Best Chinese Takeaway in Southend City and beyond. They are retiring soon now and will be greatly missed.

We picked our order up ourselves and it was ready within 20 minutes. Everything tasted really good, was very competitively priced and the lady taking our order even amended the spice level. We'll order from here again for sure.

We were told it would be an hour for delivery which was fine but an hour & 20 mins later it still had not arrived . I phoned & they were apologetic& said it would be with us in 10 mins. Another half hour & still it was not here.when it eventually arrived which was 2 hours from when we originally ordered, the wraps for the duck were stuck together & hard at the edges. I phoned & told them & they sent some more out which were exactly the same. I couldn’t be bothered to phone again & our meal was completely ruined 😡

Been using Yings for over 20 years. Occasionally if we have company they might suggest using their favourite Chinese, so we give it a try but its never as good as far as we're concerned and we always return to Yings! :)

We have tried Yings a couple of times in the last few weeks, and had consistently a very positive experience. The nicest chinese food in the area (we have tried quite a few other take aways), the staff was absolutely lovely and they have a wide selection of dishes, many of which are vegetarian, which is highly appreciated. So glad we found this little gem! :)

This Chinese takeaway is the best I have had. We have been using this takeaway for at least 5 years and it never lets us down. Food is always excellent. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed

Been using yings for years. Always consistent food which is always fantastic. Waiting times are understandable when busy as it is family run. Best curry sauce in southend, best thin crispy chicken balls in southend none of that stodgy batter! Reasonabally priced for the food and service always top. Thank you!

Been using Yings for 20 years from Westcliff & Leigh, excellent quality and value. Tried other places occasionally recommended by family and friends but never as good.

We have been eating Ying's food for many years. It is always cooked to a high standard and although the menu is not as comprehensive as some others the quality more than makes up for this. Highly recommended.

We have been using Yings, for many years. My mother prefers Wings in Southend and my brother prefers Pings in Thorpe Bay, but for us it’s Yings all the way :) you have to wait sometimes when they are busy but food is good quality and the delivery man is lovely. The rice is perfect. They also add less or no MSG dishes. It’s never been disappointing!

One of my regular Chinese takeaways been useing for some years now good food n prices not usually a long wait as i order in store n wait.

We ordered a takeaway on a Friday night as a weekly treat, once we arrived home we dished our dinner and found 3 hairs in our food. We threw the food in the bin and called yings, we took the hairs there to show the lady at the counter and she argued with me and my partner. Apparently the chefs didn't have the same hair type as we found in our food.. after having a heated discussion with the lady we got a refund and left to find another place to eat. Never again!! Service is awful and food was even worse.

We have been using Yings for over 20 years and can't remember ever being disappointed. I get the impression they are a family run business, always friendly especially the two delivery drivers. Food is delicious and never been late with deliveries, usually giving 45 minutes although sometimes 1 hour when very busy which is understandable. We started using Yings around 1997 because we lived in Westcliff at that time, we now live about 3 miles away but as mentioned, still always on time with delicious hot tasty food, definitely recommend them.

Always top drawer. Never a bad meal. Delivery always fast and on time. Wont use another chinese in town.

I have moved from Westcliff but still use Yings. Unbeatable food, lovely people who run it and so much better than the rest!

Been using Ying's for over 10 years for take-away, delivery. Driver always friendly and excellent food, hot and delicious! We've tried others from time to time, only because of friends preferences, but they're never as good as Ying's as far as we're concerned. Thoroughly recommend.

This little take-away is tucked in among the shops lining London road into Southend town. I don't use it very often as there are other better take-aways in my view.

Food is tasty but it is EXTREMELY slow, been told 45mins this evening but has taken nearly 2hrs!!!! Which has left me with 2 tired and very hungry children. Won't be ordering again, What an absolute joke!!!!

in my opinion no Chinese in the area even scratches the surface of how good this place is 10/10
