Starbucks Coffee in Kingston upon Thames

Drink had spilled everywhere and driver had spent about 20 minutes just walking around my area despite me trying to communicate where I was and coming to look for him. By the time he got here he gave me a spilled coffee that had affected other items. Not impressed.

The cookie was falling apart and super salty the most revolting cookie I’ve ever tasted never ever again

As a regular customer, I am typically satisfied with my experiences; however, I was quite disappointed when my usual order was incorrectly prepared. This unfortunate incident led to food poisoning, forcing me to take a week off from work. Despite my efforts to reach out for clarification, including sending emails and inquiries, I received no response. Therefore, I urge potential customers to be cautious when ordering drinks here, as there may be concerns regarding hygiene or adherence to specified orders by the staff.

Omar was very helpful, welcoming and made me and my girlfriend have a great experience while ordering and set the day off with good vibes.

Very good location and a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee after browsing the stores. Fairly large seating area and good coffee. The staff are also lovely.

Best Starbucks ever! They know me by name and what I drink! Really get to know their locals, cannot fault them, always a nice place to get some work done!

Corporate crap. Don't go to Starbucks. Support one of the many local independent businesses in Kingston that have infinity better coffee, service and atmosphere

Ordered two tall drinks. Person on the till said that's the smallest size and I replied that that's what I want. Another person comes over and proceeds to show us the different size cups and repeats that tall is the smallest. Again, replying that is what I want. Painful experience for no reason.

Really like this Starbucks! It's quite peaceful, plenty of seating, and the staff are really nice. I like that it stays open a bit later than most cafes in the area too. Can't comment on the food as I'm celiac and Starbucks stopped doing their gluten free sandwich :(

The app showed the driver having my order and on the way, but then I saw on the map that he was heading in the opposite direction making two stops on the way. When I asked him about it, he said he had two uber deliveries to drop off first.

Plenty of seating and plug sockets to park up and work remotely, wi-fi was on point and my latte hit the spot. Was there for a couple of hours and staff didn’t clear tables. Tables were also grubby and seats covered in crumbs.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The standard of Starbucks food and drinks are generally the same everywhere.

Staff is very rude here.. If you ask for customise any drink they just give rude expression and even didn’t respond well.. Very slow and Lazy

Lovely hot takeaway cappuccino and a wrap from the fridge, pleasant staff, at a very busy counter.

Super slow service without any attention or apologies from the staff. After waiting over 10 min had to cancel the order just to get it in no time at Nero across the street.

Hot food and drink was cold and the sandwich bun is rock hard. Was hard for my partner to even bite through he ended up not eating it in the end.

Not a fan of Starbucks. The ice tea I had was nice but nothing special and overpriced for what it is.

If an item ran out, just call so i can change it to something else. Don't just leave a note in my order telling me to get a refund through the app.

Starbucks is just getting ridiculous now. They are making so much profit, I am going to have to avoid them now. They charge you 5 pounds for one coffee. Take a friend and buy a cake and coffee and you're looking at spending £20. So unnecessarily expensive. Other coffee shops to not charge as much so will be going there now instead.

It's so very warm in this Starbucks. Just catching up on a few Emails with an iced coffee and beginning to feel drained. Service and drinks as you expect BUT, they wouldn't call me Spartacus ! :-)

It's a Starbucks franchise so not much to add than what most people already know. The coffee is good and usually very consistent with each visit, prices are standard for Starbucks (on the slightly expensive side), the venue is clean, there is indoor and outdoor seating, they offer hot/cold basic sandwiches and a range of cakes/cookies etc. They do introduce seasonal items or popular event items (e.g. pumpkin spice lattes etc.). You can buy their travel mugs in store. Downside of this branch is that it is usually busy, especially on the weekend so expect a queue for ordering and collection.

I am a longtime Starbucks customer and am very disappointed with this Starbucks. My mum has come to it for years for drinks and I am happy that it was only drinks. I stopped in today with friends after the Christmas markets and we were all planning on getting something to eat. Whilst waiting to be served we then noticed FLIES swarming in the food showcase full of pastries, brownies, and many more of the much loved Starbucks products. We counted four flies, one pressed on the glass - others bouncing between croissants and one going into a pain au chocolat. It was vile. I immediately told my other friend IN FRONT of the staff now waiting to serve me, not to have anything out of there because of the flies. I made a show of bending down and watching them. We even asked “do you realise there are flies in there”? To which we got no reply. I sighed and said they all need to be binned. The man nodded and so I got a toastie instead which has been safely inside plastic. I paid for my drink and toastie and went to the collection area - only to watch in horror as the man picked it out of the packet with his bare hands and put it into the oven, after having just touched the tills and cups and much more (his person, the scanner, etc etc). This store is not hygienic at all and I will never be buying food from here again. Upon leaving, it is clear that he did not bin any of the food and will proceed to let customers buy pastries and “sweet treats” despite them having been used as a bouncy castle for clearly quite a few flies (I’d estimate about 8 in there in total at the least). If you want a side of flies and food that’s been used as a bouncy castle for flies and germs, this Starbucks is perfect for you. I’m very disappointed. I never before thought I’d be having to give any Starbucks store such a bad review but I am shocked and change needs to happen because it is disgusting and unhygienic. Floors wet and slippery with no sign. Seating area floor with plenty of crumbs and litter laying about.

