Yi Wah in Greenwich

We ordered of deliveroo and the delivery was very timely and the staff on the phone were very polite and helpful when we rang for a change and also when we could not trace a missing item (which was our misunderstanding!) The food is a completely different matter.. 1. Szechuan style chicken was not at all like it should be. just tons of green chillies chucked into it!! Spicy YES, tasty NO 2. Steamed Dumplings were soaked in soya sauce. Made it too salty to eat. 3. Deep fried squid was so bad in texture, kids just spit it out and had to all go in the bin. Overall, good service, very very bad tasting food!! Avoid this place if you can!

My wife and I have been using this takeaway pretty much since we moved to Eltham in 2012. It quite simply is the best in the area in our opinion with a varied menu and super service. It is also tremendously fast (compared to every other takeaway we order). Mine's a Pork with Beansprouts and be sure to check out the chilli squid starter which is the best I've ever tasted.

Been using this take away for over 15 years to be honest have had to complain a few times about the food, although when I complained the last time the abuse I received was really rude, aggressive, shouted at and phoned slammed down. I ordered food to be told that it would be half hour for it only to turn up within 10 mins my complaint was that it had come far to early. I was told that the person who takes the order would have said approx., almost, within .... on this occasion they did not and this was my complaint. In reality, I could have been on my way home and would have been grateful that I had half hour to do so. The staff are rude and un professional and god help anyone that complains about it. Never using it again. Far more better takeaways in the area with professional staff.

This is our local takeaway and has been for the last 15 years. Unfortunately in the last year something has changed.the service is awful, they leave you hanging on the phone waiting for your order to be taken, get your order wrong, and sometimes are just so not with it they don't even take your payment. I still paid telling them their mistake and not even a thank you...worst of all though. .the quality of the food has deteriorated and that's not acceptable. It's bland, salty and over the years portions have gone down in size...you used to get 6 won tons in the soup, that's now 4.....5 If you're lucky....there are better placed out there now...sorry guys..

I've been going to Yi Wah for years and I've never had a bad meal. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and delivered on time - What more could you ask?!

Best take out in Eltham as far as I'm concerned. Lovely friendly staff, Chips and curry sauce! mmmm. ..other food on menu is tasty and fresh. Never had a bad dish and been going there for years. would recommend.

Have been enjoying time wah for 5 years fast delivery great food friendly staff. Recommend Singapore rice noodles.

Have used China Noodle for 3 years. Tried Yi Wah for a delivery earlier tonight. Two hours later and no food. Will never use them again. If you want fast good food use China Noodle. Yi Wah are worse than useless.
