating! It was our friends birthday and she gave us complimentary dishes 😭 The kkanpunggi was my favourite, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Price wise everything is affordable and not overpriced for the quality of food that they offer. I will definitely be back for more!

Best Korean Restaurant in New Malden! Delicious and tasty food... reng The portion is quite generous so keep in mind when you see the menu plus banchan are offered by the house which is quite good. reng We recommend Pajeon, Jjajangmyeon and Seolleongtang a few of the best dishes the restaurant has to offer. Plus soups come with rice!!! Keep in mind it's a small restaurant so it might take some time for the food to arrive when it's get's busy, but for sure worth the wait. The owner is such a lovely lady and very kind as well! Makes you feel very welcomed to restaurant! It's a must stop everytime we go to New Malden!

Everything about this place is 5 ⭐️. It doesn’t get more authentic Korean than this. The food is the best of traditional Korean cuisine, the owner walks around asking you how it is, they play Korean radio, and even have Korean TV playing in what’s a brilliant wood panelled interior - this place is class! 👏

I had a Jajang Bab(Black Bean Sauce with Rice) and Seafood soup. It was very tasty and large amount for me.

Been here a few times, has a very cosy feeling and you can tell this place has been around for a while. All the dishes give off a homey style, particularly their Korean fried chicken which is quite unique and different from all the other places in New Malden, worth a try!

Went in for early lunch on a Friday afternoon, we were the 1st customers in. Absolutely delightful lady very kind and thoughtful, helped us with the menu. Our food was served in 15 mins, enough time for us to enjoy our barley tea. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious. We ordered Japche, tteokbokki with ramen and Kimchi pancake. Loved the food here and we can’t wait to go back again. The price is very reasonable as compared to other similar places in New Malden and Sutton.

We've been here a few times after my daughter went to South Korea with Scouts. We always receive the warmest of welcomes and the food is incredible.

This is a restaurant that has stood the test of time. One of the first Korean restaurants that opened in the area 33 years ago. The owner is the sweetest, most charismatic personality who is celebrated with numerous accolades and recognised as a prominent member of the community. Food and drinks were decent for the price!!

There was only one member of staff, and they were too busy to take our order. We ended up waiting for 20 minutes. I ordered the seafood noodles, but the mussels smelled like sewage and tasted sour. The dish was just salty with no other flavour. We also ordered the spicy noodles, but after waiting 30 minutes and noticing that all the other food had arrived, I had to ask about them. When they finally came, I found a hair in the noodles. Absolutely revolting. We asked for tap water as well, but it was never brought over. I’ll never go back to this restaurant.

Spend about almost £50 and one of the item(JjamBbong) was leaked everywhere so there was only half of soup left on the food container when I received it… :(

Food was quite good and authentic but looked seriously lack of serving staff, took quite some time to have dishes delivered one after one was finished for a while. They didn’t even have time to serve you water or cutlery until you reminded twice. With food was not that special not worth to come again.

I loved the dining experience at You Me for its authenticity. The food was great and true to Korean food - I have travelled to Korea before so I hope I can gauge what reasonable quality is. I don’t usually like tteokbokki but I liked it here. Besides, what is there not to love about being able to chat with the owner after the meal? It is a no-frills, family style restaurant that seems to have regular customers. Love the vibe!

disgusting food with bad attitude from all staff. the owner woman tries her best to overcharge people in every possible way. Card charge, rounding up the price without asking customer. food tastes as if it was made two weeks ago. zero star if I can.

I only placed a few orders and it took two hours to receive them all. I waited a long time, but the food came out once an hour. Even though there weren't that many people... the food was so-so. It felt like things weren't operating properly. I came because I heard it was delicious, but I felt really sorry for my friends who came with me. I guess it's run by someone different from before.

Ordered seafood pancake, sweet and sour pork and cold noodles (soup-less version) Waitress was very nice but food took two hours to come out. This was probably a bad day for them as everyone was waiting and one table left before their food came. Pancake was a pass. Sweet and sour pork had crispy batter but too bland, lacked sweet sour and salty. Cold noodle was very salty but good texture.

Overall it wasn't bad. Food comes out quickly

It's been a while since I came here. I waited 20 minutes for business to start. The middle-aged woman who served me opened the door so rudely and spoke in English even though she greeted me in Korean, so I ordered in English and only later (after I asked her if she was Korean) did I realize she was speaking Korean. They said the owner hadn't changed, but the chef must have changed it and it was so, so bad. Jajangmyeon had a very strong pork fish smell. The stone pot bibimbap was also bland and the vegetables didn't seem fresh... The kkanpunggi came mixed with red pepper seasoning. The red pepper japchae was okay, but the jjajangmyeon had too much pork-based smell, so I stopped eating it and am posting a review. I didn't see the older female owner who was there before... but the taste wasn't the same as before. Has the kitchen or owner changed anything? Does anyone know? Around 2 o'clock, my husband, who ate dolsot bibimbap, had diarrhea while shopping at H Mart. I guess it’s because of the weather??