As I amvwriting this review, I am sited at Starbucks Bentall kingston. I have just been served chai latte which was completely cold, the when I went to them to warm up, I was then served with a cup tinted with lipstick around the cup. NO APOLOGIES WHATSEVER!!! Pathetic. Be aware you will be Be served with other people's used cup at Starbucks Bentall Kingston. If uour are to buy, whether you are sited or taking away, just take a take away cup, to be on the safe side.

This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The coffee they make slaps! And they don’t charge extra for decaf or almond milk. Chefs kiss 🤌

Food was soggy and still in the plastic even after being a warmed up , hardly any past milk in the drinks and had missing items

We got two takeaway Flat whites, the coffee was great and the service was quick and friendly. Will be back to try some of their specialty coffees as well. Loving their themed products for the fall season.

The food itself was great and the delivery time was accurate, however the hot drink was not properly secured and spilled about half of the contents. Luckily the food was in another bag so it didn’t impact the food, but it was a shame.

Ordered a tuna panini and there was nothing In the panini. I got warm bread

On two occasions I've ordered a hot coffee and actually been given an iced coffee in error. I'm not sure which member of staff is unable to read a basic order? Also, this time around they forgot the cake I ordered too! I've given up requesting sachets of sugar/sweetener as they never include them . Staffing needs improvement. Delivery driver always prompt and friendly.

Update 15.05.22 - this Starbucks has improved over the last few years. The staff are very polite. My local Starbucks closed down (Surbiton) so I come here instead sometimes. Most times I come here they make my drink wrong (idm if this happens occasionally, but when it's everytime that's not okay). Their aircon hasn't worked for weeks, no wonder the staff can't get the drinks right! The staff can be pretty rude too, when I asked for them to fix my drink she didn't say sorry and also didn't say a word when she put my remade drink down (not even the drink name/my name) 🙄....

The friendliest staff & the best coffee.

I went there my partner and my son the Mrs had a chocolate frappuccino I had caramel latte the coffee was made to perfection considering I'm a bit of a fussy coffee drinker the staff were extremely nice and service was quick

My daughter and I are Starbucks long-time customers, not that they have anything so special as a coffee, snack outlet, but this time round we been in this particular cafe my daughter had a stomachache after eating a snack. Never had it before though.

I went yesterday to this Starbucks outlet. I am giving 5 stars for one reason. Starbucks did so much the last years to improve the vegan choice, removed the plant milk extra charge and the guy who served me was really nice. I did not like the taste of the flavoured drinks:) First I tried the Honey & Hazelnut with oat milk. I know honey is not vegan but this drink has a syrup. Starbucks is using their own oat milk and not Oatly and did not taste as creamy at all. I could not taste hazelnut or honey flavour it was just very sweet and as usual soooo hot it burned my tongue. I went back to get another drink instead and this very friendly barista changed it for me. Thank you! The next drink was the Dark Cocoa & Orange. This time I asked for soy milk and drinking temperature. The drink was still too hot to be consumed immediately for me but other might have a less heat sensitive tongue :-) This drink tasted cocoa and orange but a rather cheap taste, so not for me either and I asked for it to be less sweet and the did put less powder but it was still too sweet. Maybe next time I just stick with coffee unless someone is telling me how to order these drinks so they do taste nice. I also ordered a vegan caramel brownie. Now that was delicious!! and I cannot wait to try the other vegan cakes/ pastries. Overall very helpful staff , amazing vegan progress, cake good but these sweet drinks... mediocre at best.

My drink was delivered empty. I guese the lid was not closed properly and so it got to me completly empty and the cake was all soaked in matcha too.

Nice Starbucks but…. Staff never clears tables which is annoying when you want to sit down and there’s lots of cups etc.

Our driver left our drinks in a sopping wet paper bag outside our door, which subsequently split a few seconds later when we picked it up, spilling coffee all over our brand new floor and vintage furniture. This most likely happened due to an insecure lid. We attempted to call the cafe but they didn't pick up after 10+ minutes. Poor service.

The wrost Starbucks, which I visited. Tasteless coffee. Whipped cream thin. Cinnamon cake old....

Nothing wrong with just eat but Starbucks didn’t put any cherry sauce in my drink (the tall one) or whipped cream in the grande one (which I paid 50p extra for) and there wasn’t a blue sugar finger in either drink which is a shame because these drinks are more expensive than the other seasonal drinks because it comes with a edible sugar finger.

Not packed correctly. Drinks leaked all over other items and half of drink out of cup. Driver cancelled and took back. Happened a few times now with Starbucks.

Nice experience, drink was made correctly and staff polite (both are not always so in Starbucks). Place was clean. Minus point for selling us a large tea when we did not ask for a large (but Starbucks staff are trained to do this).

Drink was nice as always. Service from justeat was a joke. Over an hour before they got a driver to deliver the drink. Tried to cancel order but by time managed to get through so the so called customer service the drink had apparently been made and was on its way. A further 20 mins later (the store is only 10 mins away) the drink has still not arrived. The service as just eat is disgusting, they just expect you to put up with it once they have your order.
