We visited last week. We had breakfast, which was delicious and sat by the balcony in glorious sunshine. We had a couple of hours, then viewed the galleries and walked the grounds. We visited our favourite man on the hill. If you xan manage the walk, the view is spectacular. A lively way wo spend a morning.

Steep entry price and expensive food and drink of fairly average quality. The park itself is massive, and has lots of sculptures, but most of them have no back story or explanation and are not at all curated. It’s a lovely place to walk around, but I don’t feel like we got much for our £9.50 each. Would be more if we’d done gift aid, which always puts a bad taste in my mouth. After spending nearly £50 for 2 of us to enter and have lunch, every surface seems to have a ‘donate today’ sign on. I’m not quite sure what you’d be donating to, as it feels like a commercial endeavour

The park it self is lovely, absolutely wonderful day out. We had a lovely time! I only have two complaints, there is no bottled water in your shop. It is just canned water, which is useless for walking. Not convenient at all. My other complaint is the car park. It is crammed, far too many spaces put together. It was very stressful trying to get into the space. Other than that, it is a lovely experience.

Beautiful sunny day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Visited years ago and now there is a visitor centre which is nice. Coffee shop is very small but good quality sandwiches, teas, coffee, cold drinks and ice cream/ lollies. There is a restaurant at the west entrance but didn't eat there. Toilets are clean. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Sculptures are very interesting. Good day, would recommend

The cafeteria food is pretty dreadful. I had some sort of fish meal, but the fish was virtually inedible. It had clearly been sitting out on a shelf for hours and was tough and tasteless. I had to spit it out. However, when I came to pay for it, I unwittingly and innocently stood at the WRONG end of the counter, because the tall blonde lady who was taking the payment for my meal said something along the lines of "No, you have to stand over there for service!". There are NO written signs and no indications whatsoever of where the customers MUST queue. Her attitude was that I was 'pushing-in', despite the fact that no other customers were about. How are we supposed to know where to stand?? And each subsequent customer who showed up after me with their meals was also abruptly, and very curtly, told where they have to wait because they too weren't following the 'RULES'. Here's a radical idea, why don't you just put up a couple of clearly written signs to alert customers about where they MUST line up? To that blonde lady - some of us have travelled a long way to visit this place and we don't appreciate being talked down to as if we are idiots by you.

Why do you have statement on the poster outside and on the map saying 'No dogs inside the building'...but dog friendly tables in the cafe? My wife tripped over the base of a litter bin outside the visitor centre walkway and broke a bone in her hand. No sign of livestock in the park. Dogs should allowed off the lead and under control. There are lots of benches to sit on and as it spreads across both sides of a valley there are hills to navigate. The toilets are at either entrance and the cafe only. There are only 2 EV chargers as yet, both at the Weston entrance. The signage is really well done as it is set away from the sculptures themselves so nothing distracts from the art itself.