Yu Me is a great place to dining out. You feel at home. Mrs Okkyung Hur is very friendly. It is the second time I have come here with my wonderful friend and we really enjoyed all the dishes. We were very welcome by Mrs Hur. We recommend Yu Me, New Malden.

This is my first time to rate a restaurant such a low rating. Food is alright in terms of European standard. However the waitress attitude was very moody since we got in the restaurant. The entire experience was terrible since she was very frustrated to handle our order. When we ordered, she wanted us to say the order as quick as possible. We don’t know the reason behind that but I can see she is the only one who handle the entire floor. Maybe workload affects her mood a lot. Hope management can work on that. It is a total disappointment.

Food was mediocre, fried pork was like rubber, however the noodles were decent.

My family and I moved to London almost a year ago and after trying numerous Korean restaurants (a couple in New Malden as well), You Me has been my favorite. The mandu actually reminds me of my mom's (high compliments for me). My son helped devour them, and he also hasn't been a fan at other establishments. You Me also helped me to finally convince my son to try my childhood favorite - jajangmyeon - and he loved it. We visited for lunch and now I can't wait to go back for dinner as well. The service was very friendly. All around great experience.

Food was really good, reminds me of Korea, which I missed so much. Can’t get jjajang bokkeumbap much around London, so glad I can get it here. Portions are huge and good value for money.

As a Korean, if you want to have real Chinese-Korean food, or Korean food, I strongly reccomend this restaurant. Really tasty and authentic. Actually I used to take a picture before I finish, but here, I couldn't wait to have the food first, so I just took some picture of finished dishes😂. But believe me. Here provides the real Korean food. So same as the dishes I had back in Korea. It's really delicious. I went and had the sweet and sour pork and black bean jjamppong set and kimchi stew. It really tasted just like the old jjamppong I had in Korea, and the jjamppong tasted just like the old days in Korea. Especially in the UK, a lot of Chinese food is served, but the noodles are all weird and not tasty, but the noodles here are really good. When I asked the restaurant, they said they pull the noodles themselves. The kimchi stew was also very delicious, as if the kimchi was properly ripe. Please add a lot of meat. If you've ever dreamed of real Korean food, you should definitely go here if you want the real taste. It has a history of over 35 years and has even received a national medal. Twice. Famous PL soccer players have all come and gone. Perfect taste guaranteed. The staff were very friendly and we talked a lot. Be sure to visit once~ Oh, I just wanted to eat so much that I forgot to take a picture, so I'm sorry for taking a picture of the empty bowl after I finished eating.

I could feel the smell of my home country from the chinese foods. A server seems to look a bit older for taking all tables though, everything going well. There should be some mechanism.

My wife and I took 6 friends for my Birthday bash. Two previously said they didn't like Korean food but I convinced them the adventure was worthwhile. Well it was very worthwhile and the two dissenters will return. The food was fantastic, as was the service, particularly the advice we received regarding selection of dishes. We will return very soon

Ordered serval chicken katsu curry from this place on deliverro. Its like a mini where u have to guess whether they ll give u the curry that's suppose to come with it. Let's just say in the past 4 orders I only got the curry once, and they never pick up their phone.

Was turned away with my daughter during a lunch time , place was open and the person came up and said they were closed clearly only open for white or Korean people . Very rude and racist staff , friend of mine went and also said food was overprice and rude staff. Shame can anyone recommend a Korean place for brown folks like me . I just wanna try some nice Korean tasty food and be treated with some respect for my hard earned money.

I had this meal in an ordinary Saturday noon, and they were extremely kind in my experience. I ordered a Chinese Bean Sauce Noodles (짜장면 ; Jajangmyeon) and a Chicken Tangsuyuk (치킨탕수육 ; Sweet and Sour Chicken £11.90). Jajangmyeon: It’s actually the first time for me having Jajangmyeon in Europe, The noodles were warm and soft, there were sufficient sauce to mix with the noodles, and the sauce was defo not too salty ; the taste was perfect. 5/5 Tangsuyuk: The sauce was flavourful, yet a bit salty ; the chicken was nice and soft, but it’s not warm enough. It isn’t spicy (even though there’s some chilli and onions etc.) 3.5/5 It’s was an amazing dining experience after all, recommended .

My son loves Korean food (mostly from YouTube videos 😀). This was the first Korean restaurant we had gone to. The food was spectacular. Freshly made noddles, Kimchi to die for. Both the Tteokbokki gochujang and jjajangmyeon were so tasty with the perfect level of spice (neither of these dish’s I’d had previously). This was all wrapped up in amazing service from a lovely lady who helped us with your food selections and was just generally very attentive. I’ve already recommended this restaurant to friends of mine. A top notch restaurant!

All tasted good. It’s like going to South Korea. A large and private room was provided to us.

Very impressive with its quality of food , personally I will say it’s the best compared with rest of Korean restaurants in New Malden. The lady ( owner) is friendly with good service.

