It was a beautiful day. The sculptures are varied. I took my sister and her husband. They have lived nearby and never visited. They were both very impressed with it. I trained there as a teacher from 1979 to 1983. I go on regular reunions every 2-3 years. Every time I go it evokes wonderful memories. It's an excellent venue for all people of all ages. It's well worth a visit.

The artwork may not be for everyone but the grounds are wonderful, with a lovely lake to walk around as well as the various sculptures. My only real issue was the sheer amount of dog "leavings" thay inconsiderate owners had left behind on the footpaths...

Glorious spring day walking out in to the landscape of this very special place… I especially went to see the powerful David Nash and Andy Goldsworthy works… and to enjoy the Elizabeth Frink in the lower gallery, and a good cup of coffee. It’s always a treat for me to come here… and this time, during a light rain shower, I went to the lounge and library to look through some of the books there… Art and Nature together… loved it!

The cafeteria food is pretty dreadful. I had some sort of fish meal, but the fish was virtually inedible. It had clearly been sitting out on a shelf for hours and was tough and tasteless. I had to spit it out. However, when I came to pay for it, I unwittingly and innocently stood at the WRONG end of the counter, because the tall blonde lady who was taking the payment for my meal said something along the lines of "No, you have to stand over there for service!". There are NO written signs and no indications whatsoever of where the customers MUST queue. Her attitude was that I was 'pushing-in', despite the fact that no other customers were about. How are we supposed to know where to stand?? And each subsequent customer who showed up after me with their meals was also abruptly, and very curtly, told where they have to wait because they too weren't following the 'RULES'. Here's a radical idea, why don't you just put up a couple of clearly written signs to alert customers about where they MUST line up? To that blonde lady - some of us have travelled a long way to visit this place and we don't appreciate being talked down to as if we are idiots by you.

Favourite place. Come here all the time and decided to become a friend with annual pass just recently. Wonderful trees. Sculptures that are like old friends like the Sophie Ryder hare. Long walks. The map was poor. Signage around the park would have been helpful too. Why do you have statement on the poster outside and on the map saying 'No dogs inside the building'...but dog friendly tables in the cafe? My wife tripped over the base of a litter bin outside the visitor centre walkway and broke a bone in her hand. No sign of livestock in the park. Dogs should allowed off the lead and under control. One dog owner did let their dog run. The dog loved it and no harm was done. The cafe was warm and comfortable with a beautiful view friendly staff.

Took shameless advantage of Covid to introduce a monumental price increase under the guise of social distancing and public health - and unlike others, never went back. A middle class attraction where low income families have been priced out. Makes a mockery of their laughable 'art for all' mission statement. Grubbly little elitist disaster capitalists.

Fancy a nice, relaxing and pleasant walk in a peaceful environment, and the opportunity to see some great artwork? All you need to do is go online, select your date, give personal information like your name, address, phone number and email address, then create an account, give a password, turn down repeated requests for donations, gift aid etc, then download a ticket onto some software like Microsoft 360 (which requires another pile of personal information), then print the ticket. Alternatively, just go for a walk in the nearest bit of local countryside. Utter madness.

Not somewhere I visit often because of the price- £7 for young adults and £9.50 for standard. But WOW it is great fun. I used to go a lot when I was younger and they’ve just kept expanding which is great to see. Lovely walk you can make your own distance. My father recently had a fall and as soon as he wanted to head back it was easy to make a loop back. LOTS OF BENCHES! Always a great plus. Once again the price is a bit much my parents would not have gone as often back in the day but if it goes to the artist I’m okay with that😇.

We spent 2 days here. Taking our time and enjoying the trees and views as well as the sculpture. There's a lot to see here. Lots of the paths would be inaccessible for wheelchairs. There are lots of benches to sit on and as it spreads across both sides of a valley there are hills to navigate. The toilets are at either entrance and the cafe only. There are only 2 EV chargers as yet, both at the Weston entrance. The signage is really well done as it is set away from the sculptures themselves so nothing distracts from the art itself. There are fantastic sculptures at every turn. I really recommend going.

We met with some friends for lunch and then walked around the extensive grounds and visited Seizure, the council flat that was filled with a copper sulphate solution, and then left to grow crystals on all surfaces. Lovely place for a day out. The staff in the Weston where we had lunch and the tearoom where we went for a drink before going home didn't seem very inspired: The water we asked for at lunch only arrived after asking 3 times. My dessert was left on the counter although the other 3 people in our group did get their desserts. In the end one of us walked over and got it for me. In the tea room the 'barista' only used one part of the machine, and only ever did one thing at a time, so making coffee, frothing milk etc took forever and the queue was getting longer while the other staff only seemed to do a bit of tidying. Given the prices that are charged this is not what I would expect.