I love Korean food and this place was average to good. Service was fast and friendly and the food was well cooked and presented. However, the restaurant is a little dated and getting a bit grubby, there was limited choice of drinks and virtually no wine. They have limited fish/ seafood on the menu and no sashimi etc. Overall it was average for the area, certainly not the best, but far from the worst. There are many Korean restaurants in the area, so one is spoilt for choice. You Me restaurant is certainly worth a visit, but others are certainly more deserving!

There is a bit of chill powder& a bit of black bean paste in Radish container and Radish....Clearly they reused this.....I'm gutted ordering here...

I enjoyed my birthday lunch here at You Me Restaurant with my family. The owner, who's a lovely lady, was very friendly and they had good service. The food was very tasty 😋 and my favourite was the fried chicken salad. It was spicy but not too much, and it has a sweetness with a fresh salad! Yummy! 👍👍👍 My daughter enjoyed the grilled pork, and my son likes the vermicelli noodles. My husband said we will definitely come back again. Food is freshly cooked and delicious. 😋

We ordered four dishes and they are all so so. We think msg was used as we all feel quiet thirsty. The short rib soup rib was not tense. Not seem like a 4.4 restaurant We will not try again

Homely, non frills Korean restaurant. Nothing extraordinary and nothing bad, it’s an “everyday use” kind of place and that’s what’s good about here. Comfy and cosy, as if you’ve wondered into a random Korean family’s kitchen and they offered you food 😂

We wanted to have some Korean BBQ for a Sunday lunch and found this restaurant based on other reviews in the Google Maps. It was exactly like how others had described, a homely and family style restaurant with decors similar to the small family style restaurants I went to before in South Korea. The food was great, we ordered slice porks for 2 person portions, marinated beef and a vegetable bibimbap. The lady owner even sent us a free plate of lettuce telling us that those would help keep the cholesterol away with all the BBQ meat. Such a friendly and cheery owner with great service checking on us on the BBQ and teaching us the best way to eat them too. Would definitely visit again when we crave for good Korean food again.

Amazing authentic Korean restaurant! The fried chicken was crispy and coated in enough sauce and the Jajangmyeon and the naengmyeon was very refreshing to eat in the summer. The service was also amazing and the food came out quickly. This is a must go to place if you’re ever in new Malden !

Hundred precent authentic Korean family style restaurant, with sort of Korean grandma flavour. Very nice food especially the Jajangmyeon noodles, with really nice sauce! Kimchi fried pan cake is also very nice, which is really balance on spiciness.

Had proper Korean food finally 😋. It was so good. My sister and I had the sea food soup with rice, and my daughters had jajangmyeon with bulgogi it was delightful 😊. Shared a green grape soju after. What a lovely experience.

We came in a cold day with our little dog and elderly mum. We chose You Me because google mentioned that they allowed dog in the outdoor sitting area. Not many restaurants especially those serve asian type food are dog friendly. The restaurant was very kind to allow us and our dog in and occupying one of many private rooms. The food service was quick and food are very tasty and nice. Thank you You Me.

The food here is excellent. The Jjajang-myeon and Jjam-bpong noodle dishes are much better than certain popular Korean restaurants in the area. The fried chicken topped with pickles is also good. The owner manages to be very friendly and hospitable even though she is so busy.

We had lunch at You Me restaurant and it was a great experience. Feels like I'm back to Korea. The owner, Auntie is very accommodating, she treats her customer like a family. And the food, wow! It was amazing. Like home cooked. We will definitely coming back.

We used to like it a lot, but lately the deep fired chicken is just lots batters. We changed to deep fried squid… even worse … where’s my squid? Every piece was like this in our plate, not to mention waited more than 30min for the deep fried batter??

Authentic food and the service was great. We only found this place by chance but will definitely will be back to try some of the other dishes as the food we had was delicious (as was the barley tea). They also served some kimchi and some beans with the food. In terms of atmosphere it is cafe style but we did come on a Monday afternoon so maybe different in the evening but either way, we will be back.

혼자 짜장면 먹으러 갔는데 사장님이 이것저것 서비스도 많이 챙겨주시고 너무 좋았습니다. 식당 분위기도 아늑하고 너무 좋아요 ! 유명한 축구선수 싸인을 많이 볼 수 있습니다. 한국에서 먹던 짜장면 맛 생각나서 좋았어요. 종종 또 올 것 같아요.

Vegetarian Bibimbap (with soy sauce) was great. I also liked the ginseng tea. The owner is very friendly! It's a really nice place, I liked that they showed a korean TV channel as well.

The food is just the best, the seafood pancakes were so good and a great start to a memorable meal. We had a private room which was really nice but it was a bit cold which is the only reason for not rating 5 stars.

I went there a while ago and was very disappointed with the service and the food.... The food (bean noodle and deep fried pork with sweet sour sauce) that I asked for came out less than 3 minutes... I mean... did you guys actually cook or just heat it? Also the deep fried pork had an awful smell. When I asked for the fork and the scissor, the lady told me "I know what to give". I found her extemely rude. Won't visit there again. Best of luck for people visiting there. 서비스도 음식 너무 실망입니다. 말라 비틀어진 탕수육 3분만에 나오는 음식이 어디있습니까? 절대 가지마세요!!!!
